Chapter 83 Great Power

Danny took in the new threats that faced him. He was surprised by Fright Knight's weapon and he could sense the Force from him. Danny also sensed a strange energy from the man with the staff. Fright Knight looked like he was going to attack Danny, but Freakshow stopped him with a raised hand and pointed his staff at Danny. At first nothing happened, but then Danny felt a enormous pain through his mind and he fell to his hands and knees.
"Surrender to my power Jedi! You belong to me now!" Declared Freakshow.
Danny gritted his teeth as the pain bombarded his mind and essence. Whatever that staff was it had some kind of connection to the Force. Danny took a deep breath and began to focus on using the Force to combat the staff's powers. He slowly began to push himself up to his feet and he started to get a nosebleed. Freakshow glared angrily at Danny and channeled more energy from the staff. Danny felt a greater source of pain and pressure on his mind, but he still persisted as he fully stood up to his full height and pointed a hand at Freakshow and his staff. A look of shock appeared on Freakshow's face as cracks appeared and spread across the orb on his staff. Then the orb exploded sending Freakshow crashing to the ground dazed.
"That...power! He is strong in the Force!" Gasped Fright Knight as he clutched his lightsaber tightly.
Fright Knight could sense Danny's power and he could see that Danny could pose a great threat to the Empire if allowed unchecked. He needed to strike the boy down, while he was weak. Fright Knight prepared to attack, but a new presence stopped him in his tracks and made him turn to the right.
Clockwork stood a few yards away with the Phantom disguised Tucker by his side. Everyone watched as Clockwork pulled out his lightsaber and activated it. The blade was a bright purple.
"Who are you?" Demanded Fright Knight a little surprised at the newcomer.
"I am Jedi Master Clockwork. A general of the Old Republic and the master of Phantom the man, who is currently standing beside me." Said Clockwork as he removed his hood.
"Not possible!" Shouted Fright Knight.
The crowd was amazed by this reveal, especially Bender who was recording everything.
"Oh I assure you it is. Now there's a little thing you should know. I have the ability to accurately see the future. Any attack you plan to launch at me will result in your defeat and death. Your best options are to either surrender or retreat." Said Clockwork.
Fright Knight was a bit taken aback by this, but he could sense no deceit from the Jedi master and as strong as he was Fright Knight could tell that Clockwork was far stronger then him in the Force. He deactivated his lightsaber and motioned for Vid and Thrash to grab Freakshow and follow him.
"We will meet again and settle this." Said Fright Knight giving Danny one last glare before retreating with his forces out of the arena.
The palace guards looked at Danny and Clockwork not sure what to do. It was then that Aragon came into the arena with even more guards and surrounded everyone.
"None of you are going to leave this place alive. I am in charge and what I say goes." Said Aragon with a sneer.
Danny looked at the dragon and focused on it. The big creature woke and shot to it's feet blasting fire at the guards forcing them to flee in terror. Aragon fell to his back in terror as the dragon turned it's attention to him.
"No! Nononono!" Cried Aragon in terror as the dragon approached him.
"Enough! Your free now. Fly away." Said Danny using the Force on the dragon's mind.
The dragon looked over at Danny and then it took off flying. The crowd cheered at the sight as Aragon cowered on the ground. Clockwork looked at Danny and smiled. His apprentice truly did have great power.
