Sookie and Eric Forever
"You must come to Fangtasia tomorrow night," Pam tells me in a flat, angry tone.
"Why," I ask her as we stand facing each other on my porch.
"I am not allowed to tell you."
"Pam, please."
After a moment of silence, Pam begins, "There was once a stubborn, thinks she knows it all friend of mine, she refused to listen to beings who had thousands of years of experience. Although stubborn beyond belief, I realized that she only became so when she was faced with the unknown."
"I believed that if she was told the entire situation, she would have reacted in many cases, differently. I really couldn't blame her, since she was thrust into a world that she had no knowledge of and kept basing her decisions on the world she knew."
"It lead to many, many, hard hits for her but a few things were always true; she always got back up no matter what; she was loyal to all she called friend; she was always willing to help her friends, even when victory was questionable and the most significant of all; was that she never gave up on her friends or loved ones."
After a significant silence, Sookie sits down on her swing with her head in her hands. "So, what advise did you give her when she faced odds not in her favor?"
"Well, you see she never really took advice. She tended to act first and regret later.
But I believed that if she really thought about a situation from all angles, she would always come up with an answer. For instance, I believed that if she was being forced, say to divorce her husband because of a greedy bitch of a queen wanted what was hers, that she would realize the queen bitch couldn't steal her husband, if she DID NOT AGREE TO DIVORCE said husband. And as a Fairy Princess in her own right- a right by blood and birth, she would also realize she holds all the power."
"I would simply advise her to NOT to show up as they demand and to seek the help of her powerful family members. Because everyone knows that a higher ranking royal, such as a blood born Fairy Princess, cannot be made to do what she does not want to."
Sookie looks up at her friend and slowly nods, a smile coming over her face.
"Pam no offense, but I resend your invitation and every invitation of every vampire I have ever invited into my home."
Pam, with a wink and a big smile, nods at Sookie walking to her car. "I guess, Fairy Princess, I will see you when I see you!"
"You bet Pam, and thanks for the advice, my friend."
Fangtasia, the Next Night
"Where is she!?" asks the Queen of Oklahoma to no one in particular.
No one answers.
"Did she get the message to be here?" ask DeCastro.
"Yes, I told her personally last night," Pam responds.
"THEN WHERE IS SHE?" yells the Queen.
Pam gives her a raised eyebrow and shrugs her shoulders.
Eric, turns his head, hiding his smirk at his child's behavior.
"Well, CALL HER THEN!" demands the Queen Bitch.
Slowly, Eric, pulls out his phone and dials Sookie's cell #.
"Hi, you have reached Sookie! Sorry, I can't answer your call right now, but I am away on an extended trip, so it will be a while before I can get back to you. If you have any important concerns, please contact my lawyer, Desmond Catalides. BYE Y'ALL!"
Everyone sits in stunned silence. Pam is smiling big time, DeCastro looks confused, Eric looks concerned, and the Queen Bitch, looks shocked.
"EXTENDED TRIP! EXTENDED TRIP! SHE CAN NOT GO ON AN EXTENDED TRIP! I NEED HER TO DIVORCE YOU SO WE CAN GET MARRIED!" yells the Queen Bitch as she suddenly paces around the room.
"I DEMAND THAT SHE IS FOUND AND BROUGHT BACK HERE IMMEDIATELY! SHE HAS NO RIGHT TO DO THIS! CALL HER LAWYER! I WANT ANSWERS!" She demands looking at Eric.
Eric calmly dials the lawyers number putting the phone on speaker.
"Good evening, Eric, how may I help you tonight?"
"Good evening, Desmond…"
"WHERE THE FUCK IS SOOKIE STACKHOUSE? SHE WAS COMMANDED TO BE AT FANGTASIA TONIGHT SO SHE COULD DIVORCE ERIC SO I CAN MARRY HIM!" yells the Queen Bitch.
"Good evening your majesty. Mrs. Northman is on vacation visiting relatives at the moment, her return has not been decided yet," responds Desmond.
"I DEMAND SHE IS PICKED UP AND RETURNED HERE IMMEDIATELY!"
"Well, that is impossible," he responds.
"WHAT?"
"She cannot be commanded to do anything, by you or anyone else, so your demands are useless your majesty."
"Really! And why is that? I am the Queen of Oklahoma, it is my right!"
"In Oklahoma, that is correct, but here in Louisiana, it is NOT your right, it is mine! Sookie Stackhouse Northman is an asset of MY state" says DeCastro, actually feeling a headache coming on, as he corrects said Queen.
"Then I suggest YOU demand the return of Ms. Stackhouse immediately, or else your will regret it!" yells the Queen at the King!
DeCastro slowly stands up, "YOU dare to threaten ME?" demands DeCastro.
Both Eric, and Pam slowly stand backing away from the table. Catalides, appears in the room with his briefcase watching from the corner of the room.
"THREATEN? THREATEN? IT'S NOT ONLY A THREAT! IT IS A PROMISE! YOU BETTER DEMAND THE RETURN OF THE TELEPATH IMMEDIATELY OR YOU WILL REGRET IT DECASTRO, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?"
"CRYSTAL!" With a nod towards Eric and his sword. The Queen Bitch of Oklahoma is no more!
"Esa perra cree que puede decirme qué hacer. ¡Estúpida!," mumbles the King of Louisiana, Arkansas, Nevada, and now, Oklahoma.
DeCastro straights his suit and cape and turns to Eric, Pam and now Catalides. "Well, I guess this meeting is now over. Eric, I would like to give you Louisiana, and Arkansas. I will keep Oklahoma. I am no longer interested in dealing with a territory outside of my región," he tells them.
With a startled look, at Pam and then Cataliades, who nods his head, Eric accepts. Desmond, the lawyer extroidinare, quickly pullls out his laptop and prints out a contract.
Before the night is over, Eric Northman is now the King of Louisana, and Arkansas. De Castro is on his way to Oklahoma, after speaking with the Council, informing them of the changes he and Eric agreed to.
"Well, I think this calls for a celebration!" smirks Pam as she lifts her Royality Blended to Eric.
"Yes, I guess it does. I am no longer required to do anything I do not want to!" says Eric as he takes a sip.
"Congratulations your majesty," says Catalides.
"Thank you, Desmond. So where is Sookie, if I may ask?"
"I am right here Eric," says Sookie as she walks into the main room of Fangtasia.
"Sookie!" Pam vamps over to her giving her a hug!
"Hi, Pam. Did I miss anything exciting?" She asks, giggling.
"Ah, you know, just the usual! Murder, mayhem, betrayal, yadda, yadda, yadda."
"Ha, I am sure!" responds Sookie.
Suddenly, Eric and Sookie find themselves alone.
"Eric, I am sorry for misunderstanding your situation with Oklahoma, and I am sorry for being a know it all brat, and I am sorry for not trusting you more."
"Lover, appolgies accepted," he says as he takes Sookie in his arms.
"AND I am sorry for breaking the bond, it was a mistake and I would like to recreate it and I want us to stay married and live together as husband and wife."
"Really? You are sure?" asks Eric.
"Yes, I am. A friend finally opened my eyes and I know what I want."
"And what is that Lover?"
"You! And me together! Now and forever!"
"Well, I want that also, but Sookie, we won't have forever, not unless you agree to become a vampire."
"Actually, I spoke to my Grandfather earlier today, when I was in the realm, and he said that since my spark has matured while I was there, and I am fae bonded to you, I will live to an undeterminate age, as long as I visit the realm and drink your blood. Amazingly enough although I was gone from this realm less than 24 hours, I was there for a month."
"Lover that, this is magnificient! And I want to appologize for not explaining everything to you. I will make sure to include you in everything, I promise. And yes, I want forever also!"
With that Sookie pops them to Eric's bedroom where they reunite in love, blood and sex forever more!
The End
