Chapter 147 Attack Aftermath

Danny, Maddie, Clockwork, and Valerie made their way back to FentonWorks to rest and to message Chaos about what had happened. Tucker managed to land the Tempest and regroup back with Wulf and met the others at FentonWorks, where they were filled in on what happened had happened. Danny and Maddie were depressed about what had happened, while Clockwork had a grim look on his face as he tried to use his powers to see the future and what might happen next. One thing was for sure it wasn't going to be good.
Fright Knight, Wraith, Vid, Thrash, and Download returned to the Dagger. Wraith was taken to the medical bay to get patched up as Fright Knight went about going over reports about all the damage that had been done to Goza City and how many military lives and civilians lives had been lost in the attack. Fright Knight also called Vlad and informed him about what had transpired with Dark Laser. Vlad faked outrage and concern about the whole situation, vowing that he would do everything in his power to make sure Dark Laser and his minions were tracked down and brought to justice. He was a little surprised to hear that Wraith had gone to Casper and had helped Fright Knight and his forces fight against Dark Laser's forces. That had not been part of the plan and Vlad asked Fright Knight to bring in Wraith to him, so he may speak to her personally. A few minutes Wraith and Vlad were alone in Fright Knight's quarters speaking to each other alone.
"Why were you in Goza City fighting against Dark Laser and his forces?" Asked Vlad.
"I wanted to protect the citizens from harm. They are under our protection and it's our job to protect them. I know we need the ring, but I felt like we didn't need to endanger the civilians or military forces. Fighting Dark Laser himself just happened." Said Wraith.
"I suppose I can understand your reasoning, though I would have wished that you informed me about what you were planning to do. Doesn't really matter now, since we got the ring. Sacrifices were made, but it'll be worth it. You're forgiven for your actions." Said Vlad.
"Thank you master." Said Wraith.
"But if you do something like that ever again, you will be severely punished. Understand." Said Vlad.
"Yes...master." Said Wraith.
"Good girl. I'll see you soon. A new age will soon begin." Said Vlad before ending the call.
Wraith wonder if siding with Vlad and bringing Pariah Dark was a good idea.
On another part of the Dagger, Kwan and Klemper approached Vid to speak to her about what they had witnessed Vicky do.
"Captain Vid, we witnessed a Stormtrooper name Vicky sneak attack and blast Wraith during the battle with the invaders." Said Kwan.
"Is that true?" Asked vid.
Both Kwan and Klemper nodded their heads. Vid summoned Thrash and a few Stormtroopers to go bring Vicky forward.
"What's going on?" Asked Vicky as two Stormtroopers held her arms.
"Vicky you are being arrested for attacking a officer and assisting an enemy. You have been deemed a traitor and will be stripped of your rank and status. Take her to the brig." Said Vid.
"What?! No! That's not true!" Screamed Vicky as she was dragged away.
"Thank you two for coming forward and reporting this. You have done a good service to the Empire." Said Vid to Kwan and Klemper before walking away.
Kwan and Klemper went off to to tend to their own wounds and wondered what fate awaited Vicky and themselves.
Light years away the Strife flew through space making it's way to planet Taka and the cloning lab. Dark Laser sat in his quarters looking at the Crown of Fire and the Ring of Rage sitting on a table in front of him. Soon Pariah Dark would be resurrected and a new age for the galaxy would begin.
