Chapter 17
Words Said in Anger
"A dragon's rage is the most terrible thing that could befallen a nation. Entire cities can disappear overnight and nothing is left but ashes"- Unknown
Himiko Toga had no fear in her expression despite the fact she just jumped off the railing that was high above the ground where Izuku was currently standing at and instead seem to be on top of the world with unbridled joy.
The only son of Hiashi and Inko Midoriya on the other hand was actually doing a better job with the current girl falling toward him than he did with the previous one as he actually was able to focus on her face this time…. though recalling his first encounter with the girl, it was not because Himiko was lacking in that department compare to Mei.
He was still taken to the ground again regardless when she finally crashes into him, forcing him flat on his back as he takes the impact for both of them.
This knock the air out of him for the moment and all the while the triumphant laughter of Buraee could be heard in the boy's head.
"Fate smiles upon us this day, boy! It has delivered the girl you are destine to be with straight into your arms!", Buraee bellows.
"Izu-kun! Did you miss me?! Did you?! Huh?! Huh?!", Himiko says as she pushes herself up and looks down at him, an open-mouth smile still plaster on her face.
For reasons that he himself could not even understand, Izuku found himself unable to speak for he was too far focus on Himiko's eyes.
Her yellow eyes that shine like solid gold caught in the sunlight as they stare into his green ones and once again Izuku found himself memorizes by them, ready to dive into them.
So memorizes that he did not even hear Vlad King yelling at her as he ran down the stairs.
"That's enough, Toga! Leave the poor boy alone!" he says, 'Get off him! NOW!"
It was then that Izuku notices those golden eyes narrow in anger and turn from him to look at the Pro Hero.
"I was only saying hi to him. Nothing wrong with that", Himiko says.
"Saying "hi" usually doesn't consist of jumping down into someone from such a high distance. You could have really hurt him", Itsuka says as she comes up behind the girl.
Himiko, eyes still narrow, stands up and turns around to direct part of her attention to the orange-haired girl, "Do I know you?"
"No, but I definitely know you. Saw your face all over the news not too long ago after you stabbed that poor boy at your school", Itsuka answers and Izuku notice her fists clenching.
"Oh?", Himiko says as she picks up on Itsuka's hands as well and thus her full focus temporarily shifts from Izuku to Itsuka, "And how does the fact that I'm not in jail for that make you feel?"
Itsuka's eyes now narrow in response to Himiko's question and the tension between the two girls could be felt by everyone at the beach, including Izuku who snaps out of his shock.
'Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!", he says as he quickly gets up and put himself in between the two of them, "There is no need for such hostility!"
"I have to disagree with you there!", Licitum says as he appears behind Itsuka, "That foul creature needs to leave the vicinity immediately!"
"You are overreacting and it is truly a pathetic sight to witness", Buraee states as he appears behind Himiko, "This girl has done nothing wrong to deserve such slander thrown her way."
But before Izuku could even attempt to calm everyone, including the dragons, down, Vlad King came running up.
"How about we all take a breather along with a step back before something happens?", the Pro Hero says in a tone that brook no argument.
Then seems to break the standoff between Himiko and Itsuka but the later shoots a look of disgust at the Pro Hero before stomping off to a different part of the beach.
Seeing his cue, Izuku turns to the man. "Vlad King-", he starts.
"You can call me Mr. Kan", the man interrupts.
"M-Mr. Kan, please accept my apology on behalf of Kendou! Now if you will excuse me!", Izuku says before running off to where Itsuka went.
"Izu-kun, where are you going?!", Himiko tries to chase after him only to be stop by her guardian.
"Yeah, I don't think so", he says.
"Just because you don't like having fun doesn't mean everyone else doesn't", Himiko grumbles.
"I heard that and I want you to know that I have half a mind to leave right now. The only reason I brought you here was because no one is supposed to come to this beach because of the trash, but now I'm not so sure...", Sekijiro says as he looks over at the other three occupants. The other two girls, the foreigner and the one with the pink hair, seem to be discussing what just happen though they did have of a bunch of tools and parts laid out across the sand in their general area along with the coveralls they were wearing. The girl he saw at the top of the stairs was still up there though she seemed to be sitting on a nearby bench while keeping her eyes on the boy for some reason.
Any normal person in this type of situation would go find somewhere else to relax on this warm Sunday. Unfortunately, all the other beaches were a no-go due to how crowded they would get in an hour or so and only this beach was vacant due to the trash. Sekijiro Kan was a Pro Hero who was known to follow his gut instinct over any sort of logic and it has saved his life and the lives of many others in the past and unfortunately his gut was telling him that it would actually somehow be better if he spent the day on this particular beach.
Whether or not it be better for him or for Himiko though was less clear.
"Jeez, why can't things be simple nowadays?", he thought.
When Izuku finally caught up with Itsuka the girl seems to be in the process of flattening a refrigerator...by punching it…. with her enlarge hands.
"Is everything okay?", he asks after a moment.
"No, everything is not okay! That girl got away with stabbing and hurting multiple people all because a couple of Pro Heroes step in!", Itsuka says while still punching, "Pro Heroes are supposed to stand for justice, law, and order! They're not supposed to have a helping hand in letting criminals escape their punishment!"
….
"You do know the reason why she got her charges drop, right?", Izuku asks, having known the real reason himself after looking it up online.
"I do. Her parents made her suppress her quirk despite the fact that she requires blood", Itsuka answers, "That still doesn't excuse what she did though to that boy and the other people she hurt."
Izuku rubs the back of his neck, "While I can see where you're coming from, I do think that maybe you're being a bit unfair right now."
Itsuka stops punching the refrigerator, returns her hands to normal, and turns to look at Izuku, "Oh really? How so?"
For a moment, Izuku thought that maybe he had push too far with the way Itsuka was narrowing her eyes at him.
"Damn, I think I really step in it this time. Oh well, no guts no glory", he thought before speaking, "Personally, I think she and I are in the same boat so to speak."
"Huh?", Itsuka says, "Explain to me how you came to this conclusion, will you?"
"Well look at it this way", Izuku starts to explain, "Our quirks were both the main reasoning for us putting people in the hospital and it took a group of Pro Heroes to step in and help us avoid getting in trouble for something we really did not have control over."
"Midoriya, you had your quirk manifestation and that alter your behavior; that's one thing. She, on the other hand, got her quirk around the same time that most people did", Itsuka points out.
"True, but it requires her to drink blood on a regular basis", Izuku says.
"She could have gone to the police and file for quirk abuse against her parents but instead she just kept quiet until she finally snapped and people had to suffer because of it", Itsuka says, "Plus going off her body language and tone she has no regrets for what she did, something at least you have."
….
….
…..
"You do have regrets for what you did to those kids from your school, right?", Itsuka asks after noticing Izuku looking at the ground in silence, his face casting an unreadable expression.
"It's…. complicated", he finally says.
"Simplify it for me then", Itsuka says.
"Not now, maybe later, but not now please", Izuku says as he brings his head back up, "Look, I'm going to go talk to Vlad King and Toga and hopefully sort this whole thing out. In the meantime, we can clean up the beach over here for now and train."
Itsuka crosses her arms in a huff, 'Fine but they both need stay away from me. I know I can't take Vlad King in a fight but if that girl starts trouble with me-"
"Let's just hope it doesn't come to that", Izuku says as he starts to walk back.
'By the way, Midoriya", Itsuka says, stopping the boy in his track, "She called you "Izu-kun". Do you two know each other?"
Something inside of Izuku, perhaps the dragons themselves, told him to choose his next words wisely or else bad things would more than likely happen.
"We sort ran into each other when I was at the hospital after my incident", Izuku confesses, which was not a lie.
"And you calling her by her full name?", Itsuka asks.
"A-A reaction, I swear", Izuku says as he holds his hands up, "I wasn't expecting to see her again."
"Hmmmm", Itsuka merely says, "Well, go talk to them so we can get to cleaning up the beach and get down to training."
"Okay, I'll be back shortly", Izuku says as he jogs away.
"One more thing", Itsuka says, "I don't think you should use your strength buff today."
This stops Izuku, once again, dead in his tracks.
"Huh? Why?", he asks.
"I realize last night that moving all this trash is a great way for you to build up both your lower and upper body strength but you'll only get the most out of it if you don't "cheat" per say by using your strength buff or whatever other buffs you might have. Just stay normal to move the trash around", Itsuka explains, "But that is only a suggestion, take it how you will."
"I'll think about it, Kendou", Izuku says before leaving.
But before he could get to where Toga and Vlad King were setting up their stuff he was intercepted by Melissa.
"Izuku, is everything okay?", she asks, "Kendou look pretty mad just now."
"Well she isn't happy about the situation surrounding Toga", Izuku answers.
"You mean about her stabbing that boy and everything that happen afterwards?", Melissa says.
"Yeah that, in fact she-", Izuku starts before stopping, "Wait a minute, how do you know that?"
"I ask Mei about it", Melissa says while pointing a thumb behind her to the pink-haired girl who was currently welding two pipes together with a mini-torch she had on her.
"And she told you?", Izuku asks, finding it hard to believe that Mei had an interest in such a thing like Toga's incident, but then again, he only met her yesterday.
"More like she gave me the bare minimum of it and the rest I had to look up online just now", Melissa answers.
"Ah, there it is", Izuku says before looking back at the westerner, "Is Toga being here going to be a problem? We can go somewhere else if you want."
"That guy that came with her, Vlad King I believe the article said his name was, seems to be keeping an eye on her and she hasn't done anything to me. Though I'll admit that it is heartbreaking that her parents treated her like that", Melissa answers.
….
"You…. feel sorry for Toga?", Izuku asks after a moment.
"Well yeah, I mean, I'm quirkless but if I had a quirk like hers and my parents forced me to suppress it I'm pretty sure I would turn out just like she did", Melissa answers while looking over at where Himiko was standing with Vlad King.
She then turns her attention back to Izuku who was starting at her with wide eyes.
"Melissa, you're quirkless?", Izuku asks.
"Oh, I didn't tell you that? And Ryukyu and her staff didn't tell you either?", Melissa asks.
"No, no one did", Izuku answers.
"That's funny because even I knew!", Mei says as was now welding a microwave to the top of a dryer machine.
"That isn't an issue, is it?", Melissa asks.
"What?! Of course not!", Izuku says while waving his arms rapidly back and forth, "I just didn't know! Why would I have a thing against quirkless people when I myself was deem quirkless for ten years?! I just didn't know!"
"I did!", Mei once again reminds him while still working.
"Please pay attention to your welding, Mei!", Melissa says before shrugging, ""Eh, it's really no big deal which is probably the reason why I forgot to mention it."
"Were you treated bad back at home because of that?", Izuku asks without even thinking, earning him a baffle look from Melissa who tilts her head at him.
"Treated bad?", she repeats, "How do you mean?"
Realizing that he just once again step into something he shouldn't have Izuku beats a retreat.
"Oh nothing, nothing. Nevermind, forget I said anything!", he says.
"Hmmm", Melissa merely says, regarding him with look that hid her thoughts.
"Well, I got to go talk to Vlad King and Toga", Izuku says as he turns to walk away.
"About that girl, Izuku", Melissa says, stopping the boy in mid-turn, "I heard her call you Izu-kun and you call out her full name. Do you two know each other?"
"Weeelllllllll", Izuku says while wondering why Itsuka and Melissa seem to be fixated on that, "When I was in the hospital after my quirk manifestation, I sort of ran into her."
"Huh, sounds like you made a good first impression on her", Melissa says.
"An impression that you need to press while the time is right! Why are you wasting time?", Buraee says as he appears next to Melissa.
"Gotta go", Izuku say, ignoring his evil personification, before making his way over to where Vlad King and Toga were standing.
"Us being here isn't going to cause a problem, is it?", Sekijiro asks.
"I don't think it's going to be a problem as long as you two stay over here, Mr. Kan", Izuku says.
Without warning, Himiko wraps herself around Izuku's left arm and he could feel her pressing into it.
"Wow, I was right! Mei may have her beat but only by a litt- What am I thinking?!", the boy screams.
"But you'll stay over here too and keep me company, right Izu-kun?", Himiki says right before Sekijiro separates the two.
"A-A-A", Izuku says as his mind try to reboot itself after the close encounter, "A-Actually I have to go help Kendou clean the beach and train with her."
"Train?", both Himiko and Sekijiro said though for different reasons.
"Izu-kun is going to spend time with that orange-haired bitch instead of me? That moves her from an annoyance to a problem", the girl thought.
"Kid, why are you training with that girl instead of with Ryukyu?", Sekijiro asks.
"She delayed my training by five months so she can get her agency better prepare for me since my quirk seems to be evolving quite quickly", Izuku answers, "So Kendou and I came to an agreement where I help her clean the beach and she gives me basic martial arts training in return until my time with Ryukyu starts."
This bit of information catches Himiko's full attention.
"Is that right?", Sekijiro says as he recalls watching the news coverage of the fight between Ryukyu and the triplets and how Izuku "took on" the oldest one, "By the way, that was some quick thinking on your feet to keep the leader distracted until Ryukyu was able to handle her. Don't think most people with a quirk like yours would have simply just jump around and dodge like that until help got there."
Izuku fought hard to suppress the urge to jump up and down in glee. That was two heroes in three days that praise him for his action in taking on a villain and this one was a teacher at U.A.!
"Thank you, Mr. Kan! But now if you would excuse me I have to go assist Kendou!", he says with a bow and turns to leave.
"Izu-kun!", he hears Himiko call out to him and turns around to see her looking at him with excitement in her eyes no more than a couple of inches from him.
"Y-Yes Toga?", he says, once again getting hot under the collar over how close the girl was.
"You're take a little break to come talk with me, won't you?", she says in a sweet innocent voice.
"Y-Yeah. Maybe. I'll have to see", Izuku says before continuing on back toward where Kendou was, missing the deadly glare that appears on Himiko's face as soon as he turns away from her.
"That girl is definitely a problem but she is a problem I have to put up with…. for now,", the deadly blonde thought.
Truth be told, the fact that Izuku was at this very beach and would be for the next five months was better than anything Himiko could ever have hope for. If anything, it was just more proof that a higher power wanted her to have a proper second confession. In just a span of a few minutes she not only got a location but also a time frame on where Izuku would be for a while. Granted she knew it would not be easy to get any alone time with him with the pro hero and the others folks around, but it was a start. Perhaps if she just refrains from causing any sort of trouble, Vlad King would let her start coming here by herself.
"Speaking of other people", Himiko thought as she turns her gaze to the westerner and pink-haired girl who were busy putting some sort of contraption together out of a stove, a basketball rim, and a ping-pong table, "They seem not to be all that bother by my presence and seem to keep to themselves. Izu-kun seems to know them well but they aren't keeping him away from me. For their sakes' they better stay that way."
Himiko then directs her attention to the black-haired girl she saw at the top of the stairs right before she jumped off of them. She was just sitting on a bench but her eyes were watching Izuku.
"Wonder what her deal is? Does she have a problem with my Izu-kun?", she thought before shifting back to the orange-haired girl and Izuku, "Okay Himiko, patience is the key here. Bide your time and play nice and soon enough you will have your chance. Flirt but don't overdo it, you don't want to scare him off for he definitely has a bit of low self-esteem. Remember, it takes time to get the perfect moment for a confession."
It was at that moment she realizes that she had the perfect "weapons" to get more of Izuku's attention as she quickly moves to take off her shirt and shorts to reveal her swimsuit underneath.
"You can stop right there", she hears Vlad King say, authority heavily laces in his tone, "You're going to keep all that on while we're here."
"You said that I can go swimming when we got here", she reminds him.
"Yeah, that was before it became known that people actually came to this beach", Sekijiro says, "You can still go swimming if you want but you will be doing it with your clothes on. The last thing I need is that boy constantly coming over here."
"Always ruining my fun", Toga grumbles as she plops down onto the sand and crosses her arms in a huff.
The day came and went with every group doing their respective thing and as the sun started to set Izuku found himself at his wits' end.
He was able deal with Itsuka and her bad mood while picking up trash and training throughout the day, even when she started to make him do twenty push-ups whenever he slipped up on his form while practicing his punches...which happen a lot.
He turned down Mei's constant pleads to test her babies out on his dragons forms even though he was starting to get a little creep out on how she manages to keep sneaking up on him to do so and how persistent she was.
He was able to "barely" keep a clear head during Himiko attempts to flirt with him whenever he wandered too close to where she and Vlad King were enjoying the beach, though he was always "scare" off by the Pro Hero who gave him a glare whenever he stayed too long.
He was especially grateful for Melissa, bless her kind soul, eagerly sharing with him some of the food and water she packed for the beach though she sometimes became a little pushy in making sure he was properly hydrate and fed. She had already "politely made" him drink two full large bottles of water and eat three sandwiches since he got here and her attitude reminded him of the way his mother was acting this morning. She even "convinced" him to rest for twenty minutes every two hours despite the fact he was not all that tired since he decided to pace himself today as oppose to yesterday even though he took to moving the trash without using his strength buff like Itsuka suggested.
His one attempt to voice his displeasure was met by a smile that somehow reminded Izuku of Nefer tearing into the black dragon last night, so he quickly, and smartly, dropped the matter and just ate his food and rested.
But what really push him to his limit was the fact that he could feel Momo's stare on him no matter where he went on the beach or what he did. Every time he happened to glance in her direction, his eyes became lock with hers and he found himself quickly turning his attention somewhere else out of sheer fright. He made him start to wonder if that girl had it out for him and was taking the whole recommendation thing a bit too far.
Every now and then she would get up from the bench and walk along the beach while taking pictures of the surroundings with her phone but eventually she would be right back to sitting and turning her eyes on him.
Rinse, wash, and repeat for like six times throughout the day.
So somehow, Izuku found himself dealing with five girls with five unique personalities all gather in one location.
To say the day was a hectic was would be the understatement of the century.
At the moment though, he was currently gulping down the third bottle of water that Melissa gave him after he came over to her and Mei during a break when he heard a voice behind him.
"Izuku Midoriya, are you available at the moment? I wish to discuss a serious matter with you."
Izuku turns around to see the heiress herself standing on the stairs behind him, looking down at him with the same expressionless she had when they first met though the image of a hawk eyeing a field mouse briefly pop into his mind for some reason and it did not take a genius to realize which animal he was.
"Me?", is all he croaks out after a moment, dropping his water bottle in the process.
Meanwhile at the Ryukyu Agency
"I think we should keep a twenty-four hours surveillance on Midoriya", Ayano says from her place at the conference table where the other members of Ryuko's staff and the Pro Hero herself sat excluding Eisho Kaneshiro of course for he has still not shown back up yet.
"Yes, you have brought this up an excess amount of time and I have denied it an equal amount of times", Ryuko says.
"Now is not the time to respect someone's privacy", Ayano argues, "The boy is progressing at a rapid pace and we should be tracking it."
"And we will be during the times I have set for drone surveillance and not before or after. From the surveillance we did yesterday we now know that Midoriya is doing some type of improvise training at a beach park not far from his home from early in the morning until the sun goes down and he will be doing this for five months in preparation for his training here", Ryuko states, "Therefore we now have a centralize location he will be at and his time there will be time window for surveillance until I say otherwise."
"But think of all the research I'm missing out on! The experiments!", the Quirk Analyst whines.
"You will have five months to catch up once he is training here", Takako says.
"But I have to wait for that to happen! Can't I go with you when you go to check up on him? Please?", Ayano begs.
"No because you will frighten him with your obsession over his abilities", Takako answers.
"I promise I will behave!", Ayano says.
"I'll think about it but ~if~ I agree you are leaving your syringes here", Ryuko says before turning her attention to Gakuto, "Have you gotten the list together of what resources you're going to need to prep the agency?"
"Sure have, I'll send it to you when we're done here", the support maintainer says.
Ryuko nods and then directs her focus to Chojun, the agency's treasurer, "Do everything you can to make sure they get here ASAP."
"That I can do", the golden-haired woman replies.
"Hiroko, make sure you have all the equipment you need", the Pro Hero says to her physical fitness coordinator who merely gives a thumbs-up in response.
An alarm on Ryuko's phone goes off, causing the woman to stand up.
"I got an early patrol with Rumi right now so I want everyone to stick to their duties and support Gakuto and Ayano however you can to get this place ready. We will continue this when I get back", she says before turning and leaving, "Catch you all then."
A short elevator trip later and the Okinawan found herself walking out into her lobby where the Rabbit Hero was waiting for her, sitting on the couch while watching TV with her legs on the small table that sat in front of it. Ryuko notices her ears' slightly twitch toward her and watches the fellow heroine throws her hand up in a greeting manner all while not even looking behind her.
"Sup, Ryu? Hope you don't mind but I let myself in. I didn't say anything last time but this is a nice setup you got here by the way, far better than your last place in Tokyo.", Rumi comments.
Ryuko says nothing as she walks up to the couch and leans on the edge of it.
"You know I find it odd that you don't do team-ups but you "invited" me to come along on patrol with you today", she then says.
"I figure I get the word out that I'm here in this prefecture sooner rather than later and what better way to go walking around with one of the top heroes in the area? This way it might cause most of the criminals here to either panic and leave or do something stupid", Rumi explains.
"Do something stupid usually means to more work for people like you and me", Ryuko points out.
"Yeah, but that only applies to the small fries. The big dogs will keep their heads down and that will allow me time to sniff them out before they can actually do something", Rumi counters.
"Didn't know detective work was a skill of yours", Ryuko says.
"It's not, but this prefecture has a number of underground heroes who I can badger to let me bust some heads", Rumi states as she stands up and faces Ryuko for the first time, "So let's get out there and show everyone know that Musutafu is now under the protection of the top two heroines in Japan and if we're lucky, some idiots will try something while we're out!"
Back at the Beach
Izuku did not notice it the first time he met her but Momo Yaoyorozu was taller than him by at least seven centimeters but at this very moment she might have well have been Mt. Lady with how small he suddenly felt in her presence. She was once again in refine, expensive summer clothes, though it was just a blue version of what he saw her in at the agency, while he was in his track suit drench in sweat which gave a distinct comparison to their two completely different lifestyles.
"Me?", is all he manages to croak out.
"Yes", Momo answers before looking over at Melissa and Mei, "While I know Miss Shield through her father's work with my parents…"
Momo gives a nod to Melissa who waves back at her with a smile.
"And I acquaint with Miss Hatsume due to past gatherings,", Momo kept saying as she nods at Mei.
Izuku throws the chaotic techie a baffle look to which she shrugs.
"Her family has like thirty contracts with my family's company. We met once or twice at a couple of fancy banquets.", Mei answers, "We didn't talk much."
"Indeed", Momo says before redirecting her attention back at Izuku, "Anyhow, it is you I wish to talk to…. alone if possible."
Momo then gestures a hand back up the stairs from which she came from.
"If you will", she says.
For a moment Izuku just stares at the girl, wondering whether or not going up the stairs was a good idea. He wanted to say no but something told him to at least hear her out.
"Oh well. I have been making stupid decisions all day so what's one more?", he thought after a moment as he starts to go up with Momo following close behind him.
A few moment later he was at the top of the stairs alone with the heiress.
"What could she possibly want from me? Is this about the whole recommendation thing?", Izuku thought as the girl just look at him in silence.
"What did you want to talk about, Yaoyorozu?", Izuku asks, hoping to break the tension but the girl just kept staring at him, her eyes taking his body in an analyzed manner. They were slightly narrow and Izuku was not sure if she was angry but something told him that she was definitely not happy.
"I am actually curious if Ryukyu has told you anything about the whole situation surrounding her and I?", Momo finally asks though.
"She has actually and I want to talk to you about it. She has said nothing about helping me get into U.A. through a recommendation so while I am sorry about what happen between you two, I feel that any blame on me for this would be misplace.", Izuku says, hoping that this would put an end to any animosity the girl might have for him.
Oh, how naive he was.
"Oh….do you?", Momo says as she raises an eyebrow.
"That is not a good tone", Izuku thought, "Abort, Izuku! Abort!"
"Well then since you feel that way, may I be upfront and honest with you then, Midoriya?"
"I got the feeling you're going to be no matter what I say", Izuku answers.
"Do you honestly believe that someone like you is capable of making it into U.A. through their standard entrance examination?", Momo then asks.
Izuku felt his irk spike a little due to the way the rich girl asks that question, but he kept his cool.
"I'm sorry, what exactly are you implying?", he then asks.
"What I am implying is that you just had your quirk manifestation almost a week ago, a good decade past the time most people usually have theirs. You have ten months to get it under control before the U.A. entrance examination, the hardest hero school entrance examination in the country and one of the hardest in the world mind you, and I for one find it hard to believe that you will be able to accomplish such a feat even with Ryukyu's assistance", Momo explains, "Also take in the fact that during your initial quirk manifestation you brutally assaulted seven students from your former school, unprovoked mind you, and put them in the hospital and even attacked Ryukyu herself. From my point of view, it seems highly unlikely that U.A. would even allow you to attempt the standard exam without her backing and there is a chance you might not be able to even with it. The only way I possibly see you getting into ~any~ hero school, let alone U.A., is through Ryukyu's recommendation."
"But-", Izuku starts only to be cut off.
"And while I will admit that your scuffle with that villain the other day was mildly impressive, Ryukyu still had to come save you when you got in over your head. A Pro Hero cannot simply jump around during a crisis and expect others to always bail them out of trouble", Momo finishes, "In conclusion, I truly feel that Ryukyu is wasting her time in training you and that her efforts should be better spent toward someone such as I who has more control over their quirk and is less of a risk to those around them because quite frankly I believe it is only a matter of time before you kill someone."
Izuku says nothing, he just keeps staring at Momo with narrow eyes as his anger continue to rise at an alarming rate. Now this level of anger was nothing compare to what he felt for the twins and their gang but it was definitely up there in moments that he has been the most…. vex.
Itsuka criticizing his fighting capability was one thing because at least she is actually helping him get better but this girl was the complete opposite; pointing out all his flaws while not offering any real advice or solution in fixing them.
"Why are you even tolerating such slander from this girl?", Buraee says as he appears behind Izuku, his head next to his on his left side, "Strike her down now and be done with her!"
"Cease such talks!", Nefer declares as she appears on Izuku's right, "While I will admit that this girl is not the nicest of people, she has really done nothing wrong to invite such violence down upon her!"
"She insults the boy and that means she insults us, or more importantly, me! This cannot be ignored!", Buraee bellows back.
Izuku tunes out the both of them though surprisingly he found himself agreeing with Buraee a bit.
In-regards to not just standing there and taking Momo's criticism, not the whole "striking her down" part.
Had he been paying more attention to the evil dragon though he would have noticed the dragon's eyes were glowing even brighter than usual and he was staring directly at Izuku while wavy black appendages float off his scales and wrap themselves around Izuku.
"Fine then, if the boy will not take my advice to harm the girl physically then I will help him do so verbally", Buraee declares.
"Cease your actions, Buraee. You know this will not turn out well if you continue", Nefer warns.
"The boy has already made up his mind about this girl. I am doing nothing more than giving him the necessary backbone that he needs to say what is on his mind", came the reply from her counterpart.
"Oh, is that how you feel?", Izuku finally says after a moment, his tone slightly edged.
The heiress found herself caught off-guard by the change in Izuku's demeanor but she did a good job in not showing it.
"What I said is just my honest opinion", she clarifies.
"I see", Izuku says, "Then it would only be fair that I gave you my honest opinion about you then."
"I beg your pardon?", Momo says, not expecting this development.
"Yes, yes. Let the hate flow through you", Buraee whispers.
"Going off the ~two~ times we have interacted with one another, including today, and from what information I have been told about you, it is my honest opinion that you are a prideful person who has had everything handed to her on a silver platter from birth, including a powerful quirk", Izuku starts, "Judging by your behavior the other day, Ryukyu may have been the first person in your entire life besides your parents who have ever told you no and that's if they even do that. I figure that you are so used to getting your way that the few times that it doesn't happen, your pride takes a major blow."
Momo's eyes widen in surprise and her mouth drops in shock.
"Yes, do not stop now, boy! Break her down, brick by brick!", Buraee encourages, a sinister smile plaster across his face as Izuku kept going.
"You seem to think you're entitle to everything you lay your eyes on and if someone keeps you from having it you automatically seek to degrade them as if they are not even a person; they're just a thing to you. A thing that should be treated like trash", he then says.
"Wai-", Momo moves to speak, but Izuku holds a hand up.
"I'm not done", he cuts her off, "So, Ryukyu took away your recommendation; boo-hoo, cry me a fucking river. There are a hundred and eleven hero school recommendations a year and someone as rich as you could easily "buy" another one from another Pro Hero, which you probably tried to do in the first place but Ryukyu is too honorable to accept something like that and she probably only gave you hers so you would stop trying. Regardless, you could have just move on with your life, which from the looks of it has been a cakewalk compare to mine and pretty much everyone else, like a reasonable person would have. But no, instead of doing the logical thing, you decide to take out your frustrations on me despite the fact I had absolutely nothing to do with her decision seeing how she dump you a month and a half before she even met me and yet somehow you think that all your actions are justify because this is your world and everyone else just lives in it", Izuku says, "I don't know why you're at this particular beach today and frankly I don't care but the fact that you spend the entire day glaring at me and then decided to mock and belittle me shows me the type of person you truly are, a rich little girl who needs to grow the fuck up."
"HA! HA! That was perfect! Magnificent! Almost as good as I would have done!", Buraee bellows as his eyes return to their normal glow and the appendages retreat from around Izuku.
Momo just stood there, breathing heavily, with her face cast downward and Izuku could not see it despite the height disadvantage. Her hands were clenches and her whole body was trembling.
"Maybe I went too far", Izuku thought right before Momo suddenly looks back up at him with tears beginning to fall from her eyes, "I definitely went too far!"
Eyes that also had huge amounts harmful intent directed at him in them. "Aw crapbaskets."
Without warning the girl grabs the front of her blouse and rips it open, revealing her bra and bountiful chest.
"What the-?!", Izuku screams as he jumps back.
"Oh shit, this girl a freak! I bet you anything she is about to suffocate you to death with her huge boo-", Hunluan starts to say as she appears behind him.
"Not now, Hunluan!", Izuku shouts as he takes a step back away from the girl.
But before anyone could properly react, a dazzle of multicolored lights emits from Momo's chest and she reaches a hand into it and starts pulling out what seem to be part of a metal staff that materializes out of nowhere.
"Is this her quirk?!", Izuku thought before realizing that whatever the girl was doing it probably did not bode well for him.
But just as quickly as this display of power started it stops and Momo's face goes from unbridled fury to that of shock, realization, and if Izuku was reading her right, shame. Without saying a word, she pulls the rest of the metal staff out of her chest, though it was far shorter than Izuku thought it would be and throws it aside. Covering herself up with one hand and pulling out her phone with the other she turns around and walks away from Izuku.
"I want you to come pick me up, now!", Izuku hears her shouts into the phone with her voice breaking, and it was only ten seconds later that a white and pink limousine comes racing down the road, skidding to a stop right where Momo was waiting on the sidewalk. The girl basically yanks open the door but before she gets in she looks directly at Izuku, sending him such a heated glare that for a moment he thought he was going to end up like a villain who had just taken on Endeavor when he was in a grumpy mood.
She then gets into car, slamming the door hard in the process. The limousine then drives off but Izuku's eyes witness something being chuck out the passenger window into some nearby bushes as it reaches the end of the road.
For several moments, Izuku just stood there motionless while taking in everything that just happen.
"Think you might have piss her off a little.", he then hears behind him and turns around to see not only Mei but Melissa, Itsuka, Himiko, and Vlad King staying there, nodding their heads in agreement with the tech genius.
"Did you guys see all that?", Izuku asks.
"Seen and heard, kid", Vlad King answers.
Izuku then just buries his face in his hands and lets out a loud groan in frustration that echo throughout the beach.
The sun was close to setting by this point and it was at that moment that everyone still at the beach decided to head home for the day.
"You going to be okay, Midoriya?", Itsuka asks as she walk up to the boy as he sat on a bench, "It seems like you really piss Yaoyorozu off with whatever you said. I never picture her as the type to get angry."
Izuku moves to talk but then lifts an eyebrow, "You know her?"
Itsuka shrugs, "The National Championship for Youth Martial Arts is held in the same building in Tokyo that hold the championship for weapons combat and at the same time too, believe or not. I was there to cheer on my older brother about two years ago and just so happen to spot Yaoyorozu competing while walking around."
"And?", Izuku asks.
"She utterly demolished her competition despite her opponents being older than her by at least two years", Itsuka answers.
"So I'm taking it that she is good with a staff then?", Izuku asks.
"I believe she is regarded as one of the best bojutsu practitioners in the country for her age", Itsuka answers as she looks up and spots her uncle pull up, "I got to go. See you tomorrow."
"Yeah, see you tomorrow", Izuku says half-heartily as he watches her leave.
"You okay, Izuku?", he then hears and looks to see Melissa and Mei standing there.
"I think I'll be fine", Izuku replies.
"I have to admit, I'm surprise you stood your ground against her like that. My dad has told me stories of seeing her making senior board members of large companies cry with her words", Mei says.
"Thanks…. I guess?", Izuku says.
"You shouldn't feel too bad, Izuku. What she said about you wasn't very nice either", Melissa tries to assure him, "Though I must admit that I am fond of the expression "two wrongs don't make a right."
"But three rights make a left!", Mei interjects with a laugh as another car pulls up, "Time to go, see you tomorrow, Midoriya!"
"Bye Izuku, hope you have a good night", Melissa says as she goes with Mei.
"Bye", Izuku waves absentmindedly right before a pair of golden eyes appear in his vision.
"Aw, poor Izu-kun!", Himiko says as she then sat on the bench right next to the boy, violating his personal space, "Do you want me to make you feel better?"
Even with the mood he was in, Izuku could not beat back the blush that appear on his face at the close proximity Himiko was to him.
"Do you need a ride home?", Himiko then offers.
"I live right down the road", he says as he points to his apartment complex down the way.
"You do?", Himiko says, happy about this particular piece of information. "In that case-"
"That's enough, Himiko", Vlad King says as he walks up to the bench, "Go wait in the car."
"Tsk!", Himiko says getting up and walking away, but not before spinning around and waving at Izuku with a smile, "Hope to see you again soon!"
As the girl walk away, Izuku found himself alone with the hero/teacher for a moment, the two of them looking at one another in silence.
Then the Blood Hero takes a seat next to Izuku, though he maintains a respectable distance from the boy with his arms cross and his eyes close.
"Kid, I feel that this is one of those moments where I, as the older male, am obligated to give you, the younger male, some much needed advice", he then says, "And that is never judge a person until you have walked a mile in their shoes."
"With respect, Mr. Kan, that probably would have been useful to know earlier today", Izuku says.
"That's one of the things about advice; it usually comes after the point that you could have used it the most", Vlad King says as he got up, "One more thing; would it bother you if Toga and I came here more often?"
"Hmm?", came Izuku's response.
"I can't keep her lock up inside all the time and this seems to be the only place she can go to for the time being because no one else come here besides you and your group of friends", the Pro Hero explains.
Izuku thought about this for only a second before answering, "I personally don't have a problem with it and as long as you two stay away from Itsuka, she might not either. Mei and Melissa seem to be indifferent so that's a plus."
"Yeah and I don't think that other girl is coming back anytime soon", Vlad King says, causing Izuku to wince but he recovers quickly.
"What I don't understand though is why you are asking me though?", the boy then asks.
"From what I seen, you seem to be the common denominator for everyone else on this beach, whether you like it or not", Vlad King answers.
"I'm sorry, what?", Izuku says.
"Nothing, kid. Take care and maybe I'll see you later", the man says as he walks to his car and drives away, an enthusiastic Himiko leaning out the window and waving frantically at Izuku as it goes down the street.
"Well, it started off such a good day", Izuku told himself and got up to leave.
"I say it was still a good day. You made that rich girl cry and got close with Himiko. I call that a victory if only a small one", Buraee says as he materializes in front of him.
"I don't want to talk to you right now", Izuku seethes as he comes to a stop.
"Oh? And why is that?", Buraee asks, feigning ignorance.
"You made me say horrible things that I didn't mean to say!", Izuku shouts.
"Me? HA! HA! HA! HA!", Buraee laughs before shoving his face directly into Izuku, "Boy, all I did was give you a spine so you could say what was on your mind. Every single word that you told that girl was the truth from your own lips, not mine. You wanted nothing more to tear her down and I just gave you the little push needed for you to do so."
"You're lying", Izuku says.
"Am I? Then why don't we ask my counterpart who finds lying a distasteful trait? Nefer, if you will", Buraee says.
The good alignment dragon appears, her face a bit sullen.
"Buraee speaks the truth. Over than giving you the incentive to actually say it, he had nothing to do with your rant against Yaoyorozu", she states.
"In other words, he just switched off your filter", Hunluan says as pops into existence, "Everything else was all you."
"Indeed. What occur today was different than what happen in the alley. While you were angry at the girl it was not enough for Buraee to take over you so your words were your own", Licitum says.
"But I'm the one left picking up the pieces and feeling like total crap", Izuku grumbles before walking away though as he moves he stops at the partially form metal bar that Momo threw away and picks it up.
"This is heavy", he thought before recalling that something else was thrown out by the girl and starts walking over to the bushes where he saw it land. Upon reaching the spot he notices that it was thick book with a light blue cover. He picks it up out of the bushes and reads the title on it aloud.
"The Yaoyorictionary?"
Downtown Musutafu
Meanwhile in the research lab of the Ryukyu's Agency Building Ayano was sitting at her computer in the middle of the room with a wireless microphone headset on. She was in the midst of reviewing one of her "pet projects" one last time before storing it away in her archives.
She was not joking when she said that she now had to start all over in preparation for Izuku because everything she did over the last few days was gear toward the white dragon, including her "Shit has hit the fan" plans.
On a whim or mostly because she likes to prepare for the worst-case scenarios, she asks Tatsuhiro to make her a program which allow her to input the data of all the other Pro Heroes in Japan and see how they would have stack up had they went up against Izuku's white dragon form without preparation time, not that much different than those old Death Battle videos she used to watch when she was younger.
Regardless, Tatsuhiro did so and within the hour she was ready to go.
The parameters of these simulations included Izuku being unable to fly, only having one use of his ice breath, and still retaining the keen analyst mind that Ryuko noted Midoriya had during their fight despite being a white dragon which are known for their low intelligence.
"Research Log, number sixteen, for the Midoriya Files. This file will cover possible outcomes of what would have happen if Midoriya in his white dragon form went up against the other top-ranked Pro Heroes. For the record let me state that these simulations are not conclusive and should not be consider the true final result if these scenarios were to actually occur. This is all speculation as no simulation is one hundred percent accurate.", she spoke into the microphone as she turns on the computer video recorder, "First up, the Symbol of Peace himself."
She them start up the simulation and lets it play before speaking once more into the microphone.
"With All Might overwhelmingly speed and strength, he would have more than likely knock Izuku unconscious in the first ten seconds even while holding back", Ayano says before typing some more.
Midoriya (White Dragon) vs All Might
Result: Overwhelming win for All Might (Not even a contest)
"Next up, the Flame Hero.", she says as she plays the simulation.
"Due to the white dragon extreme weakness against fire, Endeavor would have been the perfect counter for him but more than likely Midoriya would have died in the process without even getting close to the number two pro hero due to his tendency to go overboard in fights. This result would no doubt further strain the relationship between him and Ryuko along with retaliation from the committee themselves direct at Endeavor.", Ayano concluded.
Midoriya (White Dragon) vs Endeavor
Result: Overwhelming win for Endeavor. Possible death of Midoriya.
"Number three ranked, Wing Hero, Hawks is an enigma. His flying ability is on par with Ryuko so he could have just as easily evaded Midoriya's single ice breath attack and he is probably smart enough to to keep his attacks long ranged or utilize his speed to avoid the boy's teeth and claws while getting in close. Factoring in the level of punishment Midoriya's dragon scales have taken so far, there is a good chance that Hawks' feather swords could only inflict minor damage at best to him", Ayano starts out, "So this would result in a stalemate where Midoriya could not hit Hawks and in turn he could not hurt Midoriya. The most likely outcome is that this would go on until Midoriya's draconic energy ran out, a limit that is not known at this very moment, and he revert back to normal but if they were battling in a populate area, the boy's attention might turn elsewhere, possibly nearby civilians, thus forcing Hawks to act."
The researcher pauses for a moment before speaking again.
"Adding in the fact of just aerodynamic Hawks is, it is safe to conclude that his body is probably lighter than the average person and thus not be all that great at taking hits. A solid blow from Midoriya could put him down for good", she finishes before typing into the computer.
Midoriya (White Dragon) vs Hawks
Result: Win for Hawks if he can keep Midoriya's attention long enough for him to run out of draconic energy and revert back to normal. Win for Midoriya if he can get into close-combat with Hawks, his scales being the deciding factor along with his claws.
"Number four, Best Jeanist, is a master of his quirk and as well as his craft but the main problem lies in that nearly every villain he has defeated in his career had to be wearing clothes for his quirk to really work; something that would be a problem against Izuku who is cover in scales and it is unknown if Best Jeanist has ever fought someone like that before so more research would have to be done", Ayano states, "Now if the location of their battle was locate somewhere like a mall or clothing store, this would no doubt work to the Fiber Hero's advantage though it should be noted that his quirk does not granted him enhance durability, a deciding factor in a fight like this."
Ayano then recalls a training exercise that Ryuko did with Best Jeanist about a year ago at the HPSC's orders to ensure smooth cooperation being high-rank heroes.
"Though Best Jeanist has no problem using his own clothing if none is available and he has even been able to hold Ryuko in place despite her being in full dragon form even if such a feat made him unable to move due to the intense concentration that is needed for him to maintain his hold. This would leave him an easy target if he was in position to be hit by Midoriya's breath attack which could also be used to destroy the threads holding him if need be", Ayano finishes.
Midoriya (White Dragon) vs Best Jeanist
Result: Narrow Win for Midoriya in simulation if he can close into melee. Possible win for Best Jeanist in real world depending on location. Midoriya's ice breath could be consider a deciding factor.
"Edgeshot would be another close one for the boy as the number five pro hero is one of the fastest around", Ayano starts out, "Theoretically, he could use his quirk to make to his body nearly impossible for Midoriya to hit but it would be hard for him to actually attack the kid hard enough to get through his scales and into his body and even if he did, a white dragon's body temperature can easily be in the negatives so that would factor how long Edgeshot would last in that environment."
The green-haired scientist looks over some notes she had written down on a notepad nearby before continuing on.
"Plus, Ryuko herself has made a statements in regards to Edgeshot and that is while he is extremely fast and agile, his over-reliance on such skills has left holes in his defense. Therefore, I concluded that if Midoriya was able to narrow the battlefield down and get Edgeshot pin, he would emerge victorious. This could be accomplished by Midoriya using his one ice breath attack to possibly hit the Ninja Hero to immobilize him or at least make the terrain difficult for the ninja to work with", she concludes.
Midoriya (White Dragon) vs Edgeshot
Result: Win for Midoriya if he can get in melee. Ice Breath attack is a considerable factor if only to take away Edgeshot's mobility.
"It is my personal opinion that if Midoriya was to battle number six pro hero, Crust, it would possibly just be a straight win for the Pro Hero due to the battle turning into one of attrition with the boy eventually tiring himself out against Crust's shields", Ayano says, "The only factor that could possibly give him an edge against the Shield Hero would be whether or not his claws could tear their way through Crust's quirk seeing how the Pro Hero can project his shields around him thus easily canceling out Midoriya's ice breath attack."
Midoriya (White Dragon) vs Crust
Result: Win for Crust though have yet to determine which is stronger, Crust's shields or Ryuko' scales. Izuku's claws could not get through Ryuko's scales during their initial encounter but cannot determine is the same can be said for Crust's shields. This would be a deciding factor.
"The information I have on the number seven Pro Hero, Miruko, is one of the most accurate of all the Pro Heroes in Japan due to the close relationship she has had with Ryuko over the years. She is extremely fast, powerful, agile and does not lack courage in the slightest. Ryuko has said multiple times that she deserves her title as the top heroine in Japan", Ayano starts out, pausing to write some notes down.
"Ryuko has also admitted that the Rabbit Hero could, if given time to build up momentum, dish out a powerful enough hit strong enough to negate hers and Midoriya's scales through sheer blunt damage. I would like to point out in Ryuko's case that did may not apply in her full dragon form due to her scales becoming significant stronger in that state", she then adds.
She then plays some old footage of Miruko tangling with some villains eight years ago where she, along with Ryuko since they were sidekicks together, took down a major villain's group that was starting to emerge in Tokyo. Miruko was using her agility and speed to avoid getting hit while Ryuko, not in full dragon mode due to the size of the area, was merely weathering the blows with her scales and attacking her opponents once an opening came around. She then stops the video and continues speaking.
"But I believe that the same could not be said about Miruko in the terms of taking a hit. I predict that good swipe of the Midoriya's claw, especially to the torso or head area, would be enough to put her down, possibly for good. Though I concur that this has a fifty/fifty chance of bringing the wrath of Ryuko herself down upon the boy, committee be damn", she concludes.
Midoriya (White Dragon) vs Miruko
Results: Draw. It would come down to who gets the first good hit in.
"Oh boy, this is going to be interesting", Ayano thought as she watches the simulation of the eighth ranked Pro Hero.
"Yoroi Musha, the Equipped Hero, who Ryuko served under during her sidekick's days, is the longest active Pro Hero in Japan, appearing on the hero scene a good ten years before All Might started his career in America and has an entire ocean of experience to rely upon because of that. He once even held the number one spot and has been in the top ten for decades.", she then starts.
She then brings up an image on her computer showcasing a younger Ryuko standing next to Miruko as they took a group photo of the Yoroi Musha's agency, with the veteran hero himself in the middle of group of hundreds of sidekicks.
"It is an open secret that the "Old Man", as he is famously called sometimes, of Japan's Pro Heroes owes his current status not only to his decades of prestigious service but also due to the fact that six out of the current top ten Pro Heroes, at some point in his long career, have served as his sidekicks and this includes Ryuko herself along with Miruko, Crust, Edgeshot, Best Jeanist, and Gang Orca", Ayano carries on, "And those are just the ones in the top ten. Over a quarter of today's official Pro Heroes in Japan have served in the "Sidekick Army" of Yoroi Musha at various points in their careers, whether it be for a few months or a few years, and this have also earned the man the moniker, the "Sidekick Hero", though only an idiot would say this to his face."
She then minimizes the image before continuing.
"It should be noted that he is only not in the top three due to him delegating most of his duties to his sidekicks to handle while he serve as more of a "mission control" for the most part in the city of Kyoto where his main agency is located though he does maintain a network of "agency outposts" full of sidekicks in all forty-seven prefecture capitals of Japan along with four more outposts being setup in the capital city of Tokyo alone. Thanks to his investments into the tech industry he has the computer and satellite capability to be the mission control for all these outposts simultaneously due to outfitting all of his sidekicks with state-of-the-art communicators", she says before stopping to think for a moment, "While there no official correlation has been proven, experts have pointed out that the Hero-Killer Stain has never been seen operating in cities that have these outposts nor attacking any sidekick serving underneath Yoroi Musha. These same experts have also said that this is mostly likely because even Stain would be hard press if he drew the ire of the Old Man and his Sidekick Army."
Ayano takes another pause to write more notes down before pressing on.
"Because of his career and number of sidekicks Yoroi Musha is consider to be one of the most influential Pro Heroes today, second only to All Might despite having a smaller number of personal resolve cases than him or Endeavor. This is further proven by the fact that he is the only Pro Hero today, besides All Might, who is allow to disregard the HPSC's new sidekick restriction policy due to his long career and prestigious service. Not even Endeavor and Hawks are granted that luxury.", the Quirk Analyst states.
Ayano reaches for a bottle of water that is next to her keyboard and after downing half of it, carries on.
"On a special note, within the "Sidekick Army", which is currently six hundred strong as of right now and contain more than one-fifth of Japan's sidekicks, there exist a special rank known as "Justicar". These senior sidekicks are handpicked by Yoroi Musha himself and are allow, by even the HPSC itself, to run entire agency outposts by themselves and carried out his orders throughout all of Japan with some even having a higher status than most of the local Pro Heroes in their area of responsibility due to this. Though officially they are still considered sidekicks, many Justicars have gone on to become top-ranked heroes themselves including all of the top ten heroes mention previously. Both Ryuko and Miruko held this position not long before they started their Pro Hero's careers while they were "stationed" in Tokyo with Ryuko running the western outpost and Miruko running the southern one with their respective nicknames being the "Dragon of the West" and the "Rabbit of the South", though neither was really a big fan of them."
She then starts spinning around in her chair while looking up at the ceiling, her mind racing to figure out what to say next.
"So, despite his advanced age and his current hands-off approach, Yoroi Musha is still stronger, faster, more durable, and far more experience than a large number of the younger, and older, Pro Heroes today. He can still take down high-rank criminals that are deem too dangerous for his sidekicks or the local Pro Heroes to handle and has a high success rate in soloing them. With all these factors taken into consideration, it is easy to see why he is usually the go-to guy for the government when it comes to assigning a head commander for Pro Heroes task forces. I concluded that fighting someone like an inexperienced Midoriya would probably be nothing he has not done before at least twice", she concludes.
Midoriya (White Dragon) vs Yoro Musha
Result: Win for Yoro Musha
"A fight between Midoriya and the number ten hero, Gang Orca, would be a straight melee. If kept on dry land, it would end in a victory for Midoriya", Ayano says, "Possible reasons for this would be because Gang Orca's signature move, which paralyzes his opponents, would more than likely have no effect on Midoriya if he shares the same immunity to such a technique that all True Dragons do. Gang Orca's thick skin would protect him for a time but no doubt Midoriya would get him wore down enough to finish him off with his ice breath attack."
She then stares at the screen for a moment, her brow furrow, before speaking again.
"In the water would be a different story though for while all true dragons are adept enough swimmers, the Killer Whale Hero would easily overwhelm Midoriya in the depths", she finishes.
Midoriya (White Dragon) vs Gang Orca
Results: Victory for Midoriya on land. Victory for Gang Orca in the water.
Ayano then pushes away from the desk and marvels at her notes and the computer screen before replaying the audio recording. She does this three more times before finally coming to a silent conclusion.
She then shuts down the computer and leave to aid the others in the upgrading of the agency.
A/N: Like Ayano said, the last part was all speculation and I only added it in for worldbuilding purposes since not much is known about Yoro Musha besides that he only became a hero for the praise so I decided to tweak him just a bit.
Also, believe or not, Momo was not giving off killer intent when she was about to attack Izuku so the dragons wouldn't have help him and he would have gotten his ass beat if she had followed through though that also means she would have had to deal with Itsuka and Himiko. And before you think I changed Momo's character too much, remember that as far as she knows, Izuku is the reason she lost her recommendation and she worked hard to get it. The real reason why she lost it will be revealed next chapter along with the way she earned it in the first place.
Special note: the original concept I had was Momo challenging Izuku to a duel to see if he was truly worthy of being trained by Ryukyu, but that seems too out of character for her.
