Holmes awoke to the feeling of someone holding his head. He opened his eyes and Dr Watson's face came into view. He was unshackling the iron collar.
"My Boswell." He tried to stand but fell against John's chest. He wrapped his arms around the detective. Helped him stand upright.
"I...I told you n...not to come. You're in danger..."
Watson threw Holmes' arm across his should, helping him limp toward the door.
"We need to hurry " Watson reached for the door when it swung open.
Moriarty walked in, his evil smile gleaming in the light filtering in.
"Ah gentlemen!"
Moriarty brought up his cane, a long thin blade emerged. In one fluid motion he brought it across Watson's stomach.
Watson gasped as he looked down. Red. Instantaneous res began spreading across his white shirt.
"Bad time to wear white Doctor."
Watson stumbled backwards crashing to the ground. Causing the detective to fall with him.
Holmes pushed himself up, he crawled over to him. He held his lover's head in his lap. A long keening moan escaped his lips.
Watson tried to speak but only wet gurgles met Holmes' ears. His eyes began to glaze over as he focused on Sherlock's face. He wrapped his long arms around him
"No...no..." He choked "No.."
Moriarty leaned against the doorframe watching. He seemed to be almost giddy with excitement. He giggled when he heard the death rattle that left Watson's mouth. He outrun laughed when he heard Sherlock cry out.
He buried his face in Watson's neck, his tears mixing with the dark red blood staining Watson's shirt and trouserzls.
"That was marvelous!!! Simply marvelous!!" He clapped. "I might have to make into a play. So I can relive this moment over and over."
He walked over to Holmes. He listened to Holmes ragged breathing. The occasional sob or wait that came through.
He crouched down watching him cradle his lover's body.
"I want to get a good look at you. Burn this imagine into my memory forever." He took a deep breath. "Hmmm...yes." He murmured. "I think I'll leave your inverts body with you." He bent over whispering in his ear. "This is your fault ..never forget that
