Chapter 6: Training To The Top, Like A Warrior
[Location: Dagobah Beach]
[Time: Two Weeks Before UA Exams]
Since Izuku's last day in Aldera, Inko decided to pull her son out of the entire school program and put him through online school till high-school starts. Because of this, Izuku was able to learn so much more on his own time at a much faster pace. This also gave him more time to train, which Bardock took full advantage of, pushing the boy harder physically and mentally.
All-Might was soon told of Izuku's actions, and All-Might let out a great laugh, telling Izuku that was the most hilarious thing he has ever heard in years. But he quickly told the boy that letting his emotions do the driving always ends in disaster, and to learn from this, he needs to keep his emotions in check. Izuku promised All-Might that he will make sure to control his emotions better.
For Izuku's new training, Bardock put focus on Izuku's mastery of energy control, because once he has control over his own energy, he can use it to increase his physical to new heights he wouldn't be able to achieve with regular training. This also allowed Izuku to learn various abilities through mastery his energy control.
Flight:
[Location: Dagobah Beach]
[Time: A Week After The Incident]
Bardock wanted to teach Izuku how to fly, so after Izuku was able to hold a ball of energy for more than an hour, he began to teach the greenette how to fly, but unlike the energy ball test, Izuku was finding this part of his training extremely difficult.
"I don't understand Mr. Bardock? How am I supposed to fly without any wings or suit? I just don't understand any of this." Izuku asked, trying his hardest to understand what Bardock was trying to teach him.
"Dammit kid! You're smart enough to figure this out. And for the last time, you fly with your own energy! Just push it up from your stomach, and then you just let your body do the rest." Bardock said, annoyed that the kid was unable to do something that was as simple as flying.
"B…but, shouldn't you tell me exactly how this whole flying thing actually works? How pushing my own energy up wpuld make me fly. And why do I need to let my body to the rest? Isn't that dangerous?" Izuku mumbled, but Bardock's patience finally broke and he decided to do this the hardway.
Without Izuku realising, Bardock grabbed the back of his training armour, and just as fast, flew them both high into the sky, where they easily passed the clouds by a couple hundred feet.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Izuku screamed for dear life, holding tight onto Bardock's arm.
"Listen up kid! After the count of 3, I am going to let go and you will have to figure out how to fly on your own! If you don't, then you won't be seeing your mother again!" Bardock barked, scaring Izuku more.
"W..ww.w…what?! You're insane! I don't know how to fly! How is this going to help me fly?!" Izuku yelled in fear, unable to process everything that was going on.
"One…" Bardock started counting, which made Izuku freak out even more, pleading for Bardock to stop this, but Bardock continued, making his panicking heart even more panicked.
"Please master! Don't do this! I want to live! I don't want to di…i..ieee!" Izuku tried to plead with Bardock one last time, but his master's evil grin showed his pleading words meant nothing to him.
"If you want to live, then you better learn how to fly. One." With that, Bardock let go, watching Izuku fall to the beach at great speeds.
Izuku never believed his master would ever betray him like this, but seeing Bardock actually letting go stunned him, his face felt like a rock with how still it was.
("He… he actually let go. Wait, he let go!) AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Izuku's brain finally processed that he was heading towards certain death, seeing the beach approching fast.
Seeing no way to survive this drop, he knew he had to learn how to fly or he wouldn't see his mother and All-Might again.
"I need to focus! Push my energy up. Push my energy up and let my body do the rest. Pish it up and let my body do the rest." Izuku chanted the words Bardock told him to follow.
Following those orders, he concentrated his energy inside him, and pushed it up from his position, but he didn't feel his descent decrease.
("Why isn't it working?! I pushed my energy up, so why isn't it working?!") Izuku was terrified, the ground was getting closer, and he didn't understand why his body wasn't doing anything
Looking at the ground, Izuku's decided to do something stop his falling decent, and that was to punch the air hard enough it creates a shockwave that it will stop his decent before he becomes a puddle of blood and organs. So with his olan in motion, he pulled his arm back, pouring all his energy into his arm, most likely breaking it, but to save his life, he rather go without an arm then not be alive.
("Just need to time this right. Any second late and I can save goodbye to my life. Just need to concentrate.")
With all his focus on timing his punch right, he didn't notice his energy slowly leaking out from his hand, but this leakage of energy is what will save him, as Izuku's approch to the ground was now seconds away, Izuku threw his punch, yelling to the top of his lungs,
"TEXAS SSSMMAAAAAAASSSHHHH!!!" Izuku's punch was not as great as one of All-Might's punches, but it did what he wanted to do, and the force of his punch negated the force of gravity that was pulling his down, along with the nearby sand around him being blow away and up from him, creating a wide, but no deep crater around him.
Izuku, feeling how painful his arm was, waited to fall to the ground so Bardock cpuld bring him to a hospital to patch up his arm, but he realised he wasn't falling anymore.
("W…what the?") Izuku thought, puzzled as to why he was just seeing sand.
"Haha! I knew you woupd do something stupid, but I didn't expect you to sacrifice you arm and use it to fly!" Bardock fllating down from his position in the sky, laughing with prideful triumph.
"W…what? Why aren't I falling anymore?" Izuku asked, still not understanding why he wasn't falling anymore.
"Can't you tell? You're flying! You cut it close, but you still saved yourself from becoming a bloody pancake, so well done." Bardock congratulated Izuku, which finally made Izuku look around.
Izuku's eyes widened to see he was flying, from his hand, as even though the bones were fractured and muscels were nefintly destroyed, he could feel most of his energy still pooled inside it, which is what was keeping him off the ground.
"Wait?! I know why I can fly!" Izuku exclaimed, getting Bardock curious.
"Oh, please indulge me? I would love to hear your explination" Bardock asked, curious to how his pupil came to that point.
"When I tried pushing my energy up, I was waiting for my body to do something, but nothing happened. But aftwr I pooled it all into my hand, some of it must of leaked out, created a bubble around my arm, and I think I am able to float here now is because my body is no longer tense, which may be how I am off the ground." Izuku summarised his explination, his intact hand on his chin.
"But I might not be good enough to try both flying and fighting simultaneously, so if I practise more with my energy control, then I can…" Izuku began to ramble even morw, which made Bardock only shake his head..
("And there he goes again. Still can't understand how he can mumble that fast.") Bardock thought, fully used to Izuku's mumbling sprees atter spending all this time with him.
Energy Senseing:
[Location: Masutatsu Downtown]
[Time: A Month After The Incident]
Izuku was walking through downtown, just finished his shopping for his mother. He was walking down the street to the train station to head back home, looking at the news to see if there was anything interesting that happened that day. He found some articels about Dagobah being cleaned and interviews from the locals who were appriciative of the work done for their precious beach. But there were some rumors going around in the comments under these articles about strange occurences happening in the area, which Izuku definitly knew was from him and Bardock sparring. Sometimes they can get carried away with their training.
That Izuku felt the hairs on his back stand up, feeling like a cold breeze some how poured down his back. Looking around, he wondered if it was tte wind he felt, but then the feeling began to seep further into his body. This wasn't a stupid prank from the wind, but something else. Izuku didn't know why, but whatever he felt, it felt malicious, almost evil.
Tuning out the people around him, he tried to use brief training of energy sensing his got from Bardock, trying to feel out energies of the people around him. Bardock told him to spread out his energy like he was trting to reach out his hand, and then when his energy touches someone else's energy, he could feel everything about it, from its power, how much there is of it, and how pure or corrupted it was.
When he spread his energy out around him, actively trying to not get overwhelmed by the hundreds of energy signatures around him, he was able to identify one that was out of the ordinary. Without hesitation, he made his way towards it.
Following the energy, he was led to a construction site, crew already gone or on break. Feeling out for the energy once more, Izuku can easily feel the evil presence inside, as the energy he was feeling felt heavy, dark and almost, broken.
Taking small steps inside, Izuku made sure to keep his guard up, incase someome tried to sneak up behind him. Though he didn't need to, as he could only feel this one evil energy inside, but it was best to keep on guard just incase, because his energy sensing was still not be as good as his master's were, and he can feel the energies of people across the globe.
Slowly moving in, Izuku looked through the building, making sure to be as quiet as possible. When he reached the second floor, he could hear noises of some kind of game, but not being into games, he didn't recognise what game it was.
Following the sound, it was obvious the evil energy inside this building was where the sound was, so Izuku made sure to keep his guard up.
Reaching the room he believed the noise was coming from, Izuku carefully poked his head around the corner, and what he saw was an adolescent man, maybe mid to early 20's, with unkempt blue hair and dirty black clothes, playing on some handheld gaming consols, laying on a dirty bean bag, sweets and snacks littering the area around him. His voice was also as unpleasant as everything else about him, sounding like giving nails acroas a chalkboard a voice box.
Izuku could easily feel the evil energy coming off the man, and Izuku was puzzled as to what he should do. Should he leave the man alone, or should he contact the police and have this man arrested for trespassing, but he'll be questioned as to why he was somewhere he shouldn't be.
"You're too loud, and it is annoying." The man's voice spoke and when Izuku looked up, previously in a muttering spree, he saw the man's hands inches from his face.
Thanks to Bardock's training, Izuku was able to react and dodge the surprise attack, causing the man to fumble forwards. He had to catch himself on the side of the doorway, but to Izuku's horror, the area the man's hands held onto started to corrode and fall apart.
The man quickly removed his hand before the building could fall, and he turned around to Izuku, showing his face was as unkempt as his hair.
"Stupid brat. You're faster than you look. Cool quirk. But it doesn't matter, Kurogiri!" The man cursed Izuku, scratching his neck vigorously, like he was about to peel off his skin.
Then Izuku saw a purple mist form near him and the man, and the man moved his hand into his own mist. Izuku already knew what this mist was and he ducked, having the man's hand miss him.
"Stop moving!" The man shouted, removing his hand from the portal and decided to charge Izuku directly.
"You may be fast, but you're still a kid! Now die!" The man's speed was impressive from Izuku point of view, but it was obvious this man never actually fought in his life and solely relied on his quirk.
Izuku used this to his advantage, allowing the man to approach him, but as soon as he came into striking range, Izuku bent down and hurled his elbow deep into the man's stomach, who hunched over from the pain of the attack.
With the man fully stunned, Izuku grabbed the man's wrists and pulled them back. Then he forced the man onto the ground, keeping his hand pulled back so he didn't do anything drastic.
"W…who the hell are you?" the man questioned, still in pain from Izuku's previous attack.
"I could ask you that. Are you a villain?"
Izuku asked, pulling the man's arms harder. That was when Izuku's nerves was attacked by another energy signature, one that was a lot weaker than the man's, but it still held malicious intent.
"Get away from the young master!" The purple mist, now appearing much larger and with glowing yellow eyes appeared behind Izuku, engulfing both him and the man completely.
But just before the mist could transport him to somewhere unfamiliar, Izuku let loose the man and moved away. When he looked back to the mist, he saw it slowly disappear, with the man also dissapearing with it.
"Who was that? And why did they both have such evil energies?" Izuku thought, feeling a little sick from how evil both their energies felt.
"Hey, kid, you alright?" Izuku heard a voice he knew very well, smiling and looking to see Bardock in one of the window frames.
"Mr. Bardock! You're here!" Izuku yelled, happy to see his mentor after that ordeal.
"Yeah, I'm here? What was all that? This isn't another blonde brat incident, is it?" Bardock asked and Izuku told Bardock what had happened.
"A guy with a quirk to destroy anything he touches and a teleportation quirk. Quite the combination. You were lucky you got out of there alive. If it weren't for my training and your sharp thinking, you would be dead." Bardock told Izuku, fascinated by the uniqueness of the pair's quirk.
"I know, I'm just afraid they'll show up again." Izuku told Bardock about his worries.
Bardock waved off Izuku's concerns, saying the odds of meeting them again are slim to none, so he doesn't have to worry.
"Now, let's get you home. Your mother will be worried." Bardock told Izuku, who nodded, grabbing the bags he dropped and followed Bardock out of the window, using this opportunity to improve his flying skills.
Telekinesis
[Location: Midoriya's Apartment]
[Time: 2 And A Half Months After The Incident]
It was early in the morning, and Izuku was already up, getting ready for his morning routine. Breakfast, brush teeth, and a quick work out before he starts his studies for a couple hours.
Izuku was feeling cereal today, so he opened the cupboards to find his favourite brand of Cereal; All-Might sponsored of course, but they weren't in the cupboards.
"Mum, where are my All-Might cereal?!" Izuku asked his mother, who from her room said they were on top of the fridge.
Izuku looked to see if she was right and went to grab them, but they were too far from him to reach.
("Stupid short body. Why didn't I get my dad's height?") Izuku cursed his short stature, hoping he will get a growth spurt in his life.
Izuku kept reaching for his cereal, but it was always too far away from him. When he was able to stretch his fingers over the edge, he only succeeded in pushing the box further back.
"Hey Izuku, is everything alrigh?" Inko popped her head around the corner, seeing her son struggling to reach the cereal box.
Inko chuckled a little, lifted her hand up to use her quick to bring the box closer, but before she was able to activate her quirk, the cereal box flew over the fridge edge, and Izuku quickly caught it before it fell to the ground.
"Ah! Thanks mum." Izuku thanked his mother for using her quirk, pickinf himself off the floor.
"I…Izuku, that wasn't me." Inko said, just as confused as Izuku after hearing her words.
Izuku was looking at the box of cereal and questioned how it was possible the box slipped over the edge of the fridge.
"I…Izuku. I think… I think you did it." Inko gave an explanation to how the cereal box was knocked off, but Izuku said he couldn't have, because he never done anything like that before.
"Izuku, I know this may be a stretch, but, I think you just used a quick?" Inko words made Izuku's head spin.
A quirk. But, he hasn't unlocked OFA yet, and he is supposed to be quirkless. The doctors told him many times before. So why now of all days would his quirk activate? He read up on how quirks manifested, and he found many articles where people awaken their quirks after traumatic scenarios, but how is he not getting his All-Might cereal be traumatic. It sucked, of course, but he wouldn't call it traumatic.
Inko asked if Izuku was aleight, seeing the stress in his eyes, but he gave her a warm smile and told her he was fine, just that he couldn't have used a quirk, because they both know he is quirkless.
"B…but that was just like my quirk. Maybe you had it all along and you just couldn't use it? I wasn't able to use my quirk till I was 7, and your father couldn't use his quirk because his throat wasn't durable enough to withstand his fire. Maybe you are a late bloomer like me?" Inko tried to convince both herself and Izuku that he used a quirk, but Izuku couldn't believe it, even if he wished for it to be true, he just has fully accepted he will be quirkless; with the exception of OFA, for the rest of his life.
Izuku wanted to test if he is able to do it again, and maybe it wasn't done by a quirk, but by using his energy.
Looking around their kitchen, Izuku found a small object to test on, the salt shaker. Placing the cereal box down onto the counter, Izuku stretches his arm out to target the salt shaker. Figuring out how to replicate what he did before, he looked back on what he did before, and he remembered his energy fluxed a little before the box moved, so he tried to do something similar to his energy sensing.
Keeping his eyes closed, he concentrated his energy around his hand, then slowly moved it in front of him, towards the salt shaker. When his energy reached its target, he wrapped his energy around it, completely ingulfing it. Then, he twisted his hand so his palm was facing the ceiling, eith his ring and pinkie finger were closed. He then flicked his index and middle fingers in a quick motion, and as he expected, his energy reacted to this and the salt shaker flew towards him, which he quickly caught in his hand.
"That's, different? Maybe your quirk evolved in some way?" Inko theorised, seeing how different her son pulled objects compared to her, who had to wave her hand in a circular motion.
"Mum, it's not a quirk. I'm using my energy to pull object. It's just like how I'm able to fly and shoot energy blasts." Izuku gently snapped at his mother, then feeling bad for it.
"S…sorry mun, didn't mean to raise my voice. I just..." Izuku apologised, placing the salt shaker back on the counter he pulled it from.
"No, it's okay darling. I just need to accept that you are never going to get a quirk." Inko said, looking down solemnly, holding her hands to her chest.
"Mum. Ever since I started training with Mr. Bardock, you have been acting differently. Why?" Izuku asked, watching his mother's hands shake and tremble.
Inko didn't say anything, but in her mind, she knew she had to tell Izuku what she has been feeling not just for the past months, but for years.
"Izuku, do you know what happened when you asked me if you could still be a hero, even when you were quirkless?" Inko asked her son, and he nodded, remembering how hurt he felt when she said she was sorry.
"Well, ever since that day, I couldn't help but feel like is said the wrong words. I could have told you you could have been a hero, but instead I apologised for not giving you a quirk." Inko said, tears flowing out her eyes.
Izuku didn't understand what his mother just said. Not giving him a quirk? Is that why she apologised? She felt responsible for bringing him into a world with no special power.
"Now seeing you with all these new abilities, training with someone so strong, I felt even more ashamed. I should have been a more supportive mother to you. I should have helped you become a hero, even if it was hard dream to make. A mother should always help her own son, but I gave up on you so quickly, I shouldn't even be considered your mother!" Inko fell to the floor, her words breaking more of Izuku's heart.
Following her to the ground, Izuku hugged his mother, who grabbed him, allowing both of them to let their tears flow.
"Mum, I forgave you years ago. I don't hate you, I never hated you. You were the only person in my life who still saw me as a person, even if you saw me as a fragile one. You still cared." Izuku told his mother, who stopped sobbing, yet her tears still kept flowing.
"Don't say you are a bad mother, because you're not. You are the best mother I could ever hope to have." Izuku words kept making Inko more proud of her son.
Ever since Bardock came into his life, her little boy seemed to be growing up more by the day, and look at him now, taking care of his own mother. How sweet.
"I love you mum, and no one, nothing in this universe will change that. You are the best mother I have, and I don't want anyone else to change that." Izuku showed how much he loves his mother, bringing her closer in.
"I love you too, Izuku!" Inko cried, happy her son didn't hate her and still loved her more than ever.
Over the months, Izuku slowly mastered these techniques through vigorous training and practice. His telekinesis and energy sensing was easy for him to pick up, as he was able to use the same principles for both techniques, while flight was completely differently, and he got very little guidance from Bardock, because to him,
"I learned to fly at such a young age, it is basically second nature to me. You'll have to do all the heavy lifting yourself."
Izuku knew he couldn't rely on Bardock all of the time, but he seriously wanted help with his flight, because all he could do was fly like an inch off the ground, and even then, he could only hold it for a couple seconds.
"Don't sweat about the details, kid. You have only been training for a few months. This stuff usually takes years if not decades to learn and master. So don't cut yourself short." Bardock smacked the back of Izuku, who was laying on the sandy ground on his knees.
"I know, it's just, I feel like I am falling behind." Izuku said, feeling like he isn't improving as fast as he should be..
"Falling behind what? Remember kid, you aren't just learning how to fight, but you are also learning how to be a hero through your own strength and power." Bardock encouraged the boy, telling him why he shouldn't give up.
Izuku nodded, understanding what his master said. He picked himself up and looking across the sea, he remembered back when everyone told him he couldn't be a hero, he use this to fuel his rage, and with a burst of fury, he yelled at the top of his lungs and release his energy, his white aura surrounding his body and throwing sand around him.
Bardock could feel the raw power from Izuku's energy, and it may not be a lot, but it is still impressive compared to most humans on the planet.
Izuku then turned around, falling into his fighting stance, one he created by himself. Based around defence, he used his arms to cover his face and chest, while his legs were positioned to spring into action for an offensive attack, or for a reactive attack.
Bardock smiled, knowing what his pupil wanted. So, without hesitation, Bardock got ready for the upcoming battle and charged up his own energy.
Standing their ground, both waited with baited breath for the other to attack, but neither moved. But it was Bardock who reacted first, charging at Izuku for a right hook to the top of his head, which Izuku blocked.
BANG* *RUMBLE* *BTZZ*
[Location: UA High School]
[Time: A Week After The Incedent]
It was the end of the school day, and most students have left the building, apart from those with extra classes and those who want to keep training their quirks, but for the most part, it was the end of the day for the students. But for Nedzu and all the staff of UA, they still have many hours till the end of their day, Nedzu especially.
He was Swamped with paperwork, since the UA entrance exam for the new year's was coming up, so he was already so tired and had gone through twenty three tea cups that day, and he wasn't planning on stopping anytime soon.
*Knock* *Knock*
A sudden knock on Nedzu's door caught the rodent's attention, which made the principal let the person on the other end inside.
"I know it you Yagi, come in, come in." Nedzu happily greeted his old friend, closing the door behind him and sitting down.
"So, Yagi, what brings you to my office today? Guessing it's something very important?" Nedzu asked, a freshly brewed cup of tea already made fir Yagi.
"Yes, it's in regards about both my successor, and Bardock." Yagi answered his boss's question, taking the cup of tea without question.
"I see, and what is it that you want to talk qbpit with those two?" Nedzu asked, allowing Yagi to speak his heart out.
"Well, you see. Even though young Midoriya is my successor, I have barely attributed to his training, as Bardock has done all of that himself." Yagi began, with Nedzu asking if he is jealous of Bardock taking over his job.
"Hardly. The man is a much better teacher than I could ever be. He is literally teaching the boy a power anyone can use, and Midoriya is already so much more stronger than I could imagine him being if I was the one training him." Yagi said, taking another sip from his cup.
"I see. Well if it isn't jealousy, then what is it?" Nedzu pondered, and Yagi kept silent, but only for a second.
"Well, there are two things. First, I feel left out in Midoriya's training. I feel obligated in helping Midoriya improve his control over One for All, but even after months of having it inside his body, he has yet to access it, so I have been leaving the physical training to Bardock." Yagi explained, and Nedzu asked when he gave OFA to Izuku.
"Two months after his physical training started. I was really surprised at how quickly the boy was able to clean the beach, but with how fast he is growing from Bardock's training, I'd say the boy is only tapping into a small percentage of his potential." Yagi said, shocking Nedzu with how quickly Izuku was growing.
"Two months?! My, that is quick. And you say he hasn't even used OFA?" Nedzu asked, and Yagi confirmed it.
"I may have a few ideas on why, which I believe is this energy Bardock is teaching him. I have a suspicion that quirks may be a manifestation of this energy, and because Midoriya was quirkless, he is able to tap into his energy more easily, but not One for All." Yagi proposed his theory to Nedzu.
"Could be. Or maybe another theory, Quirks and energy are separate sources of power, and Midoriya's energy is somehow interfering with One for All from manifesting. Who knows for sure, but you have yet to tell me this second thought you seem concern with." Nedzu also gave out a theory, but redirected the conversation to Yagi's second concern.
"Right, this is about Bardock and what his existence on this planet could cause." Yagi said, his voice becoming a lot more serious.
Nedzu asked for Yagi to explain more. Yagi said that all the information they know about Bardock, they kniw he is an alien from another planet, he is a part of a Warrior race that loves to fight, and he has a desire to grow stronger. But they were underestimating the actual strength of Bardock.
"And why is that? The man is strong I can agree with that, but I'm guessing you experienced this strength yourself?" Nedzu pondered, looking at Yagi with a look that could kill.
"Yes, me and him had a quick spar, and I was able to take the upper hand at the start, but as soon as I took the advantage, Bardock brought it back and without effort, defeated me in only three attacks." Yagi's sudden explanation made Nedzu drop his cup of tea.
"He… he what?" Nedzu said, fear clearly etch into his eyes.
"Yes. A punch to my stomach, an uppercut to my jaw and lastly an overhead slam with both his fists. All in succession. I stood no chance." Yagi solemnly said, feeling horrible he lost.
Nedzu became a lot more serious, now understanding how dangerous Bardock is. If he could take down the number one hero in three attacks, then they need to either find away to neutralise the man, or make sure to stay on his good side, and right now, having Izuku as the linchpin between them and Bardock, Nedzu wanted to make sure Bardock didn't go off destroying the planet.
"Yagi, as much as I am scared of the possibility that Bardock could turn on us at any moment, it would be best if we stay on his good side. Who knows how easily he could take over the world. We don't want another King Piccolo incident again." Nedzu explained, thinking back on how grim the world became when King Piccolo took over the world many years ago.
"I agree, but after the fight, it made me realise how incredible energy control is. Maybe Midoriya could achieve a similar power as Bardock and maybe be even greater with OFA!" Yagi boasted, his pride and excitement of Izuku and his future beaming from him.
Nedzu nodded at that. This energy control is a very strong and versatile source of power. But when he listens to Yagi's telling and watches Bardock himself, he begins to think about a very old friend of his, one that helped him escape that awful lab. Which then clicked in his brain.
"Yagi, I might have a plan in case Bardock goes rogue." Nedzu proposed, his mischievous grin now fully visible.
"Umm, sir, what are you planning?" Yagi asked, now completely concerned with what plan he was thinking of, for both his and Bardock's sake.
Before Nedzu answered his employee, he ducked under his desk and rummaged through his drawers. Then he popped back up just as fast and jumped onto the desk.
"Take this. I want you to go to this location. There, you'll meet someone very close to me that may be able to teach you this energy control stuff. He is a very close and old friend of mine, so I know you can trust him." Nedzu explained, handing over a map to Yagi.
Yagi looked at the map and saw the location highlighted in a red circle. He asks who this man was and how this could be a way to stop Bardock in an emergency.
"You are going to learn the same things as Midoriya is learning, only that you'll be learning it from him. Now, go. The more time you train the better!" Nedzu explained, then shoved his employees out of his office.
Yagi tried to protest and ask Nedzu for more information, but Nedzu said he has everything he needs for now, and to stop wasting precious time. With that, Nedzu shut the door and told Yagi to have a wonderful trip.
("A backup plan for Bardock? What could go wrong?") Yagi thought, looking at the map carefully, then putting away and walking off, ready to take a trip to this old friend of Nedzu's.
[Chapter End[AN: Hello readers, I am back. Sorry for the long highatis I was on.
