Hey there, time to get into another franchise. Last year and this year I have been really into Critical Role. Like I don't watch every episode religiously, but I watch a good amount that makes me understand what is going on. All thanks to Vox Machina dropping out last year on Amazon. I love how it shows to me a guy who never was into DnD and show all the big possibilities that it can has. Also, I love all those voice actors so this is also a big factor.
What if instead of the appearance of Dragons Vox Machina relaxed a little bit before being send to another world?
The group of Vox Machina will be teleported to a new world where heroes dominate everything. However, can they survive and fight for the forces of evil or good? Is like Straw Hats vigilantes but this time we will have Vox Machina.
At the world of Ecandria
The once really mocked group now declared heroes Vox Machina were celebrating their great victory. How do you do that? You pay off a tavern to forget that you banished them from ever coming there, right now the great group was having a party to celebrate how awesome they were.
''More booze! I want more!'' Said Grog wanting to drink until he blacked out.
''Coming up sir!'' Said a bartender.
The whole group was in the tavern and doing all they could to have a great time.
''Come on! Is that your best beer! Hit me something stronger.'' Said Vax looking at his mug
''Calm down, the night is still young we might find something better to drink.'' Said Vex trying to calm her brother.
''Urgh.'' Said Keyleth throwing up again.
''Please don't make a mess again.'' Said Pike trying to make sure they didn't get in any sort of trouble again.
''Hey ladies, who wants to hear the braves stories of the great Scalan?'' Asked Scalan talking with some women in the tavern.
''Urgh, again we have a night with puking.'' Said Percy looking at his wine glass.
''Where is the booze? I don't like to wait!'' Said Grog annoyed.
Soon a new person arrived in the tavern shocking everyone excepted the Mercenary group. It was the princess of the kingdom, lady Allura Vysoren.
''Well Vox Machina, it appears the rumors of you causing havoc in the local tavern were true.'' Said her with a smile.
''Yo Princess, nice to see you.'' Said Scalan.
''Its been a while miss Allura. What do we own the pleasure?'' Asked Percy.
''Well there were some missions that some of our soldiers weren't able to finish and we want to see what this is all about. In the end I was thinking…'' Said her but Vax knew what she was going to do.
''So you want us to go on a little suicidal mission that not even your soldiers were able to do? Hard pass.'' Said Vax.
''We are not considering this a suicidal mission, we think there is something odd in the North part of the mountains and we weren't able to get any results. Every time we send a team of people there they disappear. I thought since you all managed to surprise the kingdom with your adventures you might be able to see what is going on.'' Said Allura.
''Oh I see, you think just because we are high shit now we will take any big job. Well no, if it's to get rid of us just wait a little longer.'' Said Vex.
''I thought Vox Machina was supposed to brave and fearless. Could it be after your victory you all became soft?'' Asked Allura.
The answer was like a slap in the face towards the group, they were a lot of things, but they were not going to stay around and let someone tell them they are soft and weak.
''Are you calling us weak!'' Asked Grog.
''Calm down Grog.'' Said Pike.
''No, I am saying that if you are all still the brave adventures from before then this mission should be easy for you all.'' Said her.
''Well we aren't getting soft, in fact we might want to keep going.'' Said Pike.
''Say princess…what this is all about?'' Asked Keyleth
The princess went to whisper something to the group so nobody else could hear them.
''I am here to tell you all something really secret. We were too busy with the dragon, but now this is coming back to be our main interest.'' Said her.
''Uh what is this all about?'' Asked Scalan.
''Some believe that there is a mystical cave full of secrets at the top of the north side of the mountains. Like I told you all every tiem we sent people there they tend to disappear and never be heard from again. I don't know what is going on since we sent troupes around there and no sign of a monster or a dragon is ever spotted there. We think we might be dealing with a creature that doesn't belong in this world.'' Said her.
The group of mercenaries heard that and was completely shocked and otherly confused at the same time. What could be so powerful that could wipe out people without leaving a trace or even a single clue. And something out of this world? What does that mean?
''Interesting.'' Said Vex
''If we do this what do we get?'' Asked Vax.
''Each of your weight in gold.'' Said her making the group excited.
''Oh I like that.'' Said Vax.
''More gold means more booze!'' Said Grog.
''Brothels aren't cheap. I need to pay some debts in some places if I want to return.'' Said Scalan.
The princess just looked a bit discussed but she got used to the group of mercenaries being all full of themselves and be otehrly manic about everything that they want.
''You all are totally unique characters.'' Said Allura.
''Its our style milady.'' Said Percy.
''Alright Vox Machina we depart in a few days, we need supplies and see what are we about to deal with."' Said Vax.
The entire group and even their bear nod at that. Vox Machina was back in action with a new adventure.
A few days later.
Vox Machina was now all ready to leave and do their new expedition. They bought enough supplies to last two weeks, food and other crap that they might need. Pike was reading the map given by the castle so they could know where they were going.
''So how long is this going to take?'' Asked Ketlyn
''Its says we need to walk about three more paths and then we will get there.'' Said Pike.
''How do people get lost or disappear in places like this?'' Asked Scalan.
''Apparently it has something to do with a creature from another world, whatever the hell that means.'' Said Vex
''Probably some hot creature. I wonder how they look like.'' Said Scalan.
''What kind of weakness do you think they have?'' Asked Percy.
''I don't know but we will try everything we have.'' Said Vax.
''Maybe we can crush its head and bring as a trophy.'' Said Vex.
''Ooooh! Can I keep it?'' Asked Grog.
''Lets see what we get there.'' Said Pike.
Later
The group finally arrived at the desination that was apperanlty the last place that a lot of royal soldiers were seeing. There were no bones or armor remains, just dirt and rocks all around
''Oh the cave.'' Said Grog.
''We can see Grog.'' Said Percy.
''Should we look around for traps?'' Asked Scalan.
''I guess that would be a good idea.'' Said Ketlyn.
The group saw that it was about to get dark and the moon tonight was a bit different from it usually was.
''Uh the moon is with a different color tonight.'' Said Scalan seeing a blue moon.
''A blue moon, they are rare. They only appear twice a year.''' Said Ketlyn.
''So we should be lucky to see such a thing?'' Asked Percy.
''I don't know. I am not even a big fan of the moon.'' Said Vax.
The group saw that there was no trap around the cave and decided to investigate the insides. Of course they had their weapons ready for anything that might try to attack them or something. However, once the moon was in a perfect position and shining at their fullest near that cave an event would happen.
''Look at the walls.'' Said Ketlyn.
''Something is happening'' Said Pike not liking this.
''If come out we will crush it to death.'' Said Grog.
''I don't know we can do this to the walls.'' Said Calan.
The walls started to glow, and some ancient writing appeared.
''Its glowing some weird language.'' Said Vex.
''Uh what does it say?'' Asked Pike.
''Come on, do we look like bookworms?'' Asked Scalan.
Then the walls got even brighter, to the point that the group could barely see what was going on around them.
''Man, this sheet is hurting my eyes!'' Said Scalan.
''Grog try to break these walls.'' Said Pike.
''Hey I am feeling some really bad energy coming out!'' Said Ketlyn.
''Look out.'' Said Vex.
Vox Machina couldn't see but a bright light soon surrounded them and teleported the group out of their world and to another one. In another dimension where Magic was almost a myth.
At the My Hero world.
Vox Machina couldn't feel but they were teleported a cave near the city of Musutafu, this was like a little cave near a road and they didn't expect this to happen.
The truth is that that cave was portal and every time the moon shine its light, it send people to some random universe. The group ended up being send to a world where they wouldn't know what was going on.
''What happened?'' Asked Ketlyn.
''Did we died?'' Asked Scalan.
''How the fuck I am supposed to answer that?'' Asked Percy.
''I don't know.'' Said Scalan.
''Should we leave this place?'' Asked Ketlyn.
''Lets mash our way out of here.'' Said Vex.
''Grog.'' Said Pike.
The giant man did what he was told and broke their way out of the cave. The rocks weren't that hard and he could walk out fine.
''Great, I guess we ended up in the wrong side of the mountain. I can see grass nearby.'' Said Percy
The group decided to walk a little more and they heard some noise. They soon walked up a little mountain to see where they were.
They thought they were in a nearby village, however what they saw was unlike anything they have ever seen before.
''Uh guys.'' Said Ketlyn in shock as the rest of the group.
''What?'' Asked them.
''I don't think we are in the mountains anymore.'' Said Ketlyn.
Vox Machina was now in the modern world. Seeing buildings, cars and all kinds of electronics devices all around. Not only that there were giant creatures and monster walking among humans. This was truly a place for the legends.
''Wow!'' Said the group.
This is it. Vox Machina arrived at the hero world and they are now up to start chaos and see if heroes can handle their shits. I am not going to make things just like Straw Hats vigilantes, just expect to see a lot of blood and a bit of nudity in this one. Well have fun and let's go.
