BGM-Shadow the Hedgehog OST-Preparation for Ritual
The Jackal's secret base is more crowded with human engineers than one would think. Most of them are in a massive chamber, tinkering with a mysterious yet important device. A large multicolored machine with pulleys and a star in the middle. It is designed with a hellish purpose in mind. The brainchild behind this project is Miles Warren himself, entering the upper computer room and surprising the technician inside in his human form. "Mr. Warren." The Technician greeted his superior.
"Is the Special Generator complete yet?" Warren asked, staring at the mystery device through the glass window.
"Yessir. Just making some minor modifications. We are nearly done with the testing phase. The Convergium power source is proving optimal and the device has maintained a stable connection with the targeted timespace. By your order, we can transfer the Comet to our general location." The Technician answered vaguely.
"Excellent. Start warming it up. Our partner at the other side is putting the last touches to the renovation." Warren ordered, being cryptic himself about his master plan.
"Can I admit, sir, that I feel uneasy about this? While it is for the good of the company, we are tampering with dangerous forces that are borderline biblical." The Technician admitted.
"True…But that's the price you pay when you find yourself in a good deal." Warren frowned, adding grimness into his expressions that makes it look like he made a devilish deal with someone. "If we mess this up, we're all doomed to damnation. Even clones won't save the soul from him…" His eye then twitch with fear, swiftly hiding it with his usual arrogant attitude, "Fortunately, I'm the supergenius that was hired on the spot as Head of R . Scarlet Spider has been handled and Ogre is soul-stealing from S.T.R.I.K.E. one pesky hero at a time until he reaches his true power. We have nothing to worry about."
"I guess so." The Technician said, being assured by a casual shoulder-pat from Warren.
"Keep up the good work. I need to collect the final ingredients." Warren said, leaving the room with a sinister smile that is eager to torment the heroes that are in the middle of stopping his devilish schemes.

BGM-Mega Man Zero 3 OST-Prismatic (Remastered)
"…Okay. We'll check it out. Meet you there. Thank you." Tiki said, putting away her cellphone with a stern look that she shares with her S.T.R.I.K.E. Squad in the War Room. "That was Officer Layton. Eyewitnesses spotted Scarlet Spider nearing the new haunted mansion at Houston." She informed them.
"Why return home so soon? You told us he was hunting down his enemies." Severa questioned.
"One of them must be in the area. We have to hurry and capture him before he puts more innocent people in danger." Lie Ren remarked.
"Holy Magic and telepathy are the only techniques that can affect him, but we haven't figured out a way to return him to normal." Jaune Arc pondered.
"You're the Devil Hunter. Any ideas?" Rouge the Bat asked the Sparda Son seating on the comfortable couch.
"I don't know where my nephew is keeping the Yamato these days." Dante quipped.
"Hey." Sternly, Dark Pit shoots a look at the confused Noel Vermillion, asking her, "How did your friend save you again when you lost control as Mu-12?"
"Mu?" Naoto Kurogane commented with curious look at the NOL Lieutenant.
"Yeah, um…I'm not exactly human. I'm a Murakumo Unit." Noel revealed shyly, much to the shock of some of her friends. Especially Naoto.
"Say what?! Thought you looked familiar! You're like that crazy Nu girl that wanted to kill me for no reason!" Naoto snapped, completely surprised by her true nature.
"Yeah, we're like sisters. I don't know why she's like that. Sorry…" Noel apologized with a sheepish smile.
"I-It's okay. I just have bad experiences with Murakumos." Naoto assured her.
"What makes you so different from that girl?" Heihachi Mishima questioned the artificial girl.
"Because I'm not just a Murakumo. I'm also Kusanagi, Sword of the Godslayer." Noel stated sternly.
"It's blasphemy a cutting board thinks she can kill me." Viridi snarked, taking offense.
"Ouuuuch…" Noel expressed sadly, extremely sensitive to comments made about her small chest size. She somewhat gets over it as she briefs everyone of how she overcame her evil nature in the past, "Anyway…When I was consumed by that power, I nearly destroyed the God that created my world, but then my friend sacrificed his arm with an Idea Engine to save me."
"Query: Are these Idea Engines advanced weaponry?" E-123 Omega commented.
"Basically. Professor Kokonoe created them. I'm not sure if it'll have the same effect on Kaine." Noel said.
"It's worth a shot. She's with Delta Team right now. I'll call her up to see if she can spare us one." Rouge smiled before contacting Kokonoe.
One awkward moment later, no one picked up the call and that left Rouge very annoyed, "…Or not. Must be still busy looking at that Tree."
"There must be another way. Kaine is consumed by his past and forgot his resolve. I know what's that like. The Chaos Emeralds were my guide in freeing myself from that fate. We must find his equivalent." said Shadow the Hedgehog, reminiscing of his soul-searching adventure when he had amnesia.
Tiki thinks to herself for a solemn moment, pondering aloud of her idea to save her boyfriend. "…The Web of Life and Destiny." She announced, garnering everyone's attention.
"That sounds made up." Naoto snarked.
"It is real. Every alternate reality is connected by its threads. It is the celestial map of humanity, protected and nurtured by Spider-Totems such as Scarlet Spider that have their powers bound to its Great Web." Tiki briefed everyone. Turning her wise gaze over to Noel, she then tasks her with, "Noel, you should use your Power of the Eye on Scarlet. Illuminate his strand so it may guide him to the power beyond history and fate."
"Just like I did with Tsubaki that one time. I'll do my best." Noel nodded, accepting the task with determination.
"Let's hurry. We can't lose him again." Jaune commanded the squad.
"Shouldn't we warn Jin that Jackal's after him?" Nora suggested with concern.
"That brat is stubborn as hell. He'll be fine." Heihachi assured the huntress trainee, passing by her as the group prepare to leave for their next destination.

Mystic Kuroyuri Zone, Houston.
Mystic Kuroyuri Zone. Another hybrid area that was born from fusing mystical with tragedy. The Zone has whole acres of graveyard real estate resembling Anhui-inspired architecture, with canals filled with lotus flowers. A lake village perfect for wealthy settlers if it wasn't dead. And haunted. This village is home to a haunted mansion that looks to have two ghostly figures spying on the new arrivals knocking on the front door. Those people happen to be Team Jin, with the leader himself opening the door for a cautious peek before leading everyone inside. Including Ling Xiaoyu who is very frightened about this place.
"A-A-A-Are you SURE…we're s-s-supposed to be here?" The scared Xiaoyu asked, startled by the ominous lightning storm outside.
"I can sense the Unknown is somewhere inside. Almost as if she is calling to me and the boy." Ghost Rider proclaimed, expressing no fear of this mansion like his fellow men.
"Would've preferred she called us to Hawaii…" Xiaoyu quipped to cool her nerves.
BGM-Super Mario 64 OST-Haunted House
The five heroes walk up a staircase in their search for the mysterious woman that stole the Life Seed. They walk past some paintings that erect reactions from some of them. Angel looks at them with intrigue. Impressed by the work. Xiaoyu, on the other hand, was spooked when it looked like one of them was eyeing her. Creepily watching her every move as she hugs Jin's arm for comfort.
"I am curious." said Doctor Strange, entering a room with the group.
"Of her motives?" Angel questions him about Unknown, while Xiaoyu inspects a creepy reflection of herself on a mirror.
"Of everything about her. Her origin, the nature of her powers, her connection with Jin Kazama…" Strange said, briefly interrupted by Xiao's scream from being spooked by a fat ghost none of the men noticed.
"That's the reason we're calling her Unknown." Angel continued conversing with Strange, while Xiao tries explaining her behavior to Jin and Ghost Rider.
"At first, I thought she was allied with the Ogres, but now I'm not so sure. We haven't seen them together since Kamar-Taj and her silence doesn't express leadership. She hasn't harmed anyone besides us. Even then, it wasn't with the intent to kill, so she's not after our souls like the others." Strange replied, now with the group walking down a moonlit hallway.
"Are you saying she's testing us?" Angel wondered.
"It's a possibility. She's certainly working on her own agenda. Not once has she tapped into the Life Seed's power. Only used as an incentive for us to pursue her and run into Ghost Rider, who was summoned by her presence. Now she has led us here to face another trial. It is as if she is gathering us to fulfill an important destiny." Strange speculated. Then he looks at, "Jin. Do you have an idea of who she is and her purpose?"
Jin hesitates. Responding shortly after with a solemn, "…I do.", expressed by a frown that piques his allies' curiosity of what he knows about Unknown.
Their discussion will have to be put on hold as a loud metal sound was heard down the hall. A frightened Xiaoyu cowers behind Jin for protection as everyone else glares at the latest threat. An armored hand grips the wall corner that pulls the rest of its knightly body into their sights, glaring at them with its scary green eyes. And if that wasn't scary enough, a fatter demonic knight is spotted creeping up to them from behind.
"AAAAAH! ZOMBIE KNIGHTS!" Xiaoyu screamed, noticing they are surrounded.

Jin and Angel waste no time embarrassing the demons with one punch that knocks them flat on their butts. The knights shapeshift back to their original, pathetic forms that reveal to everyone that they are just two photographer ghosts: Su, the fat ghost, and Uh, the skinny ghost. "Just ghosts." Jin noted calmly.
Su hurries to check on his fellow ghost and see if he's alright. Uh gets up looking fine, much more concerned about the pictures they snapped with their cameras. The ghostly duo love taking pictures of scared people, with the exception of when they're the scared people in the photographs. Which is what they took by accident amidst their defeat. They look pretty happy at their scared photos of Xiaoyu. A happiness that is immediately replaced with fear at the sight of an infuriated Xiaoyu glaring down at them, followed by Ghost Rider both tying and pulling them toward his much scarier face with his chain. "Talk. Or this ghost will burn your fear into a picture." Ghost Rider threatened them.
A moment later, the depressed Ghost Duo lead the heroes into a secret room that's hiding a bigger secret. Uh opens a strange door that reveals nothing but a Warp Ring that can transport someone to one of the Cross Worlds in the Crossverse. "A Warp Ring." Strange noted.
"Unknown set this up for a meeting. Am I right?" Jin asked the ghosts, with their nods revealing they are in cahoots with Unknown.
The heroes are ready to enter the Warp Ring and finally found out Unknown's true intentions. But of course, an unexpected factor has begun to stop their plans. A loud noise is heard from the ceiling. And whatever it belongs to, it sounds like it is crashing through floors to find them.
"What now?! Are you trying to scare us again?" Xiaoyu angrily confronted the ghosts, who deny her accusations in a fright.
BGM-Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition OST-Theme of Evil Ryu
Crashing down from the ceiling out of nowhere is Ghost Tarantula, landing between the heroes and the Warp Ring and unleashing a terrifying, "GROOOOOOOOOOOAAAAR!", that scares the screaming Ghost Photographers to hide behind the glaring Xiaoyu.
"Scarlet Spider!?" Strange exclaimed in horror by his dark transformation.
"Another Spirit of Vengeance?" Ghost Rider commented with slight surprise.
Kaine snarls and growls at a tireless rate. His dark emotions growing ever stronger over him that forces him to exchange glares with a rival in a similar state. Jin Kazama. "…Kazama…KILL YOU!" Ghost Tarantula roared, launching a flaming lunge that Jin is ready to counterattack with his electricity.

Their clash erupts a loud explosion that anyone outside the mansion can hear. Officer Wally Layton being the lone witness, standing near a dead cherry blossom tree while waiting for Jaune's Group to rendezvous with him. "What was that?" Layton wondered.
BGM-Sonic Colors OST-Yacker's Plea
Suddenly, the officer is spooked by a beautiful female ghost casually flying past him. Her name is Lah, the childish ruler of Mystic Kuroyuri. Since the Convergence, this giggling ghost has spent all of her time exploring this merged village and having fun with it to by phasing through building and playing with whatever she can find, dangerous or not. "Freeze! Don't move!" Layton demanded, pointing his gun at her. Lah finally notices him and doesn't take him seriously at all. She's more interested in playing with the gun in his hand. Casually with a smile, she phases through his body to steal it, giving him the shivers that didn't last upon him noticing her trying to figure out how the gun works. "Hey hey hey, that's not a toy! Give that back!" Layton repeatedly tries and fails to retrieve his gun because of her intangibility, giving her enough time to accidently pull the trigger. Thankfully no one was hurt, leaving Lah confused and an annoyed Layton swiping the weapon away, with her retaliating by blowing a raspberry. "I do not get paid for this." He sighed.
Just then, Jaune's Group finally arrive in the Zone thanks to Virid's teleportation magic. "Greetings, Lieutenant Layton. Who is your new friend?" Tiki happily greets her friend.
"One of the new residents that likes to give kids a scare." Layton snarked, while Lah curiously inspects the new arrivals.
"I remember Sonic mentioning a ghost like this one." Knuckles vaguely recalled.
"She seemed to have spook you a bit." Dark Pit smirked, annoying the officer.
"Hi, my name is Hummingbird. Wanna be my new friend?" Hummingbird smiled, levitating to greet the adorably confused ghost.
"What is wrong with you?! Why are you being so casual with this?! She's a GHOST!" Naoto Kurogane loudly retorted.
"I want a ghost friend. I never made a ghost friend before." Hummingbird responded innocently.
"Isn't Scarlet technically a ghost, you know, because he's the Ghost Tarantula?" The confused Jaune questioned.
"Eh, he's more of a werewolf possessed by a ghost." Rouge quipped.
"He does seem to be the nightly type." Luna Snow said, adding to the joke.
"The Ghost Were-Spider. Hey, that sounds pretty awesome." Dante smiled proudly.
The Ghost Tarantula sounds intriguing to Lah in the midst her pondering, and she seems to have taken an instant liking to Hummingbird. Happily, she seals their newfound friendship with a handshake. "Yay! I just made a new friend!" Hummingbird celebrated.
"Friends with ghosts. This week just keeps getting weirder." Naoto tiredly snarked.

The mood switches to gloomy upon Knuckles approaching Ren and Nora. The two have been looking mournful ever since their arrival, staring beneath a building that holds some significance to them. Looking like a decent hiding spot for the brave. "Looks like Mystic Haunt fused with your old hometown." Knuckles said to them, recalling a brief mission they had at Ren's hometown with Thor during the Goblin War.
"…Kuroyuri." Ren proclaimed sternly.
"This is where Ren found me…before the Nuckelavee attacked." Nora frowned, triggering a flashback of when she and Ren were kids. Of when Grimm led by a Nuckelavee attacked Kuroyuri. Killing countless people. That includes Ren's family.
"It killed my parents, destroyed my home, and took everything from me. I don't want Kaine to become that same monster." Ren scowled, feeling his rage boiling from recalling those painful memories.
"He is like how I was. So scared and so alone. I want to be by his side. I don't want to repeat what my mother and the Jackal did." Nora said sympathetically, clenching her fist with determination as she declares, "I won't!"
"Where is he?" Tiki asked upon approaching Layton.
"In there. Heard an explosion right before you showed up." Layton answered, pointing at the haunted mansion.
"Then we must move. You should leave." Tiki suggested to him.
"No, I'm staying. Scarlet's my friend. We've faced death together. I know he hated me being his cheerleader, but that's only because I've seen the kind of hero he is. Can't let any good man suffer. Not alone, at least." Layton expressed, believing in his hero like a father believes in his son.
"You're a good man, Wally. Just be careful." Tiki smiled.
Another explosion was heard from the mansion. This time visible to the heroes. "What the-?!" The surprised Layton exclaimed. Five individuals are seen being smashed out of the building and crashing near Jaune's Group. All of them are recognizable, as they are Jin Kazama and his team of multiversal heroes.
"Doctor Strange!" Tiki exclaimed, rushing to aid the injured sorcerer.
Su and Uh flee from the mansion next, scared out of their minds from what they just experienced. They cower behind Lah, who just scratches her head at them with confusion. "Are these your friends?" Hummingbird asked the ghost girl. Lah replies with a nod before slapping her pawns out of their fright, demanding a fearsome explanation for them being scaredy-cats.
"Lady Tiki…It would appear we were too late to prevent Scarlet Spider's corruption." Strange grunted.
BGM-Tekken: Blood Vengeance OST-Devil
All eyes are on Ghost Tarantula walking out of the mansion all imposingly with his spider-legs. He gets off them to gather his hellflame and unleash them as a bursting shockwave accompanied by his monstrous roar, "GRAAAH!", igniting the tarsus of his flaunting spider-legs to enhance his intimidation.
Lah's eyes turn into hearts the moment she noticed Ghost Tarantula, instantly falling in love with the badass arachnid. Much to the chargin of her ghost flunkies. "Scarlet Spider!" Layton exclaimed, horrified by the demonic look of his hero.
"Jin's here too!" Heihachi proclaimed, noticing his grandson rushing alone to fight Ghost Tarantula.
"Wha?! No way! Heihachi?! What happened to you?!" Xiaoyu asked, confused by his young appearance.
"I've regained my youth. Just goes to show I've still got what it takes to beat you young kids!" Heihachi retorted with a bragging laugh.
"Not the time to boast, grandpa!" Nora snarked.
"Why is Scarlet after Jin? Those two just met." Pyrrha wondered, watching Jin's punches being effortlessly deflected by Ghost Tarantula.
"The Devil Gene and the Spirit of Vengeance must be reacting to each other." Ghost Rider claimed, just as one of Jin's punches outright misses the evasive spider.
"Another Ghost Rider?" Noel noticed the demon hunter.
"The original. Thought I sensed the awakening of another. Just wasn't expecting this. The evil of Jin Kazama and the innocent blood that has stained this town are what is giving his Demon Spirit strength over him. In turn, his own evil energy is overwhelming the Devil Gene." Ghost Rider explained, while Jin is punched then stomped to the ground, before Kaine stabs his body with his spider-limbs.
"Is that how Jackal awakened him?" Jaune commented, realizing Ogre's own evil energy is what triggered Kaine's transformation.
Meanwhile, Kaine knocks Jin to one of the nearby rooftops with a savage kick like he was a soccer ball. The demon spider leaps after him, spitting out a web blast that pins the fighter long enough to be brutally stomped down until the whole building collapses. Jin is left panting on the ground, too weak to move and way too outmatched by the devilish arachnid walking around taunting him, "Where's your power…? I promised that I would surpass your Devil…"
Both Kaine's overwhelming evil and the threat of death are beginning to have an effect on Jin. His Devil Gene is having a painful reaction to them that he can't suppress for long, prompting a concerned Viridi to shout, "Not good! His Devil Gene is about to explode!"
"JIN!" Xiaoyu shouted whilst rushing to his aid.
"No, stop!" Dante chases after her for her protection. But then a giant slimy hand appears from the ground to smack them, forcing Dante to tackle Xiaoyu to safety. "Who the hell?!" He exclaimed, just as Unknown makes her presence known to everyone in the area.
"Her again!" Ghost Rider throws his chain at her, who swiftly catches it to pull him into her wall-summoning Riai Gokumon throw. Dante tags in, and despite his best efforts, can't land a hit on the mysterious fighter that parries him with her Inner Torment technique before knocking him down with the White Mountain move that looked awfully familiar to Heihachi.
"Kazama Style? And that face…It couldn't be!" Heihachi commented with an interested look.
"You know her?" Angel questioned him about Unknown's true identity.
"Possibly. But the woman I'm thinking of is long dead." Heihachi stated, confusing everyone.

Unknown's arrival and origin are of no importance to Ghost Tarantula. His snarling bloodlust is focused solely on Jin Kazama still struggling to get off the floor across from him. "Guess you couldn't master Spirit Control in time…Just like Jinpachi Mishima…How pathetic to think you can defeat me after giving in to the Devil." Jin taunted his spider-rival, comparing his current state to his deceased great-grandfather.
"Give in…? None of you understand…This soul was MADE a devil…Enjoyed bathing in the fires of Hell…Only briefly tricked by mortals that think he can be anything but…I am his destiny unshackled!" Ghost Tarantula claimed monstrously, disturbing Kaine's friends with this.
"In that case, I'll take on his friends' burden and destroy you as promised." Jin scowled.
"No, Jin!" Jaune protested fiercely.
"Fine…This is not a fight for weaklings." Ghost Tarantula accepted his challenge.
BGM-Tekken: Blood Vengeance OST-Collapse
"Yes…It's time I put an end to this…For good…!" Jin declared just as a demonic blue aura is overwhelming his body. His heart rate goes crazy, and his eyes turn gold, all as his very soul gives into the Devil Gene.
"JIN, STOP THIS!" Xiaoyu shouted, not wanting him to succumb to his inner devil too.
"KAZAMA!" Shadow the Hedgehog shouted as well.
Their voices fail to reach Jin in the midst of his devilish transformation. This Devil Jin is looking different from before. Perhaps because of the Anti-Convergium spreading far in his blood. His skin become plated with dark blue armor while his clothes burst apart. He stands up looking more monstrous, hulking and brutish than normal, rivaling Ghost Tarantula's own terrifying look. The black wings of ruin then sprout from his back that complete his berserker design, earning a savage grin from Kaine who is eager to destroy him.
"So that's the Devil Gene's true form." Doctor Strange commented, while his allies dread the full-powered battle between two demons from two worlds.
"Such power…Spider and Mishima…Cursed bloodlines…ALL PREY TO DEVOUR!" Ghost Tarantula declared maliciously.
"GRAAAAAH!" The transformed Devil Beast Jin roared, having become nothing more than a feral beast similar to Kaine. Within an instant, he fires a powerful Devil Beam that forces his rival to flee while his wild power is decimating Mystic Kuroyuri. He continues firing forehead blasts that Kaine swings away from before the two rush at each other fistfirst in midair, colliding flames and electricity with such tremendous force that it splits the dark sky in two. Jin throws a punch to his face, retaliated by Kaine stabbing his body with his spider-limbs, only for Jin to strike back by using his new tail to grab then throw him through multiple buildings. The last building he crashed into explodes from his flaming spider-limbs being prehensile all of a sudden and extending their reach far and crazy just to attack Jin, only for the devil child to swerve through them all just to attack Kaine up close and personal. A swift impaling counter with his wrist stinger puts a stop to that plan, just for Jin to forehead blast his face before grabbing it and throwing him across the Zone. Whilst sliding backwards, Kaine catches his foe with a webline and proceeds to rodeo him through the environment. The roaring Jin tries freeing himself by firing his lasers wildly, further destroying Ren's old home and placing all his friends in mortal danger.
"FIND COVER!" Jaune shouted at everyone to retreat from the chaotic battle.
Lah didn't want to retreat as she's still lovestruck by Kaine, forcing Hummingbird to drag her to safety with Su and Uh tagging along. Unknown stays behind to spectate the match with those ever-mysterious eyes of hers. Ghost Tarantula finally got sick of rodeoing his rival and throws him into the air to torment him with another surprise move. He uses his demon powers to summon spiders from Hell that he commands with just a thought to swarm Devil Jin. Millions of tiny fiery arachnids that are utterly relentless in raiding Jin's personal space, enraging the devil berserker into blowing them all away with a monstrous roar that also sounds like bad news to Kaine. Devil Jin proceeds to swoop under the spider and propel him into the air, where he flies through him multiple times at lightning speed before smashing him back down with a devastating forehead laser.
That last raging attack really hurt Ghost Tarantula. So far, Devil Jin is the only one to match his strength blow-for-blow and has a chance at defeating him. He won't accept this. He's too angry to make that decision. He stands back up to confront the descending Devil, roaring, "I'll KILL YOU, Kazama!", which is countered by Jin's devilish laugh before the two get started with round two.

"Have to admit, their power is impressive. What I wouldn't do to have it for myself." Heihachi commented on the explosive battle between the demons, smiling deviously in the midst of his group watching from afar.
"You're nuts! Those two are out of control! We need to do something!" Layton retorted.
"I promised Kazama his death if he lost control. But the Unknown's presence complicates things." Ghost Rider reminded himself.
"We have to stop them. Even…Even if they have to…" Jaune scowled, frustrated with his conflicting emotions that are considering the idea of killing his two friends if it'll save everyone else.
"Don't. We still have a plan, remember?" Noel reminds him of her Power of the Eye, which wasn't successful in calming his thoughts.
"Regardless of the method, we must put a stop to their rampage before their bout destroys the city." Strange said calmly.
Alarmingly, Omega's sensors detect a new threat that he announces to everyone, "Warning: Multiple enemy signatures approaching."
"I can sense them too. This bloodlust…" Ren scowled, sensing this danger with his new Telepathy Cross Art.
BGM-Project X Zone 2 OST-The Buzz of Shadows
Appearing from portals to confront the heroes is an army of Ogre Clones. All led by the original Ancient Ogre with the facial scar he gained from his recent fight with Ghost Tarantula. Both Uh and Su are startled by the sudden appearance of this demonic army, in contrast to Lah being more annoyed by the unwanted company. "Ogres! But one of them's green." Xiaoyu exclaimed, quickly striking a fighting pose against the demons.
"That one is the original revived by Jackal. His numbers are much stronger than all his clones combined." Naoto scowled, using his Eye of the Hunter to scan Ogre Prime's life power.
"You better believe it." quipped The Jackal, appearing as well in his mutated form to confront his enemies. "Been a while, class. How are you enjoying your field trip through hell?" He taunted them with a maniacal smile.
"Jackal…!" Jaune snarled, struggling to control his own growing hatred for the man responsible of turning his spider-friend into a monster.
"I see Jin Kazama has awakened too. He's as much of a monster as my creation. Curious about daddy." Jackal commented, glancing back at Devil Beast Jin holding his own against Ghost Tarantula.
"In my opinion, he's more of a bastard than you." Heihachi scoffed.
"Answer me, Jackal. Why the interest in Kazama and I?" Shadow questioned him with a threatening glare.
"You're two little devils from two different worlds hiding incredible power, much like the wannabe Scarlet Spider. Your DNA will help me perfect my clone army, while your souls will push this Ogre to the pinnace of evolution." Jackal answered gleefully, gesturing to Ogre Prime beside him.
"And what do you intend to do with all that power?" Angel questioned him next.
"I'm a supervillain. What do you think? I'm also a gentleman fulfilling his end of a bargain." Jackal snarked cryptically.
"A bargain? Tell us with who." Tiki demanded.
Upon recognizing the manakete, Jackal retorts, "What the-?! The dragon girl?! You're still alive?! I could've sworn I saw Ogre steal your soul!", with a tone mixed with surprise and great confusion.
"Countless have tried to extinguish my flame in 3000 years. Allow me the honor to demonstrate to you how they fell." Tiki threatened with a scary glare, transforming into her dragon form that desires payback for what he has done to her boyfriend.
Intimidated, Jackal tries hiding it with this retort, "No old scaly hag can intimidate the master of immortality! I'll just have to kill you all over again! Ogre!" He calls in the Fighting God but gets no response. Ogre Prime is too distracted having a staring contest with Unknown. They seem to share a strange connection. Almost as if they know each other from a past that once brought them into conflict. "HEY!" Jackal shouted furiously to regain his attention, "I know Toshins aren't deaf! KILL THEM ALL AND TAKE SHADOW'S SOUL!"

BGM-Tekken Tag Tournament 2 OST-Utmost Limits (Naraku)
Ogre finally acknowledges his resurrector and faces the dimensional heroes readying themselves for a fierce fight. "73B#X23%!" Ogre said alienly, commanding his clones to attack the STRIKE Force.
The heroes are quick to counterattack against the Ogre Clones, with Shadow targeting Ogre Prime specifically. He fires off explosive Chaos Spears that do nothing to the alien demon and his Spin Dash barely pushes him back after being caught by a single hand. Ogre Prime then crushes him with that bare hand, brutally, before using that same strength to slam him into the ground. He wants to continue with the pummeling but is caught off-guard by Doctor Strange and his Crimson Bands of Cyttorak that pulls him into an electrified punch from Heihachi. It's now the King of Iron Fist versus the God of Fighting in a brief, yet incredibly intense duel. Flames and lightning clash, and when Ogre tries grabbing his opponent to absorb his power, Heihachi stops his hand in time with a smirking, "You're not stealing my power again!", before knocking him back with a powerful headbutt. Ogre recovers swiftly to evade Nora's leaping hammer slam. Then he taps into the absorbed Shang-Chi soul to utilize his Wushu fighting style, performing some hand gestures before moving like a phantom that attacks Nora, Heihachi, and Strange with skillful chi-powered strikes. Before delivering a finishing blow to Nora, Shadow intercepts with his Chaos Control to kick away his punch and moves aside for Nora to blast him with her grenade launcher.
"I have no soul to take, Ogres. That's what make me invincible!" Omega boasted, bombarding all the demons in his sights with missiles while Ghost Rider, Xiaoyu, and Naoto cover his blindspots.
Layton struggled in fending off one Ogre Clone with his pistol until Hummingbird came with the assist. She mounts the clone by his shoulders and grabs his head to better afflict him with her telepathy, effectively controlling the demon in fighting off his own kind. Lah saw that and was left impressed by her human friend, gesturing at her admirers to help out. Su and Uh reluctantly agree to help the heroes and grab each other's hand that erupts in green flames. Next thing Hummingbird saw is a massively green ox-like ghost ramming through several Ogres. He is Baker, the ghostly fusion between Su and Uh, being rode on by an elated Lah. "Awesome! Let's keep this up!" Hummingbird smiles at her ghost friends, with the nodding Baker acknowledging her.
Severa just got done killing some Ogre Clones when she noticed several more rushing toward the fearsome battle between Ghost Tarantula and Devil Jin. "Some of those things are going for Scarlet and Jin!" Severa announced to her friends.
The winged trio of Angel, Rouge, and Dragon Tiki fly to intercept them. Each of them taking down Ogres one by one until but a few prove too fast to pursue. Before any of them can get any further, however, they are killed by surprise attacks coming from Unknown and her spiky constructions. "She's helping us now?" The curious Angel commented.
"Who IS that woman? I seem to recall her interfering at Kamar-Taj." Jackal said, scowling at the mystery woman that is aligned with no one.
"So she's not another of your experiments?" Jaune retorted, nearly surprising the scientist with a sword slash.
"Not yet. I can tell she's no ordinary human. Perhaps I can use her DNA for something fun." Jackal grinned, backflipping off two Ogre Clones that run to fight Jaune.
Thankfully Luna Snow arrives in time to back him up, freezing the clones for Jaune to shatter. "You're a creep. No wonder the original Scarlet Spider didn't like talking about you." Luna scowled, joining Jaune in fighting Warren.
"Yes, I heard you two were friends. Makes ya wonder where were you when he bit the dust. Too busy remixing 'Tonight' for the 12th time?" Jackal taunted, enraging the popstar to fire her dark ice that he counters by bouncing off a building to kick her down. Jaune throws his shield, only to miss while Jackal smirks, "You missed!". His ego causes him to underestimate Jaune's tactics as his vibranium shield was meant to ricochet across the environment until it strikes the madman when it was too late for his acrobatics to save him, "Right…Forgot you stole our vibranium."
"What do you mean by that?" The suspicious Jaune noted.
"Should've studied before the pop quiz." Jackal snarked before continuing his clash with Jaune and Luna.

Meanwhile, the battle between demons isn't slowing down. In fact, it's ramping up thanks to Ghost Tarantula's next ridiculous action. Using both his arms and his four spider-limbs at maximum strength, he unleashes a mighty roar while lifting up a large building. Devil Beast Jin is airborne, flabbergasted by this. It gets crazier as Kaine rips the building in half to make it easier to throw each massive piece at Jin, who flies past them all before unleashing a massive Devil Beam down at his foe. Kaine counters this by igniting himself and jumping through the beam to hit Kazama with a heavy punch to the face, knocking him off the air while Kaine lands atop a rooftop. "MUUUOOOAAAAARRR! RAAAAAAAAAARRRGH!" Kaine roars proudly at the sky.
Nora heard his roar in the midst of fighting Ogre Prime, muttering, "Kaine…", that triggers her memory of when the Nuckelavee destroyed Kuroyuri. This distracted her from Ogre's Blazing Kick that knocks her far and down, depleting what remained of her Aura as she lies flat and facefirst on the ground.
Ogre stares down at Nora and thinks she's finished. His emotionless expression doesn't change when he notices her hand twitching and sensing her spirit regaining strength, bit by bit. "I get it now…I hate my mom for abandoning me just as much as you hate Jackal. Darkness found you…and Ren found me…If it weren't for him, I would've turned out just like you. Instead…" Solemnly, Nora manages to stand up with her hand holding her hammer and her eyes staring at Ogre, "My life has become dependent on Ren. Don't know how to move forward without him. Your lonely life made me realize…I don't know independence at all. Who is Nora? Just a ditz that's strong and hits stuff? You're a clone of Peter struggling to find his own place in this terrible world…Going as far as to fight family to find the truth. We both must find the answer to self, in our own way…For the people we love."
BGM-RWBY OST-Be Strong and Hit Stuff
A strange multiversal power is forming in Nora's soul before it's made manifest. Ogre Prime senses this and rushes to test it himself, just as Nora's clenching on her hammer sparks mystical yellow electricity enveloping her. "You're NOT the Nuckelavee, Kaine! I KNOW Nora Valkyrie has meaning in this world! You can't choose your family! But you can fight for your FATE!"
Ogre reaches Nora to throw a flaming punch at her, just as she prepares an electrifying counterattack with her hammer. A lightning bolt from the heavens then strikes Nora, changing her within its blinding light that disappears as quickly as it appeared. Her entire outfit has changed to look more Asgardian with a nice black and silver look, complete with a pink waist cape and a helmet that the Valkyries of Asgard would wear. Alongside a mighty war cry, her evolved speed allows her attack to reach Ogre first and strike him with a thunderous swing from her new Uru-infused Magnhild. Her attack sent the Toshin flying through multiple buildings as a blur that amazes her allies that witnessed her sudden transformation. Even Ghost Tarantula makes an unusual moment to acknowledge her. "…Val…kyrie…" The real Kaine speaks from within his demonic form, leaving him wide open to be lunged at by Devil Beast Jin.
"Looks like she awakened her Cross Art as well. The brats are getting stronger with each battle." Heihachi commented, calmly realizing Nora unlocked her own dimensional power just like Pyrrha and Ren before her.
"Are their Convergium Particles resonating with each other? Just like with the Devil Gene and the Spirit of Vengeance?" Shadow wondered.
"The bond they share with their friends must be accelerating their growth. Most applaudable." Strange smiled.
Nora is certainly on a whole another level thanks to her Cross Art. Striking the earth with all her fury, she sends out a wave of summoned lightning through the ground that was evaded by the airborne Ogre at the last second. The ancient demon isn't afraid of her awakened power, just more eager to steal it for himself. But not after thrashing her with his telekinesis that sends her flying toward a building, which triggers another Valkyrie power. Golden feathery wings sprout from her backside that halts her crashing into the building. Amazed by all this, Nora can't help herself from hollering, "WHOOO-HO-HOOO! I'M QUEEN OF THE VALKYRIES! I'M QUEEN OF THE VALKYRIES!", while having an ecstatic flight over the dumbfounded Ren and Knuckles below.
"N-Nora…?" Ren uttered, completely flabbergasted by her Cross Art.
"Oh boy. She just became more of a handful." Knuckles facepalmed.
"I dunno how this happen but I'm LOVING IT! I'm like a super-awesome combo between a Thunder God and a Valkyrie! Brunnhilde would be so proud!" The flying Nora smiled, transforming Uru Magnhild into its grenade launcher form that can now fire high-powered lightning spheres that gives Ogre a decent challenge.
"I swear, I thought Spider-Man was the weirdest student…!" The flabbergasted Jackal comments on the Valkyrie Huntress.

Jackal made the costly mistake of being distracted as this allowed Luna Snow to freeze half of his body, preventing him from moving an inch. As well as giving him no time to flee from Jaune's killing blow. The huntsman leader let out a vengeful roar before reaching and stabbing the madman through the heart. Warren coughs out blood and feels his life slipping away. Scowling directly at his face, Jaune snarls, "This is for the sons you tortured.", believing he avenged the Scarlet Spiders.
Disturbingly though, Jackal just laughs him off. Taunting him by saying this with a smile on his bloody face, "You do remind me of Reilly…Must be the blonde hair…And you're just as stupid as Kaine if you think you can exact vengeance on a clone…" He reveals himself as just a clone, which further angers Jaune. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll meet more of me real soon…" He smiled before disintegrating into ashes on the ground, leaving both Jaune and Luna annoyed that the real Jackal is still out there.
Unknown can see that all the battles around her are winding down. The Ogre Clones are all but vanquished, and Ogre Prime is on the verge of retreating. Then there is the climax between Ghost Tarantula and Devil Beast Jin. Both rivals face each other from across rooftops. Both growing exhausted because of their epic fight. One last decisive attack will determine the winner, and both are getting ready to give it their all with this one.
"…Your power…MINE!" Ghost Tarantula growled, reeling back a fist ignited from an intense volcanic power that's eager to erupt.
"Don't make me laugh. I…am…free…!" Devil Jin speaks up for once, sounding like his human half is regaining control through a fierce spiritual struggle. "I am Jin Kazama! I'm me…! This body that my mother gave me…No one will have it!" He declared, whilst reeling back his own fist gathering the power of a lightning storm.
The demon rivals then rocket at each other, full speed with killer intent and them unleashing simultaneous roars, "RRRAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR!" The final attack is a devastating cross-counter punch to each other's face. The moment they collided, a massive elemental whirlwind of lightning and fire spreads throughout Mystic Kuroyuri Zone, decimating a lot of things in its way. The Ogres and STRIKE included as they were all blown away by the sheer magnitude of their power. In the end, their battle ends in a draw. Ghost and Devil are sent flying and crashing into their own buildings by that cross-counter punch, with said buildings collapsing atop of them.
"Scarlet Spider!" Noel shouted, being among the first to recover from that explosive finale and rush to check if Kaine is okay.
"Hey, wait up!" Layton exclaimed, reaching out for the NOL soldier before following her.
Unknown allows the two to reach for Kaine, as well as allowing Ogre Prime to retreat from the battlefield. Her mysterious task here is all but complete. She shoots a stoic stare at the unconscious Jin Kazama, shirtless and out of the Devil form that he managed to control for a moment through sheer willpower. "…Ji…n…" Unknown speaks for the very first time. Even expressing to him a proud smile before vanishing again.
"Good. He's still alive." Noel said, after checking on the unconscious Ghost Tarantula.
"But that thing still has control over him." Layton noted.
"Not for long if I do this right." Noel said determinedly.
Suddenly, Noel sparks a transformation that startles the Houston officer. Her eyes turn blue and her clothing becomes radically different, now wearing a white jumpsuit underneath a white cloak that emits a mythical aura that is fitting for one codenamed Mu-12, the Godslayer. "The hell…are you?" commented by the shocked Layton, realizing yet quickly accepting that Noel isn't an ordinary human.
BGM-Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions OST-Web of Destiny
Mu-12 places her hand on Kaine's heart before using the Power of the Eye to look beyond his soul. What her Eye finds is a force that rivals the Azure. A Great Web that connects all of space and time together. Unifying the Spider-Totems that protects them, 'I can see it…So this is the Web of Life and Destiny…So many possibilities stretched toward infinity…All relying on Spiders to fix any thread that's broken.' Then her Eye finds the silhouette of a mysterious Spider-Totem that protects the Web. Some kind of Master Weaver that has long taken notice of the Godslayer, 'Who is that? He feels like the Master Unit…What is he showing me…?' The mystery Spider points her to a particular strand regarding a certain Scarlet Spider. Of his sole past that branch to several futures: Two dark, being the Ghost Tarantula that assists in either destroying or conquering the planet in the name of some Red Devil. Two heroic, of him being the Scarlet Spider that protects Houston or laments the tragedies he has caused, 'Kaine's possibilities…Hero or villain. They all don't feel right…Why are his destinies so few?' Then she catches a vision of Human Kaine crucified by webbing and looking totally defeated, This strange feeling…His heart…Have you completely given up? It's so messy, so cold…' Just then, her Eye catches the sight of a spiritual green flame looking lonely in the depths of darkness, 'Yet I can feel a warmth deep inside it. A fire that has helped you survive all this time, even in death, seeking only to evolve beyond everything to protect those close to your heart. If that is what you seek, I will make that place for you.' By connecting with Kaine through her Azure Eye, she manipulates his strand on the Great Web to create an unknown future that only he can forge, 'You and I are like siblings. Never give up. I know you haven't given up. Believe in yourself and look toward the endless possibilities.'
Out of nowhere, Noel catches a very brief vision of Kaine in that unknown future. One of him looking less like a Ghost Tarantula and more of a Spirit Spider, of him in a white spider-suit with a skullhead burning with the indigo color. That shocking vision knocks her out of her Mu form and gets caught by Layton, right before Ghost Tarantula awakens and growling ready to murder his two friends.
"Kaine!" Layton shouted to get him to calm down, which obviously didn't work. "Son." He then tried a more sincere tactic, which instantly did the trick in earning his growling focus. "Just want to let you know…I haven't stopped believing in you. You always called yourself a monster, but whatever you were, whatever you think of yourself…You're a hero. Don't lose sight of the things you wanna protect, alright?" He advised him with a fatherly smile.
Ghost Tarantula doesn't respond. Only subtly acknowledging him before an agonizing headache sparked by his good and evil clashing within forces him to retreat with his fiery teleportation. Layton sighs, both exhausted and glad that he somehow managed to survive this demonic mission. "Are you okay?" Noel asked the officer.
"I'll be fine." Layton assured her.
BGM-Project X Zone 2 OST-Because It's The Right Path
The Jackal and Ogre Clones are dead. Both Ghost Tarantula and Ogre Prime have retreated. And Jin is free from the Devil for now, needing Angel to walk him as the multiversal heroes regroup after that crazy battle. "Think I'll take your advice and head back to the station. I'll trust you guys to take care of that kid for me." Layton said to Tiki, who responds with just a smile.
"What do I look like? A babysitter?" Heihachi snarked.
"Too bad that Jackal was nothing but a fake." Jaune scowled, still frustrated that wasn't able to get his revenge.
"I can sense the soul of the original. It will not be long before he suffers from his sins." Ghost Rider assured him, promising that the real Jackal will pay.
"Before that, we have a Life Seed to collect. Ain't that right, Jin?" Strange proclaimed, turning to the shirtless martial artist.
"Yeah. Ghosts, show us the way again." Jin nodded, tasking Lah and her admirers to return them to the secret room with the Warp Ring. A task that they just comply to without argument.

Shortly After…
BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-Symbiote City 1
The Warp Ring transport the S.T.R.I.K.E Heroes, minus Wally Layton, to some Fallen Garden that feels to have a connection to the Arcadia World. This realm feels beyond dead. It has become corrupted by an Unknown power that has caused the plants to wilt and the water look slimy thick. The heroes, and even the Mansion Ghosts, just couldn't believe what they are walking through as they glance at their hellish surroundings. "Where are we? A garden?" Xiaoyu commented, whilst staring at the twistedly dark sky.
Jin is ahead of the group and the first to grunt at the presence of Unknown standing at the center of this strange place. She seems to have been waiting for them, prompting Xiaoyu to strike a fighting pose and taunt, "Already back for another round, huh?"
"No need. I've already passed her test." Jin calms his best friend.
"What test?" Xiaoyu questioned.
"To check if I'm worthy of the Life Seed. Is that right?" Jin deduced whilst staring at Unknown. Believing that she stole the Life Seed for the sole purpose of testing Jin's strength.
Unknown doesn't respond to him, which is expected from her at this point. Heihachi doesn't know that as he has become too interested in figuring out her true identity. He asks, "I have one question. Are you-?"
"Don't, Heihachi Mishima. There's no need." Jin interrupted him, knowing that he too must've deduced her true identity.
Of course, Heihachi won't listen to anyone but himself and proceeds to ask her the big question that has been bothering the Mishima Clan this whole adventure. "Are you Jun Kazama?" He finally asked.
"Kazama…?" Shadow commented with interest.
"Wasn't that the name of Jin's mom?" Xiaoyu recalled.
"What?!" Jaune exclaimed, sharing his utter shock with the rest of his friends. That Unknown is apparently the mother of Jin Kazama. Jun Kazama. Corrupted and somehow back from the dead.

BGM-Tekken 5 OST- Destined Interlude ~ Sad Conclusion
Unknown responds to all of their questions with utter silence. No emotion is expressed that might be denying their claims of her being Jun. She just vanishes from the realm immediately after. Leaving nothing behind, except for the Life Seed floating gloomily in midair. "Even if it's true…Even so…It wouldn't matter. Only this." Jin frowned, putting his feelings about his mother aside to reclaim the Life Seed he has worked so hard for. "How do I use it?" He turns to Angel approaching him.
"Just have to stab you in the chest with it." Angel answered nonchalantly.
"…Okay. I'm ready." Jin proclaimed, having Angel hold onto the Seed so he could use it on him and destroy his Devil Gene at last.
"Wait! Are you SURE this is the only way? You could forget everything! This could even kill you!" Xiaoyu protested, fearing she'll lose the man she loves.
"If that's the only way to rid this bloodline of the Devil, then so be it. But if I do survive this…I WON'T forget." Jin retorted, giving his friend some hope of his survival.
Xiaoyu stares at her friend with hopeful concern among the rest of her friends that either share her expression or just interested in what comes next. Jin turns to Angel with a face brimming with determination to destroy the Devil. Control it. Or die trying. "Do it." He tells him to use the Life Seed. Angel nods, and without hesitation, stabs the cosmic seed straight into his chest. "GRAAAAARAGHH!" Jin yells out all the pain and absolute agony that he's feeling from the Life Seed merging its energies with his own. Incredible light is bursting out from numerous parts of his body, from chest to his mouth to his very eyes, until it begins to overwhelm all of Fallen Garden.
"JIIIIIIN!" Xiaoyu screamed while running to help him.
"S-S-STAY BACK, XIAO!" Jin shouted at her, as the Life Light becomes so intense that it knocks Xiao back and get her caught by Nora, all before the whole realm is consumed by the blinding light.

BGM-Tekken Tag Tournament 2 OST-What You Will See (Heaven)
The next thing everyone saw is a complete rebirth. Of Fallen Garden. The area is looking more Heavenly than it was a moment ago. The heroes find themselves standing beside a cherry blossom tree on a floating island. There are rainbows all around them, along with peaceful clouds and clear water. Flamingos and deer are suddenly playing around that gives this Heavenly Garden a newfound impression of being in a watercolor painting.
"No way…" Knuckles said, utterly amazed by how the Fallen Garden suddenly became the Heavenly Garden.
"The Garden…It's changed! It can breathe life again. It's been completely reborn." Viridi stated, just as surprised by the Echidna Warrior.
"So this is the power of the Life Seed." Pyrrha commented.
"Amazing. But, what of Jin?" Naoto asked, worried about his friend's fate.
The Young Kazama appears to be okay while resting his head on Xiaoyu's lap. His Tekken 7 Outfit is completely restored and his eyes are struggling to open. "Jin…Are you okay? Please, say something! Do you remember me?" The concerned Xiaoyu asked.
"Am I…?" Jin said upon regaining full consciousness. He then gets up, standing alongside Xiao, Angel, and Heihachi before telling everyone, "…I'm…I'm alright…Xiao…", which relieves everyone to hear that he retained his memories.
"Almost had us worried." Angel chuckles at his devil friend.
"That's good to hear." Heihachi said to his grandson, expressing fake concern that he easily saw through.
"Quit pretending you care about me." Jin threatened.
"If you can speak to me like that, then you haven't changed at all. That's fine." Heihachi laughed.
"I can still sense his Devil Gene." Ghost Rider announced, revealing that even the Life Seed couldn't destroy it somehow.
"Can he control it at least?" Shadow questioned.
"We'll have to wait and see." Doctor Strange replied.

"I can tell that mystery woman didn't have the Devil Gene. Which makes me wonder…" Heihachi commented.
"How she's supposedly Jin's Mom and how she's still alive? Didn't you say she died?" Nora snarked, no longer in Valkyrie Mode.
"Yes. To Ogre several years ago." Heihachi revealed.
"He's been hurting people for that long?" The shocked Noel commented.
"I sympathize with your loss." Ren said to Jin, comparing Ogre to the Nuckelavee that destroyed his own family.
"I doubt your monster was awakened by Heihachi." Jin replied.
BGM-Tekken 5 OST- Destined Interlude ~ Sinister
"What?" Ren retorted, initially with shock before he and everyone else shoot an angry glare at the Mishima that holds some responsibility for Ogre's assault on the Unified World.
"Only did it to get his power. And you had to waste my time by killing him." Heihachi argues with his grandson.
"My mother and so many people lost their lives just so you can become the Ultimate Lifeform!" Jin scowled.
"It's a constant in the multiverse, isn't it?" Rouge teased her Ultimate Lifeform that is Shadow, who is growling with annoyance at the competition.
"Scarlet became a monster because of YOU?" Jaune blames Heihachi, bravely confronting him with a threatening scowl that doesn't faze the Iron Fist King at all.
"Quit with worthless threats, brat, before I make you regret it." Heihachi coldly warns the huntsman, prompting Pyrrha to pull him away before he does something reckless. "Yes, I awakened Ogre. But I have nothing to do with Jackal bringing him back to life now and cloning him for his own plans, or Scarlet Spider losing his mind. The way I see it, destroying his plans is the perfect opportunity to test my own reborn strength." He laughs gleefully despite everyone hating his guts more than ever.
"You are the ABSOLUTE worst person ever!" Knuckles snarked.

"I'll make you pay for your sins later, Mishima." Ghost Rider promised him, before announcing to everyone, "But you're right. You're not to blame for this demonic invasion. Someone else has been using the Spider, Jackal, and Ogre for his own sinister plot. You've figured it out too, haven't you, Strange.", as his gaze turns to the pondering sorcerer.
"Indeed. I've been investigating the perpetrator ever since Scarlet Spider revealed his demon to me. No doubt now…Mephisto is behind all of this." Strange proclaimed.
"That's the same name Hummingbird plucked from Scarlet's mind. Who is he?" Dante asked.
"The Devil. THE Devil. And the Ruler of Hell that loves to play with people's souls." Angel answered grimly.
"Figures." Dante quipped, already not taking Mephisto seriously as a threat.
"Whoa whoa whoa, you mean to tell me we've been dealing with someone like THAT all this time?! How the heck did Scar get involved with someone like him?" Rouge exclaimed with utter shock at the reveal of their true enemy.
"…Can't shake the feeling he didn't have much choice." Shadow grunted, getting the strange sense of déjà vu with their current predicament.
"I can relate. We can't decide how we were born." Jin commented vaguely, starting to sympathize with his spider-rival.
"We have to do something about this right now. If he crawls closer to that dark fate I saw on the Great Web, then he'll help Mephisto destroy the whole world!" Noel said urgently.
"It'll be like the Fell Dragon all over again…" Tiki frowned sadly, fearing for her boyfriend.
"Then it's up to us as the Midnight Sons to strike back at the darkness with our light." Strange declared by assembling everyone present as his new team that fights against the supernatural.
"Reforming the team again?" Ghost Rider teased, having been a Midnight Son in the past.
"The Unknown brought us together for a purpose. I'll place my faith it was for this." Strange explained himself.
"Already attracted me with the name. Where to, Doc?" Nora smiled.
"Hell." Strange answered sternly.
Humorously, Nora had to blink her eyes several times before completely processing what he just said, "…Huh?", while still sounding like she's at a loss for words.
"We must journey to the Netherworld to destroy the source of this invasion that is Mephisto. Answers of the Ghost Tarantula's origin will be discovered there." Ghost Rider explained.
"You are LITERALLY telling us to go to Hell!" Jaune exclaimed by freaking out.
Strange casts the spell that is manipulating spacetime in order to form a rift between Heavenly Garden and Hell itself. "The portal is open." He then announced to his Midnight Sons.
"We are SERIOUSLY NOT going there, are we?!" Naoto protested, freaking out too by how hellish this mission has become.
"Eh. I've invaded Underworlds before." Dark Pit boasted nonchalantly.
"Gawds! The things I do for that bug bastard!" Severa exasperates her sheer frustrations with Kaine.
"Isn't it because you love him?" Hummingbird said so bluntly and innocently.
"W-W-W-Wha-?! NO! That's stupid! I just love kicking his ass!" The blushing Severa denies ferociously at the unfazed psychic, with Tiki chuckling sheepishly at her and Lah looking jealous at the competition for Kaine's heart.
"Let's go." Jin glared, joining this new Midnight Sons in invading Hell and finding Mephisto for answers about his dark relationship with Scarlet Spider.
"Bye, ghost people! Thank you for all the help!" Hummingbird shares a happy goodbye wave with her ghost friends, before leaving them alone in the Heavenly Garden.

Lah is left glad to have befriended Hummingbird, only to freak out and be left dismayed upon realizing she is missing out on the fun in Hell. Su and Uh try cheering her up with flowers they plucked from the garden. It doesn't work as their arguing over who gives her a flower first quickly becomes an all-out fight between them, boring Lah to the point of her leaving them behind in this realm as she returns to Mystic Kuroyuri Zone.

KFX Here: The Midnight Sons have finally been formed to take on Mephisto's dark plans for the Unified World. A few things for you all to note. Devil Jin's berserker form in this chapter is based on that same hulking form he took in the movie, Tekken: Blood Vengeance. As for Nora Valkyrie, her new Cross Art costume is based on Valkyrie's from the movie, Thor: Love and Thunder. I'll go more into her new power in a bit. Thought it'd be fun to add the ghosts from Sonic: Night of the Werehog into this, to give this chapter some levity. Also, I've started brainstorming for the Spider-Man/Persona 5 crossover that I've grown interested to do. Anyone has any suggestions on the general plot/setting? PM me if you have ideas. Would appreciate it.
