Naruto was standing in front of Padme. "I'm sorry Naruto, please repeat that.'
"Padme, I am resigning my post as your official advisor," said Naruto with a sigh.
"What are you going to do than?" she asked.
"I have been appointed as Captain in the Grand Army of the Republic at my request," said Naruto.
"Why?"
"Padme, I know how you feel about this war. Trust me I do, however, if me joining can shorten it then so be it," said Naruto. "As well as find out who pulling the string."
Padme gets up from her desk. Walk to Naruto and hugs him. "Be careful," said Padme.
"You have my word," said Naruto.

Naruto was at the hanger on the capital planet. "Are you ready for this?" asked Master Plo.
"It's been a while since I have lead armies," said Naruto.
"The Galactic War," said Plo
"This is what I call irony in it's purest form," said Naruto. "I am now fighting for the Republic as opposed to against it."
"Do you regret your choice?" asked Plo.
"Now, no I never believed in the Sith philosophy back then," said Naruto. "I never took joy in killing another person."
"Now, our target is the defense of Dantooine," said Plo. "We have had word that a separatist armada is heading there.'
"Very well," said Naruto. "We should plan our strategy."
Naruto was sitting with both Master Plo and Admiral Yogo as fair skinned man with a broad build. "We should encamp our forces here," said Plo. "Close to the city."
"If I may Master," said Naruto. "That would not be wise?"
"Explain captain.'
"Of course. Dantooine is known most for farms and opens spaces," said the blond. "Admiral can you bring up the map of the planet?"
Yogo nods his head. "Of course.'
"There are five major farms they could land troops," said Naruto. "Based on the size of the warships. Here, here, here, here and here."
"What do you propose?" asked master Plo.
"Look at the terrain around the farm do you see anything?" asked Naruto.
Master Plo thinks for a moment. The Admiral eyes widen. "I see.'
"Admiral," said Naruto.
"Yes, all farms have either passes or cliffs," said Yogo.
"Exactly," said Naruto. "Get some AA Tower here and here, to cover all five farms," said Naruto. "Two position our trooper in the passes surrounding the farms.'
The admiral thinks for a moment. "That could work.'
"How would you know they would land on those farms?" asked Plo.
"The proximity to the capital of Dantooine," said Naruto. "Admiral, I need you to do something for me.'
"I'm listening.'
"After dropping the forces on plant side. I need you to position yourself to the far ends of the system. Keep our fleet unnoticed until the battle starts on the ground," Naruto explained. "After several hours I want our fleet to launch a surprise attack on the enemy capital ship. Either incapacitate or commandeer. If you're not able to destroy them. Afterword send fighter support assist on the ground."
"A sound plan," said the Admiral.
"Is that plan fine with you Master Plo," said Naruto.
"Why ask me?"
"You are the general," said Naruto. "I need your confirmation to proceed."
"I agree to the plan."
On the planet's surface, Naruto was positioning the troops in his location. "Keep the line of communication open," said the blond. "I sent Master Plo to the capital city to get some form of defense ready."
In the sky several transports of the CSI start to send drop ships. "Shoot as many of them down as you can," said Naruto. "The Anti Air turrets start to blast the drop ship out of the sky. Destroying many of them of them. The drop ship that made it unloaded the B1 battle droids and they started to march.
They head toward the pass as clones level their blaster rifles and start to take out the first wave.
In space the CSI ship was getting another set of dropships ready. "Inbound ship Admiral," said communication officers.
The admiral, who was a dark-skinned human turn to the port view and his eyes widen as several Capital ships appear. "Launch fighter squadron."
On the Republic command ship Admiral Yogo turns to his flight officer. "They are launching fighters. Let send our own to greet them."
The Republic sends out several squads of fighters as the capital ship gets closer. Have our fighter take out the shield and send a boarding party to capture the ships."
Sir," said the flight officer.
The battle on the ground has stalled for the droid army, but the clone were starting to tire out. One of the clones threw a grenade that lets out an ion blast shutting down the advancing droids. The other passes were holding out as well."
Naruto shot another droid with a sniper rifle. "Got to thank Jorgan for training me in other weapons."
The space battle has turned into a stalemate. In the hanger of the Republic ship several dozen clones with jetpack flew out of the hanger. The ship got right next to a CSI Capital Ship. The clones quickly made it into the hanger and started to fight their way up the corridors. The floor of the ship is littered with Battle droids. They make their way to the Bridge and take out the guards. The CSI Admiral sighs. "Enough I will not have a loss of life at this point. We surrender.'
The clone in charge of the boarding party sends out a message. "I need you to tell your ship to stand down."
"Understand corporal," said the Admiral. "This is Admiral Deiago. All ships stand down and surrender we have lost this battle."
Outside, the other capital ships power down their lasers. "Order the droids shut down," said the clone.
"That is not possible. The droids are being controlled by a ship outside the system."
The droid army was faltering as any reinforcements were destroyed before they made it to the battlefield. The last of the B1 and B2's were destroyed after several more hours of fighting. Naruto turned to the commander. "I will be heading to the capital for a debrief. Hold the line just in case."
Yes sir."
Naruto got to the administrative building. "Captain," said Plo. Your plan was a massive success.'
On the holo-call was Master Yoda, Master Windu and Palpatine. "Well done. Master Plo was just debriefing us on the battle," said Palpatine. "The senate has voted to promote you to general of all Republic forces in this area.'
"Thank you, Chancellor. I will strive for victories," said Naruto.
The image of Palpatine turns off. Naruto eyes narrowed. "I can tell that Palpatine was displeased with the promotion," said the blond.
"He opposed it. Said only Jedi should be generals," said Master Windu. "We persuaded the senate otherwise and they vote 100 percent to give you the rank.'
"That's a surprise," said Naruto. "I will see you all for further briefing.'
