Hey, we have another small chapter in here and I am doing that build up thing. I know its not the best build up, but it's the best I can do. Remember I am not a master storyteller, you put this in the hand of someone like IronPrime and it's a masterpiece of writing.
We are going to have the X-Men fight a demon in here, lets see how well they will do. I am going to have cameos by the other heroes in future chapters, the idea of a monster eating people would be a terrifying thing to keep in your mind so its best to watch out.
In the woods
The X-Men saw that creature while appearance was of a humanoid did not appear any shred of humanity. The fangs, dark eyes, grayish skin, long nails and overall creepy sensation was giving them all some horrifying vibes from it.
Cyclops was the one leading the main charge. Jean, Kitty, Rogue were on his left ready to go if something bad happened, Kurt and Evan were on his right and both in battle position. The nearest to him were Wolverine, Storm and Beast who all looked ready to start some kind of brawl, especially Wolverine that had his claws already out.
"Listen! We just want to help!'' Said Cyclops.
"What?!'' Asked the demon.
"We know you can't find these urges but we can figure some kind of deal with the authorities. We don't want to fight; we just want to help you.'' Said Scott.
"Help!? Why you I need help?' 'Asked the demon smirking and laughing.
The others didn't like that, if that thing was a person he wasn't showing any sign of humanity in there. Logan was having none of that talk.
"Listen bub, if you don't stop these attacks we are going to put you down and if you are cooperative we can let you keep a hand or a feet.'' Said Logan ready to attack.
"Oh yeah?!'' Asked the demon with a smirk as his instincts were ready for an attack.
He took a good look at the female mutants and went directly to jean.
"You look tasty dear!'' Said him drooling as he went to bite her.
"Uh!'' Said her in shock.
"Get away from her!'' Scream Scott using his eye laser.
Bam
The laser tossed the demon to the side, but he appeared to not be having any sort of damage. He had some flesh burned but nothing major, he brushed it off and now had a smirk on his face again.
"Now it's going to get good!'' Said him ready to attack.
"Better stop the formality, Slim! He is out of rationality! I will deal with this!'' Said Logan ready for an attack.
"So we are just going to let Logan slash him?'' Asked Scott confused.
"I mean I am ok with that.'' Said Evan not minding that in the slightest.
The Wolverine went towards the monster, lashing his claws towards the monster.
"AAAAH!'' Scream Logan going for an attack.
The creature dodged one attack but he managed to get another shot and got a big vut in the chest of the monster.
Slash
"Argh! It hurts! Why?'' Asked the demon in pain.
"Logan! This wound is fatal!'' Said Beast worried.
"Listen furball, this thing is not getting any sympathy of me. If we have to get something dirty leave it to me.'' Said Logan.
"Oh you will pay for this.'' Said the demon.
Then they all saw the big cut was starting to disappear, but the scar was still showing up.
"Regeneration?!'' asked Logan in surprise, that couldn't be good.
"Well, this metal isn't as bad as those swords but still hurt and this scar is going to stay with me for a while. I gotta hand to you this metal is no joke.'' Said the demon.
Logan just got in a better position, Storm started to levitate and Beast got a little more feral.
"What are you?'' Asked Logan.
"I am…your demise.'' Said the demon, being very cliché.
The adults were ready to get into a serious brawl against that creature, they were ready to fight for hours and let the kids go.
However Kitty Pryde soon phased towards the ground, not going so much so she wouldn't ended up going too deep. She went quickly to subdue the demon.
"Kitty! Fast!'' Said Scott.
"On it!'' Said her.
"Uh?'' Asked demon.
The demon was soon sucked to the ground, the creature confused on what had just happened, he knew the mutants have done something, but he didn't know what kind of ability was that. Soon a puff of smoke appeared.
Bam
Nightcrawler appeared and grabbed Kitty hand to take her out of the ground before she started to sink, it was very risky but at least their strategy was successful.
"Thanks!'' Said Kitty hugging the blue furry mutants.
"You're welcome.'' Said Kurt smiling.
The demon started to struggle to get out of the ground, much to his annoyance.
"You fools! This won't hold me for long!'' Said the demon.
"You talk a lot for someone who is stuck like a golfer!'' Said Rogue annoyed.
The X-Men were looking at that creature, they didn't know if this was an actual mutant or…a real monster. Maybe this was a real monster that wanted to kill people and eat them, they knew that weird things were around them, but this was the scariest of them all.
"If come with us you will be put in a holding cell. Stop fighting back.'' Said Scott.
"Oh really!? Try against this.'' Said the demon trying to move out.
The ground started to shake a little bit, much to everyone's shock of what was happening.
"What is going on?'' Asked Kitty worried.
"oh no, I've seen this before.'' Said Logan.
The creature soon made a crack on the ground, opening it looking like a drill opening a hole in the ground. It was costing the demon a bunch of muscles mass, but he could get that back once he eat some more.
BAAM
The creature got out of the ground with very twisted muscles. Despite being in some kind of pain he still had a evil grim in his face.
"Did you all thought this fight was over already?'' Asked the demon.
"My stars and Gates! These are distortions that should make a human crumble in pain and unable to move!.'' Said Beast in horror.
"What are you?'' Asked Jean in shock.
"Time to get some food.'' Said the demon.
Soon he started to chant something as a symbol appeared in his eye.
"Demon Blood: Transfiguration Rage!''
The demon soon started to make some weird noises as his boens and muscles started to move, he started to growl and make more noises that would resemble a creature that would reside in someone nightmare.
"What is going on?'' Asked Kitty.
"I don't know but I am not liking at all.'' Said Kurt.
The demon soon grew to be almost as tall as the size of a tree, it was almost as bigger as Juggernaut and they didn't know if it was as strong as the unstoppable man.
"Did he got even bigger?'' Asked Storm worried.
"You gotta to be kidding me.'' Said Logan annoyed.
Then the jaws of the monster grew, looking like a huge jaw with a bunch of teeth.
"Gross!'' Said Kitty in horror.
"Fall back!'' Said Storm.
The weather queen soon made the wind ever stronger and looking like it was going to start a giant rain. She aimed a tornado towards the monster, but he was barely moving, he was even chuckling.
"He He. Its getting chilly or is just me?'' Asked him.
Soon Ororo contacted Xavier, this was getting scary. It was like a horror moving.
"Charles. We need to get rough with this being.'' Said Ororo through the communicator.
"What? Are you going to use brute strength!?'' Asked him.
"Is not getting down. Not even a good cut from Logan, he regenerated!'' Said Ororo.
"What! I don't understand what kind of mutant would have all these sorts of abilities at once?'' Asked him.
"Charles…I don't think this is either human or mutant.'' Said Ororo scared.
She stopped the communication, she would have to focus all of her attention on taking down this monster.
"What is this creature, Henry?'' Asked Ororo.
"I don't know. I've seen many kinds of mutants over the years and…I never seen something like that.'' Said Beast now scared.
The X-Men soon look in horror of the giant monster, looking down at them with a giant jaw full of sharp teeth. He looked like something that crawl out of hell, they knew Mutants would have horrible appearance, but this was something that would be carved into their mind forever.
"What do we do know?'' Asked Evan preparing more spikes.
"I don't know! But I want to wake up!'' Said Kitty in horror.
"Should I touch him?'' Asked Rogue.
"I won't do that Stripes. He appears to have fast instincts.'' Said Logan now ready for an old brawl.
The demon just chuckles at the mutants that he was looking down as if they were insects. They might be tough but without the Demon Slayer blades he was going to be fine.
"The sun won't come out for hours, we have more than enough for some fun. So come on who wants to be the first?'' Said the Demon with a growling voice.
Then before he could start attacking, he heard something off.
"Uh?'' Asked him as he was stabbed by a huge metal beam. It stuck him on the back.
Shrink
The X-Men and the Demon were all confused on what just happened, did a metal beam just appeared out of the blue? Well, the grownups knew what does this mean and this wasn't good.
"What?!'' Asked the Demon confused.
"It's that a metal beam?'' Asked Scott confused.
"Well, I am glad your eyes work properly, Summers.'' Said a cold voice.
The X-Men saw their arch enemy, the master of Magnetism floating above them with a look of anger on his face, although to be fair Magneto was always feeling kind of anger.
"Magneto!'' Said Ororo in surprise.
"So, you're the creature that has been causing a havoc among my city. Tell me your business and I shall spare you.'' Said Magneto while moving the metal beam on the creature's back, hoping to make him cry in pain.
The Demon just chuckled at that, while that metal beam was hurting him it didn't compare to that guy blades or a demon slayer sword. This would be interesting.
"I wonder how you will taste like!'' Said the demon licking his lips.
So yes, it's kind of a mid-chapter for this. I know I know you all deserve the best, but I am just a guy on a computer. Its fun so far and we are on his way, we are about 3 chapters until Tanjiro show up.
