Hi there, its been a long long time since I made the last chapter. I am sorry for the massive delay, I hope everyone here are ready to see the Straw Hats fight these giant monsters from The Promised Neverland. I remembered when I was reading Promised Neverland like it was my favorite book, ah the memories, I just hope one day we can get justice done for that series. Thank you all and lets see.
The Monster trio were seeing those giant demons creatures barging and going towards the kids and pirates.
The kids were all frozen, just wondering if Luffy, Zoro and Sanji would be able to handle those monsters. Emma just saw those things as big than the ones doing business with mom, she didn't know if these pirates would be strong enough to handle these creatures.
Before she could even think of another thing Sanji disappeared. She looked to see him in midair with his leg aiming right at the creature skull.
"Concaseur!'' Scream Sanji hitting one of those hug thing right in the skull, cracking their weird stone like mask.
BAM
The kids upon seeing that were in pure shock, Sanji pretty much caused a huge concussion to that giant creature, something they never expected a human be able to do it.
"What?! What did he do?'' Asked Ray in shock.
"Sanji-kun is a chef but he is a really strong one.'' Said Nami with a smile.
"Nami-swan, Robin-chan are you two ok?! Did you all saw that?'' Asked Sanji with hearts in his eyes.
"Yes, we saw that Sanji-kun.'' Said Robin with a smile.
The kids were in beyond schokc over what was going on, Sanji didn't even looked like he was tired or had his shattered in half, he looked fine and apparently could go a few more rounds.
"What is going on?'' Thought Ray.
Then it was Zoro turn, even thought he had just two swords he could still make sure these things were down for the count. He saw that Sanji had only taken one.
"Just one useless cook. I can take a lot more with my eyes closed.'' Said Zoro.
Soon he enter in position while a group of those demons were going towards him, he soon prepared the attack.
"Two sword style: Nitoryu Iai: Rashomon!'' Screamed him as he charged right towards the monster.
SLASH
The creature soon screamed in pain as he got probably the biggest cut in their life's, Zoro just looked at those mosnters with a disappointed looked.
"I thought you guys would be tougher.'' Said him.
The kids were beyond amazed at Zoro cool and calm attituded once he was finished with these beasts.
However Nami and the rest seemed to be seeing this as normal.
"Zoro, make sure he is dead. We cant take any risk.'' Said Chopper.
"What do you think of me? An amateur? I know dead when I see one.'' Said Zoro.
Then it was Luffy turn, the Straw Hat pirate saw the last batch of demons coming towards him but he didn't show any fear in his eyes, despite those things looking like giant creatures who wanted to eat him.
"Mister Luffy run!'' Said Emma worried.
"I never run from a challenge! These guys sound like fun to fight!'' Said Luffy.
Then he stretched his arms at a good length, enough to make the kids some kind of goosebumps. He then redirected them back to attack the monsters.
"Gomu Gomu no Bazooka!'' Scream Luffy hitting the big one and sending the others flying towards the tree of the florest.
BAM
"ARGH!'' Scream the monsters hitting the trees as it stack on top of each other.
The kids of orphanage just looked at that in beyond shock, three people managed to beat these monsters. These gigantic things that looked like came out of people nightmare.
"Yeah! We won!'' Said Luffy all simple.
The other straw Hats just took step forwards to see their friends, making sure the kids were saved and that there is nothing to be worried about it.
"See, they can handle it.'' Said Nami.
"Yeah, because they were guided by me! The great captain Usopp!'' Said Usopp.
"So calm down, as long they are with us we should be fine!'' Said Chopper.
"I believe you're still a bit shaken, but with time this will become regular for you all.'' Said Robin.
"Hey Franky why didn't you went to fight these monsters?'' Asked Chopper.
"I don't know if these things are able to survive my fire or my cola powers. Once I see they are not I will be kicking butt in no time!'' Said Franky.
The kids just decided to put their safety in their pirates hands, Emma and Ray would guide them to safety while the pirates would make them get to their destination in one piece and not letting a single monster scratch them.
Emma was just glad that now there was people helping them, Ray was still not sure on what these people were. They didn't know what kind of opinion would Norman would have about these pirates.
"Hey Sanji, can we eat them?'' Asked Luffy.
"I am not cooking these things!'' Said Sanji.
"Do you even want to know how these things taste?'' Asked Zoro.
"I mean they have meat, so they must be tasty.'' Said Luffy.
As Luffy was looking at the demon as if he was a cow who was ready to be turned into barbecue he noticed some eyes at him and the others. He turned to see the kids look at him in wonder.
"What is it?'' Asked Luffy.
Then the young kids of Gracefild went towards Luffy, Zoro and Sanji as they hugged them with tears in their eyes.
"Thank you!'' Said Chris.
"We thought we were going to be dinner!'' Said Lannion.
"We want to get strong!'' Said Thoma.
"Please don't leave us!'' Said Yvette
"We don't know how to fight!'' Said Rossi.
The monster trio had different reactions to all these kids thanking them. Luffy was all normal, Zoro wasn't having none of them while Sanji was trying to still play cool.
"Come on kids, this is nothing. These monsters don't compared to the bums I would kick out of the restaurant I used to work.'' Said Sanji making the kids be a little calmer.
"Yeah! They were nothing!'' Said Luffy all happy.
"Stop with all these snot bubbles!'' Said Zoro all annoyed.
Emma and Ray were beyond speechless over the display of power in front of them. They didn't know how they got this strong, the world outside of the orphanage was still a lot to be thought about it. Emma was amazed by it while Ray tried to make rational connections to these powers, but nothing was coming up.
"Woah! This was amazing.'' Said Emma.
"They are…. something.'' Said Ray trying to make any sense.
"Do you think we can get as strong as they? '' Asked Emma.
"Maybe, if we had time and no obligation to do. Both things that are our priorities.'' Said Ray.
Ray was just wondering if these devil fruits were the result of such powers, if they had devil fruits would they less threaten towards these monsters. He knew that it wasn't just these fruits, but he knew that some added it power would be appreciated.
"What else the world is hiding from us?'' Thoguht Ray wondering.
Don and Gilda were also speechless on what was going on. A few days ago they only imagined that sister Krone was the strongest person they have ever meet, but they put the poor woman to the floor.
"This is…'' Said Don in shock.
"Amazing.'' Said Gilda.
Emma looked at the demon that the monster trio defeated; she had a look of shock.
"What is it Emma?'' Asked Nami.
"These monsters aren't like the ones that me and Norman saw it. They didn't have tails, had small mask, were human side and had clothes too.'' Said Emma making the others be in shock too.
"What! So there are things like this that can talk too!'' Said Chopper in shock.
"Maybe there are different classes of these monsters. This one is more animal than human, if they the ones you saw were able to do negotiations than some kind of evolution has happened to this specie. What do you think Ray?'' Asked Robin.
Ray tried to process everything, maybe Robin was right, maybe there was some kind of species of these monsters and the ones that Emma saw were the ones that evolved.
"I don't know, but let's keep this in mind. It just means that it will be more difficult than I even imagined.'' Said Ray.
The two groups just took notice of that and the black-haired kid was right. Some of these monsters might be as easy to deal as if they were a wild animal, while some might be as tricky as a cunning person.
Luffy however didn't mind that, all he knew was that if he saw a monster he would beat them up until they were down.
"Don't worry kids! My crew and I can beat these creatures! No matter what size we will kick their ass and make sure you all are ok and…'' Said Luffy and then they heard a huge roar.
"ROAR!''
The two group then saw a giant demon coming towards them, it was three times bigger than the ones they fought. This one looked like the boss of the small group of creatures that they fought a few seconds ago.
"What!'' Said Usopp and Chopper in shock.
"Another one!'' Scream Nami.
"EEEEEEEEH!'' Scream some of the kids horrified as they went behind the pirates.
"Don't worry! We can kick his ass too.'' Said Sanji while smoking his cigar.
"I don't think this one is going down that easily.'' Said Ray.
"I agree, its like a wild animal on a rampage!''' Scream Chopper.
"Can we eat this one?'' Asked Luffy.
"No!'' Said most of the kids.
Nami then had an idea, it would buy them some time as they run like hell.
"How about we make him be very slow.'' Said Nami.
"Good plan! Any idea?'' Asked Emma.
"Guys, take down these trees! Make sure to burry him on that.'' Said Nami.
"Zoro!'' Scream Usopp.
"On it! But I am not a lumberjack!'' Scream Zoro.
The swordman soon used his swords skill and make at least a dozen trees fall on the huge monster. The plan worked, but from they were seeing the creature wasn't going to be down for long and they needed it to start running.
"Ok, I got it!'' Said Zoro.
"Now let's run!'' Scream Nami.
The two groups started to run as fast as they could. The creature was soon out of the lumber prison and he was super pissed.
"Roar!''
The groups just had a horror look in their face, it was pretty clear that the demon wanted to eat them not just for hunger but because he was super angry.
"We need to hurry!'' Said Usopp.
"Its way bigger than the little ones that we fought, which means he is faster.'' Said Emma.
"Man, how are we going to make sure these creatures are down?'' Asked Franky.
"Not sure, he might be more resting than those little ones.'' Said Ray as they run.
The groups didn't know what to do, the creature was looking for the kids as he wanted to eat them as if was small cubes of meat.
"Let's split!'' Said Don leading a group with the small kids, Emma, Ray and the Straw hats were going to another direction.
The creature then saw the two groups going on different directions and like an animal he didn't know who to follow. He stopped and sniffed the air, trying to look for the cloest group of its reach.
The Straw Hats were hiding behind some trees as they saw that monster angry.
"He is pissed.'' Said Usopp shaking.
"Of course we are taking away his meal.'' Said Sanji.
"Don't call us meal!'' Said Ray.
"Sorry, but in the food chain this is what he sees us.'' Said Sanji.
Luffy was seeing that the creature was in a good spot, he wanted to fight him and have some fun along the way. He knew that creature would be tough but he didn't see the kids nearby and he wanted to beat that monster until he retreated.
"Alright! I am going to pummel that ugly thing face!'' Scream Luffy running.
"No Luffy! You can't…'' Said Emma but Nami but a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't try it. Not worthy.'' Said Nami.
As Luffy was about to fight the monster something really weird happened out of the blue, a notion of a blade moving was heard and the creature head was cut off from its body.
SWING
Luffy had his face covered in blood as he looked more confused than shocked at that moment.
"Uh?'' Asked Luffy confused.
Everyone saw the creature dead on the ground, they knew it couldn't have been Luffy since he didn't start screaming or pummeling the monster into a paste.
"What…'' Said Emma confused.
"Zoro! Did you killed him before I could fight it?''' Asked Luffy.
"That wasn't me.'' Said Zoro.
"Then who did…'' Said Nami and then they heard a new voice.
"Found them.'' Said the new voice.
The group saw new demons, but they were more in key with the ones that Emma described. They had more human size, were wearing clothes and was even talking in something that could be like a communication.
"We're bringing them back at once. There is also some people that weren't on the list, we will capture them and interrogate. Disgusting. Imagine an inferior race touching our merchandise.'' Said the hunter demon.
The older kids, plus pirates were now tense at the moment. The monster trio prepared to start fighting again, while Emma and Ray were prepared to what might come.
"Who is this guy?'' Asked Franky.
"Probably our pursue.'' Said Ray.
The pirates and kids just had a sensation of chill down their spines. The fact that this hunter took down that giant demon with ease just showed their difference of strength.
So yes, we are ending here, and it was a good chapter. We saw how strong Luffy, Zoro and Sanji are against the regular demons like beasts.
I decided to make some changes in these chapters, this way it's not just carbon copy from the original work. Like the kids feel a lot easier now and of course Luffy would try to attract the monsters to fight them one a one.
I am sorry if a lot of you wanted more from this story, I will try to update more in the future so just be patient ok.
