Abhijeet, an orphan who has had a really tough life, losing his mother as a teenager and then his best friend in an accident. As Abhijeet joined the CID, he struggled with mental health issues, where he sometimes forgets things.. The CID team uses his condition as a weapon during cases? Unaware of the pain it caused him.

Daya, a colleague, became Abhijeet's confidant, but their bond was put to the test when Daya fell for Shreya. Daya confessed his love for her in a letter, asking Abhijeet to deliver it.

But Abhijeet doesn't give it to her because of her parents' manipulation. They had taken a loan from the groom's family and didn't have enough money to pay it back, so they agreed to marry Shreya off to their son to cancel the debt.

Daya decides to talk to Shreya himself and discovers that Abhijeet never gave her the letter. Both Shreya and Daya get angry with Abhijeet, and soon everyone in the bureau starts avoiding him, feeling a little angry that he didn't deliver the letter.

After the confrontation, Abhijeet decides to transfer out of the CID team, feeling hurt and betrayed by his colleagues' behavior. However, ACP, steps in and resolves the situation.

ACP convinces Shreya's parents to agree to Daya and Shreya's marriage, and the truth about Abhijeet's actions comes to light,that why Abhijeet never gave the letter to Shreya. Additionally ,Abhijeet had paid off the loan that Shreya's parents owed to the groom's family, sacrificing his own happiness for their sake.

Everyone in the CID team, including Daya and Shreya, feels guilty for misjudging Abhijeet and treating him unfairly. They realize that Abhijeet's actions were motivated by kindness and a desire to protect others, even if it meant hurting himself.

Daya and Shreya's marriage takes place, but the atmosphere is bittersweet, as they can't help but think about Abhijeet's absence. ACP tries to reach out to Abhijeet, but he's gone, leaving behind only memories and a sense of "what if?"

The team's dynamics have changed forever, and they're left to ponder the consequences of their actions. Abhijeet's departure serves as a reminder that sometimes, even when we realize our mistakes, it's too late to make amends.
