Author's note: this is my first Danny phantom story, I thank Cthulhu rex, emyy250 and Martinseg for helping me, and the story takes place after the events of phantom planet.

Eros, the phantom of love, floating in her realm of hearts and flowers, rubbed her chin with a thoughtful expression. "I need a plan," she murmured, her eyes glowing with magical intensity. "How can I help Paulina get Danny? And more importantly, how can I keep her future from turning into a tragedy?"

At that moment, a ghostly figure materialized in front of her. Clockwork, the master of time, with his violet cloak and piercing red gaze, hovered over Eros. "Are you still determined to change the past?" asked Clockwork, his gravelly voice echoing in the air.

"Yes, Clockwork. I'm sure I can help Paulina. She just needs a second chance, a chance to change things so her future won't be so painful," Eros replied, determinedly.

Clockwork sighed. "Eros, you know you can't stop time from flowing naturally. You have to remember that your previous attempts have ended in disaster. You have failed in iconic romances: Romeo and Juliet, whose fates were marked by tragedy; Pyramus and Thisbe, whose deaths were the tragic culmination of a misunderstanding; Orpheus and Eurydice, separated by death itself; and Tristan and Isolde, where their love was crushed by war and law. Tragedy has always been their destiny, and you cannot interfere."

Eros made a gesture of resignation. "That's true, Clockwork. Those were my first attempts, my past mistakes. I'm much better at my job now, I can manipulate reality more subtly, almost imperceptibly. But Paulina is not like them. She deserves a chance."

"My words are serious, Eros. Although you act more subtly now, your interventions can cause unpredictable chain effects, catastrophic consequences that even I cannot foresee. Sometimes, time must take its course, however painful it may be. Life is full of lessons we must learn, and I cannot interfere with that process," Clockwork explained, his tone firm but understanding.

Eros nodded, accepting Clockwork's reasoning. "I understand, Clockwork. But still, I feel called to help Paulina. She needs a second chance to find happiness."

Clockwork shrugged. "That's your decision, Eros. But remember, I cannot interfere. Your power is far greater than mine, but it's not unlimited. Be careful."

With a final flash of light, Clockwork disappeared, leaving Eros alone in his realm. Within her burned a fire of determination; she had a plan, one she could not share with Clockwork. A plan that depended on her ability to manipulate memories and control the perception of reality.

At Paulina's house, the family dinner was turning into a strange role-playing game. Paulina's parents, unaware that Paula was actually their daughter from the future, treated her with a mixture of affection and curiosity.

"Paula, dear, what do your parents do for a living?" asked Paulina's father, whose name was Ricardo, his voice full of interest.

Paula, with a nervous smile, made up a story that she thought would be convincing. "My mother is a flight attendant and amateur stylist, and my father is a traveling consultant. They travel a lot, so I don't see them very often."

Paulina's parents, whose names were Mariana and Ricardo, accepted her answer without suspicion. Paula even pretended to talk on the phone with her parents, imitating their voices to make believe they were really talking. When Ricardo and Mariana tried to ask her to pass them the phone to talk to them, Paula pretended that the call was cut off.

A minute later, Paula's phone rang again. She answered it, and on the line she heard Eros' voice. "Paula, now!" whispered Eros, his voice full of excitement. "Pretend you're talking to your parents. I can imitate any voice. I'll help you convince your 'uncles'."

Paula was surprised, but then nodded. "All right, Eros, what do you want me to do?".

Eros, with amazing skill, mimicked the voices of Paula's parents, who didn't actually exist. Paula, with phone in hand, passed the device to her "uncles."

"Mariana? Ricardo?" asked Eros, imitating Paula's mother's voice, with a tone full of affection in his voice. "Hello Ricardo, hello Mariana. I'm Francesca, I wanted to know how you are and how is Paula? Yes, I'm fine, the food here is delicious...".

Eros, changing his voice, now imitated the voice of Paula's father, Rodrigo. "Sure, Ricardo, I'll be glad to talk to you later. Bye, Mariana, see you soon."

Ricardo and Mariana, unsuspectingly, said goodbye to their "sister" and "brothers-in-law", and Eros, pretending to be Paula's mother, said goodbye to his "sister", "brother-in-law", "daughter" and "niece" before hanging up the phone. Unbeknownst to them, Ricardo and Mariana began to treat Paula as their own daughter. However, Ricardo, noticing the strange situation, cleared his throat. "Mariana, don't you think we are being too affectionate with Paula? She's Paulina's cousin, not our daughter."

Mariana, feeling a little uncomfortable, nodded. "You're right. It's strange, I feel like I've known her all my life."

Ricardo and Mariana exchanged nervous glances, both aware that something was not right, but not knowing how to explain the strange sensation. They decided not to give the matter more importance, at least for now, and simply keep a certain distance from Paula.

Once Ricardo and Mariana retired to their rooms, Eros materialized in front of Paula and Paulina, with an enigmatic smile.

"Well, girls, it's done. Your parents don't suspect a thing. Now, we have to focus on Danny," Eros said, his tone turned more serious, as if the tension of the moment was running through her.

"Do you think it will work?" asked Paula, uncertainty palpitating her voice.

"Of course it will," Eros replied, but his voice carried an echo of history. "I am Eros, the goddess of love. I can help any couple, no matter how difficult their situation. But I have to warn you, not all loves are simple to mend. I have had my share of failures, as in the case of Romeo and Juliet, or the tragic outcome of Pyramus and Thisbe, who took their own lives for love, and Orpheus and Eurydice, separated by death itself. The love of Tristan and Isolde was forbidden by war and law, a love that could never find its way. Although I have helped thousands of couples find happiness, those failures are important lessons I must not forget. Love, sometimes, can be the most painful path."

Paulina and Paula were surprised to hear Eros' story - were Romeo and Juliet real, not just characters in a book? Eros, with a wistful smile, nodded. "Yes, they are real. And although I can't change the past, I can help them have a better future."

Eros stared at the two Paulinas, his eyes glowing with a magical light, but the air was filled with tension. "What will we do now, how will we convince Danny?" he asked, his voice cracking with the gravity of the situation.

Paulina, with a look of hope, took Paula's hand. "I don't know, Eros. But together, we'll find a way. We have to make Danny believe us, make him understand that our love is genuine."

Eros smiled, but there was a shadow of unease in his expression. "I trust you girls. Together, you can change destiny, but remember-the road to love is full of uncertainties, and every step you take could be crucial."

"To be continued..."

Author's note: what did you think, please comment, and Eros wanted to say that there are things from the past that are difficult to change, by the way I would like to make a comic of this story but I'm not good at drawing, if someone is interested in helping me to turn it into a comic and can do it without charging (not that I don't want to pay is that I can't) send me a private message.
