Space. Stars and beautiful black void.
[Sam's Voice] "My dad always loved space."
A bright blue blast of energy flies through the eternal night and straight for the head of Knowhere. That blast is Sam, in full Nova armor and helmet, cruising in flight.
"So do I."
Sam lands and is greeted by the townspeople, all happy to see him. He is then greeted by the Guardians.
"I've got an amazing space family..."
They all are happy to see him, and hug him. Even Cosmo the Space Dog jumps up and locks his face.
"And a space dog, too!"
[Cut to Earth, Alexander Home]
"...also got an earth family."
Sam is sitting at a table having dinner with his mother, Eva, and little sister, Kaelynn.
"Best mom and best annoying little sister I could ask for."
Cut to Sam doing the dishes with Eva, the to him and his sister outside, with him pushing her on the swing set.
"Higher, Sam! Higher!" Kaelynn cries out joyfully. Sam laughs and does so.
Eva watches from inside the house with a proud, tearful smile.
[Cut to Paris, Eiffel Tower]
"And I've got the best girlfriend in the universe."
Fireworks go off as Sam and Kamala watch from the top, holding one another. They even share a kiss.
[Fade to black]
"Gotta say, life is pretty good."
[Fade in...] A pair large booted feet step forward, [camera pans up] showing a large, bulky body with the head of a white tiger, with one of his eyes being robotic and glowing red.
"Burn it all!"
[Cut to...] Chitauri ships flying over Xandar and firing upon the city, and soldiers landing on the ground attacking people and Nova Corps HQ.
A YOUNG HERO
[Nova Prime's Voice] "His name is Titus."
Nova Prime shows both Sam and the Guardians a holographic profile of the tiger-like villain.
Denarian Dey: "Former corps member, turned mercenary. He's killed multiple other's. Including..."
A chart with all the members Titus has killed comes up. One of them in clouding a picture of Jesse Alexander.
"Dad!..."
IS ABOUT TO LEARN
Flashes of Jesse playing with a young Sam, showing him the stars, and him telling him and Kaelynn bedtime stories.
[Cut to black screen]
[Rocket's Voice] "Sam, don't go looking for revenge."
Fade in to Sam and Rocket sitting down and the "raccoon" comforting his young friend. Sam looks to Rocket with tears in his face.
"You're not gonna like what you find."
[Cut to...] Sam standing in a large room with Titus circling him.
"You cannot handle the power you wield, child."
Anger and rage are clear on Sam's face.
THE REAL MEANING
Quill: "Remember to always hold the ones you love close to you."
[Cut to...] Sam looks to Adolescent Groot on his back as he gives him a piggyback ride. "I am Groot!"
Sam flies through the air with Rocket who smiles at him. Cut to Drax and Sam having an arm wrestling match. Then to Sam and Mantis sitting criss-cross, meditating.
Cut to Gamora looking at Sam with a frown, but he still stands there with a look of sympathy.
OF POWER
[Fade out...]
Eva: "Your father always believed in you."
Sam and his mother sit on a couch with him holding the helmet in his hand, and her comforting him.
Fade out to Sam and Titus have a one on one stand off before charging at one another.
Cut to black...
"And now its your time to shine."
[Kamala's Voice] "You've got this, babe."
Sam: "Here we go."
[Cut to...] Sam flies through the air, blasting Chitauri ships and soldiers away. Hurling right for a large black ship(Titus'). Glowing even brighter, he flies right through the ship like nothing.
"WOOHOO!"
[Cut to black, Fade in]
NOVA
[Fade out]
[Sam's Voice] "Lemme get this straight..."
Fade in to Sam in the Benetar, holding an aero-rig and talking to Drax. "You don't like wearing these because they pinch your nipples?"
"Yes." Drax replies, nodding," And I have sensitive nipples which makes it much worse."
Sam breaks out in laughter, even rolling on his side while Drax looks at him with a frown.
[Cut to...] Rocket and Quill jump out of the Benetar into open sky and Sam right behind them.
Quill's rocket boots fire up and Rocket taps his aero-rig, causing it to form around his torso and the thrusters to send him flying.
Sam sees this and does the same. But as it forms around his chest, his eyes widen and he yelps, "Ahhhh! They do frickin' pinch!"
Up above, Drax let's out a hearty belly laugh at Sam's cries. "TOLD YOU!"
Sam grits his teeth as he takes off flying through the clouds with his friends.
COMING SOON
BOOM! Man that was fun to make! Hahahaha! I got the inspiration for this after seeing Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3. Watching Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 really hit me in the heart. ❤️ This along with the fact that Rocket and the Guardians trained hi in the comics, I've gotten a burst of inspiration and am already writing Nova. A plot is already in place and it's underway. Can't wait to share it with you guys.
