A 16-year-old young man was sweating on a training ground. He had spiky blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing nothing but blue pants and blue sandals. His other clothes were some distance away by a tree. He was now standing in an open area surrounded by a small forest.

The man concentrated and just disappeared. He just flickered out of existence, and in the middle of the forest, something started to flicker at one position. It looked like there was warm air in precisely one spot. The man appeared at that exact spot, and as he did, he jumped up and twisted his body so that his head was facing the ground. Several kunai appeared out of nowhere in both of his hands, which he threw with precision. Targets were set up in several positions around him, and each target was hit directly in the bull's-eye. The man shifted his body position as he fell toward the ground, landing safely in a crouch. He got up and looked around.

'That should do for today,' the man thought and raised his hand. He made a hand sign and disappeared in a flickering motion.

The man appeared at his clothes and took off his sandals and pants. He then went to the river that ran through the training ground and went swimming there. He could shower at home, but he liked bathing in nature.

The man came out sometime later and grabbed a towel. He dried himself off and then put on new clothes that he had gotten out of a backpack. You could see the normal Konoha outfit with a Konoha flak jacket when he was done. This outfit was worn by 90% of the Shinobi from Konoha.

The man took the backpack in one hand and then disappeared again in a flicker. He showed up in front of his apartment and went into the apartment. He put the backpack down and stretched again. He looked out the window and saw how the sun was about to set. 'It will soon be time for the meeting.' thought the man. He looked at a picture of his father and mother. Unfortunately, both of his parents have passed away. The father's name was Minato Namikaze, and the mother's name was Rei Namikaze. The father was a Chunin who could no longer live as a shinobi due to an injury. In this chapter of his life, he also meets the man's mother. The mother's name was Rei Namikaze, and unlike Minato, Rei was a normal civilian.

The man closed his eyes briefly and remained silent for a minute. He opened them again and then walked out of his apartment. He jumped away, and a few minutes later, he landed at a gray building. He quickly looked around to ensure he was in the right place. This was where he was supposed to meet his new team. He hadn't been on a permanent team for three years. His Genin team at the time and his sensei were all killed during one mission. He only survived this incident because an Anbu team found him. He had to hide behind enemy lines for two days until he was found.

He could still remember the conversation with the Hokage. He was surprised that three days ago, he was suddenly visited by an Anbu. He's been a Chunin for two years, hasn't had a single visit from an Anbu since then, and generally went on missions mostly alone. These were mostly C-rank missions where he spent most of his time escorting someone or delivering something to a client. He dealt with bandits 95% of the time, and the other 5% were either weak ninjas or had no complications on his missions.

The man let his blue eyes wander as he walked down the hallway of the Hokage Building. Pictures of landscapes in the Land of Fire hung sporadically on the red walls. He didn't know much about art, but he liked landscapes. He liked being in nature and liked to train there. He did the C-rank missions to pay his rent for his apartment. He occasionally did a B-rank mission with a team of a couple of Chunin, but he's training most of the time. He might become a Jonin, but being a Chunin was enough for him.

He arrived at a wooden door, and when he knocked on it, an answer came after only a few seconds. "Yes, come in." said a voice on the other side of the door.

The man opened the door and went inside. He bowed briefly now that he was in the Hokage's office. The desk was in the office, and pictures of the former Kage could be seen above the door frame. Every Hokage was featured there, from the First Hokage Hashirama Senju to the Fourth Hokage Arashi Uzumaki. The fifth Hokage Tsunade Senju was sitting at the desk before him. She was known for being the strongest kunoichi in the world and the best medic. Her knowledge of medicine is unmatched to this day.

Beside her stood her assistant Shizune, who helped her with her duties as a Hokage.

"Ah, there you are. I've been expecting you," said Tsunade. Tsunade had a file open in front of her. The file included a picture of the man, his personal information, and his past achievements in his shinobi career. Be it the completed missions or the rank.

"I hope you didn't have to wait, Lady Hokage," the man said, shifting his gaze to the file on the desk.

"I've looked at your record, and I'm impressed. You've completed 50 D-rank missions, 68 C-rank missions, and 31 B-rank missions. You've been Chunin for two years and had some success, and customers have always been very satisfied with your work on the mission." Said Tsunade. The voice of Tsunade had something to it that the man couldn't quite make out. Was it contentment or pride? He couldn't exactly say.

"You haven't had a permanent team since the incident. You occasionally worked with another team while doing a B-rank mission. However, you said goodbye to the team immediately after completing the mission," Tsunade said, looking into his eyes.

"Well, Hokage, I've only done enough missions to make enough money. I've been training most of the time and not focusing on much else." said the man. The man understood Tsunade's approach; after all, the village hidden in the leaves was known for teamwork, and the man's approach was strange. Every shinobi from Konoha was expected to have perfect teamwork, and the man couldn't exactly say he was very good at it. He followed orders in a team and carried out the mission, but there's more to teamwork than that.

"I've decided to put you on a team where a team member was currently missing due to certain circumstances," said Tsunade. She was honestly interested in her shinobi. Only a few shinobi have worked alone for so long, most of the time. He also said that he was training most of the time, which means she didn't know exactly how much this shinobi in front of her could do. Was he still just a Chunin, or did he already have the skills of a Jonin? In the file before her stood only the status of 2 years ago when he was already a Chunin by ability. He had shown in the Chunin selection that he had what it takes to become a Chunin.

"As you wish, Lady Hokage. I will do my best," said the man, bowed slightly.

Tsunade smiled and looked forward to tomorrow. In the last three years, she had trained her student to become strong kunoichi and excellent medicine ninja. Her former sensei hadn't been on missions for a while, either. It's about time the two started working together again. After the tragic accident, the team missed a member, and the Uchiha left the village.

She took a long time to review many files, eventually coming across one about a shinobi named Naruto Namikaze. She read the file several times and found that this shinobi best matched her student and sensei.

"Very good. You will meet your new team in 3 days at the gray building before Training Ground 3. Prepare for a little test; I want to see personally what you're capable of." said Tsunade, and she was satisfied when Naruto bowed and said, "As you wish. I'll prepare and be there."

"Well, that's about it. You can go," said Tsunade. She waited a moment, wanting to see Naruto leave the room. Does he go through the door normally, or does he leave the room differently?

"Roger that," Naruto said, raising a hand. He made a hand sign and flickered away. Shizune's eyes widened when she saw this display. "Tsunade! Have you seen that Body Flicker?" asked Shizune. The way Naruto just vanished was more like teleportation than a very fast movement technique.

"Yes, I have Shizune, and I can't wait to see what we'll see on the test," said Tsunade. She was confident that Naruto Namikaze would perfectly complement Sakura Haruno's and Kakashi Hatake's teams. She could only imagine what else Naruto could do. For example, the file didn't say which element he was using, and she probably won't find that out until the test. However, she had a certain idea because she read through Naruto's father's file. The father was one of the windusers in this village, and it could well be that Naruto inherited the wind elementfrom his father. Of course, it could also be that he has a different affinity.

Naruto rechecked his pouches to make sure he had everything. He had enough shuriken in the shuriken pouch, and in his other pouch, which he placed over his hip, he felt other things, such as paper bombs, etc., and he could now say he was prepared.

He leaned against the wall of the building and waited. He was supposed to meet his new team here at sunset, and the sun was beginning to set. Now it's time to wait. He let his eyes wander and looked through the fence that divided the training ground and the building. A little further away, he saw three tree stumps in a small clearing and several small forests around them. He knew there was also a small lake on the training ground, which was very convenient for water jutsus.

Around the corner of the building, a young woman about his age came around and walked straight towards Naruto. He knew the names of the other team members, and he could tell that this was Sakura Haruno. She wore a red sleeveless vest with a white circle on the back. She also wore a light pink skirt with slits on the sides, front, and back, and under the skirt, she wore black shorts and boots of the same color. She also wore light pink elbow pads and black gloves. Her short pink hair fell to her shoulders, and her emerald green eyes were striking.

Naruto researched his team members and knew that Sakura Haruno was Tsunade Senju's student. She was also a medicine ninja, and he could only guess her strength. Tsunade was known for her superhuman strength.

"Hello, my name is Sakura Haruno. Nice to meet you." Sakura said and held out her hand. Naruto smiled and shook Sakura's hand. "It's a pleasure, Sakura. My name is Naruto Namikaze; I hope we get along well," said Naruto.

Both let go of each other's hands. "I've heard a lot about you. You're supposed to be a pretty fast shinobi," Sakura said while examining him closely. The regular Konoha outfit perfectly matched his blue eyes and spiky blond hair. The regular flak jacket didn't seem out of place either; she could tell she'd gotten an attractive team member.

"Huh? I don't remember being very famous. I've been more in the background. Who did you hear that from?" Naruto asked, interested. So far, he hardly had any social contacts and had always trained alone. After all, he had to develop his own jutsu and mastered the Body Flicker Technique within the last two years. He invented his jutsu from an idea he had from his father. One day, Naruto was reading through some of his father's scrolls and came across an idea that his father had. His father had already started developing the jutsu, but his injuries prevented him from pursuing it further. He got the idea after his father watched a Tailed Beast using a Tailed Beast Bomb.

Naruto successfully developed and mastered the Jutsu over the last three years. It was a powerful jutsu used in hand-to-hand combat. Naruto was generally more of a melee fighter. He could excel at range but specialized in close-range combat until he figured out his element and mastered a few elemental jutsu. Getting to his opponents was usually no problem for him, thanks to his beloved Body Flicker. But it also took him a long time to master this simple Jutsu, like a specific Uchiha famous for his mastery of Body Flicker.

"Neji told me about you," Sakura said, and now Naruto knew why she heard about his speed. Neji Hyuga was in his class back then and did a mission with him a month ago. Neji Hyuga was the team leader on the mission because he was already a Jonin. He's not praised as the genius of the Hyuga Clan for nothing. His Gentle Fist was quite dangerous, and since he invented the long-range technique, the Hyuga Clan had become even more dangerous. The otherwise melee-heavy Gentle Fist Taijutsu style now had an all-purpose ranged attack and a strong one. All this was only possible through the genius Neji Hyuga.

"I see," Naruto said and smiled slightly. He wondered how Neji was doing. "I specialize in speed. I can show you what makes me so fast." Naruto said, and Sakura nodded curiously.

She was curious to see what technique Naruto could use to be so fast. She specialized more in strength herself, and if Naruto was that fast, she could well imagine what it would be like to fight alongside him.

Naruto took a few steps from the wall about 10 meters away from Sakura. He had both hands in his pockets and seemed quite relaxed until he suddenly flickered away and appeared behind Sakura.

Sakura was a little startled; she hadn't expected that. She had expected a quick sprint or something, but not at this speed. She turned around and didn't know what to say. "It took me two years to perfect this technique. I use the Body Flicker Technique, which almost everyone knows," said Naruto.

The Body Flicker Technique was known by every Shinobi who also knew the Substitution Jutsu since the speed of the Body Flicker made it possible for the Substitution to work. However, only a few people took their time to master the D-Rank Jutsu to the degree Naruto did. Many used it to travel or to escape a dangerous situation. However, being able to use it in a fight where someone couldn't concentrate enough to execute the Jutsu without injuring themselves was another story. If someone wasn't careful enough, they could injure themselves pretty badly when they would use the Body Flicker and crash through a wall or something similar. There would also be the issue of the extreme speed at which the user traveled when he used the Jutsu when it was now the eye that needed to be able to see even at this incredible speed or the body itself that needed to get used to the speed when someone used it in great succession. Many factors played a role in mastering this everyday Jutsu to the degree that Naruto did.

Sakura was now impressed by her new comrade. Due to this fact alone, she was glad she now had Naruto as a team member. The fact that he's pretty good-looking only makes that fact better. She had a youthful crush on her former team member, Sasuke Uchiha. However, an incident changed her interest somewhat. She always hated her big forehead because she was teased about it back then. However, a boy then thought her forehead was beautiful, saving her from bullies. This was shortly after the teams were formed. She couldn't remember what the boy looked like. However, she knew from then on that her interest lay with another boy, not Sasuke Uchiha.

"Were we that early, or does Kakashi Hatake always come that late?" asked Naruto, looking into the distance. The sun kept going down, and Kakashi Hatake still had yet to show up.

Sakura just looked straight ahead with a blank look. "That's how Sensei Kakashi has always been. I wouldn't be surprised if he turns up an hour late like usual," said Sakura.

Naruto smiled awkwardly at the look on her face. 'She seems to know and must have come on time for me. Now she has to wait for Kakashi because of me,' thought Naruto.

"That won't be necessary, Sakura," said a female voice. Naruto and Sakura looked to the side and saw several people standing there.

Alongside Tsunade and Shizune, Kakashi Hatake was wearing a normal Jonin outfit. His silver hair stood out to the side, and his headband covered one eye. He also wore a face mask.

"Good day, everybody," Naruto said, bowing. Tsunade and Shizune greeted the two and chatted briefly. Kakashi then introduced himself as well.

"Hello Naruto, my name is Kakashi. I will lead this team for the next time," he said while reading an orange book as usual.

"I'm honored to work with the legendary copy ninja," said Naruto. Kakashi looked up from his book, surprised, and eyed Naruto. Kakashi read through Naruto's file and was interested. There weren't many Chunin in the village who showed as much potential as Naruto. The Chunin who have been Chunin for over six years mostly remain Chunin. However, the generation of Sakura and Naruto showed great potential. He only knew bits and pieces of what his former student was capable of and was excited about the fight.

"Okay, enough talking. It's about time. We're already behind schedule, so here we go," Tsunade said, walking towards the training ground.

After 5 minutes, Naruto and Sakura stood next to each other. Kakashi stood a few meters before them, holding two bells and explaining the training rules.

On the sidelines, Shizune and Tsunade stand by a tree and watch. Both were excited to see how the fight would go.

"Everything is allowed; you can even take the shuriken and kunai." Kakashi finally said and put his book in his holster.

"You have 3 hours. Let's start," said Kakashi and disappeared in a puff of smoke. Sakura and Naruto stopped in their place and looked around.

Tsunade smiled and looked especially at Sakura. 'So, what are you going to do now, Sakura?' she thought.

'Right, left, above, behind me,' thought Sakura and turned around. 'He's not there.' She made a fist with her right hand and focused her chakra. She concentrated it in her fist and made a downward blow with her right fist. "So, he's under us!" Sakura said, and as her fist hit the ground, cracks appeared in front of her and widened more and more. The ground was ruptured, and earth plates were exposed. Kakashi was directly between these earth plates, and he had a slightly nervous expression. "Wow, what an incredible power," he said to no one in particular.

Naruto stood his ground as Sakura split the earth apart with just one punch. 'As I thought, she learned superhuman strength from Tsunade Senju,' he thought. He had to use more chakra than usual at the moment of the punch to keep from falling over. He smiled slightly and stood next to Sakura.

Kakashi jumped out from between the earth plates and looked closely at the two. He had a hunch, but seeing the power directly was amazing. He had hoped that Tsunade would only have taught her Medical Ninjutsu. This makes the whole training more difficult and dangerous for him. He would do himself a favor by not letting a blow hit him. He raised his hand and pushed up his headband, revealing his other eye. When he opened it, the famous Sharingan appeared. "It looks like I'll have to try harder to get through this training session," he said.

Sakura smiled straight away when she saw her sensei become serious. She had not trained under her master for three years in vain and would prove it today.

Naruto reached into his shuriken pouch and pulled out a couple of shuriken, which he held between his fingers. Sakura started sprinting and started engaging her sensei in a Taijutsu fight.

Sakura tried to hit her Sensei, and Kakashi could only dodge. If he tried to block one of Sakura's punches, he would quickly learn what it's like to fly.

Kakashi dodged another punch from Sakura and jumped backward. Sakura had pushed Kakashi into the forest, meaning more hiding places were around. Like from the hideout where several shurikens came flying. Kakashi landed on a branch, quickly grabbed a kunai in his pouch, and deflected the incoming shuriken. The familiar sound of metal hitting metal rang out several times. Kakashi even caught some shuriken and threw it back to the sender.

Naruto ducked under the incoming shuriken and smiled slightly. Kakashi's Sharingan made him perceive things more slowly and react better to dangerous situations. He knew beforehand that this training would be difficult.

He lifted his head and went from his crouch into a handstand. He changed the position of his hands and let his body fall to the side. He moved with his hands and let his body whirl around quickly. He met Kakashi's kick, and when both legs bumped against each other, it seemed time stood still. Naruto and Kakashi locked eyes, and Naruto looked into Kakashi's eye, which wasn't a Sharingan. Even if he's not a Uchiha, Kakashi would know how to cast a Genjutsu on you with just eye contact. Naruto wanted to avoid that.

Both of them moved away from each other, and when Kakashi landed in front of a tree, he had to jump sideways again as Sakura appeared above him and performed a downward kick. Kakashi landed a few feet away and only saw the tree fall. His sweat dropped slightly, and he sighed. 'It used to be a lot of fun here.' he thought to himself, remembering when Sakura and Sasuke were fresh out of the Academy.

Kakashi saw Sakura but not Naruto. He felt the wind pick up slightly behind him, which was the only indicator he had as his Sharingan warned him of the fist fast approaching. Kakashi ducked at the last moment as Naruto's fist missed him.

Naruto had appeared behind Kakashi in a flicker and, unfortunately, missed Kakashi. Had someone else been in Kakashi's position, this punch would havehad a 99 percent chance of hitting.

Naruto jumped over a deep kick from Kakashi and flipped forward. As he twisted his body, he stretched out his leg, and the movement gave his leg great energy. He tried to kick Kakashi and missed again. Kakashi was pretty quick.

Kakashi landed a few meters away and saw several kunai and shuriken flying towards him. As before, he grabbed a kunai and wanted to deflect all the projectiles. However, his eyes widened when Naruto appeared behind him and attacked him with a kunai. Naruto's kunai hit Kakashi's, and they both started fighting each other with the kunai. Meanwhile, the projectiles kept getting closer, and just as they could make contact with the two, Naruto disappeared just a millisecond earlier, and Kakashi used a seal-less substitution, swapping places with a log.

Naruto appeared next to Sakura and looked around. He felt something wanting to invade his chakra network, and as he saw out of the corner of his eye, Sakura felt the same way. Kakashi activated a Genjutsu that shrouded the entire forest in a dense fog.

Naruto dispelled the illusion, and as he did, the mist vanished. Looking to the side, he saw that Sakura had also released the Genjutsu.

Kakashi hides behind a tree and analyzes Naruto closely. His Body Flicker was truly out of this world; the last time he saw such mastery over this simple technique was Shisui Uchia. Naruto's punches or attacks would have hit him several times if he hadn't had his Sharingan. This boy reminded him a bit of his deceased Sensei. His sensei couldn't do much, but what he could do, he could do to perfection, and with his Flying Raijin Jutsu, his sensei was the fastest shinobi of all time. So far, Naruto had only used the Body Flicker, Taijutsu, and Shurikenjutsu. Kakashi could see that Naruto puts a lot of time into mastering one thing.

"Naruto, Kakashi is behind the tree," she said and got ready. They briefly communicated a strategy to each other through the Anbu sign language.

"All right, thanks, Sakura," Naruto said while raising his hand. Sakura stopped when she saw what Naruto was doing next to her. A rotating blue sphere appeared above his hand. 'What kind of jutsu is that?' thought Sakura. Tsunade and Shizune thought something similar.

Naruto ran towards the tree and thrust his arm forward. His jutsu drilled through the log like it was butter. Kakashi, who was behind the tree, had to jump back. Naruto's jutsu hit the ground, creating a spiraling crater on impact. Naruto canceled his jutsu and jumped after Kakashi with a drawn kunai. Kakashi pulled out his kunai, and when both opponents met in the air, a wild Taijutsu fight began, with the kunai being used by both parties.

Whether it was the kunai, slashes, kicks, or other attacks, both opponents negated each other's attacks, and you could see that Naruto's Taijutsu was based on speed. Kakashi had to try hard because sometimes Naruto disappeared in front of him and reappeared behind him. He was so glad he had his Sharingan and could see Naruto's movement slower.

Naruto and Kakashi pushed each other off, landed on the ground a few meters apart, and slid over it a bit as well. However, Kakashi had no break as Sakura appeared over him again and cleaved the earth with a downward punch. Kakashi jumped to the side just in time, and Sakura gritted her teeth while watching her sensei go.

'I never realized how good Sensei Kakashi is,' she thought to herself and jumped back onto solid ground that wasn't torn open by her blow. Naruto appeared next to her in a flicker. "Sensei Kakashi," Sakura said and looked at her sensei, standing across from them with a few drops of sweat on his forehead.

"Yes, what is Sakura?" asked Kakashi.

"I would say that Naruto and I have proved that we are capable of Taijutsu and Genjutsu," she said with a smile.

"You're right. It's time for the last art a shinobi should know," said Kakashi with a different expression.

"Ninjutsu," he finally said and started making hand signs at an absurd rate. Sakura couldn't believe her eyes; she couldn't see how fast Kakashi was doing his finger signs! They were way too fast.

Naruto could see through his trained eyes how fast Kakashi made his finger signs. This Jutsu was so common in the fire nation that he would recognize these finger signs repeatedly. "Sakura, watch out; he's about to attack with the Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu," he said in a serious voice. Sakura just nodded, and not a second later, Kakashi said the name of the jutsu and took a deep breath while covering his mouth with a hand. After that, he unleashed a massive ball of fire from his mouth that directly headed toward Naruto and Sakura.

Sakura and Naruto used a substitution early on, swapping places with a log. The two tree trunks were reduced to ashes by the hot flames.

A cloud of smoke arose as the flames eventually dissipated, and Kakashi wanted to use this cloud of smoke to burrow. He was about to do so, too, but he suddenly heard a strange noise above him, and when he looked up, his normal eye and Sharingan widened. Directly above him, Naruto appeared in a flicker. He held the blue spinning sphere in his hand again, and Kakashi only saw in slow motion how this jutsu came closer and closer to him. He saw only one way to counter it and reacted with lightning speed. Lightning formed around Kakashi's hand, and he countered Naruto's jutsu with that hand.

When Naruto's jutsu and Kakashi's jutsu met, both shouted their jutsu's name.

"RASENGAN!" (Spiral Sphere) yelled Naruto.

"RAIKIRI!" (Lightning Cutter) yelled Kakashi.

As the two attacks met, strong winds began to form, blowing in all directions from the center of the shock wave. Lightning and Visible Blue Chakra also flew around the two, and the ground beneath Kakashi's feet was split open by the shock wave created by the impact of the two jutsu.

Sakura stood a little further away and used chakra to avoid being knocked off. She saw the effects of Naruto's jutsu and didn't know what to say. She knew her sensei's Raikiri very well, and Naruto's jutsu could keep up with this, which says a lot about his jutsu. It must be at least A rank. She had never seen this jutsu, and it seemed Naruto could form and use the jutsu without hand signs.

The two viewers also had thoughts on this, all with one thing in common. Everyone was impressed by the Rasengan and wondered how long Naruto took to develop this jutsu.

Tsunade was more than impressed; she had never expected such events to occur during this test. She already knew of the Body Flicker, so she wasn't surprised at how well Naruto handled the technique. This Rasengan, however, was a different story. She had never seen this jutsu, and when she saw that this jutsu was equal to Kakashi's Raikiri, she didn't know what to think. This jutsu was an A-rank jutsu, that's for sure. She found a real gem among her shinobi and was happy that Naruto was now on Kakashi's team.

There was a small explosion, knocking Naruto and Kakashi backward. Neither technique could defeat the other, resulting in the well-known explosion. Sakura caught Naruto in flight, allowing him to land safely on his feet. When he landed, Sakura still had one hand on his hip.

Kakashi wasn't so lucky and had to fight hard to land safely against a tree. He hung on the tree and looked at the spot where his Raikiri met Naruto's Rasengan. 'I didn't put my full power into the jutsu, but still... this jutsu from Naruto is very dangerous.' he thought.

"Thanks, Sakura," said Naruto. He smiled at her in thanks and then looked back at Kakashi. Sakura smiled back slightly and then got serious again. She made a mental note to remind herself how Naruto's body felt afterward.

She also looked ahead and looked at her sensei. "That's a dangerous jutsu you've mastered, Naruto," Kakashi said a little louder because the two parties stood a little further away.

"I can only give the praise back; your Raikiri lives up to his name," Naruto said back in full respect.

"Shall we start the next round then?" Naruto asked nobody in particular and touched Sakura on the shoulder. Sakura was already clenching a fist and getting ready. 'Don't pay attention to the disorientation, only to the blow.' she thought to herself before she was moved directly over Kakashi by Naruto with a fast body flicker.

Sakura closed her eyes and punched down with a fist that could split the earth. Kakashi jumped away and barely. So far, he's only had to watch out for Sakura's power, but it's a dangerous combination combined with Naruto's speed. The blow didn't hit this time, but Sakura's fist came close to Kakashi, which said a lot. Kakashi was much faster than Sakura.

Naruto was still in the air when Sakura's punch hit the ground. The earth was shaking again, and dust whirled up. Naruto took this chance and threw some kunai that appeared out of nowhere between his fingertips toward where Kakashi disappeared. He was still determining exactly where he was, so he threw them at specific angles. Some flew straight out as normal, but some flew toward the others, changing their trajectory.

Kakashi had some sweat on his forehead, and he was panting slightly. 'What a team. I hope-' he was snapped out of his thoughts when he could make out several kunai in the cloud of dust with his Sharingan. He pulled out a kunai, repelling the first wave of kunai. He could see from the trajectory that Naruto and Sakura needed to figure out exactly where he was. What bothers him, however, was the Kunai, which suddenly came from above and not from the front, as if someone manipulated the Kunai's trajectory with a wire or in some other way.

Naruto and Sakura waited until the dust cloud settled a bit. They were both behind a tree, trying to locate Kakashi.

The cloud of dust settled, and Kakashi stood before the small lake. He didn't have to wait long. Sakura and Naruto jumped out of the forest and landed a few meters away from him. "Hey, there you are," said Kakashi.

'Then let's see what you're up to now.' thought Kakashi. Sakura ran towards him and wanted to engage him in a Taijutsu match, but Kakashi started doing hand signs again at an absurd rate. Naruto had already thrown a kunai and was already on the last-hand sign of his jutsu. 'Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!' he thought, and one kunai became more than 30. Sakura kept running, not flinching as the kunai flew past her, barely missing her. Naruto was quite gifted with kunai; these were the thoughts of the observers.

Kakashi made his last finger sign soon enough and said, "Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!" A water dragon with yellow eyes rose from the lake and headed straight for Sakura. The kunai hit the dragon and were repelled. In time, Sakura couldn't use a substitution and was washed away by the water dragon. Naruto jumped next to her and helped her up. "Everything all right?"

"Yes, everything all right," she said. "I hope your plan works. Slowly, I don't know what to do anymore," she said, slightly desperate. Only during the fight did she realize how strong her sensei was.

"Don't worry, everything is ready," he said, looking towards Kakashi again. He was gone, and Naruto could only guess where he was. He wrapped an arm around Sakura's waist and jumped up in time to avoid two hands. Those two hands were sticking out of the ground, and Naruto figured this was a Shadow Clone, but he had to do something. He formed a Rasengan with his free hand, and as he fell to the ground with Sakura, he rammed the Rasengan into the ground where Kakashi was.

A small crater formed, and the appearance of a cloud of smoke signaled to him that his guess was correct. Sakura concentrated; this had just gone well. She realized too late that her sensei had appeared under them. Without Naruto's intervention, she would be up to her head on the ground. She also fought the blood that wanted to get to her head. There was a better time for that.

Naruto let go of Sakura, and they both looked around. Kakashi's whereabouts weren't known, nor were sensor ninjas, meaning they must find Kakashi another way.

Naruto had a little trick up his sleeve, however. No one could feel a chakra pulse emanating from Naruto's body.

Naruto's eyes were closed, concentrating on his chakra flying around the trees and rocks. He could feel the onlookers as his chakra crashed into three bodies. Even Kakashi got hit by the chakra pulse, so Naruto knew where he was. He grinned when Kakashi happened to be right in the area where he set his trap.

"Sakura, let's go; Kakashi is at point alpha," he said, and Sakura nodded. They both jumped into the trees and made their way to Kakashi.

Kakashi looked around with his Sharingan; he saw the chakra pulse with his Sharingan and how it hit his body. He assumed this was a jutsu to track him down. He looked at the sky and noticed the test was slowly ending. He just had to hold on a little longer, and he would win this test.

He didn't have to wait long for Sakura and Naruto when Naruto came sprinting out from behind a tree. Kakashi braced himself and intercepted Naruto's first punch. The two started a wild Taijutsu fight and pulled out a kunai. Between the physical contact, there was also repeated contact from metal to metal, and as a result, yellow sparks flew several times. The fight was no longer trackable for a ninja below Chunin level. Both of them were very fast.

Sakura stood in one place and held a kunai to a wire that became multiple wires and ran in all directions. Naruto set traps here with the help of his Body Flicker during the fight. There were ways to trigger them individually, but there were also ways to start them all at once.

She watched Naruto and Kakashi fight closely and saw how Naruto maneuvered Kakashi to the exact spot with his punches where all the traps would snap shut.

The time had come, and Sakura cut the thin wire with her kunai. What happened next was a true spectacle.

Naruto deflected Kakashi's punch and made a hand sign. He flickered away, and Kakashi's eyes widened as kunai and shuriken flew from all directions. Even two huge logs came flying towards Kakashi's position. He was about to do a substitution but couldn't. A foreign chakra tried to invade his chakra network, which signaled the use of a Genjutsu. Kakashi resolved the Genjutsu but was immediately caught in a new one. This time, he broke it with his Sharingan and used the Substitution at the last second to swap places with a log.

What Kakashi didn't notice, however, was how Naruto briefly appeared in a low position directly behind Kakashi, grabbed the bells, and then immediately disappeared again. Kakashi's mind was on the hundreds of kunai and shuriken flying towards him and the two Genjutsu that Sakura cast on Kakashi in a row. Those Genjutsu only made sure he didn't notice Naruto.

Kakashi sighed in relief as he secured himself to a tree with his back, and Tsunade's appearance marked the end of the test. He closed his Sharingan and shifted the position of his headband a bit so his Sharingan was hidden again. 'Those last Genjutsu traps were fatal.' thought Kakashi. Just a second later, he would have been a sieve.

"Kakashi, come here; the test is over," said Tsunade from a distance. In front of her stood Naruto and Sakura. Sakura had a few more scratches than Naruto, but generally, they still look good.

Kakashi came along and was pretty sure that Tsunade would tell him about Kakashi's victory. However, something wasn't right because Naruto and Sakura were smiling at him weirdly. 'What's going on here?' thought Kakashi.

After that, when Naruto and Sakura each held up a bell, Kakashi's visible eye widened. "When?" he asked in disbelief.

"When you were busy with the two Genjutsu, Sensei Kakashi," Sakura said.

Kakashi now realized what had happened there. The two lured him exactly to the trap and then triggered it. After that, Sakura hit him with several Genjutsu, and Naruto took the moment and grabbed the bells.

"So Kakashi, what's your judgment?" Tsunade asked.

Kakashi raised both hands. "They took the bells off me with an excellent strategy," he said, smiling slightly under his mask. Reminiscing about the fight and how the two worked together warmed his heart. That's how it should be among comrades.

Tsunade let Naruto and Sakura know she was very proud of them and that the 3 were officially Team Kakashi. Naruto didn't know exactly what it was; he talked to a few people and even laughed a few times. However, that was different at the moment. Having a permanent team after such a long time didn't seem so bad. After losing his team back then, he didn't want to be in a permanent team for a long time. But now, after all these years, he's slowly getting over the deaths of his comrades and could finally move forward. He had also become stronger now and could protect his comrades.

Tsunade and Shizune then returned to the village. Naruto and Sakura said goodbye, both of whom needed some rest now. The fight was exhausting, and both used a lot of chakra in this fight. They weren't like Tsunade from a clan that gave the members high chakra reserves naturally. Naruto and Sakura were normal Shinobi with chakra reserves that were more common around Shinobi.

Naruto showed up at his apartment in the usual Body Flicker he's now known for to some people, walked inside, and went straight to the bathroom. It was already dark, but he planned to go to the hot springs soon.

As he showered in the bathroom, he let the warm water run over his tense muscles. He didn't take much time in the shower and dried himself off immediately. He changed into his normal Chunin outfit, took a bag he had packed earlier, walked outside, and flickered away.

Naruto came out of the locker room and went straight into the hot water after throwing a bucket of water over his body once. With a towel wrapped around his waist, he stepped into the hot water and let the hot spring work its magic. He was in one of the more secluded hot springs, with hardly any visitors.

He liked going to this hot spring because there were never any problems. There were also separate baths here, meaning there were no problems with men. Enough men liked to peek at women in the hot springs, so he wondered why there were still so many mixed baths in the first place.

Naruto's ear twitched when he heard female voices on the other side of the partition. 'It looks like there are more visitors today than usual. I'm usually the only one here, especially at such a time,' he thought to himself and then closed his eyes. He just leaned back and enjoyed the warmth.

A few familiar faces could be seen on the other side of the fence. For one, there would be Sakura Haruno. She just wanted to lie in the bathtub at home and let the evening disappear. Her muscles were still slightly tense from today's training session with her new team. She was happy she was finally back in a team with her old sensei. She's also glad she got someone like Naruto as an additional team member. His skills were special—just his use of the Body Flicker and his Rasengan. However, Sakura accidentally ran into her rival, and she asked her if she didn't want to go to a new hot spring she discovered. It was supposed to be on the outskirts, so it was hardly visited or known. Sakura didn't mind and agreed.

Said rival sits next to her. Her name was Ino Yamanaka. She has long blond hair and azure eyes. The eyes of the Yamanaka clan are truly something special; they stand out from the crowd. She used to be a student of Tsunade, just like Sakura, but she stopped after learning the basics of Medical Ninjutsu and focused more on her clan techniques. There was, of course, the Ino-Shika-Cho formation.

"So, forehead, I heard you teamed up with Sensei Kakashi again?" asked Ino.

"Yes, I'm officially a member of Team Kakashi again," said Sakura. The two women were still talking and catching up on the time. Both have hardly done anything together lately, and both have a lot to talk about.

"Really? Shikamaru has to take care of Temari? That must be annoying for him again." Sakura said, slightly amused, and Ino could only agree with Sakura.

"You know Shikamaru, he's annoyed by everything and everyone," she giggled. "But something else, have you already met the friend from Neji and Tenten? He looks hot!" she said in a slightly raised voice.

"No, I haven't yet. Since Neji became a Jonin, he hasn't had much time. Then there are his clan duties; it's strange to see him with his team." Sakura said slightly thoughtfully. She only saw Neji briefly once but otherwise never saw him.

"You're right, of course. However, I saw him with some real eye candy the other day. This guy looked good." Ino said to Sakura in a knowing voice. Of course, Sakura recognized this voice directly and noticed how a vein had become visible on her forehead. "I am all ears, Ino-Pig," Sakura said simply in response.

Naruto just woke up. He straightened up and looked out the window. The sun rose on the horizon. He stretched first and felt his muscles completely regenerate. Hot springs have always been a miracle cure for sore muscles, so there was no need to have a medicine ninja. Even if he now theoretically has a medicine ninja directly on his team.

He got up and made his bed neatly. He was currently wearing nothing but blue underpants so that you could see his muscular upper body. It wasn't too much muscle, but it wasn't too few. It was the perfect number for a body trained for speed. Naruto went to the bathroom and went about his morning routine.

When Naruto had also made some food and ate it peacefully, he put on his Chunin outfit and tied his blue headband around his forehead. He placed his pouches in the usual places, grabbed his key, and headed into the hallway. He put on his blue sandals and then walked out the door. He locked the door behind him and started walking into the village. He lived rather outside, near the Uchiha clan. From his apartment, he had a good view of the compound owned by the Uchiha clan and its size.

At some point, he was in the middle of the village and went into a shinobi shop. He had perfected everything he could so far. He had perfected the Rasengan, his Body Flicker Technique, his Shurikenjutsu, and his Taijutsu, which were also very good, and now he felt that he was ready for his element. He was curious whether he was a wind user like his father or a fire user like most people in the fire nation.

He needed chakra paper for this training, which he could only get in a shinobi shop. He wondered how long it would take him. It took him two years to train with the Body Flicker, and Naruto didn't want to discuss the Rasengan. Mastering the element was always hard training. But he would do it like always, with focus and concentration.
