Things were getting out of hand. All that Glow could say about these heroes and heroes in training are too black and white, good and evil. They ignore that not everything will be like that. Sometimes, you need to see the world in shades of gray. Sooner or later, these heroes and heroes in training will encounter a situation that calls for them to look at it in shades of gray, and they will fail. It will cause more people to lose trust in heroes as a whole than when the explosive blonde got kidnapped by the League of Villains. She had to do something before it was too late. And that was what she was going to do.
With a snap of her fingers, the exact heroes and heroes in training that Glow wanted appeared in seats that she had placed facing a giant screen. The screen has a wheel slowly spinning with many different universes listed. The people she brought were waking up, so she had to ensure they could not get up from their seats.
"Where are we!" And there was the explosive blonde she was mentioning earlier.
From the corner of her eye, she could see the underground hero, the only one who knew the gray part of the world. He was looking straight at her. Well, he wasn't the only one. Nedzu was doing the same thing.
It took a few minutes for everyone to calm down enough for her to leave her spot. When she did, many almost started screaming again.
"Shut it," her eyes glowed similarly to the black-clad underground hero. It was effective, that was for sure. "I have one question for you all." She paused, which gave many the excuse to glare at her. "Do you know what true heroics are?"
Endeavour opens his mouth to speak but is interrupted by the being in front of them. "No, true heroics are not fighting or winning."
"True heroics is helping everyone, ignoring if they are civilians, heroes, or villains. When fighting someone, your main priority should always be the innocent bystanders to the fight." Everyone turned to the green-haired boy with bright red sneakers. He blushes at the attention.
The being opens her mouth with a smile, but it fades into an annoyed look when the blonde in front of the boy starts yelling at him. "Don't be stupid! Fighting the villains is always the most important thing!"
He tried to continue his screaming fit, but no sound would come out. "I'll say this once, fighting the enemy is never the main point of heroics. Your teacher can attest to that seeing as he is the only one in this room who doesn't need to learn from this experience."
"And what might that experience be?" Nedzu asks, sipping at some tea.
Everyone turned back to her to see the confused face as she whispered, "Where did you get the tea?"
The mouse bear grinned, "You'll never know."
She shakes her head, "Alright. The experience I wish for all of you to learn is that not every situation you come across will be clean-cut. Black and white. Good and evil. Sometimes you will face a situation where you look at things in shades of gray. Understand that heroes are not always good people, and villains aren't always going to be the scum of the Earth."
The underground hero adds, "For instance, I have worked with multiple vigilantes to arrest people. They don't have any restrictions when getting information, and give them to the police or underground heroes."
"Exactly. You are here to watch heroes from different universes. Sometimes the term hero is something as simple as a person helping another. Not every universe has powers, but that does not mean much when you don't need powers to be a hero."
No one knew what to say to that. All Might was looking like he wanted to disagree with the last statement. However, he held back. If the person was telling the truth, they would see heroes without powers. He should at least wait to see what she meant.
Looking towards the screen as the wheel starts spinning faster. " You will now have a universe being chosen. Let's see what comes first."
