Hello! Back with another story after a very long time lol. Sorry about that. I felt particularly inspired to write this. There is a lot I wish to discuss about, but I'll leave that on my profile whenever I decide to update it lol. Just know I LOVED Inside Out 2, a worthy successor, if not better. We have a series coming up too!
Anyway, enjoy this bit here, it's about Fear being a very frustratingly oblivious playboy. This is the introduction, the next chapters will feature in order:
Anxiety, Disgust, Joy and Ennui.
Have a good read!
After the emotions solved the issues at hockey camp, a new Riley was born, a Riley that would finally come to terms with her good and ugly side, a Riley with a new sense of self.
The new emotions now had more time to spend with the old ones, there still was a lot of catching up to do, but after a couple of weeks, they learned to know and appreciate one another. Anxiety still had problems sleeping but the others, especially Fear, were more than willing to help her relax. Her brand new massaging chair did most of the work. After a long day, thinking and overthinking, Anxiety would just plop in that chair and get some much needed rest.
Envy was still head over heels for Disgust, and though sometimes their interests did not exactly align when it came to Riley, Envy still had deep admiration for the green emotion. Disgust didn't think much of it, but she thought she was cute… maybe her sense of fashion needed to be redesigned, rather than copying what's popular.
Ennui didn't do much, she gave the occasional glance, and sometimes even intervened, but she was mostly confined to the couch, making sarcastic remarks whenever someone made a mistake. This was frustrating for some emotions, as they couldn't exactly talk back to her, not only because she doesn't care, but also because there isn't a lot to say about her.
The gentle giant Embarrassment was also getting adjusted to his new life in HQ. Though he was still mostly silent, he'd still intervene when needed. There also was a hint of sympathy between him and Sadness.
There was one emotion in particular a lot of emotions liked to talk about, especially the girls. Now that HQ was more crowded, rumors were noticeably harder to control and that could lead to… unforeseen circumstances.
