Hey there, you all wanted to see a new chapter and here we have. Saitama will be on the Justice League satellite and show to many heroes what he can do. I am still amazed that there aren't more One Punch Man x DC comics stories, they all try to do some weird tale or put an OC, because that's what I wanted, I am being sarcastic by the way.
So what is going to happen now? Let's see.
At the Justice League Satellite.
Using the multi teleporter the Justice League was all back to the Satellite, Saitama and Genos were also among the heroes, Superman having already give the command for the teleporter to take the young heroes.
"Welcome to the Justice League satellite.'' Said Superman to the two.
"And where is at? Near the supermarket?.'' Said Saitama.
"We are in space master, look.'' Said Genos pointing at a window.
Saitama went and saw the beauty of the Earth from under him, seeing that and the stars was the dream of many of people across the world, but Saitama had only one reaction.
"Neat.'' Said Saitama all simple.
"We need to move, the test are over here.'' Said Batman.
"Ok, but can you guide me because I feel I might get lost.'' Said Saitama.
"Sure.'' Said Superman.
The other members of the league just watch Saitama casually walking around the satellite, looking so calm and with not a single reaction in his face. Either he is good on hiding his emotions or he was super chill with everything.
"So how long will these tests take? I need to prepare dinner.''' Said Saitama.
"It will only be a few hours; you will be home before midnight.'' Said Superman.
"Ok, that's sound good.'' Said Saitama.
"Don't try to rush things, we will take the test as long as we want.'' Said Batman all serious.
"Master time is precious; he will leave as when he feels he needs.'' Said Genos.
'Calm down Genos, we don't want cause any trouble, besides this stuff looks expansive, I don't want for us to break anything here.'' Said Saitama.
"Understood master.'' Said Genos.
The other heroes just had to accept that Genos fully embraced Saitama, like maybe there is a way to make him stop worshipping the bald hero, but if a few people saw what Saitama was able to do then he would already at least 3 dozen followers.
"He is calm, very calm. That's kind of weird.'' Said Black Canary.
"Way more than I imagined. Dude killed a monster that was holding the Justice League with just one punch and acts all casual. I don't know what he does but I wish I was this chill.'' Said Green Arrow.
"I sensed from Batman mind that he also wants to do a DNA test, seeing his material organism for clues.'' Said Martian Manhunter.
"There is a shocker there.'' Said Plastic Man with a laugh.
"I mean after seeing that strength who wouldn't feel paranoic.'' Said Hawkgirl with some sense.
"We fought creatures from other realms, aliens from light years of distance and pretty much or copy cats. People that can match our power, but I never expected seeing someone with this level of power.'' Said Zatanna worried.
"He is a threaten, plain and simple. Plus, ugly.'' Said Hawkman.
"I don't like wigs because they make me look weird.'' Said Saitama proving that he could hear everything they were saying and that made some of the heroes feeling a bit embarrassed. It was like High School there.
"I am sorry for this, we will discuss with them later.'' Said Superman.
"That's ok, people make fun of me all the time. So, what kind of test are we going to do?' Asked Saitama confused.
"It will be a variety, don't worry they wont hurt or be complicated.'' Said Superman.
Saitama just nodded it as they were about to start the test.
First Test: Identification.
Superman showed to Saitama a big computer screen, there was in the screen pictures of the various alien species that the League has encountered over the years. From the small ones to the big scary ones that come down to Earth to attack and try to conquer it.
"Saitama, this is a list of innumerous aliens. Have you all meet any of them? '' Asked Superman.
The bald hero saw the list of all those aliens, in true he never meet any of them, but he thought at first those were aliens from Television.
"No, I am sorry.'' Said Saitama.
"That's ok.'' Said Superman taking note.
Second test: Lying detection.
The justice league has wired up over to a dozen Lying detectors through Saitama body, Wonder Woman even had the lasso of true wrapped around the bald man wrist. They only did this kind of true test when Batman created Sanctuary to make sure he wasn't going to archive people confession.
"These are all lying detection test, you know pretty standard Polygraphic tests for procedure.'' Said Superman.
"And this is the lasso of truth. Is powerful weapon that will make you spill any kind of lie you have, I know it might seem a bit excessive, but we want to make sure your speaking the truth and nothing but the true. Do you understand this Saitama?'' Asked Wonder Woman
The bald hero was completely lost on this whole thing, so he decided to lie anyway.
"…yes.'' Said him causing a lot of those equipment to explode due to his cheer anxiety and holding up a lie.
Boom
The Lasso of Truth even started to stop glowing for a moment, that shocked Wonder Woman and the entire league since they have never seen something like that before.
"Diana, what happened?'' Asked Superman.
"I think it couldn't handle that big lie.'' Said Wonder Woman flabbergasted with such thing.
"We can call cyborg or Mister Terrific to get some new equipment.'' Said Superman.
"Yes, but it can take a few hours.'' Said Wonder Woman.
"So how are going to do this process?'' Asked Superman.
"I have an idea.'' Said Batman with a plan.
Later
Soon Batman plan came, they would ask Saitama, and he had to be honest. For every honest answer he would get some free candy, which for the bald hero was better than nothing.
"Did you only train and nothing but train?'' Asked Superman hearing Saitama heartbeat to make sure he was telling the true.
"Yes!'' Said Saitama all serious and the Kryptonian heard that the heartbeat was normal, so it was true.
"Good, here.'' Said Superman giving a piece of candy.
The rest of the league kept seeing that in just confusion. The three most powerful heroes of the world doing questions to a mysterious bald guy as if he was a little kid, giving him candy for every right answer.
"Is this for real?'' Asked Hawkman.
"Don't judge my master!'' Said Genos.
"What are we going to do with you?'' Asked Green Arrow just facepalming.
Third Test: The writing portion.
"This is the only writing section of our test Saitama. Its nothing difficult, you just have to answer simple questions about heroism. There are 100 of them, but you can finish them with no pressure, do you understand?'' Asked Superman all calm, but Saitama was anything but calm.
"uh…'' Said Saitama
"You have an hour, do as much as you can.'' Said Batman.
"Sure, an hour should be enough for me to finish it.'' Said the bald hero with a smirk as he looks at the test.
59 minutes later
Saitama hasn't answered a single question, despite that being a simple test he felt like he was doing quantum physics, not having a single clue on what to do and how to answered it. The other heroes were seeing him all frozen and looking so lost.
"How long do I have?'' Asked Saitama.
"One minute.'' Said Superman.
The bald man didn't hesitate, he just answered without even looking at the answered. Filling the blanks that was the closest, he knew this was a bad idea but he didn't wanted to go back to do any tests.
"Here! It wasn't that hard.'' Said him shaking a big.
"Ok.'' Said Superman.
Wonder Woman and Batman just had a look of serious on their faces upon seeing that.
"He is lying.'' Said Wonder Woman.
"Big time.'' Said Batman
Fourth Test: Exercise
Now there was the test that everyone wanted to see, the physical exercises to see what kind of limit Saitama had on his strength.
"Ok this is the final test, come with me.'' Said Superman.
The bald hero was then brought to a massive room, full of equipment of exercises that range from regular to ones the size of a tall tree. There was even a huge track to run and an Olympic pool in there.
"Woah! That's a lot.'' Said Saitama.
"Yes, we have enough equipment to work with almost every hero on the planet. Plus there are so many different sizes that there is no short of variations in here.'' Said Superman.
"Neat.'' Said Saitama.
The trinity were ready to monitor Saitama test, they were feeling like Gym teachers than heroes. Meanwhile, Genos and the rest of the League were watching on the side just to make sure.
"So what kind of exercise I am doing?'' Asked Saitama.
'Just some standards, nothing too difficult for an athlete.'' Said Wonder Woman.
"Can you do them?'' Asked Batman.
"Sure.'' Said Saitama.
"Master, do you need any sort of assistance or beverage?'' Asked Genos to the side making the other heroes a bit worried.
"Don't worry Genos! This will be a quick one. Stay there quiet, it won't take long.'' Said Saitama.
"Very well.'' Said Genos all quiet.
The heroes were now fixated on this test as if it was a big game, it was time for them to see what Saitama had in terms of endurance or limit.
Superman was going to instruct the exercises.
"Ok, let's start with something easy. Do side by side jump, as fast you can for 30 seconds. Go!'' Said Superman.
Soon Saitama chill and calm face was gone and he went all serious, the trinity felt a change around his presence, it was more threating than calm which was alarming. Then Saitama started to go side to side on his jumping, while he wasn't as fast as Barry it was still beyond human speed. Most of the League was in shock of that and some were with their jaw dropped.
"Impressive.'' Thoguht Superman.
"By hera!'' Thoguht Wonder Woman.
"Is he really human?''' Thought Batman.
Superman had a ton of questions to Saitama about his speed and strength, but he decided to keep going.
"Next, a 1500-meter run. Go!'' Said Superman on the track.
Saitama dashes faster than the fastest Olympic runner in the world, he finished the track around 12 seconds which was beyond impressive.
"What the hell!'' Said Captain Atom.
"Is this speed force?'' Asked Aquaman.
"No, he doesn't have Speed Force.'' Said Flash in shock.
"Oh my god.'' Said Black Canary.
Superman was amazed by that speed, while he could tell Saitama couldn't fly that speed could save so many people.
"Impressive, now lifting weight.'' Said Superman.
Soon they got as many weight to put in the bar bell so Saitama could lift. They already have put over 500 kilos.
"Is this enough?' Asked Superman.
"No, too light.'' Said Saitama.
Then Superman put 100 more kilos.
"What about now?'' Asked Superman.
"Nothing, still very light.'' Said Saitama.
Then more 100 kilos were put it.
"What about now?'' Asked Superman.
"How about you put what you think should good enough?'' Asked Saitama.
Superman nodded and grabbed as much weight as he could, if Saitama could lift that than this mean he could trade punches with a Kryptonian which is still something very rare to see.
The League watched in shock as Superman put weight after weight after weight in that bell. The bald hero just looked at that unfazed like usual, just wanting to lift that bell like he was asked to.
"Try now.'' Said Superman.
"Ok.'' Said Saitama.
Saitama then lifted a 1.5 ton weight, with one hand and he looked like this was still nothing.
"Holy cats!'' Scream Shazam in shock and he was someone that could handle Superman.
Superman kept a count on how long Saitama could keep up holding that bell, at first 20 seconds passed and then nothing happened, then 30, then 40, 50 and then a full whole minute passed. This was beyond insanity, even people who get super strength can't handle all this amount of weight as if it was nothing.
"Enough, the exam is over.'' Said Superman.
Saitama dropped the weight in the floor, causing a little bit of noise and he looked otherly calm upon holding all that.
"This was good, I should do more lift ups.'' Said Saitama all calm.
The Justice League saw that in pure horror, if that guy had this amount of strength and wasn't with them then things would be bad for the league. They still have no idea on how Saitama got this strength since nobody was buying the exercise speech, he must have got some power from aliens, magic, heritage or some other way to get powers.
They saw him calm and smiling, not even feeling a bit tired.
"He is not even sweating.'' Thoguht Wonder Woman nervous.
"So how I was? Did I do good?'' Asked Saitama and Superman was honest.
"Saitama, you might be one of the strongest beings I ever meet.'' Said Superman shocking a lot of people, him saying that meant a lot.
"Oh really, cool.'' Said Saitama all simple.
"Yes, its really cool.'' Said Superman with a chuckle.
"Wait!'' Scream Genos
The entire league saw Genos rushing to be near his Master, the heroes were now wondering what was going to happen next;
"Master didn't cheat! If that if you're all thinking! I saw everything and I can show to you all.'' Said Genos.
"Don't worry Genos, we are not talking about that, I saw the whole test myself and I am not here to point fingers, I am here to do the opposite.'' Said Superman.
"What are you talking about it?'' Asked Saitama.
"Saitama, would like to become a member of the justice League?'' Asked Superman.
The entire league felt this was coming but that still felt a little bit of a surprise, Saitama was strong there is no doubt about it, but he was still naïve and kind of frustrating to deal with. Getting from small hero from a member of the Justice League was quite a jump.
"Superman you're not being…'' Said Batman ready to intervene but the man of steel cut him off.
"Batman, after seeing this demonstration the place that Saitama to be the most is with us. We can teach him the way of heroism and how to use his strength for a better world. What do you say Saitama? Would like to become a member?'' Asked Superman.
The league looked at the cape baldy who knows was making a small smirk on his face.
"That would be cool. Fighting bad guys all the over world, meeting new people, sure beats laying around bored in apartment. Hell, I can even find the person that can handle my strength. So, how much would the salary be?'' Asked Saitama.
"Oh we don't get paid.'' Said Superman.
"Eh?!'' Asked Saitama with a shocked face. (Author Note: Imagine a shocked face drawn by One in the Manga drawn by Murata)
This is the end, yeah, I am sorry, but I wanted to finish on a funny note. Saitama realizing he wouldn't get a dime from doing all this hero work, if he had to choose being a hero or doing random jobs, he would choose be a hero. Although I still don't know how Saitama pays for his apartment before he meets Genos, like I know the Cyborg pays for everything know but how was Saitama banking that place before, I know it's a crammed place and in Japan they are kind of cheap, but I don't know, I think unemployed checks maybe.
After this we will do some wrap up for this and then set up future events. I want to introduce Sonic soon and have some funny moments, plus planning what heroes from the DC universe will meet up with the One Punch Man ones.
I know the writing and set up here aren't the best but I am having fun and a lot of people are aggreging with that. I hope you all have a good time and be safe!
