Aoi and Masao were like two peas in a pod they were practically inseparable as the days flew on they would spend most of their time at school and hanging out at their houses

They would even have sleepovers with each other...Aoi would always listen to the scary stories Masao told with an unreadable expression on her face

Masao would pass out at Aoi's stories since they were too scary for him to handle they would be seen together to and from school

Aoi and Masao were now 14 years old, Aoi was up in her bedroom putting on her middle school uniform looking at her reflection in the mirror

"5 years to go before the story truly starts" Aoi said in a whisper Glacier nodded as he hid in her blazer pocket "it's still awhile before that happens don't worry" Glacier said comfortingly

"Middle school...again" Aoi said with a sigh as she walked out of her bedroom and went downstairs to have some breakfast where Naoto and Nami were

"good morning Aoi ready for your first day of middle school" Naoto said with a grin on his face "as ready as I'll ever be" Aoi said biting into a piece of toast

A knock on the door sounded "you can come in" Naoto said as Aoi bit into her toast Masao came in to pick up Aoi for school

"Am I interrupting" Masao asked as he walked into the dining room/kitchen "course not you can come in whenever you like your here to pick up Aoi to walk to school together right" Nami said

Masao nodded "oh to be young again" Nami sighed dreamily making Aoi sweatdrop "don't exaggerate your still plenty young Nami" Naoto said with a sigh

Aoi finished her breakfast and got up grabbing her bag slinging it over her shoulder "are you coming or not" Aoi said as Masao caught up to her

"Can you believe that were in our first year of middle school it seems so surreal" Masao said looking at Aoi who for some reason was wearing a boys uniform

"Hm? When did you start wearing that?" Masao asked curiously "since I noticed that creeps started to look at other places than my face" Aoi said glancing over at a nearby shrub with students hiding

"What is it?" Masao asked looking at the shrub as well Aoi narrowed her eyes 'those boys are hiding behind it aren't they' Glacier spoke telepathically

Aoi had acquired the ability to see through any object as she wished having gotten tons of Affection pts from Masao "what's wrong?" Masao asked

'It's still surprising I got this many pts from him when I hang out with him everyday' Aoi spoke telepathically as she looked at Masao

"Nothing is wrong...thought I saw something" Aoi said walking away "Hey wait up" Masao said following after her quickly not realizing a figure was watching them from a tree branch

"Aaaah I'll finally have you all to myself...but not now the time is not right" ??? Said as he disappeared from atop the tree when Aoi looked over

'Strange I thought I saw someone watching me' Aoi thought to herself "Aoi" Masao brought Aoi out of her thoughts "what was that?" Aoi asked

"Nothing don't worry about it...let's make a good effort this year" Masao said reaching out his fist Aoi looked at it and did a fist bump with him

"Let's go don't wanna be late on our first day" Aoi said as she jogged on ahead "huh! Hey no fair you caught me off guard!" Masao said as he chased after her

Aoi had one of the biggest smiles on her face since forever she always had fun with Masao and he always knew how to cheer her up

Aoi arrived at the school gate and waits for Masao as he pants tiredly "took you long enough slow poke" Aoi said with a hidden smile on her face

"Well can you blame me...my endurance isn't as good as yo..." Masao was cut off by something soft on his lips making his eyes widen at the feeling of her lips on his
