Chapter 151 Awakening 2

Deep beneath the lab facility Clockwork and the Rebel troops snuck around putting explosives on the base's support beams to bring the facility down and put a stop to the creation of the clone army. They also hope to takedown Vlad, the scientists, or any high ranking officers in the process. When the bombs for the support beams were in place the Rebels planned to put some on any generators or computers that they could find that weren't too heavily guarded just too add to the chaos and assurance that any data involving the creation of clones was properly destroyed to prevent the creation or slow down the process of creating a clone army for the Empire.
Up above, Vlad along with Wraith was leading Fright Knight and his troops around the facility giving them a grand tour. Fright Knight immediately took notice of the various clones in the tanks around the facility. Each of the clones were in a different stage of development of growth, some being embryos, then babies, to children, teens, and then young adults. Fright Knight had studied the history of the Clone Wars, so he knew exactly what clones were and on closer inspection, he quickly figured out that some of the clones were of Wraith, while others appeared to be male counterparts of her. The Inquisitor quickly deduced that Wraith herself was possibly a clone of some Jedi or Force user, possibly Phantom, since they both had the same color of white hair. It would explain Wraith's sudden appearance in Vlad's forces and her skills.
"You're creating an army of Force user clones. This was not sanctioned or approved by the Emperor! This is an act of treachery!" Said Fright Knight as he pulled out his lightsaber and activated it.
"Come now. I'm creating possibly one of the greatest armies in the history of the universe to serve the Emperor and the Empire. With this army the Rebels or any form of resistance will be utterly destroyed in less then a year. Any enemy or invader who would dare attack us, would utterly be obliterated and put under our control. This is the future of the Empire. Everything that I do is for the good of the Empire." Said Vlad as he calmly pulled out his lightsaber.
"You will surrender and cease what you are doing. If you refuse I will cut you down myself. My forces will destroy this place and put a stop to your operation." Said Fright Knight as his troops raised their boasters.
"There's no need for massive amounts of bloodshed and death. Tell you what. Let's you and me have a one-on-one duel to settle this." Said Vlad.
"And why would I agree to that?" Asked Fright Knight.
"Because you're a man of honor and you have all the power right now. No matter who wins our little duel you come on top. You win I'm no longer a threat and you'll be rewarded by the Emperor and Vader. My forces and staff won't fight you if I lose. I win, your troops are still the ones with the power and can kill me and my forces and shut us down. Now you could no accept my challenge, but if you do that you will never know if you were stronger then me. What will you do?" Asked Vlad.
Fright Knight studied Vlad for a little bit and then he spoke.
"Very well. I accept your challenge."
"Splendid. May the best man win." Said Vlad.
Everyone backed away from Fright Knight and Vlad as the two fighters circled each other. Fright Knight leaped forward and struck at Vlad with his lightsaber with a fury of blows. Vlad raised his lightsaber and blocked and deflected the blows as he backed away from Fright Knight. Fright Knight swiped at Vlad's legs forcing him to jump back to avoid getting hit. The knight then tried to take Vlad out with a thrust, but Vlad sidestepped his blow and tried to strike Fright Knight, who quickly dove to the side and rolled away. Fright Knight quickly got to his feet and tried to throw Vlad off balance, with a Force push, but Vlad was prepared for this and thrusted out his own hand and used a Force push of his own to cancel out Fright Knight's Force push. The two fighters took a few seconds to catch their breathes as they stared each other down contemplating their next moves.
Fright Knight then began to realize that Vlad had been mainly going on the defensive through most of the fight. Vlad hadn't gone on the offensive and instead had waited for Fright Knight to attack him. Fright Knight was well aware that Vlad was a very capable warrior and could have done some serious damage earlier on in the fight if he had chosen to. It was like Vlad was purposely prolonging the fight for some reason.
"What are you up to? You've been mainly on the defensive during this whole fight." Said Fright Knight.
"So you've finally caught on. Good. Yes I admit I am stalling for the finishing touches of clone like no other to be complete." Said Vlad.
"What kind of clone?" Asked Fright Knight.
"The body is a clone, but it'll have the soul of a great ancient and powerful Sith Lord, whose power with the Force rival both the Emperor and Vader. Once he awakens a new age will begin. I will gladly lead you to him, so you may behold his awakening." Said Vlad.
"You must be joking or exaggerating. Whatever you're creating, I'll put a stop to it!" Said Fright Knight.
"Then let's see how you fare." Said Vlad motioning for Fright Knight to come at him.
Fright Knight charged at Vlad and the two fought, with Vlad retreating and leading the way to where Dark Phantom was being kept.
