"Report." The order echoes within the dark chamber deep within the bowels of Konoha. Danzo looks upon the four dark figures kneeling in front of him, their blank masks designating their allegiance to his Root.
"The mission was a success, Lord Danzo, we planted the scroll detailing the Yuki clan's plan to overthrow Kiris rule, operative 352 Codenamed 'Red Snow' made sure to leave a few frozen Kiri Nin to sell the deception. From the intelligence we could gather on our way back Kiri took the bait and the Yuki Clan is no more. Except of course for subject 3204 and 3205 Which is currently in the custody of your medical section." Came the cold emotionless response from the squad leader Codenamed 'Withering Stone'.
"Excellent work. With this Kiri will be occupied with infighting and unable to partake in the budding war. How is the situation with Hanzo in Ame?" Danzo remarked with satisfaction.
"Proceeding as predicted, he is willing to make a deal with you in return for your assistance in wiping out a rebel cell within his lands."
"That presumptuous fool.. Very well, send Team Nightfall to assist him, but their secondary objective will be to assassinate the fool if the opportunity presents itself."
"Hai, Danzo-Sama" Came the obedient Reply.
The sound of heavy impact ring out in the night as Azrael meets The Oni masked Ghoul in a fierce hand to hand match, having to twist his upper body to avoid the tail attempting to skewer him, as he blocks a punch aimed towards his head. Azrael retaliates with a quick jab towards his opponents throat to distract him, giving Azrael time to get behind his opponent with a quick twirl landing a heavy blow on the Ghouls neck with his elbow, momentarily staggering him and letting Azrael follow up with a kick to the back of the Ghouls knee knocking him to the ground.

Azrael skidding to a halt grabs his now bleeding abdomen, feeling a pressure in his lower back Azrael lets out a painful laugh and "pushes" from within, his shirt fluttering as his lower back turns red and pulsing with the telltale sign of RC-Cells. As six segmented Blood Red tentacles, Reminiscent of a spider's legs shoot out from his back, Azrael feels his wounds healing shut, stopping the blood pouring out from him, His senses sharpen, and his Grin widens.

Landing in the midst of the gore and blood soaked alley, Azrael suddenly falls to his knees, an intense pain wracking his insides as he becomes transfixed on the flesh that surrounds him. Before he even realized it he was tearing the corpses apart, devouring the disgusting flesh of his kills. Azrael Finally started to slow down and realized what was happening as he was ripping chunks of a fleshy sac like organ ripped from the remains of the B-Rank ghoul he had ripped into chunks.
Forcing himself to swallow the putrid lump of flesh filling his gullet. Azrael takes a moment to reflect on what happened.
"I guess the release of my kagune and the intense fight combined with the damage I had to heal led to me being left starved.. They really weren't kidding when they said that a ghouls' hunger was maddening.."
With his hunger abated and wounds healed Azrael proceeded to wipe out some more stray ghouls all over the city, with the access to his kagune it was even easier to hunt them than before. The few C-rank ghouls he came across proved to be as much of a challenge as the first Ukaku he slaughtered in the beginning.
"Status." Azrael said after he finished off the latest group of Ghouls.

"It seems I am approaching the end of the quest. That second hidden objective still worries me though.. Well, I will see what it is when it comes I suppose." Azrael comments to himself as he walks along the dark streets, a certain ease now that he is firmly placed within the lower end of A-Rank, only his final opponent left. Even though it is one he could not take lightly, having adapted to his new body giving him far more confidence than he previously possessed.
"Speaking of the end of the quest, You can come out now. I can smell the wretched stench emanating from your foul body." Azrael speaks into the darkness. A slow clapping reverberating in the dark as a figure reveals itself. The newly arrived ghoul has the appearance of a thin, bordering on emancipated middle aged man, a black messy mop of hair on his head, with a mask resembling a muzzle over his mouth.
"You have good senses Intruder-San, But you won't be able to stop me from reuniting with my beloved Tooru-Chan. The Voice told me that if I managed to kill you, Tooru-Chan would be mine forever. Always loving me, always being a part of me!" The ghoul exclaimed with a crazed edge to his voice as he started running towards Azrael. A long mass of hardened RC-Cells shooting out from his back whipping behind the running Ghoul.
Not having the time to use observe on the aggressive man approaching him, Azrael summoned his Kagune, shooting up into the air, but he quickly had to pull his Kagune in front of himself to block the lightning quick stab from the ghoul aiming to decapitate him. Getting thrown back with sparks emanating from where the two Kagune clashed, Azrael uses the momentum to flip in the air, stabbing forward with one of his tentacles in an attempt to sever the older ghouls' Kagune. The older man managed to react in time to pull his Rinkaku back, leading to another shower of sparks as the two tentacles grinded against each other.
Azrael, landing in a crouch, quickly shoots forward intent on stabbing straight through the bothersome ghouls abdomen, hoping to destroy his kakuhou as to disable the use of his Kagune. But Azrael, having to abandon that course of action, uses one of his Kagune tentacles to throw himself to the side to avoid the older man's rinkaku impaling the space he was just occupying.
"Stay still you annoying bug, LET ME KILL YOU!" comes the crazed shout from the older ghoul, his Kagune wildly stabbing the area in a crazed attempt to catch Azrael. Dust and rocks getting thrown up from the crazed ghouls' rampage, Azrael is forced to dodge and jump with seemingly no end unless he wants to get impaled. Until he notices an opening, The dust cloud getting kicked up obscures his vision, letting Azrael slowly close in until he can launch a surprise attack, stabbing forward with his tentacles catching the older ghouls legs and lower back, slashing deep gashes into him and throwing him to the ground several feet away.

Having a moment to breathe and being slightly disturbed by not being able to see his opponents health Azrael uses Observe on the older ghoul that is desperately trying to get up from his position on the destroyed pavement.

"THAT FUCKING HURT!" He roars as his Kagune once more starts whipping around wildly.
'Good, he is losing his composure, I need to capitalize on this before he gathers himself.' Azrael notes. Running towards 'Torso' Azrael flips over a particularly long sweep of the crazed ghouls kagune, bringing all six of his tentacles down in a slam on top of his head that leaves a crater in the pavement.

Using the force of his Kagune slamming down into the ground, Azrael pushes up flipping back from the impact site, landing with four of his tentacles stabbing into the ground, the remaining two already shooting forward impaling 'Torso' in the back, drawing a guttural scream from him.

Closing in on the downed form of the ghoul, Azrael uses one of his remaining tentacles to end his suffering, piercing straight through the back of his head, killing him instantly.

AN: Well, there we have it, the end of the dungeon and Azrael's fight against Torso. I was debating who to have as a boss of this dungeon, but I settled on Torso since he was a kinda minor character that got reduced to an errand boy for Aogiri at the end. that along with his mental instability made it a difficult battle, more from the sheer chaos rather than a straight up strong opponent.
And I had some free time since class got canceled today so I could get two chapters out back to back basically.
Next time we will progress the story a bit more with Azrael leaving water country and heading towards the mainland. What happens there, well, you will just have to wait and see.
