Hi everyone. Welcome to another series. You know that One Piece is my favorite manga/anime. But recently I been in love with The Promised Neverland, I bought just one volume and I couldn't stop reading and after that I bought almost every single volume and while I haven't finished yet, I love the world, I love the characters, I love the atmosphere, I love that we get a proper female main character that isn't stuck to the styles of Sakura or others. Emma is the main one while Norman and Ray are the supporting.
And there is the issue with the anime. I ended season 1 and I loved it, but I heard what they did with season 2 and…yes. After 4 episodes I dropped because I couldn't believe how they were butchering the story. I don't know if this was a studio decision or a producer who hated the series, but this was a huge mistake. You couldn't have mad profit every year and this series isn't like My hero, Black Clover or One Piece. Its sad that we don't get to see a lot of favorites characters pop out in the anime. So here is my treatment, a good old crossover. Instead of immediately meeting Mujika and Soujo the kids will meet some very inspiring figures. Now enjoy the tale.
15 of January of 2046.
This day would be marked forever in the world. Because it would be the day that 15 children escaped from the orphanage Grace Field. Led by the older kids Emma and Ray, the children managed to escape the so thought impossible place and were now free from being delivered to demons as food and now could only thought about surviving and taking care of each other.
At the woods Emma and Ray led the other kids towards their freedom.
''Come on guys.'' Scream Emma to the little kids
''We have to keep going.'' Said Emma.
The kids were all running in the woods full of excitement and energy. They were all running with so much joy and hope in their eyes, because for the first time they weren't restrict to one place.
''We are free!'' Scream most of them.
Emma still looked away and thought about all the other kids that stayed there. All the little ones that were going to occupy Mama time so they could have a chance to run. While still hurt Emma to run with not all of her siblings she knew this was for the better of the escape plan.
''I will be back in two years.'' Thought her.
Also, she was also thinking of Norman, one of her best friends that was recently ´´adopted´´ and while she thought he could be dead, Emma had a feeling that the boy could still be alive and being captive somewhere. So, its was up to her, Ray and the rest of the Grace Field kids to find him.
''We will get you Norman.'' Thought her as she ran in the woods.
''Emma come on!'' Scream Ray getting Emma back to reality.
''Right. Let's go!'' Scream Emma as she ran alongside her brothers and sisters.
Meanwhile in another part of the world.
The straw hat pirates were sailing on their new ship the Thousand Sunny that they just got from their new crewmember Franky. Despite his pervert attitude the carpenter was a really cool guy. Right now, it was a very slow day, the crew was sailing toward Fishman Island where they would hope to embark towards the New World. It's been only a few days since they left water Seven and they were all relaxing since they didn't have any marines to deal for a while.
''Boy it's a very quiet day.'' Said Usopp looking around.
''This is how I like it.'' Said Zoro relaxing with a bottle of booze on his hand.
''I gotta say that this new ship is pretty awesome.'' Said Luffy running up and down.
''Yeah, it has more room to have fun.'' Said Chopper.
''But no ship would ever compare to the sacrifice that Merry did. God bless her soul.'' Said Usopp with teary eyes.
''The Merry funeral was just a few days ago. Cant you all relax, we had enough emotions for a while.'' Said Zoro not so suttle.
''Merry!'' Scream Luffy, Usopp and Chopper with river of tears.
''Can you all knock it off! She is already gone.'' Scream Zoro all annoyed.
''How dare you say that to the first ship of the crew.'' Said Usopp all sad.
''You are heartless Zoro!'' Scream Luffy.
''Heartless.'' Said Chopper.
''Shut up!'' Scream Zoro all pissed.
Robin was observing this whole scenario from the second floor of the ship where she was having some nice tea and just enjoying the view. Near her Sanji was getting some sandwiches for her.
''Guess no matter what ship we are those idiots will keep making noise.'' Said Sanji while smoking his cigarrete.
''What can I say, this is the type of place for me.'' Said Robin with a smile.
''Of course Robin chan. Your place is here on the Sunny with me, Nami-swan and all those other pieces of garbage.'' Said Sanji all love mode as he walks off.
Robin could only laugh at that as Nami goes at her.
''Oh boy is he again in that stupid mode?'' Asked Nami all tired.
''So, miss Navigator any news on the way to Fishman Island?" Asked Robin.
''Well, we have full course, if we don't take any stop we can arrive at the red line in a few days. After that we just need to gather supplies and find a way down.'' Said Nami.
''Truly is amazing how far we came. First passing the grand line and now fully embracing the idea of going to the New World.'' Said Robin.
''don't look at me, this is all Luffy doing.'' Said Nami pointing at Luffy while Robin laughs a little bit of that.
Soon it didn't take long for the Straw Hat captain started to complain for not being in action for a while.
''Hey guys how about we go into an island?" Asked Luffy
''No way, we need to keep on track if we want to reach the Red Line.'' Said Nami all strict.
''But I am bored.'' Said Luffy whining.
''Here have some sandwich and go play later.'' Said Sanji.
''Oh thanks Sanj.'' Said Luffy already eating.
''Honestly.'' Said Nami all in disbelief.
''Good job in keeping him distracted.'' Said Usopp whispering to Sanji ear.
''Ok everyone dinner will be served in an hour. Remember in an hour.'' Said Sanji to the crew.
Dinner time.
''Man, this dish is delicious.'' Said Franky enjoying dinner with a bottle of cola in his hand.
''Of course it is. We made sure to get the best chef possible.'' Said Luffy
''Next time get more booze, there wasn't enough tonight.'' Said Zoro to Sanji
''oh, shut you mosshead. You don't deserve not even a drop in the first place.'' Said Sanji
''Why you…'' Said Zoro all pissed and the two were ready to attack each other. However…
''Stop it!'' Scream Nami punching them.
PUCNH
''ouch.'' Said Zoro with a bruise
''Sorry nami-swan.'' Said Sanji all in love mode.
''These two are hopeless.'' Though Usopp with a sweat drop.
Robin could only laugh at that. That scene never stop to amused her.
''Ha it seen I made the right choice. This crew is too much fun.'' Said Franky.
''Yeah Franky now all we need is a musician and we will be the best crew ever.'' Said Luffy.
''That is a specific thing to ask.'' Said Franky confused.
After dinner was done Nami decided to go into a specific subject for the night.
''Listen everyone we need to decide who is going to stay awaken to sail the ship at night if it needs.'' Said Nami.
'I went yesterday.'' Said Usopp.
''And I did two days ago.'' Said Sanji.
''I went last week.'' Said Chopper.
Nami looked around to see who could be next. She couldn't let Luffy because the last time she did that the Ship was going on the opposite direction. She didn't wanna do it and she imagined that Robin need it some rest, so she had no other choice.
''Zoro you will be in charge tonight.'' Said her to the swordman.
''Me! Why!'' Asked him all annoyed.
''Because you slept most of the day. Tired you are not.'' Said Nami
''Yeah Zoro you are pretty much sleeping all day long.'' Said Chopper.
''You are pretty much a rock when you are sleeping.'' Said Usopp.
''You dumbass.'' Said Luffy laughing at that.
''Stupid mosshead.'' Said Sanji.
''Do you all wanna become sashimi?'' Asked him all pissed.
''No thank you.'' Said the four in unison.
Zoro knew that this was pointless and if he try to argue Nami would call again his ´´debts´. So, he decided to just do that stupid job.
''Alright, but I am going to need booze to stay awaken.'' Said him.
''Here is a bottle of wine.'' Said Robin giving him her wine.
''Thanks.'' Said Zoro grabbing the bottle and going outside.
''I dint know you drink it.'' Said Franky.
''I don't usually but I had a guess that he would need that.'' Said Robin.
''You are still full of mystery Robin.'' Said Usopp.
''Robin-chan is perfect in every way.'' Said Sanji.
''Does this guy keep this stupid face every time he talk to each girl?" Asked Franky.
''Every day.'' Said Usop with a tired sigh while Luffy laughs.
At Midnight.
Zoro was doing some pushups just for started before he begins his intense work out routine for the rest of the night. While he was doing his exercise, he notice some fog up head in the distance and by the looks of it the Sunny would pass there very soon.
''Man this fog is going to be hassle to deal later.'' Said him seeing the problem.
The swordman then imagined what could be awaiting them at the fog. Probably rocks or some pirate wanting to loot the ship. Since he didn't wanna the new ship to get wrecked already he had only one thought n mind.
''Better turn the ship.'' Said him.
He went to the ship wheel and saw a note printed there. Probably done by Nami.
''don't you dare turn the ship dumbass!''
''Oh screw you witch. Is too foggy and I don't wanna receive the blame if we get hit.'' Said him tossing the note in the water.
Zoro did a little turn on the wheel just enough to get the ship out of the fog direction.
''Done.'' Said Zoro all satisfied.
However little did the swordman knew that the direction that he put the ship in was for another fog and this one instead of heading them to the Florian Triangle this would send them into a more dangerous zone where pirates ship have also know to be disappearing for decades.
''Ok, time to do my midnight work out.''' Said him now only focusing in training.
The Thousand Sunny was heading n direction for the set of Fog while Zoro did his workout and later slept. Not knowing the danger that he put the crew in.
Back to the year 2046
The kids were exploring the giant woods that they were. In the way of escaping Grace Field they were also seeing just how big the outside world was, but also they need to run because Emma and Ray knew that it was a matter of time until a demon appear.
''Hurry up. We need to keep going.'' Said Ray to the younger kids.
''Sorry Ray. We are doing our best.'' Said Thomas.
''Come on, we better keep going or we will lose our track.'' Said Don
''You sure are the master in trails?!'' Asked Gilda.
The kids while walking were also blow away over how big the world was from what they have seen in books and study at the orphanage. This was truly mind-blowing for them to see it with their own eyes.
Emma now need it to make sure that her and everyone could survive because it would be a while until they be in perfect peace.
''We need to check if the water from that river is not polluted or toxic. If not, we better get supplies there.'' Said her
''That is a good point. Humans can survive up to three days without food or water. If the water isn't polluted, we better get food there also.'' Said Ray.
''Yes, I know.'' Said Emma.
''But besides that, do you have another destination in mind after that?'' Asked Ray.
''Easy, we go south.'' Said Emma smiling.
''South. Why?'' Asked Ray.
''because that's where we will find Minerva. At point B06-32'' Said Emma showing Ray the pen that belonged to William Minerva.
Emma then give Ray the pen and instruct him how to use correctly.
''Ray just press that part again.'' Said her.
''what?" Asked Ray pressing the pen and soon a map appeared holographic form.
Before Ray could even had a chance to study the map trouble arrived for the party.
Thomas one of the little kids of the group was walking with Lani another little kid and suddenly he disappeared from the sight.
''Lani! Where are you?' Asked him all worried.
Emma and Ray were first trying to figure out what was the next step when they saw Thomas running toward them.
''Huh?'' Asked the two.
''Thomas what's wrong?" Asked Emma
''Lan is missing.'' Said him all sad.
Emma and Ray then froze in fear over this. They didn't wanna imagine starting loosing any of the kids at this point already.
''How is that possible? Was he attacked or did you two separated?'' Asked Emma all worried.
''No, it wasn't any of that. He just disappeared.'' Said Thomas all sad.
''He just disappeared?'' Asked Ray.
''But how?'' Asked Emma holding Chris another little kid, because after this she didn't wanna loose anyone out of her sight.
Everyone was now starting to get worried and look for Lani everywhere. However, Ray got a worst feeling than that.
''Ray! I will look at the surrounding and…'' Said Emma but Ray cuts her.
''Wait.'' Said him.
The orange hair girl didn't know what the boy was saying but by his look it wasn't good.
''Strange Emma.'' Said him
''What is it?' Asked her.
''No answers. Almost none.'' Said him.
The reply from Ray gave Emma a chill on her spine. She didn't wanted to imagine almost half of the kids have been already capture by the demons.
''This way!'' Scream Ray.
The four went ahead to where Don and Gilda were walking with the others and soon were shocked and horrified to see that there was no one there. Everyone besides them was gone.
''No!'' Said Ray in shock.
Emma was now with tears in her eyes, and she felt that all that hard work was all pointless if the demons have already capture them so easily.
''Guys.'' Said Emma all sad.
Back at Sunny.
Now fully rested the crew heads out to start the day proper.
''Oh man this was good night of sleep.'' Said Usopp getting out of bed.
''Yeah, without moss head snoring is the best way to sleep like a baby.'' Said Sanji.
''Do you have to insult Zoro every day?" Asked Chopper now getting tired of that.
''Yes.'' Said Sanji like this was the definitive answer.
The straw Hats were all out of their rooms and as soon Nami took a look on how the course of the ship she pretty much looked messed up.
''What that…AAAAAH.'' Scream her.
''Something wrong Nami?' Asked Luffy worried
''We are not on course. These are not the same patterns and signals that are towards the red line.'' Said Nami shocking everyone.
''You set us to the wrong direction?' Asked Luffy
''No way I wouldn't….'' Said Nami and then she realized something.
She saw a very stinky and snoring swordsman on the floor looking like the laziest person in the world. Nami didn't have no other choice but to kick him.
KICK.
''Ouch. What that hell.'' Said Zoro all confused.
''You! You changed the course of the ship, didn't you?!" Asked Nami all mad.
''if I hadn't, we would hit a pretty dense fog. Is not my faut you put me in charge of sailing the ship at night. If anything is your fault.'' Said Zoro.
''I will….'' 'Said Nami now kicking Zoro ass.
Ouch
''So, Zoro screw us up?" Asked Usopp.
''don't worry, I´m sure miss navigator can find another course for the new world in these waters.'' Said Robin.
''AAAAAH she is pretty much killing him! Someone call a doctor.'' Said Chopper running from side to side.
''Is you.'' Said Luffy
''oh right.'' Said Chopper.
Soon Nami got herself more calm and Chopper went to treat Zoro wounds. The swordman didn't care a bit for that. He did what he thought was right.
''So, Moss head is the reason that we are not in the course for the mermaid island?" Asked Sanji.
''Yes.'' Said Chopper putting more medicine on Zoro.
''I see…. I shall crack your skull and see if there is any meat in that hollow husk!'' Scream Sanji
''Oh shut up you pervert. There is more in life than loosing blood.'' Said Zoro.
''Yeah, like what?'' Scream Sanji all pissed and the two looked like they were ready to brawl again.
''Those two are something ein.'' Asked Usopp with a sweat drop.
''Yeah, but Zoro-bro was right. If we would keep in that direction, we would end up in the Florian Triangle.'' Said Franky
''The what now?" Asked Luffy.
''I will tell you later reindeer.'' Said Franky.
''I wanna know now!' Said Chopper like a little kid.
''So, miss navigator any clues of where we are?" Asked Robin.
''The log pose isn't pointing anywhere. I need to see if I can set again, I just hope we can find a place quickly. I don't know how long we can maintain ourselves in the middle of the ocean.'' Said Nami.
Luffy who was sitting on the head of the Sunny was looking to see if he could spot something cool on the way. For his luck he did it.
''WOW!'' Scream Luffy getting the attention of everyone.
''Hey luffy what's wrong?'' Asked Usopp.
''I found an island!'' Scream him pointing towards the island direction.
The crew saw the island. It looked like a desert one, not in the same way as Alabasta but in the way that it appeared that none lived there because there was only trees as much as the eye can see. It looked like there was nothing but grass and trees for kilometers. But hey there might be food in there.
''What?'' Asked Nami confused.
''Yeah look.'' Said Usopp looking with his googles.
They all took a better look and while it had a creepy vibe like usual, it would be good to see what part of the grand island they all are inn.
''How? By this whether I thought an island would be impossible to be spotted.'' Said Nami confused, by the looks this appeared to be the only island in the oceans for thousands of kilometers. It was like a prison island.
''How weird.'' Said Franky.
Robin however fascinated by the appearance of said island. It spoke to her, like full of mystery and things to be learned. Something that she always crave for.
''Look, it appears to have vast vegetations and a rich fauna.'' Said her.
''yeah, I can see that too. Maybe there are some mysterious herbs and other plants still not discover in modern medicine that resides there I think.'' Said Chopper.
''Uh a mysterious island.'' Said Luffy with stars in his eyes.
Luffy and the others quickly went to the mysterious island with no name and decided to stop there to look for information. Once the Sunny hits the shore Luffy jumps off from his ship.
''Hurray! Let's go!'' Scream Luffy running towards the forest.
''Luffy wait! We need to dock the ship.'' Said Nami.
Before they could even chase him, the crew all worked together and docked the ship in a rock nearby.
''Here is all set.'' Said Franky with a thumbs up.
''So, let's get that idiot.'' Said Sanji.
Soon Luffy was all immersed in the great jungle of the island. It looked like the ones from his childhood kingdom, he didn't know why but he felt something weird in that place. Almost nausea and losing focus.
''Huh. What is wrong with my head?"' Thought him.
''Hey Luffy wait.'' Said Usopp running alongside most of the crew to meet up with Luffy.
''Yeah!'' Scream the rest.
Everyone soon gather near their captain and soon saw him with very painful looks.
''Are you ok Luffy?" Asked Sanji
''Yes, just a headache.'' Said him with a smile.
''Take this, swallow one now and another in an hour.'' Said Chopper giving Luffy some pills.
''Sure Chopper, thanks.'' Said Luffy taking the medicine.
''don't go running away Luffy.'' Said Usopp.
''This place doesn't look safe, besides if we let Zoro on his own, we will never find him again.'' Said Nami
''Hey!'' Scream him.
Everyone took a minute to see where they were. It was a huge forest with trees that looked like they reached the sky.
''These trees are taller than the ones in normal islands.'' Said Robin
''Are we in Elbaf?' Asked Sanji.
''No way, if this was Elbaf we would be greeted by a giant warrior in no time.'' Said Usopp.
''Aren't the giants' bloodthirsty people?" Asked Chopper.
''No way, don't you remember Oimo and Kashiii? Once we tell them we know master Dory and Brogy we would be good.'' Said Usopp.
The group kept walking towards the woods and felt kind a bad vibe all around. Almost like there was something ready to attack them.
''This forest is with a killing vibe.'' Said Sanji smoking his cigarette.
''Yes, I can't wait to fight whatever is in here.'' Said Zoro with a smirk as he prepare his swords.
''So, we better stay on put?" Asked Franky
''I don't know. They are like this all the time.'' Said Robin with a smile as she carry her backpack.
Nami, Usopp and Chopper of course were all trembling in fear in that huge forest and they were expecting a huge bear to appear to eat them.
''I don't like this place.'' Said Nami.
''Me too.'' Said Chopper trembling.
''Yes, my I will die If I go to dangerous dungeon disease is acting up. I need to get back to the Sunny.'' Said Usopp.
Luffy however while enjoying the walk in this mysterious forest suddenly felt something odd. It was like he could sense someone near.
''Huh?'' Said Luffy.
''Something wrong Luffy?'' Asked Robin.
''I feel that there is people near us.''' Said Luffy to his crew.
Luffy words made the rest of the straw Hats be prepared for anything. However instead of hearing a big monster growling they hear someone voice.
''Don! Gilda!'' Scream Emma far away.
Luffy heard that and now was excited because there was people in this island after all.
''Hey, did you all heard that?'' Asked him to his crew.
''yes, I did. Who said that?'' Asked Zoro wondering.
''I don't know. Maybe a damsel in trouble? Calm down miss, your knight is coming!'' Scream Sanji.
''This way!'' Scream Luffy running.
''Luffy wait!'' Scream Nami as her and the rest of the crew try to catch on with their captain energetic attitude.
Luffy started to run as fast as he could without the use of Gear 2. He wanted to meet a habitant of this weird island and to know if there is something outside of this huge forest.
Back to the kids.
Emma and Ray were looking everywhere for everyone and they were starting to look pretty shaken by all this.
''No they couldn't have been capture. Not right now.'' Said Emma in tears.
''Calm down Emma. Stay focus, they weren't capture. Let's just try to see what is happening.'' Said Ray trying to calm her.
Soon they got even more worried when they heard something coming towards their direction.
CRICK
''Wait did you heard that?'' Asked Emma now frighten.
The group all got together, and Ray got some sticks to act as some kind of defense, it wasn't going to work but it would by them some time. Emma was also front, but she was protecting Chris and Thomas, in reality she was also pretty shaken and scared.
''Please don't be a demon.'' Thought Emma.
However, it wasn't a demon, but it was a human. A boy that looked like older than Emma and Ray, with a red shirt and wearing a straw hat.
''A human!'' Said the group.
''Kids?'' Asked Luffy confused
Luffy didn't know who those kids were but looking at their faces of shock, he could guess it that he was the first person they seen in a while. The pirate didn't know that he and his friends were now in a world full of demons that eat people and the way to get back home is unknow.
So here we go the first chapter. The usual style of the two groups meeting up for the first time. Luffy first meeting with Emma and Ray I think is nicely done. Next chapter will be the continuation of the situation and how the groups are going to work together. See you all next time.
