Disclaimer: I don't own anything this is just a story for fun.
Danny, Maddie, and Clockwork returned to planet Casper and headed to FentonWorks to talk about the mission and their next move. The flight back to Casper and the ride to FentonWorks had been fairly quite. Danny had spent the duration of the trip sitting quietly in his seat studying the Ring of Rage. They arrived at FentonWorks and sat at a table in the garage along with Jack, Crash, Tucker, Wulf, and Valerie. Sam also attended the meeting dressed in her Chaos disguise viva through a hologram. Clockwork told the others about what went down in the Labyrinth. The Ring of Rage sat in the middle of the table.
"So we possibly have a new enemy to worry about, who might seek us out to get the ring. This is concerning. I'll tell our people and contacts to be on the lookout for this Dark Laser." Said Sam.
"So can this ring help us take the Empire down?" Asked Tucker.
"It could, but I fear it would corrupt whoever try's to use it and turn them into a greater threat. It would be better for us to destroy it." Said Clockwork.
"Say no more." Said Jack as he picked up a large hammer.
Jack swung the hammer down onto the ring with a mighty crash! There was a loud crack and the head of the hammer exploded to bits! Everyone looked at the destroyed hammer stunned and then at the ring, which was completely unharmed. Valerie pulled out her blaster and shot the ring a couple of times, but that had no affect either. Maddie pulled out her lightsaber and struck the ring, but she was met with the same results.
"How...is that even possible?" Asked Tucker looking stunned.
"It's as I feared. Both the ring and the crown are incredibly powerful items infused with the Dark Side of the Force making them durable beyond normal items or means of destruction. Pandora was unable to destroy them, so she hid them away." Said Clockwork.
"Is there anyway we can destroy them?" Asked Danny.
"We could send them into a sun or a black hole." Suggested Sam.
"That could work, but I think we should do a little more testing and research first, before we decide on anything. Also I would like to have both the ring and the crown in our possession first, so we may destroy them both." Said Clockwork.
"Can we use the ring to locate the crown?" Asked Danny.
"It's possible, but I think we should wait and regain our strength before we attempt something like that." Said Clockwork.
"Where should we keep the ring?" Asked Crash.
"We have a safe here." Said Jack indicating a safe in the back.
"That'll do." Said Clockwork.
"Well I let you handle the ring. I'll let you know if any information on Dark Laser comes up on my end." Said Sam before her hologram vanished.
Clockwork put the ring in the safe and Jack locked it up. The group then split up to do their own thing.
Vlad, Wraith, Freakshow, and their remaining troops returned to the Leviathan. Vlad was furious about the failed mission and had gone to his quarters to train and meditate. Wraith went to the medical bay to get her wounds treated. As she sat, Wraith thought about what went down in the Labyrinth. The man in the black and purple armor had viciously attacked both her and Phantom forcing them both to cry out to their masters for help. Vlad had ignored the cry for help and had gone after the box, while Phantom's master had come to their aid. Wraith felt a little bit abandoned by her master, but she kept telling herself, Vlad had simply been focused on helping the Empire and that he would have come to Wraith's aid once the box was secured.
"Master cares about me." Said Wraith to herself.
Lightyears away aboard the Strife, Dark Laser sat in his private quarters with the Crown of Fire on his lap. Dark Laser smiled beneath his mask. Soon he would have a tremendous amount of power at his disposal and no one would be able to stand against him. Not the Empire. Not the Rebels. Not Clockwork. The Amitrax System and the rest of the galaxy would be under Dark Laser's control. It was only a matter of time.
To be continued.
