Somewhere in the vast darkness of the void, an empty space within the walls that separate the different dimensions that make up the Universe, a dark, mysterious individual stood on a small asteroid floating in the emptiness of space. This creature appeared to be a female humanoid extraterrestrial, with blueish purple skin, bright blue eyes and hands with long fingers, long sharp nails and blue swirl shaped markings on the palms. Her attire consisted of a pale, golden crown with jewel ornaments, a black cap and a pair of black horns with blue tips; she wore black robes with long sleeves, black shoulder pads with pale gold trims, a long black dress under her robes and black high heel shoes.
She closed her eyes as she focused her energy and then she opened them, as she tears open the fabric of time and space, creating portals leading to different dimensions. She looked through each of them one by one, and she could see the different heroes and villains residing in each one.
In one, she saw a young boy facing off an evil tyrant looking older man in a game of Jan-Ken-Pon (A.K.A. Rock, Paper, Scissors). After beating him two rounds, the evil tyrant couldn't stand it anymore and faced the young boy in a one-on-one match, with lots of punching and thunder bolts involved.
In another portal, she saw a trio of street brawlers fighting against a gang of criminals lead by a mafioso looking man in a green suit, red tie, and armed with a Tommy Gun.
The next portal showed a group of adorable little monkeys riding inside plastic balls, gathering bananas on these dangerous looking platforms, as they chased after a baboon dressed like a mad scientist riding in a blimp filled with bananas, suggesting that this simian stole the bananas, and this group of monkeys are trying to get them back.
In another portal, we see a pair of burglars infiltrating various buildings to steal specific items of value, while avoiding the security using cartoonish methods.
Another portal showed a ninja in white, red and golden clad as he fought against other ninjas and samurais and bizarre supernatural creatures. Another one showed something similar, however, it was a ninja in black and red clad, and a long red scarf around his neck.
The following portal showed a group of small, adorable alien mice running away from these huge, cat-like alien monsters. The lucky ones were able to escape on rockets piloted by these unique looking alien mice, including a blue one with sparkly hopeful eyes, a red female one with an energetic vibe, a green one with nerdy-glasses and a large strong-looking yellow one. The unlucky ones of course, became food for the cat-like aliens.
The next one showed a trio of warriors, a male barbarian armed with a two-handed broadsword, an amazonian armed with a longsword and a dwarf warrior armed with a battle-axe, fighting against a horde of soldiers and monsters lead by a large tyrannical overlord wielding a golden axe.
Another showed a young princess warrior and her allies fighting against an evil tyrant; another showed a group of street punks marking their territory with graffiti while riding on roller blades, while also on the run from the police; another showed two men infiltrating a mansion filled with zombies and monsters and fought through them with their guns; another showed a dolphin with white stars on its forehead fighting against aliens; another showed a group of teenagers fighting against demons by summoning spiritual beings from within; there were so many, there were just no end to how many dimension were.
She silently kept looking through every portal, watching and studying its unique inhabitants and rules of nature of their worlds, until she stopped to look at one last portal. Something about the world shown in it caught her attention. She saw a blue hedgehog, running at supersonic speeds, destroying robots, alongside his friends and eventually, they fought against the robots' creator: a mad scientist in a red suit and a large mustache, riding a large mech modeled after himself (a clear sign of his egotism and narcissistic nature). However, what caught the mysterious being's attention was when the blue hedgehog summoned these seven colorful gemstones. The hedgehog closed his eyes as the gemstones flew around him until the hedgehog went through a transformation. His quills stood up, his green eyes turned red, and his blue fur changed to shiny golden. In no time flat, the power-up hedgehog made short work of the scientist's mech, blowing it up to bit, while the scientist flew out of the remains in his small hovercraft cursing at the hedgehog and his friends as he made his escape. The blue hedgehog returned to his previous blue self and the gemstones flew up and scattered across the world. He and his friends celebrated their victory before heading off to their next adventure.
The mysterious being was intrigued by what she just witnessed. Out of all the dimensions she had witnessed, this was the one that caught her attention. If those gemstones can grant someone that much power, then…perhaps they are exactly what she needed to accomplish her goals! Unfortunately, while she was able to open portals to other dimensions, something prevented her from going through them. However, while she couldn't go through them physically, she can send an astral projection of herself and get into contact with anyone and convince them to get what she wants for her. Who will she contact? After some careful thinking, she knew exactly who to get in touch with…as the portal focused on the mad scientist.
Meanwhile…
After suffering another defeat at the hands of his archenemy, the mustached mad scientist known as Dr. Eggman, sighed in frustration as he sat on his chair.
"Another day, another plan foiled by the horrid little hedgehog and his annoying playmates…" Eggman said, "Orbot, Cubot! Prepare my dinner."
"Any special requests Boss?" Orbot, the orb-like robot asked.
"A big omelet and use every egg we have in the fridge!" Eggman said.
"Wow, sounds like you're in a real foul mood if you're that hungry!" Cubot, the cube-like robot quipped.
"Oh, shut up and get on with it!" Eggman snapped.
A red vein stuck out of his forehead
"Sir, yes sir!" Orbot and Cubot said in unison before they headed to the kitchen.
Eggman sighed deeply as he laid back on his chair.
"Father?" The doctor looked to the side and saw the little girl with blue eyes, short white hair with a swirl-shaped bang covering her right eye and wearing a long white dress and white Mary Janes. She also had blue energy and what appeared to be computer codes surging through her body, mostly around her arms and legs and the hair bang.
"Oh Sage, I just don't know what to do anymore. I hatch a new plan and that meddlesome rodent, and his playmates keep getting in my way and ruin everything." Eggman sighed even deeply, "It's been like that for years…"
"Don't worry Father, no matter how many times Sonic and his friends defeat, you are still the most brilliant scientist in the world." The girl made of code known as Sage, Eggman's Artificial Intelligence daughter assured him, "After all, you already conquered the world once, so surely you can do it again."
"Thanks, dear daughter." Eggman smiled, "And you know what? You're right! It doesn't matter if Sonic or his friends defeat me every time! Because with each defeat I get one step closer to finally defeating them once and for all! It's only a matter of time…"
"Perhaps I can be of assistance." An unknown voice spoke.
Eggman and Sage jumped in surprise at the sudden voice, "Who said that?" Eggman demanded, "Show yourself!"
"Father! Incoming transmission from an unknown caller!" Sage said as she pointed at the main computer's monitor.
Eggman and Sage looked at the main computer's screen as the mysterious caller revealed themselves. A blueish purple skinned female humanoid with bright blue eyes, in black robes and a horned crown appeared on the monitor.
"Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik…a pleasure to finally meet you." The creature spoke, "I am Dremagen, Master of a Thousand Dimensions."
"Master of a Thousand Dimensions?" Eggman asked, "And what do mean by offering your assistance?"
"Exactly what it means Doctor." Dremagen said, "Regrettably, I am currently trapped in the void and unable to jump between dimensions due to an unfortunate incident in the past. Assist me with this predicament and in return…I shall offer you my assistance in destroying your foes. With my power over the dimensions, my personal army, combined with your intelligence and your personal army, there will be nothing standing between us and our goals."
Eggman smiled evilly, "Sounds promising! Very well, I shall assist you, under one condition: double cross me and you'll be sorry!"
"I swear on my pride as Master of Thousand Dimensions, you won't regret helping me." Dremagen said, "I trust you with your I.Q. of three hundred, that you know how to free me from my prison."
"Indeed." Eggman said as he pressed a button on his console, "Metal Sonic, report!"
The double doors open, revealing the robotic doppelganger of the blue hero on the other side. The metallic menace walked right in and looked at his master with his usual cold, unfeeling stare.
"I have a mission for you and for Sage: you two are to find and collect all the seven Chaos Emeralds, bring them to me so I can power the device that will help Dremagen escape from her prison! Do you understand?" Eggman asked.
"Affirmative Father." Sage said.
Metal nodded in silence.
"Good! Now go!" Eggman ordered.
Metal Sonic and Sage left the room.
Eggman turned back to Dremagen, "Don't you worry Lady Dremagen, you shall be set free soon enough. In the meantime, I'd like to know more about you and your story as the "Master of a Thousand Dimensions"."
Before Dremagen could answer that, there was a sudden loud noise coming from the kitchen. Eggman looked at the kitchen door, "Orbot? Cubot?" He called but there was no answer. He looked at Dremagen and said, "Hold that thought." Before he headed to the kitchen. As soon as he opened the door, an eggy mess burst through and buried the doctor in it as he screamed in horror. After a few seconds, Eggman popped his head out, followed by Orbot and Cubot.
"Omelet's ready Boss! Bon appetite!" Cubot said cheerfully.
Eggman growled in fury as he glared at them, "YOU NIMCOMBOTS!" he roared at them.

Dremagen just watched with a blank expression, unable to tell if Eggman really is a genius or just an angry manchild, as he watched the mad doctor yell at his two dim-witted assistant robots. She shrugged those thoughts out of her head as she needed to trust the doctor with his plan to free her.
Meanwhile…
Metal Sonic and Sage traveled to various locations in search of the Chaos Emeralds. Sage suggested that they should try and avoid detection from anyone so as not to alert Sonic and his friends to their search for the Emeralds. Metal did not like the idea of sneaking around as he would rather start causing chaos and fight his "loathsome copy", but Sage is right. They can't risk jeopardizing the mission by getting Sonic and his friends' attention.
They first traveled to Green Hill Zone where they found the Green Chaos Emerald behind some rocks in one of the underground caves.
Second, they traveled to Emerald Coast, where after avoiding getting eaten by a massive orca, they found the Blue Chaos Emerald in a coral reef.
Third, they traveled to Westopolis where they found the Red Chaos Emerald underneath a car.
Fourth, they traveled to the Aquatic Ruins Zone, where they found Light Blue Chaos Emerald on top of some ancient ruins.
Fifth, they traveled to the Frog Forest and the Lost Jungle, where after dealing with the rain caused by both the frogs and the black frogs from each location and escaping from the jaws of a hungry giant alligator, they manage to find the Purple Chaos Emerald in some bushes.
Sixth, they traveled to the Principality of Soleanna, where they had to avoid detection from the guards, citizens and tourists by taking the rooftops. They managed to find the Yellow Chaos Emerald on the castle's rooftop.
And finally, they traveled to…the G.U.N. Fortress. This place was in serious disarray since the time Eggman finally conquered the world with Infinite's help. Despite this, there were still a lot of G.U.N. soldiers around, so they had to avoid detection all the same. Unlike the other locations, this one proved to be more dangerous compared to the other locations. Despite this, they managed to find the White Chaos Emerald inside a vault protected by an electronic lock. Sage was able to hack it open as they made a run for it before anyone realized what happened.
"Mission Accomplished. Returning to base immediately." Sage said.
Metal nodded as the two of them returned to Eggman's base. Little did they know, a small fox-like robot had been spying on them since Green Hill Zone, feeding all the footage back to its creator: Miles "Tails" Prower. After he finished analyzing the footage, the twin-tailed mechanic genius concluded that Eggman was up to no good again and contacted Sonic and the others about this.
Meanwhile…
While Orbot and Cubot cleaned up the mess caused by their blunder in the kitchen, Eggman finished working on a portal device to help free Dremagen from her prison. While he was working on it, he finished listening to Dremagen's story.
"So, in conclusion: you were once the omnipotent ruler of countless dimensions, but a group of meddlesome "heroes" defeated you by sealing away your powers using four magical artifacts and banish you into the void, where you remained trapped for countless millennia?" Eggman asked.
"Correct." Dremagen said, "And while that seal has recently weakened ever so slightly, allowing me to open portals and communicate with you like this, it still isn't enough to escape on my own. That is why I reached out to you, the most brilliant scientist in the Universe."
"Ho ho ho ho! Flattery gets you nowhere but thank you!" Eggman laughed.
The double doors open, and Metal and Sage came in, "Big Brother Metal and Sage, reporting in Father." The AI spoke.
"Welcome back Sage and Metal." Eggman said, "Did you bring the Emeralds?"
"Affirmative." Sage said as she and Metal presented the Chaos Emeralds to their father.
"Excellent!" Eggman said, "I knew I could count on you both! Now we can complete the device and begin the next step towards rebuilding the Eggman Empire!"
Eggman begins to insert each Chaos Emerald into the device's console. Before he placed the last Emerald, the alarm suddenly went off.
"Intruder alert! Intruder alert!"
"What!?" Eggman and his minions/family looked at the other monitor and saw the blue blur himself and his friends just outside their doorstep, trashing all the robot guards.
"Blast! It's that rotten rodent and his friends again!" Eggman growled in fury and turned to Metal and Sage, "New assignment: Destroy them! Don't let them near the device no matter what!"
"Affirmative Father." Sage said as she and Metal left.
Meanwhile…
Sonic, the blue hedgehog, the fastest thing alive, made short work of Eggman's guard robots using his speed and Spin Dash ability. His best friend Tails used his twin tails to fly around his foes and swipe at them with them. Knuckles, a red echidna and Guardian of the Master Emerald, punched his foes hard with his spiky fists. And Amy Rose, a pink hedgehog in a red dress, Sonic's self-proclaimed girlfriend, crushed her foes with his trusty weapon: the Piko Piko Hammer. Small Animal Friends came out of the destroyed robots' remains as they thanked Sonic and friends and fled the scene.
They were about to face off against a larger enemy, when suddenly a yellow energy blast, followed by a rocket hit the large robot, destroying it. Sonic, Tails and Amy looked to the side and saw Shadow the Hedgehog, the Ultimate Life Form who looks like a darker version of Sonic, E-123 Omega, the last and most powerful E-Series robot who turned on his creator and Rouge the Bat, part-time government spy and full-time treasure hunter/jewel thief.
"Hey Shadow, Omega and Rouge, long time no see!" Sonic greeted them, "Thanks for the assistance, even though it wasn't really needed."
Shadow grunted, "I wasn't trying to assist you. We came here because the Doctor stole a Chaos Emerald right under G.U.N.'s nose."
"I couldn't care less about the Emeralds, Eggman's destruction is all that matters to me." Omega said.
"We may have our hands full with both of that. Look." Rouge pointed.
The seven heroes looked and saw Metal Sonic hovering down towards them, followed by Sage, whose appearance had changed to a black long dress and Mary Janes and her blue eyes and computer code changed to red.
"Metal Sonic. Sage. Lovely seeing you two." Sonic said with a snarky grin.
"Hand over the Chaos Emeralds!" Knuckles demanded.
"Nice to see you all again." Sage greeted them, "Unfortunately, Father needs the Chaos Emeralds to complete his task and Big Brother Metal and I have been assigned with the task to stop you from achieving that."
"That's a shame, but I guess it can't be helped." Sonic said, "Alright everyone! Let's do it to it!"
"Alright!" Tails said.
"Let's go!" Knuckles said.
"I hate to do this, but okay!" Amy said.
"Time to see if the Doctor's daughter is all she's cracked up to be." Shadow said.
"All Eggman's creations must be destroyed!" Omega said.
"You need to chill for once Omega, but I suppose fighting is the only way through." Rouge said.
"Father's enemies are my enemies as well. Let's do this Big Brother Metal!" Sage said.
Metal nodded as they both took a fighting stance.
VS. METAL SONIC AND SAGE (Theme: Stardust Speedway Bad Future – US version (from Sonic Forces))
The fight began with Sonic and Metal Sonic charging at each other and clasping their hands against each other as they tried to push back one another. Sage tried to aid Metal by firing energy beams at Sonic, but Tails summons one of his drones, creating a shield that blocked her beams.
Knuckles, Amy and Shadow attacked Sage in unison, but the Ai managed to teleport away from them. However, Rouge ended up landing a swift kick on the back of her head, sending her flying at Omega who grabbed her by the head and slammed her down to the ground. While Sage was on the ground, Omega tried to blast her with his rocket at point-black, but the AI managed to recover and teleported out of the way.
Meanwhile, Sonic and Metal were still locked in a power struggle until Knuckles managed to land a left hook to the side of Metal's head, followed by Amy's Hammer attack to the other side. This dazed Metal enough for Sonic to push back his doppelganger against the wall and then land a rapid flurry of punches and kicks all over him, finishing off with a swift kick to the side of the head, sending him flying to the side.
Metal tried to get up but was thwarted by Shadow following up with a flurry of punches and kicks as well, finishing it off with an uppercut, sending him flying upwards.
Metal managed to recover in midair as he hovers over the heroes. Sage teleported next to him. They looked at each other and nodded, then looked back down at the heroes. Metal started charging up energy in his chest while Sage aimed the palms of her hands at the heroes and started charging energy on them.
"Uh oh, everyone! Scatter!" Sonic shouted.
Metal Sonic fired a massive energy beam from his chest, while Sage fired a barrage of energy blasts from her hands, raining down on our heroes. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy dodged to the left, while Shadow, Rouge and Omega dodged to the right. Metal kept firing his energy beam at Sonic's group, while Sage kept firing her energy blast barrage at Shadow's group.
Sonic ran up the wall, followed by Knuckles climbing up the wall using the spikes on his fists, while Tails flew up while carrying Amy. On the other side, Shadow skated up the wall while Rouge flew after him while carrying Omega, who helped speed up by firing energy beams from his arms in the opposite direction.
Metal and Sage kept going up the building as they fired their respective attacks at the two groups until they reached the top, as both groups shot themselves high up in the sky and dive attack at Metal and Sage who just exhausted themselves. Sage creates a barrier around Metal and herself as they try to defend themselves from Sonic and Shadow's groups Double Team Dive Attack.
BOOOOOOOM!
The impact of the attack was so massive they ended up smashing open the entire rooftop, causing both parties to fall through, landing right in the middle of the base's control room. Where Eggman was working on the device and Orbot and Cubot had just finished cleaning the mess.
"What the!?" Eggman gasped in surprise as he looked and saw the giant hole on the ceiling, as well as the big dust cloud and debris, with the heroes standing up victorious over Metal Sonic, who was badly damaged and unable to fight, as his red eyes turned black, as he shut down, while Sage lied next to him, covered in static as her appearance changed back to white clothes and blue eyes and code.
"Father…I'm sorry…the mission is a failure…" Sage said before falling unconscious.
"Alright Eggman, the jig is up!" Sonic pointed at Eggman, "Hand over the Chaos Emeralds now!"
Eggman growled in anger, "Curse you Sonic! I should destroy for what you did to Sage and Metal! BUT…!"
Without wasting time, Eggman slammed his fist down on the big red button, activating the device, as the large portal came to life with the seven Chaos Emeralds shining inside it.
"You're too late! Behold, my new plan for universal conquest and my new partner-in-crime!" Eggman declared as a rift in the space-time continuum opened right before their eyes.
Sonic and his friends shielded themselves as they felt wave after wave of energy as the portal opened wide, revealing the extraterrestrial witch on the other side.
"Who or what is that!?" Tails asked.
"Is that your new partner Eggman?" Knuckles asked.
"That's right! Meet Dramagen, Master of a Thousand Dimensions!" Eggman introduced her, "And together we will finally achieve our goals!"
Dremagen summoned a black magic tome, "Power…Strength…Speed…these will make a perfect addition to my collection!" as she summons the Chaos Emeralds out of the device as they fly around her, "With the power of the Chaos Emeralds and my Clone army! I will open portals to every dimension and conquer them all!"
"NO!" Sonic and the others rushed to stop her, only to be stopped by…Themselves!?
"WHAT THE HECK!?" They all gasped in surprise to see copies of themselves who just appeared right before their eyes. The only difference was that there were purple particles coming out of their bodies and small, bright blue swirls on their foreheads, just like the ones on Dremagen's hands.
"Go my minions! Destroy them!" Dremagen ordered as she used the Chaos Emeralds to bring the dimensions together.
VS. SONIC AND FRIENDS CLONES (Theme: Vs. Character (From Sonic the Hedgehog 2006))
Dremagen's clones of Sonic and friends attacked our heroes in unison, who barely had time to react.
"This is just freaky!" Amy cried as she and her clone clashed hammers.
"You're telling me!" Rouge said as she and her clone parried each other's kicks.
Knuckles and his clone traded punches, Shadow and his clone parries each other's punches and kicks, Omega and his clone clasped their hands against each other as they try to push other back, Tails and his clone flew around while trading blows, and Sonic and his clone raced against each other while trading blows as well.
Eggman grabbed Sage, Metal, Orbot and Cubot as he carried them to safety, "I'm starting to think maybe this wasn't such a good idea!"
The heroes fought against the clones, but neither side was able to beat the other. Unfortunately, it didn't matter as the clones kept the heroes at bay while Dremagen worked her magic.
"Fools! You were never a match against me to begin with! And now, you will pay the price!" Dremagen shouted as she summoned a black magic staff with a blue jewel on top and pointed it at the heroes.
Suddenly portals popped up right under each of our heroes' feet, sucking them all in.
"AH! HELP! SONIC!" Amy was sucked into the portal first before it closed.
"What is this!?" Shadow demanded as he got sucked into the portal.
"NO WAY!" Knuckles cried out before getting sucked in.
"Cowards! Face me!" Omega demanded as he disappeared into the portal.
"ACK!" Rouge cried as she got dragged in.
"HELP US! SONIC!" Tails cried for help as he got dragged in.
"TAILS! AMY! KNUCKLES! EVERYONE!" Sonic shouted in horror while being sucked into the portal.
The blue blur tried to fight back, but even he couldn't break free as he glared at Dremagen, who looked on with a sinister gaze, along with her clone army.
"You won't get away with this Dremagen! I'll find you!" Sonic threatened before he disappeared into the portal.
And just like that, Sonic and his friends were defeated by Dremagen, banished from this dimension and sent off into the unknown, as the evil witch and her clones looked on.
"This dimension is now part of my collection." Dremagen said, "And now, Chaos Emeralds, its time for the final curtain call!"
She focused her magic as the seven Chaos Emeralds flew around her, granting her infinite power, as she opened her eyes and said the magic words:
"CHAOS CONTROL!"
She let out a massive explosion of chaos energy that engulfed her and her clone army, followed by Eggman and his minions/family, before it engulfed the entire dimension. Before getting engulfed, the explosion caught the attention of certain individuals such as Cream the Rabbit and Cheese, along with her mother Vanilla and Gemerl who were enjoying a normal life at home, then Big the Cat and his best friend Froggy who were out fishing, the Chaotix Detective Agency who were in the middle of an investigation, The President of the United Federation, his secretary and the G.U.N. Commander who were in the middle of an important meeting and all the animals and humans in the world. Soon, all of Sonic's dimension were consumed by Dramagen's Chaos Control.
However, it wasn't just Sonic's dimension, as the explosion also spread into the void and went through the portals she previously created to the other dimensions, dragging them and its inhabitants into this mess, catching the attention of the likes of Ax Battler, the Barbarian, AiAi the Monkey, Blaze Fielding, the former police officer turned vigilante, Wren the Android, Beat, the street punk leader of the GGs, Death Adder the evil tyrant and wielder of the Golden Axe, the kunoichis Ageha and Hibana and more.
And soon, the entire Universe was caught in Dremagen's Chaos Control powered spider web, as she used her magic, now powered by the Chaos Emeralds to recreate the entire Universe to her liking, using the different dimensions to create her very own dimension, which was a horrific mash-up of every dimension she had conquered, with a massive castle at the very center. She watched with an evil smile as she sat down on the throne, with the seven Chaos Emeralds imbedded on the top, her clone army consisting of Sonic and his friends, as well as the heroes and villians from every other dimension knelt before their queen.
Dramagen raised her staff and opened a portal above the space between her and her clone army. Eggman suddenly fell out of the portal, followed by Orbot, Cubot, Metal Sonic and finally Sage, forming a pile.
"Ow, my head…my back…" Eggman moaned in pain, while Orbot and Cubot got up, followed by Metal who just reactivated himself, and Sage who just regained consciousness. Realizing they landed on top of the master/father, they quickly got off him, as the Doctor got back up on his feet, "I swear, my age is starting to show the pain I feel…"
"Um, boss?" Orbot called.
"Father?" Sage called.
"What?" Eggman looked at Orbot and Sage who pointed at Dremagen and the clone army, causing him to gasp in surprise and shock, "WHAAAAT!? Wh-Wh-Where are we? What's all this!? What's going on!?"
"Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik. Metal Sonic. Sage. Orbot. Cubot. Welcome…to MY dimension." Dremagen greeted them as she sat on her throne with a wicked smile.

Episode 1
The Journey Begins!
Meanwhile…
In a dark forest, Amy Rose lied unconscious on the grass after being banished by the evil witch. Once she felt the sunlight peeking out from the trees touch her face, she began to regain consciousness. The pink hedgehog moaned as she slowly opened her eyes.
"Where…am I?" Amy wondered as she looked around trying to get a bearing of her surroundings, "How…did I get here?"
Amy sat up and looked around. She found herself in a small clearing surrounded by trees, with a couple of flowers and bushes, and rays of sunlight peeking through the trees.
"Let's see…last thing I remember is…" Amy tries to recall what happened and gasped when she remembered that she and her friends were fighting against clones of themselves when suddenly that wicked being cast a spell that sent her and the others through portals, "Oh no! SONIC! TAILS! EVERYONE! WHERE ARE YOU!?" she screamed in panic and concern.
She got up on her feet and shouted, "SOOOOOONIC!" her voice echoed through the forest, but there was no response.
"Oh no! Am I by myself!?" Amy wondered, "No, no, no! This is bad! What Sonic and the others got hurt! What if they need help!? What if…!?"
Amy paced around in panic as she was concerned about her beloved Sonic and her friends, as that evil witch seemed to have banished them to some place unknown.
"Okay, okay, calm down Amy! This is no time to panic!" Amy told herself as she stopped pacing around, "Now, it obvious that witch…what was her name? Oh yeah, Dremagen! She opened these portals and sent me and the others somewhere and we all got separated. And now here I am, in a dark forest, all by myself, and my friends are…who knows where Dremagen sent them. First thing I should do is find my way out of this forest."
After calming herself down, she decided to leave the clearing and venture into the forest. She walked down the path silently and aside from the sounds of a few bird chirps and cricket sounds, it was eerie quiet and there wasn't a single animal in sight. It was kind of creepy.
"This forest…something about it feels…fake." Amy murmured, "Like…it's artificially made. Creepy."
She continued walking down the path until she heard something nearby, "What's that?" she wondered in a whisper.
She quietly followed the sound until she ran into a group of Badniks, consisting of a crab robot known as "Crabmeat", a wasp robot known as "Buzz Bomber" and a caterpillar robot known as "Catterkiller". The three robots turned around to face Amy.
"Uh oh…" Amy said to herself.
A sweat drop rolled down the side of her head
The Badniks let out a mechanical battle cry as they charged at Amy, who pulled out her Piko Piko Hammer and swung at them, sending them flying away from her. Before they could recover, Amy dashed at them one by one and smashed them with her hammer, destroying them as they were reduced to scrap metal and vanished into purple particles. Wait…what?
"Huh!?" Amy looked confused when the destroyed Badniks disappeared, "What just happened?"
She didn't have time to think as more Badniks appeared, this time an angry orb with floating spike balls called an "Orbinaut", a ladybug one called "Motobug", an armadillo one called "Roller" and a rabbit one called "Splats".
"Seriously!?" Amy whined as she readied herself.
Roller curled into its ball form and rolled at Amy, followed by Orbinaut sending his spike balls at her. Amy jumped out of the way of Roller's attack and swung her hammer like a baseball bat at the spike balls, sending them back at Orbinaut, destroying him with his own attack. Roller continued his attack followed by Motobug charging in for a sandwich attack. Amy slammed her hammer down to the ground, sending herself up high as Roller and Motobug crashed into each other, turning into scrap metal upon impact. While in the air, Splats hopped high towards her, but Amy countered with her hammer and slammed it down to the ground, destroying it. And just like before, the destroyed Badniks disappeared into purple particles.
"These guys look like Eggman's robots, but they just disappear into particles when I destroyed them. Plus, there were no Animal Friends inside them." Amy said.
"Stand back, foul mechanical beasts!" a man's voice shouted in the distance.
Amy looked behind her and, in the distance, she saw a tall muscular human man with dark hair and wearing blue trunks and boots, as well as silver cuffs and necklace. He swung his broadsword at a group of orange bipedal egg-shaped robots known as "Egg Pawns", clashing weapons against each other until the barbarian human managed to break their guard and slice them open. They too end up disappearing into purple particles upon being destroyed.
"Who is that?" Amy wondered as she watched the barbarian from afar.
The barbarian appeared to be doing just fine on his own, but he soon found himself outnumbered by even more Egg Pawns, but to make things worse, a giant Egg Pawn with grey metal platting and carrying a massive hammer showed up out of nowhere and swung its hammer at the barbarian, catching him off guard.
"GRAAAAAAAAH!" The barbarian screamed in pain as he was sent flying against a tree, knocking him out from the brutal impact.
"Oh no!" Amy cried in worry, "Hang on! I'm coming!"
Amy quickly rushed into the battlefield and used her Spin Hammer Attack to swat the Egg Pawns away from the unconscious barbarian. She then turned her attention to the giant hammer-wield Egg Pawn, also known as a "Egg Hammer".
"You leave him alone you jerk, or you'll have to deal with me!" Amy threatened the Egg Hammer and its ally Egg Pawns.
The Egg Hammer pointed at Amy, signaling the Egg Pawns to attack her. The foot soldier robots charged at Amy and attacked her with their weapons, but Amy used her Hammer Jump move to jump up high above and avoid their attack, then she dive attacked into the middle of the group, slamming her hammer down on one of the Egg Pawns. The impact was so hard, it created a shock wave that knocked back the rest of them. The Egg Pawn she landed on disappeared into purple particles.
Amy let out a battle cry as she dashed towards the rest of the Egg Pawns, smashing them to pieces with her hammer, causing them to turn into purple particles as well.
The Egg Hammer, seeing the pink hedgehog destroy its allies so easily decided to step in and deal with her itself. Despite its massive size, it was able to move fast as he swung its hammer down at Amy, who dodged it.
"You call that a hammer?! THIS is a hammer!" Amy shouted as she charged at the Egg Hammer and slammed her hammer multiple times all over it, only to realize she's not making a dent on it, "Um…"
Egg Hammer stared at Amy for a second before lifting his hammer again, ready to swing at her again.
"Yikes!" Amy jumped out of the way as the hammer landed right where she once stood.
Realizing that defeating this Egg Hammer on her own is not an option, she quickly turned to the unconscious barbarian and rushed to his side.
"Hey, YOU!" Amy called out to the barbarian as she grabbed him by the shoulders, "Whoever you are, this is no time for a nap! Up and at them!"
She shook the man awake, as he groaned in grogginess, "Wh…what? What happened? Who are you?" he asked when he saw Amy.
"You got jumped on by this big jerk and I'm trying to save you, but he's too tough!" Amy told the barbarian, "Actually we shouldn't be talking right now! Here he comes!"
Amy grabbed the man by the arm as they attempt to run away from the Egg Hammer who was coming in for another attack.
"W-Wait! My sword!" the barbarian said.
"Oh right!" Amy took a turn while still holding the man by the arm as they made their way to where the barbarian dropped his broadsword. The man grabbed the sword once they got close enough.
"Got it! Let us retreat for now Pink Rabbit!" the man said.
"You got it!" Amy said, "And by the way, I'm not a rabbit! I'm a hedgehog!"
The two of them make their escape as the Egg Hammer tries to give chase. They make their way through the trees, making it difficult for the Egg Hammer to chase them down. The Egg Hammer however didn't care for collateral damage however as he started swinging his hammer with reckless abandon, knocking all the trees down, but this proved to be a mistake as he lost sight of his targets in the middle of all the trees he knocked down. The robot made a mechanical noise in frustration as it continued to search for the two targets.
Meanwhile, Amy and the barbarian managed to escape deep into the forest and hide from their would-be captor, as they stopped in a small clearing.
"Okay, I think we lost it." Amy said, "Are you okay?"
"A little sore, but I'll live." The barbarian said, "Thank you for rescuing me Pink Rabbit."
"HEDGEHOG!" Amy corrected him, "And you're welcome. My name is Amy Rose, but just Amy will do."
"I am Ax Battler." The barbarian introduced himself, "A pleasure to meet you, Amy."
"Likewise." Amy said, "Wait, your name is "Ax", but you use a sword? Never mind, it doesn't matter. What matters is that it seems we are both in the same situation."
"On that I can agree." Ax agreed, "We are both strangers who find themselves in a strange land, getting attacked by mechanical beasts."
"Indeed, however, I don't think those guys were really mechanical." Amy said, "As far as I know, robots don't just vanish into purple thingies when they get turned to scrap."
"What are you saying?" Ax asked.
"I think those may actually be clones." Amy said.
"Clones? I am afraid I am unfamiliar with that word." Ax said.
"Basically, it means that they are copies of the original." Amy said, "You know? Fakes."
"Oh…I think I understand." Ax said, "But where did they come from and why are they attacking us?"
"My guess is that they are creations of that evil witch that attacked my world." Amy said, pulling out her Fortune Cards, "According to my cards, it appears that our worlds were all brought together and then merged into a singular dimension by that "Dremagen" lady."
"This…"Dremagen"…is she the enemy?" Ax asked.
"That's her." Amy said as she continued reading her Fortune Cards, "Oh, wait! My Fortune Cards are saying that someone is approaching us but it's not an enemy."
"Not an enemy? Another being in the same predicament as us?" Ax wondered.
"Eek! Eek! Yeah!" a voice rang out.
Amy and Ax looked to where the voice came from, and they saw him: jumping out of the bushes was a small male monkey wearing an orange t-shirt with the letter "A" in white on it and a blue backpack, riding inside what appeared to be a large plastic ball.
The monkey happily ran around inside the ball until he spotted Amy and Ax and slowed down to walk up to them.
"Eek! Eek! Hi there! I'm AiAi! Nice to meet you two! Got any bananas?" The monkey, calling himself "AiAi", greeted and introduced himself.
"I am Ax Battler, and this is Amy Rose." Ax introduced himself and Amy, "Sadly, we do not have any bananas, but we welcome you to join us, if you wish."
"Eek! Eek! Yay! New friends!" AiAi said cheerfully.
"Excuse me AiAi, but do you happen to know how you got here?" Amy asked.
"Eek! Eek! Well, I remember me and my friends chasing after Dr. Bad-Boon, this big mean baboon scientist who is always stealing my village's bananas, when suddenly, this big flash of light came out of nowhere, and the next thing I knew I was in the middle of this spooky forest. I was all alone; my friends and Bad-Boon were nowhere to be found. So, I've been running around looking for them for some time now, until I ran into you guys. Eek!" AiAi explained himself.
"And you haven't run into any bad guys on the way here?" Amy asked.
"Bad guys? Eek! Eek!" AiAi asked, "You mean like those Banana Thieves over there? Eek!"
Amy and Ax looked at where AiAi was pointing and they saw a group of monkeys wearing ski masks and ragged clothing, giving them the appearance of thieves.
"Eek! Eeek!" The bad monkeys known as "Banana Thieves" charged at the heroes and jumped on them. AiAi managed to get out of the way, but Amy and Ax weren't as lucky as they screamed in panic, as they got monkeys on their backs, literally.
"AAAAH! STOP! GET OFF YOU AWFUL MONKEYS!" Amy screamed as she tried to swing her hammer at them, but one of them managed to steal and whacked her in the head with it, "OW!"
"Foul beasts! Unhand me!" Ax shook the monkeys off with his strength, but one of them managed to steal his broadsword, "By Guld's Breath! Return my sword immediately you filthy thieves!"
Ax chased after the Banana Thieves who stole his sword, while Amy was knocked out after one Banana Thief stole her Hammer from her whacked her with it. AiAi, seeing his new friends in trouble, could not watch any longer.
"Eek! Eek! Leave them alone you bullies!" AiAi revved up his ball and charged at the Banana Thieves attacking Amy, knocking them all back and causing the one who took Amy's hammer to drop it. He then turned his attention to the ones who stole Ax's sword, with Ax still chasing them. AiAi managed to intercept them and knock them back with his ball, causing the one who stole Ax's sword to drop it.
Seeing this, Ax quickly grabbed his sword, "I thank you, AiAi! And now, to teach these foul critters a lesson!" Ax let out a battel cry as he struck down the Banana Thieves with his broadsword, killing them as their bodies disintegrate into purple particles.
Amy regained consciousness and noticed her Piko Piko Hammer in front of her. She quickly grabbed it and got back up as she turned to the Thieves who attacked her trying to get back up after getting knocked back by AiAi.
"No one uses my Piko Piko Hammer against me and lives to brag about it!" Amy let out a battle cry as she dashed at Banana Thieves and crushed them one by one with a mighty Hammer Strike, killing them as they too disappear into purple particles.
Once all the Banana Thieves were gone, Amy, Ax and AiAi regrouped in the middle of the clearing.
"Is everyone okay?" Amy asked.
"I am fine, thanks to our new friend AiAi." Ax said.
"Eek! Eek! I can't stand big mean bullies like those Banana Thieves, especially when they mess with my friends." AiAi said proudly, "How is your head by the way, Amy?"
"Throbbing, but I'll be okay. It will take more than a whack on the head with my own hammer to put me down." Amy said.
"Also, why did they turn into those purple thingies when we beat them? That never happened before." AiAi said.
"Because they were fakes created by Dremagen, the one behind our situation." Amy said.
"Eek! Eek! Another bully?" AiAi asked.
"Probably THE biggest!" Amy said, "And we're all going to give her a piece of our minds once we find her!"
"Eek! Eek! Count me in!" AiAi said.
"Great! Now we just need to find a way out of this forest and…" Before Amy could finish her sentence, the Egg Hammer who was previously chasing them suddenly smashed his way through some trees, catching them by surprise.
"YIKES! It found us!" Amy screamed.
"Curses! We must flee! We currently cannot penetrate that beast's armor!" Ax said.
"Eek! Eek! Are we playing tag?" AiAi asked.
"Yes AiAi, and that big bully is "it"! NOW MOVE!" Amy shouted as she and Ax went on ahead.
"Eek! Eek! Catch us if you can!" AiAi taunted the Egg Hammer before going after Amy and Ax in his ball.
Once again, the Egg Hammer, despite its huge size, moved fast as it chased after the three heroes. Amy, Ax and AiAi made their way through the forest, dodging every tree and rock in the way while the Egg Hammer just destroyed everything in its path with its hammer. The chase went on for three minutes until they manage to get out of the forest only for the path to be blocked by more of clones of Badniks, Egg Pawns, Banana Thieves and…a ninja in white clad and red armor plating on his arms and legs, a red mask over his mouth and nose and a golden headpiece. He was carrying a katana and some kunai knives.
"By Guld's Breath, what is that!?" Ax asked when he saw the ninja.
"That's just a ninja, no big deal. I know a friend who is also a ninja." Amy said.
"Eek! Eek! I've never met a ninja before!" AiAi said.
Suddenly, the Egg Hammer smashed his way out of the forest, destroying the trees in its path. Amy, Ax and AiAi now found themselves surrounded.
"Oh boy…" Amy murmured.
Sweat drops rolled down the side of their heads, one on each of them
"Your lives end here." The ninja clone spoke as he pointed his katana at the heroes, signaling the clones to attack them.
VS. NINJA CLONE & EGG HAMMER CLONE (Theme: Robot Carnival/Robot Storm (from Sonic Heroes))
The Badnik, Egg Pawn and Banana Thief clones charged at the trio first. They fought back as Amy sent them flying with her Hammer Strikes and Hammer Swings, Ax let out a might battle cry before charging and slice them up with his sword strikes and AiAi rushed around while still inside his ball at full speed, knocking down his foes like bowling pins. The vanquished foes vanished into purple particles.
Seeing their minions getting defeated, the Ninja and the Egg Hammer decided to make their move.
"Look out!" Amy shouted, as they scatter, dodging Egg Hammer's Hammer Strike.
Ax reacted in time as he used his sword to block the Ninja Clone's katana, as the two were locked in epic sword clash. The Ninja's attacks were fast, but Ax's reflexes and durability allowed him to block most of his attacks.
Amy and AiAi dodged Egg Hammer's attacks and struck back, but no matter how hard they hit it, they still couldn't leave a dent on its armor.
"Eek! Eek! This guy is too tough!" AiAi said.
"Even if we join forces, it's still not enough! What do we do?" Amy wondered.
"GRAH!" Ax got pushed back by the Ninja's kick to the stomach.
The Ninja performed a secret ninja art, as he raised his katana up with both hands and summoned serpent dragons made of fire from the ground below Ax, sending him flying as he cried in pain as he got burn injuries from the Ninja's attack.
"AX!" Amy and AiAi cried.
Before they could help him, the Egg Hammer swung his hammer, hitting them both, sending them flying against Ax.
AiAi was able to withstand the attack's impact thanks to his durable ball, but Amy and Ax were both laying on the ground, injured.
"Eek! Oh no! Amy…Ax…" AiAi cried in worry.
"Worry not little simian, you too will be joining them in the afterlife!" The Ninja raised his katana.
"NO!" AiAi cried and he dashed at the Ninja, who swiftly dodged it.
The Egg Hammer struck his hammer down AiAi, pushing him hard into the ground, leaving his ball stuck. AiAi himself was still unharmed, but now he couldn't move at all unless he came out of the ball but doing that would leave him vulnerable.
"Eek! Eek! Darn it…" AiAi cursed.
"Lady Dremagen will be pleased." The Ninja Clone said as he raised his sword as he was about to kill Amy and Ax.
*STAB*
"UGH!" The Ninja Clone felt something sharp impale him in the back. The pain caused him to drop his katana as he looked back and saw a physically attractive Caucasian woman with blue eyes and long brown hair with a strand hanging between her eyes. She wore a red headband, a red jacket and miniskirt, black fingerless gloves and red ankle boots.
This woman had just snuck up on him and managed to stab him in the back with knife. She then followed up by removing the knife and landing a backflip kick, sending him flying away from the two injured heroes.
"Im…poss…ible…" the Ninja Clone murmured as he dropped dead while "bleeding" out purple particles out of his stab wound. His body vanished into particles.
The Egg Hammer saw this and now decided to target the mysterious woman in red as he was about to swing his hammer down on her.
The woman grabbed Amy and Ax by their arms and quickly dragged them away from the hammer attack.
"Hey! Little Monkey! Can't you just get out of the ball?" the woman shouted.
AiAi was reluctant to get out of the ball, but decided to take that risk while the Egg Hammer was focused on the woman. AiAi closed his eyes and then, the ball he was inside vanished. He was now able to get out of the hole. He looked back and saw the woman trying to carry both Amy and Ax to safety, but the Egg Hammer caught up to them and was about slam his hammer down on them.
"Eek! Eek! Big Bully Robot! You shall not harm my friends! The magic spell is…EI-EI-POO!" AiAi did a little dance and chanting a spell as he summoned his ball again.
The little monkey dashed towards the Egg Hammer at full speed while inside his ball and struck the back of its right leg with all his might. It didn't do any damage, but it caught the Egg Hammer's attention as it glared down at him.
"Leave my friends alone you jerk! Eek! Eek! What did they ever do to you anyway?" AiAi asked.
The Egg Hammer's only response was another Hammer Strike, but AiAi managed to get out of the way this time. While the Egg Hammer was distracted however, the woman took this opportunity to climb up the back of the robot's back and reach the top of its head.
"Let's hope this works…" the woman then looked down right at the robot's face, "Hey ugly! Come and get me!"
The Egg Hammer tries to Hammer Strike her, but she managed to jump right off him, causing him to hit himself, smashing his own head in the process.
"Alright! It worked!" the woman shouted triumphantly.
"Eek! Eek! Yay!" AiAi shouted triumphantly as well.
The Egg Hammer, now with his own hammer stuck where its head used to be, fell to the ground motionless. And then, it disappeared as purple particles flew out of the spot where he once laid.
With that stubborn bucket of bolts and that ninja out of the picture, the woman and AiAi turned their attention to Amy and Ax, who were both heavily injured.
"Hey, you two still alive?" The woman asked them.
"I'm…alive…but in so much…pain…" Amy groaned in pain as she winced in pain, "Ow!"
"Don't speak, save your energy. Same goes for you." The woman said to both.
"Thank you…for saving us…" Ax barely managed to speak while still in pain from the burn.
"Eek! Eek! Yeah! Thank you for saving us nice lady!" AiAi said, "My name is AiAi by the way, and they're Amy and Ax! Eek!"
"My name is Blaze Fielding, but you can stick to Blaze." The woman introduced herself, "Ever since I got here, I've been fighting against these weird things. Some of them even looked like my friends."
"Eek! Eek! It's been the same for us!" AiAi said, "But I've never seen that Ninja guy before."
"Anyway, I've got some first aid with me. Here, let me treat your wounds." Blaze said as she brought out a First Aid Kit.
Soon after, Blaze, with AiAi's assistance, helped treat Amy and Ax's injuries. Amy had a cast on both her right arm and leg and around the right side of her head, while Ax received the burn injury treatment, although the barbarian flinched in pain a bit, but he endured it as he started feel better.
"Thank you, Blaze." Amy said.
"You are an honorable warrior indeed." Ax said.
"You too AiAi." Amy added.
"Eek! Eek! Yay!" AiAi said.
"You're both welcome." Blaze said, "Let's set up camp here so you two can rest."
"Good idea." Amy said.
Soon after, the four heroes were now sitting around a campfire. Blaze had found a couple of berries and other fruits and shared them with the rest as they were hungry from all that fighting. AiAi, who was out of his ball, was disappointed that there were no bananas, but accepted Blaze's offer, nonetheless. Amy tried one and…it was delicious, but also…there's was something…artificial about it. It was difficult to say. She looked at the others and they didn't seem to mind. Hunger is a scary thing she through. Pushing those thoughts aside, she ate the berries and other fruits anyway.
"I can tell that you think these are fake, but it's better than starving." Blaze said.
"True…" Amy said.
"I wish to have some meat too." Ax said, "Alas, I couldn't find any wild animals to hunt for in that forest."
"Yeah, I didn't find any either. Only those creeps that vanish into those purple thingies when they die." Blaze said.
"Eek! Eek! Apparently, they are clones, created by a mean lady named "Dremagen"." AiAi said.
"Dremagen?" Blaze asked.
"Yeah, I saw her myself." Amy said, "Dr. Eggman, a mustached evil scientist summoned her into my world, and she used the Chaos Emeralds to merge all of our worlds into one using Chaos Control."
"Chaos Emeralds?" Blaze asked.
"Chaos Control?" Ax asked.
"Long story short, the seven Chaos Emeralds are mystical gemstones from my world that can turn your thoughts into power and if you posses all seven of them, you will have the power to either create a miracle, or complete destruction." Amy explained.
"And Dremagen used these…"Chaos Emeralds"…to merge our worlds into one?" Blaze asked.
"That's it." Amy said.
"And Chaos Control is an ability that you can use with these "Emeralds"?" Ax asked.
"Yup, it lets you warp time and space to your will." Amy said, "So you can imagine that it can do if have all seven."
"Yeah, our surroundings pretty much gave that away." Blaze said.
"Eek! Eek! I know, if wanna bring our worlds back to normal, we need the Chaos Emeralds, right?" AiAi asked.
"Yeah, but I don't think its that simple." Amy said, "If Dremagen still has the Emeralds, then getting them away from her will be next to impossible, especially with all those clones protecting her and her ability to just open portals and banish us somewhere."
"There has to be a way to get them away from her though." Ax said, "Everyone must have a weakness."
"Well, its kind of a long shot, but we should be able to make it so Dremagen can't use them against us, if we can find the Master Emerald." Amy said.
"Master Emerald?" Blaze asked, "What is with your world and magical emeralds?"
Amy simply shrugged without saying anything.
Blaze sighed, "Never mind, it doesn't matter. So this "Master Emerald"…is it connected to the Chaos Emeralds?"
"Yes. According to my friend Knuckles, the guardian of the Master Emerald, it is a huge gemstone containing unlimited special powers that can neutralize the power of the Chaos Emeralds!" Amy said, "We find the Master Emerald, and Knuckles, we'll have an advantage over Dremagen! The only problem is…"
"Both could be anywhere in this new distorted dimension." Blaze said.
"But even if we don't know where to look, at least now we have a clear objective." Ax said.
"Eek! Eek! Yeah! It will be an adventure! I love adventures!" AiAi said.
"And there is a chance we might run into more of our friends from our worlds, or perhaps we can find some new allies from other worlds that got dragged into this mess." Ax said.
"Or we could run into more of Dremagen's clone minions." Blaze said, "I'd rather avoid encountering a clone of myself."
"I already encountered mine and it was freaky!" Amy shuddered when she remembered fighting her own clone.
"Indeed, the clones will certainly be a problem. How will we be able to tell them apart from the real ones?" Ax wondered.
"Well, I know who I am and that is all I need to know in order to be able to tell myself apart from the fakers." Amy said.
"Eek! Eek! That Ninja guy must have been a clone of someone from one of the other dimensions! If we can find the real one, do you think he could be our friend?" AiAi asked.
"I hope so, unless he's a villain, which I hope he isn't." Amy said.
"Anyway, I think that's enough chatter for today." Blaze said, "We all had a long day and we're all tired." She then looked at Amy and Ax, "Especially you two since you took the worst beating out of all of us."
Amy and Ax groaned, but both knew she was right.
"Fine, I'm going to get some shut eye then. Good night." Amy said as she let out a yawn and laid down to sleep.
"I too shall turn in for the night. Sleep well everyone." Ax let out a yawn before laying down to sleep.
"Eek! Eek! Night-night!" AiAi yawned as he went to sleep too.
Blaze looked around to make sure that there were no enemies around before she let out a yawn and went to sleep.
And so, the four heroes called it a day as they all slept around the campfire.
Meanwhile…
At Dremagen's castle, the Master of a Thousand Dimensions was looking through different portals as she watched the progress of her dimension's construction. Eggman and his minions/family watched in silence.
"As you can see Doctor, every dimension that make up our universe is now under our control." Dremagen said, "My clones are working tirelessly to keep every square inch of this new world and with your genius and technology combined with my Dimensional powers, as well as the seven Chaos Emeralds, we can rule over all of it unopposed!"
"I must admit, I am impressed. No wonder why you're the Master of a Thousand Dimensions." Eggman said, "But if I understand correctly, even with all that power you are still aware of your limitations and you require my genius to cover that for you?"
"Precisely." Dremagen said, "That is why I wish to appoint you to the position of my dominion's chief scientist as well as the Second-in-Command of my Clone Army. Should you accept my offer, you will have unlimited access to every asset necessary for your experiments and my Clone Army will listen to your commands as well."
Eggman thought about it, while Sage, Metal, Orbot and Cubot watched him curiously.
"Father?" Sage asked.
"Boss?" Orbot asked.
"Well…usually, I don't like sharing, but in this case…I think I'm willing to make an exception." Eggman said, "Very well, I accept your offer, Lady Dremagen."
"Excellent!" Dremagen said, "Allow me to show you, your own personal laboratory."
Dremagen opened a portal and the villainous group walked through it. On the other side, they find themselves in an underground laboratory like the one back at Eggman's base.
"Wow! Impressive work once again Lady Dremagen." Eggman said as he looked around the lab, "I can see what I could do with these babies."
"I am glad it is to your liking." Dremagen said as she turned to one specific machine, "Over there is a portal device that you can also use to monitor the One Dimension and send out clone squads, equipment and your inventions anywhere."
"You really thought of everything haven't you? Very well, I shall use it to its full capacity!" Eggman said.
"Excellent." Dremagen said, "I have some important business to take care of now, so you may start working right away. Call me if you need any help."
"Of course, Lady Dremagen." Eggman said as he bowed his head.
Dremagen disappeared into a portal, leaving the Doctor in the lab with his minions/family.
"Father, do you really think it is wise to trust Dremagen? There is a possibility that she might attempt to dispose of us once all her foes have been vanquished." Sage said, "Proposition: destroy her, before she destroys us."
"I have to agree with little sis boss, I do not trust that woman at all." Orbot said.
"Me neither, she freaks me out!" Cubot said.
Eggman sighed, "I understand that you are all worried about me, but if she really wanted to get rid of us, she could have done so already when she merged all the dimensions into one. Also, she's got the seven Chaos Emeralds on her side so she could wipe the floor with us if we take her on. No, we need to be smart about this."
"What about the Master Emerald?" Sage asked, "It can neutralize the power of the Chaos Emeralds, so perhaps if we can procure it, that will give us an advantage over her."
"But where could the Master Emerald be?" Orbot wondered, "It could have landed in some remote part of the One Dimension."
"Or it could be broken into tiny little pieces, and they scattered everywhere!" Cubot said.
"If the latter one is true, that would make things difficult, since that Knucklehead is the only one who can restore it back to normal." Eggman said, "Still, I agree that the Master Emerald is our best chance to take on Dremagen if she decides to betray us."
Eggman approached the portal device as he sat down on his chair and activated it. Multiple monitors showed various camera footage of different parts of Dremagen's dimension. Orbot and Cubot commented on the freakiness of seeing different parts of different worlds mashed together, like watching some end-of-the-world apocalypse thriller. Then Eggman stopped when he noticed one monitor showing footage of Amy and her new friends sleeping by the campfire.
"What in the!? AMY!?" Eggman gasped in surprise, "So…she's alive and well in this dimension too? And if that's true, then…" He growled as he realized that if that annoying pink monster was here, then there's a chance that he's here too…
Meanwhile…
Sonic the Hedgehog stood in the middle of a city street, under a heavy rain storm, as he stood before a large army of street thugs wearing these tacky 1990s clothing and hairstyles, barbarian-styled warriors and ninjas, but the one who appears to be leading them was a middle-aged man dressed like a mafia boss, with his green suit, red tie, long black hair and carrying a Tommy Gun.
"Lady Dremagen is a busy woman and doesn't want anyone to interfere with her plans for total control over the dimensions, so its time for you to go to sleep with the little fishes." The Mafia Boss said as he raised his Tommy Gun and gave the order, "Get him!"
Sonic grinned as the army charged at him, "Alright! Bring it on!" as the heroic blue hedgehog dashed forward towards the evil army.
