Haku and Chihiro reunited after three years!

Now 16, Chihiro goes back to her old hometown with her family. After her parents get sick from an unknown illness spreading there, Chihiro is determined to find a cure. She doesn't know that through her search she'll be reunited with someone dear from her past - a very angry god. TW / Death

My name is Chihiro, a young japanese girl. I fairly enjoy my daily life, in a simple and ordinary fashion. However, sometimes, I still find myself dreaming about there, about then ; about this peculiar elsewhere that I came across. But the memories are fading, slowly... Maybe, I would like to go back? I smile at the idea. We, living humans, after all, don't belong amongst spirits.

Chihiro is 18 years old, and is an outcast from her friends and family. After having wrote letters to Kohaku since she left the spirit world and having no response, she decides to leave her life behind to gather up her courage and enter the mysterious and horrifying world to not only find Haku, but to experience once again what it was like to feel free.

The years passed her by, the minutes ticked away, and the regret became greater and greater. If she could, she would've gone back in time just to see him again. She tried to imagine instances when he could've come back in those fifteen years. Those instances could have been reality, but he made her wait and time passed her by. (Long Drabbles)

It's been 15 years since Chihiro and her parents had a week wiped from their memories. Ever since Chihiro has been inspired to paint strange creatures and settings, unsure on where it comes from. He has been offered to return to the humanworld to see his river be reborn, but it requires him to bind himself to an unknown person for a while.
