November 2108: Foothold becomes the first human colony on a moon of Jupiter.

May 2120: A (relatively) efficient method for producing antimatter is discovered within the Mars Ruins. While it does not make antimatter a viable fuel source for civilian vessels, it makes antiproton drives viable for military use, though not for cruising, leading to human warships having both Antiproton and Fusion Drives.

October 2120: The fabricator is created, allowing for easier long distance colonizations, leading to a colonization boom.

December 2120: There is an increase in pirate activity within the belt die to the proliferation of fabricators. This marks the beginning of the Belt Wars, a number of conflicts between mercanaries, pirates, corperations, militias, and national and corporate proxies pretending to be either of the first two.

March 2126: Massive investments in Mercury as a mining and energy collection base begin, though the inhospitable environment and high heat precludes serious colonization by humans, with only a minimal staff operating on the world in underground facilities.

August 2131: First manned expedition to Pluto is launched.

November 2131: Jovian War begins between some of the independent settlements around Jupiter. Some of the groups involved in the fighting have support from earth-based governments, leading to the war being considered a farther afield continuation of the Belt Wars.

June 2132: Jovian Wars end, having provided useful information on space combat and conflict in confined space settlements.

October 2132: The Jovian League is formed by the majority of independent settlements around Jupiter. Increased stability after the war and the economic bonds formed by the League lead to an economic and population boom for Jupiter.

September 2135: The Jovian League surpasses the Adonis Republic as the largest space-based nation.

December 2136: Final Belt War ends. The conflicts have done a great deal for expanding humanity's knowledge of space combat.

June 2147: First ships and products using eezo begin production. The new vessels dramatically decrease the cost of travel both from Earth and across the system.

July 2147: First examples of eezo are discovered on Earth, though in low density and limited amounts. The significantly larger amounts discovered in other areas of the system are of greater note and draw much of the attention and investment away from the rush on Mars, though it still goes strong.

April 2148: Propecters searching a notable anomaly on Mars for eezo discover the Prothean Ruins.

May 2148: Negotiations for the formation of the Systems Alliance begin.

December 2149: The SSV Vasco de Gama discovers Demeter in the Lacaille System, the first Garden World discovered by humanity.

January 2150: All Primary Relays in the Arcturus System are opened, though exploration is delayed to one expedition at a time. Expeditions beyond Arcturus commence using the information found within the Mars Ruins. Task Force Gemini launches, traveling to the Exodus Cluster for exploration.

March 2150: Ships begin attempting to pass through the Charon Relay, then escaping beyond the opened Relays. Protection around the Charon Relay increases significantly by month's end alongside Alliance presence in Arcturus, significantly lowering the amount of successful attempts.

September 2150: Wreck of a massive prothean warship is discovered in the Destiny System of the Exodus Cluster. This accelerates the Alliance warship program and leads to the planning of the Everest class.

January 2151: The Cerberus military base is completed. First Alliance warships begin production, including a pair of massive Everest class Dreadnoughts, the largest human warships in existence. Task Force Nova launches, traveling to the Mkali Pool. They are met by several small (none larger than a few thousand people) human communities started by the rough ships launched earlier in the year. Some of the groups react hostilly to the Alliance, but are fended off with minimal casualties.

January 2152: Task Force Helios launches, reaching the Flame Nebula and finding a similar situation as in the Mkali Pool. The Delta Pavonis Foundation colonizes Demeter; 10,000 colonists travel on the MSV Spring Dawn and set up Thesmophoros City, the first large, planned colony beyond the Sol System. Pressure for the Alliance to begin allowing non-Alliance exploration beyond the Charon Relay increases.

February 2152: Charon Relay activates after changing its orientation. The Relay deposits a vessel from the Granger Expedition into the Sol System, the Expedition having reached its destination and finding a Relay alongside a ruined prothean colony. This proves the final nail in the Alliance's current policy related to civilian restriction from going beyond the Charon Relay. The Alliance begins approving civilian vessels traveling beyond the Charon Relay, though under some restrictions.

March 2152: Terra Nova becomes the first world to be officially colonized beyond the Charon Relay. It is quickly followed by many more colonies and mining bases, some of which begin to get into conflict.

May 2152: Seeing the chaos of unregulated colonization, the Alliance forms the charter system. The Alliance claims all systems outside of Sol, and begins to sell charters that approved a group to utilize and own a patch of land or asteroid or group of asteroids as long as the charter holder follows the rules set out by the charter. This causes contention with independent colonies, especially the newly formed Granger Republic. Several groups and individuals begin to purchase large amounts of territory, but not using it, foreseeing that the worth of their new territory will increase over the next few years.

June 2152: An addendum to the charter system is added, giving all existing colonies, though no new one past June 20th, significant amounts of territory around their settlements and discounted rates on charters for nearby lands. This somewhat placates most colonies, but some continue to resist. The Alliance also promises a large portion of any territory surveyed by a group.

January 2153: Task Force Leo launches, arriving in the Flame Nebula.

July 2153: Free People's Alliance is formed by several independent settlements across Alliance space .

September 2153: Secondary Relay is discovered in the Altair System, which was missed during the original surveying of the system, increasing interest in colonization.

April 2154: Task Force Orion opens a Primary Relay within the Seraph Nebula, arriving at the Orion Nebula.

August 2154: The reactor of the MSV Kami explodes as the vessel lowers into Earth's atmosphere, causing debrief and eezo to be scattered over Siberia.

April 2156: Task Force Andromeda opens a Primary Relay in the Ginnungagap, arriving in the Xingyun Cluster, home to the Garden World of Shanxi.

July 2156: Primary Relay Da Ling Er-01, better known to the Hierarchy as Primary Relay 314, is discovered in the Da Ling Er System. System is considered unremarkable due to its lack of resources.

August 2156: Settlement of New Taiyuan on Shanxi is founded near the Alliance Outpost, leading to some trading between the residents and the personnel stationed there.

September 2156: Mining colony founded on the dwarf planet Dowager Queen in the Da Ling San System's asteroid belt. Colony is named Dowager Keep.Task Force Ursa opens a Primary Relay in Zeus Beta, arriving in the Petra Nebula. Colony of New Kilkenny is founded near a tributary of the Jin De River (New Taiyuan and the Alliance Outpost being located at the river's delta).

October 2156: Construction of a hydroelectric dam begins near the New Kilkenny colony. During negotiations between the leaders of New Kilkenny, New Taiyuan and General Williams about access to power from the dam, the leader of New Kilkenny punches the leader of New Taiyuan and calls her "a no-good bureaucratic imbecile".

November 2156: The Garden World Baikonur is discovered, notable in its dextro amino acid life.

December 2156: Task Force Libra opens a Primary Relay in Zeus Beta, arriving in the Ghost Nebula. Colony New Dawn is founded on Shanxi, though much smaller than either New Kilkenny or New Taiyuan, with only a few hundred residents.

April 2157: Task Force Sagittarius plans to open a Primary Relay in the Xingyun Cluster. A Hierarchy Light Cruiser also plans to perform a routine inspection of Relay 314 at the same time.

This is a striped down version of the timeline I created as I expanded the lore of Alliance space. I had to choose between leaving an odd timeline that gives seemingly random information while not speaking of other things, expanding the timeline to insane proportions every time I create something new, or stripping it down to only the essentials.
