"Are you out of your minds?!"

"Hank-"

"There was no possible way Jordan did this!"

"Hank!'

The yelling from everyone had made the older man cease his yelling, an angry glare on his face as he looked at Casey, Kelly, Erin and Jay. They had told them either Jordan had set the fire or she was set up for it.

"We need to talk to Jordan," Casey told him, calmly. "She may be able to give us something to work with if she does know anything"

"She's already said what she knows"

"Hank" Kelly spoke this time. "If we don't solve this ourselves then Jordan does actually go down for a crime she didn't commit. None of us want that to happen, we need to talk to Jordan and find out exactly what happened"

Erin stepped forward, she was one of the main people who usually gets Hank to listen to reason. "Hank, Kelly is right. We have to do a full thorough investigation if not then Jordy goes down for something that wasn't her fault. Let us talk to her"

The older man let out a breath and calmed down, he knew they were right. He didn't want his daughter arrested and thrown in jail for something she didn't do, he had been so hopped up on anger and adrenaline he didn't stop to think about things, his main concern was his daughter.

"They're stabilizing her from the seizure. It's going to be a bit"

"Hank, Erin said Jordan didn't want to be at school today. Would you know why she changed her mind?" Kelly asked.

"She said something about a big test, she didn't want to miss it"

"Has she ever mentioned anything about someone bothering her?" Casey asked this time.

"Jordan doesn't tell me stuff like that, she doesn't like telling me. She says she wants to fight her own battles"

Kelly knew asking this was going to be hard but it had to be asked. "Do you know if maybe Jordan slipped up and started drinking or using again? Maybe she slipped up at school and is afraid to tell you"

Everyone had seen the once depressed look on Hank's face disappear and turn into a hard cold glare. "Are you trying to say something Kelly?"

Casey then shot him a glare. "Back off Hank, we're trying to get everything out and investigate it all. Everything down to the last detail. This is a very important detail and we can't overlook or bypass it. It's hard, yes but it needs to be asked. Today is an emotional day for Jordan, could there have been a chance she slipped up and you didn't know?"

"No there isn't. I still test Jordan every few months to make sure. I tested her this morning and it came back clean and I check her stuff every night and every morning she didn't have anything"

"Would you mind having them check to be sure?"

"Look here Matt-" Before Hank could continue Jay pulled him away.

"That's enough, let's take a walk" Jay spoke sharply.

The detective pulled his boss away before the older man completely lost it, Erin sighed and looked at the two men.

"Sorry about that, he and Jordan take great offense and go hard on the defense about her sobriety" Erin told the two. "He didn't mean anything by it"

"I forget it's still a very touchy subject for them," Kelly spoke.

"It still doesn't mean he can jump down our throats because of it," Casey commented.

"He didn't mean to Matt" Erin tried to defuse the situation. "Jay probably got him to calm down"

Jay had been guiding his boss away when Hank was hitting the detective's hand away but Jay kept the grip.

"Get off me! Get off of me!" Hank yelled.

"I understand emotions are high right now but this has got to stop and it needs to stop now" Jay told him sharply. "He wasn't implying Jordan was drinking or using again, he was simply asking if it was possible she relapsed"

"And I said she didn't"

"And how do you know? You can't always be with her. I understand you want to protect her, we all do. But you gotta let us do our work and clear her name, if not she goes to jail for something she didn't do and the person that did it walks free. Now which would you prefer?"

"You can tell Will that he can do the tests he needs to do to check all that"

Jay sent his brother a text and looked at his boss. "We will find who did this"

"What if… what if she doesn't make it?"

"Don't think that way, Jordan's strong. She'll be fine"

"You better be right"

In Jordan's room, Connor and Will had been working to make sure Jordan remained stabilized. Will's phone buzzed with a text from his brother. Looking at his friend he excused himself, stepping out of the room to answer it. When he read the message he frowned.

-Test Jordan for any drug or alcohol use.

He looked in the room to see Connor checking over all the machines and everything looked perfectly normal. As Connor worked he heard a slight groan followed by a whimper coming from the teen, her eyes began fluttering open.

"Jordan, kiddo can you hear me?" Connor asked the teen.

The teen tried hard to crack her eyes open, she heard a voice that sounded distant. She kept trying to pry her eyes open till they finally opened her vision was blurry, she blinked a few times till it finally cleared and she saw Connor smiling at her.

"Welcome back to the land of the living"

"My….my head…it's splitting. What happened?"

"You had a seizure"

"No…. no pain meds. No meds at all"

"Jo, it's safe for you to have meds. Will, myself, we'll all monitor closely"

She shook her head. "I can't Connor. I don't want any kind of pain meds"

"No pain meds. How are you feeling?"

"My head feels like it's going to explode but otherwise fine"

"Because you were hit hard and passed out, I just wanna ask some basic questions"

The teen groaned. "My name is Jordan Lynn Voight. My 15th birthday is in a few months. I was born in May 2002. My dad is Hank Voight, my mom is Anna Carter. My dad works for District 21, he's the Sergeant of the Intelligence unit. My mom was former FBI. My dad's team consists of Antonio Dawson, Jay Halstead, Erin Lindsay, Kevin Atwater, Kim Burgess, Uncle Alvin. Aunt Trudy is the desk Sergeant of the district, she runs patrol. I have- had one older brother, Justin. He died. My sister-in-law, Olive took my nephew to Arizona and never came back. I'm sober and clean after drug and alcohol abuse, I self harmed. Today is my brother's birthday. There was a fire at my school and I'm the suspect for it. Did I mention my head hurts?"

The surgeon chuckled. "I think we're good for now kiddo. Do you want anything for that headache?"

"I'm good"

Will had entered the room with Erin, Kelly and Matt. The female detective smiled seeing her sister. "It's good to see you awake Jordy"

"It's good to be awake" She noticed Matt and Kelly there and knew why. "I didn't do it. I swear to you"

"Jo, can you walk us through what happened" Matt spoke.

"I didn't want to go to school today but I didn't trust myself to be alone and I had a huge chemistry test I couldn't afford to miss. I'm still working to make up a lot of my work from being out. It was a normal day, I went to my classes, I stayed to myself. Everything was fine. I went to chemistry. I like being the first there to give me time to mentally prepare. I was thinking of ditching but I didn't. Mr. Drake always gets coffee before class so I was alone, I had my back turned and I didn't see or hear anyone coming in. I felt something hard hit me on my head and I went down next thing I know I woke up and it was hot. Really hot. The class room was on fire and smoke filled the room next thing I knew I heard Kelly and Cruz"

Erin knew this would anger the teen but it had to be asked, she didn't want Matt or Kelly to get chewed out by her like Hank had done. She thought it would be best if she did this part.

"Jordy, I'm only asking as part of the case and it won't get brought up again" Erin started cautiously. "Could there be any chance that maybe.. Maybe you slipped and you're afraid to say anything"

That had caused the teen's eyes to go wide in anger, she felt her blood getting hot as her anger was rising. She had balled her fists tightly so they wouldn't see them shaking. Jordan felt her heart break, had they not trusted her to stay clean and sober? Were they always going to throw this up when something bad happened?

Instead of answering she slid off the bed and slightly stumbled losing her balance, before she could fall she had to grab onto the bed pole for support. Will managed to catch her other hand and hold her steady.

"Easy does it Jo, get back in the bed. You had a seizure, you're not going anywhere" Will told her.

"I want her out" Jordan muttered, trying to hold back sobs.

"Jordan-"

The teen popped her head up. "I wasn't drinking. I didn't drink. I didn't take or use anything. I didn't take so much as an aspirin. Is this how it's gonna be from now? If anything bad happens my sobriety gets called into question"

Kelly bent down to her level and took her trembling hands into his. "We never want to call your sobriety into question but we have to rule these things out for the investigation. We know it's hard to talk about, she wasn't trying to hurt you. We have to know these things to rule them out as factors. These things help clear your name"

"I didn't drink or use it. But I…I did do something"

"What did you do?"

"Please don't tell my dad"

"Jordan, what did you do?"

"I…I…"
