Inside an old forgotten building out on the edge of town, the interior decorated like a horrific cult worshipping the tales of fear and pain caused by Freddy Fazbear, a group of thirteen individuals are all seated at a long table together. Twelve were currently present, each wearing different masks symbolizing the original Fazbear animatronics as well as Springtrap, Scraptrap, Burntrap and also Vanny as a Bonnie head. They then heard footsteps approaching from a darkened hallway, all eyes turning towards the sound. The thirteenth member, their leader, approached wearing a clean mask of the original Golden Bonnie and carried a staff decorated with bits of various old Fazbear robots and endoskeletons. A globe sat atop the cane with Glitchtrap's horrifying face painted on it.

Sad news, my brothers and sisters. Our glorious leader, William Afton, will NOT be attending our banquet of victory. He, along with our founder Glitchtrap…have both fallen.

The others gasped, eyes horrified by the mere words.

"W-What the bloody hell?! How did Afton fall?!" the Foxy Mask asked.

"What of Vanny?! Don't tell me SHE met the same fate?!" Springtrap Mask continued. Bonnie Mask growled, clenching fists, while the leader continued.

T'was the actions of the ungrateful child Afton himself CHOSE to bear his soul onto! He, that bastard security guard and the "friendly" animatronics killed them both! As for Vanny, she was the BITCH security guard who allied with the boy! Vanny BETRAYED us as well!

Vanny Mask gasped before everyone turned towards her.

"And you DARE to bear that mask in OUR presence?!" Burntrap Mask shouted, grabbing Vanny Mask by the neck of their shirt. But Foxy Mask intervened and broke his grip.

"Do you think any of us could forsee THIS?! Leave her alone, ya fool!" he shouted. Burntrap Mask growled before slugging Foxy Mask's face and knocked him to the ground.

"Don't speak to your SUPERIOR in such a manner, whelp!" he exclaimed. The leader raised and slammed his cane hard on the ground, silencing the room.

Brothers! Do not waste your energy clammoring between each other! It is up to US to finish…what our master began. Therefore, let us see…just what…or who "Gregory" is…for denying our lord's gift.

FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S
GREGORY AND THE 13 GHOULS OF GLITCHTRAP

Night 1 - Part 1: Night of Fresh Horrors

~ PRESENT DAY ~

A good seven years have passed following the silencing of William Afton and Glitchtrap inside the Pizzaplex. Over time, the establishment was able to rebuild trust and admiration from the public thanks to the voice of a certain child, Gregory, the one who survived the night of frights. He is now thirteen years old and living with his stepmother, Vanessa, and the "head" of his friendly animatronic buddy, Freddy. At the moment, on a sunny day in autumn, the teenage Gregory is in the family garage that had become his own secret workshop. He had been using the latent ability of communicating with machinery and developed a great interest in repairing the animatronics he befriended at the Pizzaplex along with creating his own. The techs at the establishment even say that he is truly a one of a kind person, being able to easily return to the Pizzaplex after the night he was forced to endure. But the other animatronics thank him and Vanessa for all they've done for them. At the work table, Freddy's head sat opposite of Gregory wearing a pair of goggles over his eyes.

"What are you working on this time, Gregory?" he asked. Gregory glimpsed his way before returning to his electronic.

"It's something I was thinking could be great for grandparents or anyone else in need of a little "assistance". Take a look." he said. He showed him a small bust of Freddy's head, minus his top hat, before booping the nose. It comically honked before a compartment below opened and out stretched a long pole. With just the press of a button, it had become a cane with the handle being Freddy's head.

"What do you think, Freddy? Its an Insta-Cane. I've just been trying to see if I could find a way to stabilize it before letting others use it." Gregory boasted while his friend laughed.

"You really are taking more after Henry every day I watch you work. And I have to say…its a great concept and certainly is "good looking"." Freddy chuckled, remarking how good his likeness was captured. Gregory lightly shook his head.

"Since when did you, the Pizzaplex's mascot and Mr. All Around Nice Guy, become a narcassist?" he asked while picking his head up.

"It's my way of showing my appreciation of using my likeness for your invention. I meant no narcassism." Freddy replied. The two smirked at one another.

"That's the Freddy I know." the boy said. Just then, there came a knock at the side door before in walked Vanessa in a red sweater and khaki colored pants. She caught a glimpse of the Insta-Cane on his table.

"I should've known this is where you'd be, kiddo. I never can seem to get over how DEAD SILENT the house feels when you are in "Gizmo Mode". I take Freddy liked it?" she asked, hands on her hips. He quickly retracted the cane before taking it and Freddy's head in the house with him.

"Yeah. But…maybe keep an eye on him. He might be developing an "ego" whenever I design anything after him." Gregory teased, Freddy looking flustered as a result. Vanessa laughed before taking Freddy in her arms.

"Now THAT would be something I never imagine when I was working as a night guard. You always were so humble, Fredbear." she also teased.

"Please…I only meant what I said as a joke, Vanessa. Gregory understood me." the animatronic replied. Both started to laugh.

"Relax, Freddy. I got it. We've been a family for how long now?" she asked. The animatronic lightly grinned, a look of embarrassment on his face. She handed Freddy back to Gregory before going for her jacket.

"Anyway, you ready to head over to the Pizzaplex, kiddo? I heard the CEO wanted to talk to you about something and he wants us to be there in person." she asked. Gregory lightly gasped.

"You mean…Mr. Willson?" he asked.

~ At the Pizzaplex ~

Upon arriving at the Pizzaplex's front doors, they were greeted by several of the Staff Bots Vanessa had named before they noticed Monty waiting nearby. He leaned against the wall with his shades tinted and "cool posing" while he was at it. He smirked before glancing Gregory's way. Freddy's head rested in the boy's arms.

"Yo! Hey there, Superstar! Knew you'd be comin'!" he proudfully boasted. Gregory looked confused as Vanessa shook her head with a sigh, putting a hand to her waist.

"Monty…what are you doing?" she asked "Did Roxy give you lessons on how to look like a total dork?" Monty cleared his throat before standing straight up and adjusted his shades.

"Sorry about that. Been thinking about changing my look a little. Y'know, like…being the "cool laid back" member of the Fredbear Crew." he said "Anyway, I take it the Superstar is here for Mr. Willson? He's over by the main stage in the Atrium." The two nodded before heading on inside. In no time, they made their way to the stage arena and found Mr. Willson waiting nearby at one of the tables as other guests were enjoying the facilities or eating together at the other tables.

"Hi." Gregory remarked. Vanessa lightly waved.

"Hey, boss. What was it you wanted to talk about?" she asked. The two sat at the table while Gregory set Freddy's head nearby.

"Sorry to call you two in on your day off, Vanessa. But I thought this was something that couldn't wait. And it has to do with our "Superstar", Gregory." he said, shifitng eyes to him,

"And what's that?" the teen asked. Mr. Willson smiled before sliding over a paper to them, Vanessa picking it up to read. She looked it over before letting out a surprising gasp.

"W-Wait! Mr. Willson…are you for REAL?!" she asked "You're offering Gregory scholarship for college?!" Gregory's eyes widened, Freddy doing the same.

"Of course, Vanessa. We owe so much to you and Gregory for defending and improving the image of the Pizzaplex. This is out of my own pocket and its something he can look forward to when the time comes." he said "I've been talking with the other board heads about offering these to others that have given nothing but their best." Gregory looked at the paper in Vanessa's hands, reading his name.

"Uhh…not to sound out of the loop, but what's this about? And what does it have to do with me going to college?" he asked. Freddy forcefully turned his head towards him.

"It means, Gregory, that when you become old enough to attend, Mr. Willson will cover the costs necessary for you. College can be quite an expensive endeavor, but if you graduate, you could have a better life ahead of you." he explained "In fact, they offer all kind of classes including those that could help you improve on robotics construction and other electronics." Gregory, although not as surprised as Vanessa, gasped before looking to Mr. Willson.

"T-Thank you…so much, sir." he said. Willson chuckled.

"Don't worry about it. And, Vanessa, you don't have to worry about repaying me. You already did so much for me that this is the least I could do in return. I want to make sure the old "menace orphan" has a bright future ahead of him." he said, hinting to Gregory. He lightly groaned and slapped his hand over his face, Freddy and Vanessa snickering.

"Can you please NOT use my old nickname? I feel embarrassed by it enough." he said. Just then, a round of applause could be heard nearby, turning to see Roxy, Monty, Chica, Bonnie and Helpy clapping for Gregory. Seeing them brought a smile back to his face, cheeks blushing slightly.

~ Later That Day | Early Evening ~

The remainder of the day saw Gregory and Vanessa running other errands on their own, Freddy's head being carried in his backpack still. It was about when the sun nearly set that they were finished, driving back to their house.

"I still can't believe it, Gregory. My boss offering my son a scholarship? Heh. We're pretty lucky, aren't we?" she teased, briefly glancing at the mirror. Gregory shrugged, his backpack rested next to him.

"I may not be "ready" for college, but yeah. It's nice to know Mr. Willson has our back. He's been one of the best guys I ever met in my life…my present family excused." he said before noting her and Freddy. Vanessa merely chuckled.

"Are you going to consider gifting Mr. Willson something in return?" Freddy asked.

"Yeah. Don't worry, Freddy. Anyway, I think we deserve a night out. How about it, Gregory? It's kind of late for me to cook anything, but I'll treat you to that mexican place you wanted to try." she said while stopping at a red light, giving her time to look back.

"Oh, heck yeah! Thanks, mom!" he exclaimed. Once the light changed, the car continued down the road. Gregory and Vanessa soon arrived at Taco Papolooza, a new mexican restaurant that had opened up a week ago. Like El Chips' part of the Pizzaplex, they had their own on sight mascot as well. Perched on the reception counters as well as a large cutout in the dining room's corner was a cartoonish possum wearing a mexican hat and held a burrito in one of its paws and a pair of maracas in the other. We rejoin the family as they were just about finished with their food, having ordered one of the local specialties known as the "Chubby-cabra Festival". It was meant as a family meal named after the mythologic chupacabra and even came with a doll of their possum mascot. Vanessa was just about finished as Gregory heard his stomach bubbling.

"Ooh boy. Not good." he thought. He glanced to Freddy sitting in his opened backpack on the floor, hinting him to get Vanessa's attention. But instead, Freddy simply told her the words he didn't want heard aloud.

"Vanessa? I do believe Gregory needs to use the bathroom. Might he be excused?" he asked blatantly. Gregory gasped.

"FREDDY!" he growled, teeth clenched. Vanessa chuckled.

"Go ahead, Greggy. Just remember to wash your hands before you go." she said. Given the OK, he scooped up his bag and scurried off. He passed through the bathroom door quickly before hurrying to a stall. In his rush, he dropped Freddy in the corner of the stall as he sat down.

"Phew. I guess the stuff is spicier than I thought. And I was doing GREAT with some of the more seasoned meals Chips makes." he thought, imagining his smiling face. He glared towards Freddy with a hint of annoyance, the bear looking confused.

"What? You wanted me to get your mother's attention. Didn't you?" he asked.

"NOT OUT LOUD, bolt brains! What if somebody else heard you and started snickering at us?! Even I have jerks at school that love teasing me!" the teen replied "Ugh. And I thought the patch I made would've made you more socially aware." When he was finished, he slipped his bag on before going to the sink and washing his hands. Just then, he heard something knocking from the other stall. He turned and saw a hand peeking out the door.

"Uh, excuse me! But this stall's outta paper. Think you can lend a fellow bro a hand and toss me some?" a voice on the other side asked. Gregory, taken aback by the weird slang he used, thought for a moment before deciding to help by taking out the roll of paper from the other and passed it to him through the door.

"Uhh…here you go, "bro"?" he replied. But instead of taking the toilet paper, the hand quickly latched tightly to Gregory's wrist and pulled him in as hard as it could. He slammed against the stall door before flopping to the ground, the impact was enough to knock him out.

~ Local Park | Nightfall ~

By the time Gregory came to, the night sky had blanketed the entire sky and he was still groggy from the blow he took. He had been moved to the city park in the meanwhile. While trying to move, he saw that both his hands had been knotted together behind one of the many spotlights.

"W-What the?!" he yelled "How'd I get tied up?!" He looked to see a man looking through his backpack, having tossed out Freddy's animatronic head with his face covered by a hood. Freddy's eyes noticed Gregory coming to and gasped.

"Gregory! Are you okay?!" the bear called.

"Freddy?!" Gregory shouted back "What's happening? Who is this creep?!" The hooded man laughed, stopping his pilfer before turning back towards Gregory. He effortlessly kicked aside his backpack and began to approach.

"That's not a nice thing to say to your "bathroom bro", now is it?" the man asked. Gregory groaned.

"I could the same about you KNOCKING ME OUT and TYING ME UP LIKE A HOSTAGE!" he yelled back. The man laughed as he reached for and pulled back his hood. To both of their surprise, the man was the Foxy Mask individual. His eyes gleaned a bright green shine as he snickered, flashing his sharp teeth.

"You do have a point there…GREGORY." he replied, Gregory gasping again.

"H-How do you know my name?" he asked. Foxy Mask cackled while he pulled down the sleeve of his coat, revealing a mechanical hand attached around his wrist. There were taints of bloodstains on the connector and dried blood going down from it.

"Did he…CHOP OFF his own hand?!" the boy thought, freaked out by the darkened marks. Foxy Mask noticed before chuckling, retracting his hand to become a hook similar to Foxy's hook.

"I can tell somebody is interested in the "upgrade" I was gifted…by my lord and savior." he said "Before I found purpose, I was just a jobless geezer that nobody would bat an eye at. But now…I have a REASON to live." Gregory gulped as Foxy Mask slowly rubbed the back of his hook against his throat. He then grabbed Gregory with other hand, revealed to also be mechanical and with the same blood marks, letting the teen see the sheer look of insanity in his pupils.

"A-And what's that?" the boy asked fearfully. Foxy Mask released him before trading out his hook for another hand but with razor shark hook swords extending from the knuckles. Freddy and Gregory both gasped at the sight of it, his reflection gleaming off the blades. Foxy Mask proudly raised his hand.

"It's so that you, lil' boy, DIE BY MY HAND! THIS IS WHAT YOU DID TO OUR LORD! PAYBACK FOR THE LIFE YOU TOOK!" he roared, readying to attack "And we WON'T stop until you're SACRIFICED!" Before lunging, somebody tapped his shoulder from behind. Foxy Mask turned around in time to get a swift kick across the face by an enraged Vanessa.

"DON'T YOU LAY A ROBOTIC FINGER ON MY SON, BASTARD!" she screamed. The assailer crashed on the ground while Vanessa hurried over and hugged Gregory tightly.

"V-Vanes…mom?! How did you..?!" Gregory asked as she untied his hands, small tears dripping down her face.

"Thank the Freddy Radar you made. He sent me a notification on my phone that you needed my help. I hurried over as fast as I could…scared that I might lose you." she explained. With his hands free, she hugged him again as Gregory did likewise.

"Thanks…mommy." he said quietly. Foxy Mask began chuckling, regaining their attention as he rose back up and eyed Vanessa. They stood back up alongside.

"Well, well, well…I have the honors of slitting YOUR throat as well…TRAITOR VANNY." he sneered. Vanessa gasped.

"W-Wait. He knows?! Who is this guy?" she thought. She shook her head.

"I have NO IDEA who you're talking about, child abuser, but I WON'T overlook the fact you tried to skewer my son with those oversized kitchen knives!" she yelled. Foxy Mask snickered in a villainous tone, replacing his other mechanical hand for an electricfied baton. It bore a purple aura while sparks flickered off it. At the same time, his eyes shined a bright electric green color.

"It's only fitting for those…who DENIED OUR LORD'S GIFT! FOR ENDING THE LIFE OF THE GREAT WILLIAM AFTON!" he exclaimed, readying to attack again with a look of insanity.
