Chapter 142 Dark Dealings

Wraith went to the elevator and headed to the roof of the Capitol, she quickly headed to the shuttle that had brought her to the Capitol and ordered the pilot to take her back to the Leviathan. The pilot did as they were told and the shuttle left the Capitol. Some time later the shuttle docked in the Leviathan and Wraith got out and made her way to Vlad's quarters. On the way there Wraith passed Fright Knight, Vid, Download, and Thrash. Fright Knight watched Wraith hurry past them and sensed something odd about the young girl.
Wraith made her ways into Vlad's quarters where he sat behind a desk doing paperwork. Vlad looked up at Wraith as she approached him.
"What is it Wraith?" Asked Vlad.
"I had a encounter with someone very powerful and important and he wishes to speak with you." Said Wraith as she offered her righthand to Vlad.
Vlad eyed Wraith curiously and took the hand. The next thing he knew he found himself in Pariah Dark's throne room along with Wraith and Dark Laser.
"What's going on?" Asked Vlad looking around.
"I am Pariah Dark and you are in my mindscape. I forged a connection with your apprentice and I became very interested in how she came into being and I wished to speak to the man behind her to help me and return I will help you." Said Pariah Dark.
"How are still around and why is he here?" Asked Vlad pointing at Dark Laser.
"I exist through both my ring and crown. Dark Laser is here because he has the crown and has already pledged to serve me. Now let's discuss business." Said Pariah Dark.
"What kind of business?" Asked Vlad.
"I require a body. You see I can fully become alive again and at full power if both my ring and crown are placed on a body. I would normally have them put on any living body, but since I leaned about cloning I have a much better idea for a host. Wraith was a clone created from a young powerful Force user, so I want you to create me a clone body from that user. Do this for me and I will teach the true ways of the Sith and I shall let you be a high ranked member in my new order once I conquer both the Empire and the galaxy." Pariah Dark.
"Why would I assist you in requiring a new body and taking over the Empire?" Asked Vlad.
"Because I can sense your ambition and you have no true loyalty to the Empire. You desire power and position and I can give that to you and more." Said Pariah Dark.
"You got me there, but earlier you said you needed both the crown and the ring to put yourself into a new body. I know that the man next to you in the armor has the crown, but the Rebels have the ring and we have no idea where their base is." Said Vlad.
"Leave that to me. My forces will launch an attack on Goza City and demand that the Rebels come out with the ring. Knowing home much they care about civilians they'll come to me." Said Dark Laser.
"This will also give you the opportunity to be rid of Fright Knight and his forces. You can send them out to deal with Dark Laser and any Rebels and there will be a good chance that one or both of them will be wiped out in the battle." Said Pariah Dark.
Vlad thought about this for a few moments and then he nodded his head.
"That could work. Very well. I shall swear loyalty to you and I shall provide with a new body." Said Vlad.
"Very good. I think this is the start of a beneficial partnership." Said Pariah Dark with a cold dark chuckle.
