Still working on that cold case

I love you
Back at the station.

"OMG, Liss, does Christian do this to you?"
"Do what?"
"Constantly texting you he loves you ?"
"No, but he's also really busy with the restaurant and doesn't have time to text."
"It's driving me nuts, yesterday I turned my phone off and he came home all panicked."
"Rose, he's a new dad, plus what happened to Ivan. He can't help it."
"Lissa he texted from the bathroom yesterday!"
"Oh."
"Yes Oh."
"Why don't you leave Massey here and have a nice diner and talk to him about it."
DIMITRI
"Roza, I'm home."
I had a long day at work and all I wanted to do was hold my baby girl and spend the night with my wife. Our daughter was just shy of being four weeks old. She came into this world a week after my best friend Ivan died. He was a cop and was on duty one night and never made it back home to his family. I was completely broken and it changed everything for me.
I was constantly worried about not making it back home myself. I wanted Rose and our daughter to know that I loved them. So I was constantly texting Rose while I was at work, I always wanted the last thing she heard from me was me telling her "I love you".
I think it was driving her crazy, but I couldn't stop. Ivan and his wife were fighting when he left for work the night he died. She told me she never got to tell him that she loved him one last time.
That broke me.
"Roza, what's all this?"
"Lissa has Massey so we could have dinner by ourselves. We need to talk."
