'Hmm, Vin Jin hasn't answered, neither has Johan, not sure if Johan even has a phone to be honest, at least I know Vin Jin's number because he made it public.' Suhyeon thought to himself as he was currently training against the Copy Cloud of Hajun, as he wanted to make sure that all of his abilities would be on their highest tier before anything like the card festival came to him.
Stats can be trained too, so he had been putting the work there, but what he really wanted was to go to Seoul, and see. Suhyeon really wanted to see how strong he could be if he trained with Gun.
Would he immediately go into the territory of X, or perhaps even maybe even further beyond, and transcend? If there's someone who's capable of making someone else transcend without the system's usage, it would be the nurture genius that is Gun. After all, he managed to make Olly and little Daniel into the fighters they are.
But in better news, the Viral Hit gang were open for the collaboration, which he had requested it to happen in Seoul, because he also wanted to sight see while things were still relatively calm here.
And maybe Suhyeon can even bother Vin Jin while he's there and get him into my crew before he joins allied. After all, _he can resurrect people_. And Vin Jin has lost quite a lot of people in his life. By that merit, he could maybe even get Eli Jang on my side if by bringing back the mother of his child.
"Let's stop here, Copy Cloud." Suhyeon told the cloud, which had yet to get any consciousness, at least not yet, as he decided to take a breather and think some more on the future business.
The NewTube channel has been making more money, which he had been using to pay any kind of expenses that his… gang might require, which is why he wants to expand it, so that he doesn't have to dirty his hands in any kind… And there's also the healing he has been selling online, although for most of the cases… well, he has been going around with the 'Bagman Kim' mask, fighter and healer, so that he wouldn't connect his existence to .
'Hmm, actually, fuck it, let's just heal Johan's mom.' Sure, he wouldn't be able to use it to get Johan into the crew, but now that he thought about it, Johan would probably just beat the living shit out of him by trying that. And Johan is scarier than Vin Jin.
Suhyeon was thinking to himself when his shoulder hit someone by accident.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention." Suhyeon said as he looked at the girl… and he had absolutely no idea what in the actual fuck he was looking at.
Pyeon Kim
He knows who Pyeon Kim, he had admittedly used Choice Points to get her before coming here, and was frankly confused when he hadn't met seen her running around beforehand, as he thought she would come up instantly in the same way the NewTube channel and the elixir had… But the part that made Suhyeon perplexed was simply the part where for whatever reason… She had the same looks as Yoo Mira.
"Here, let me help you." Suhyeon said as he gave her his hand to lift herself from, which she did, cautiously so. Well, Suhyeon actually loves Yoo Mira, so Pyeon Kim looking like her is actually pretty great, all things considered.
"You're… a swordswoman, aren't you?" Suhyeon asked as he could feel the calluses on her hands, they were different from his own or Hajun's.
"You can tell." It wasn't a question, it was a statement of fact.
"I'm pretty strong myself, you know, not that it matters much, but I am considered the top dog from West Gangbuk." He told her as she raised an eyebrow.
"So you can't say that you're the top dog of the whole Gangbuk?" Suhyeon shook his head.
"Not really, Jaehan Han is faster than me and is the top dog of East Gangbuk, Seok is stronger and more resilient than me while being the top dog of South Gangbuk, and the Top Dog of North…" Suhyeon paused as he wasn't completely sure how he wanted to phrase it, but after thinking, he shrugged.
"That bastard's off the charts, still loses to Johan, God Dog, or whatever he's going for these days." Suhyeon told her after noticing that she was walking alongside him to talk some more.
"What about you?" Suhyeon asked her.
"I'm not much of a fighter." She said, shaking her head as he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.
"I wouldn't say that." Suhyeon quipped as he chuckled as she stared at him bewildered, not believing him.
"How so?" She asked.
"Your legs are more defined than your arms, that means you're either kicking people around like Taekwondo, or you have a faster style of swordsmanship that requires a better footwork, which requires at the very least, an above average stamina to keep at it, you're not that muscular when it comes to your arms, so you use leverage, torque or perhaps simply strike your opponent's weak or their vital points when duking it out." Suhyeon analized the cute girl, looking her up and down as she blushed, affected by 'Peek at You'.
"Am I right or am I right?" Suhyeon asked as she couldn't look him in the eye, feeling completely analyzed.
"How did you know that?" She asked as Suhyeon chuckled.
"Well, I have pretty good eyes." The delinquent answered before getting hit in the face by the practice sword she was carrying around.
"You're right though, but… you're probably connected to _him, aren't you?" She asked before being surprised that her sword didn't have any kind of effect on Suhyeon, his defense was simply much bigger than her offense.
"What are you doing?" Suhyeon asked, almost unbelieving that she would strike him. "Connected to who?" Was she referring to Goo? Did she think this was some kind of ambush on her because of her cousin? That's wack.
"How did yo- It's useless to ask, right?" She suddenly asked, which made him simply more confused.
"Look, girl… Wow, I can't believe I forgot to ask your name," Suhyeon paused before shaking his head. "I can see that you have potential, so why don't you join my gang? We can treat you pretty well, and you can even be a high ranked member… And that's totally because we don't have many members to begin with." I told her as she looked conflicted for a moment.
"I'm not going to affiliate myself with any kind of criminal gangs, so if you're hoping I can make dirty money, then just forget it." She stated, declaring as an ultimatum of sorts.
"…Well, actually I pay them with my NewTube channel's earnings, so we don't really commit any kind of crimes, we just go around beating other people at best." Suhyeon told her sheepishly as she blushed in embarassment.
"Oh, if that's the case, then let's hope it keeps that way." She said, nodding to herself, and Suhyeon shook her hand as the system informed him that he had got a reward for recruiting her… He had gotten a quest about her? Damn. He didn't even notice.
He would claim the card later.
Created with Sketch.
Suhyeon was sitting on his couch as his cloud copy was currently streaming, using his stats to make sure that he would play at his behest, while his silence could simply be explained as 'Suhyeon was focusing so much on the game, he couldn't afford to talk with us'… Who would've guessed that the copycat talent that he had would facilitate non-fighting purposes? He did, that's why he has a high intelligence. Because for whatever reason, all these people never use their talents in the big world for plot reasons, he supposed.
Not that he minded, the less the others thought about it, the easier it would be to make his channel grow, which means more money, which means more revenue for his gang's purpose, which means he would be able to afford much better conditions for everyone.
"Claim Card." Suhyeon was admittedly surprised that he would get an Diamond card over recruiting Pyeon, but he wouldn't complain, especially when it was something just so unbelievably useful.
He assumed that a card this bullshit had to be because of her relation with Goo, and the rest of Lookism, it was the only explanation for it. Not that he minded, oh no, in fact, it was great.
Waiting for the cloud to finish it's stream, he sent a message to Cloud as he walked away, as today was the day he would stream alongside Viral Hit, and he would see that cutie Gaeul.
So, being too young to drive, he simply took a cab to Gangnam, which is where the Viral Hit was apparently residing at. Suhyeon didn't talk much with the guy behind the wheel as he was trying to figure out the best way to connect with them, but he couldn't figure out a way that didn't felt fake, so he simply decided to be himself and hope for the best.
Meet me at the school_. Was the message Suhyeon had received from Hobin, with it, linked a location on google maps, to which he simply ran there, not seeing much reason to not hurry his pace, but seeing that Hobin wasn't in front of the school, and the fact that it was open, Suhyeon simply had decided to explore the school as he was walking around it.
"DANGNABBIT!" He heard a girl scream as the loud clanger of furniture fell to the ground, which immediately raised a few red flags. Especially the fact that it sounded too much like a certain incident in Viral Hit.
Walking towards the door, he could tell that they were picking on Ga Eul, because that's what the Comedy Crew did the last time around. That's when Snapper opened the door.
"Are you the ones bullying Eul?" He asked before trying to fight them, easily being subdued as he wasn't a fighter, Suhyeon grinned, he really wanted to punch someone today.
"Are you okay, Snapper?" Suhyeon asked as he entered the place as the members of the Comedy Crew didn't really recognize him at all.
"H-Huh?" He asked as he got up, looking at the newcomer in confusion.
"Dude, it's me, Suhyeon, I sent an email for a collab video?" Suhyeon asked Snapper as he scratched his head in confusion, as the leader of the crew tried to punch him as he wasn't paying attention.
That's when Hobin had picked the sucker punch that was aimed at Suhyeon.
"Oh, thanks for that, Hobin." Suhyeon said as he picked the first guy, and immediately slammed his face into the chalkboard, a crack being heard from that.
"I don't like bullies, and I certainly don't like you." Suhyeon said as he kicked the hooded one into la-la-land before using Jabs to knock the other two, as they were just… so weak.
"Are you guys okay?" Suhyeon asked as he used his power to subtly heal them as they nodded.
"Thank you, I wasn't expecting it to be actually you, you know, Snapper even told me to sound super cryptic because of it." …What?
"Why though? Do I not look like the type who would be into this kind of thing?" The three of Hobin's crew simply looked at the defeated Comedy Crew and back at him.
"Well, you certainly don't have the look." Hobin concluded as Suhyeon almost felt dismayed.
"If you say so… What did we have planned for today's collab? I had some ideas, but I wanted to listen anything you guys might want to do." Suhyeon said as they exchanged ideas.
"Why don't we do a Mukbang? They're all the rage." Snapper said as Suhyeon raised an eyebrow.
"Are you sure? Wouldn't that just make people confused on what kind of content you do? Shouldn't you try to achieve a theme before trying to branch on?" Suhyeon asked, trying to make sure they really wanted to.
"He's right, Hobin going a thousand places before rooting himself ain't the greatest idea." Ga Eul said as Suhyeon shrugged.
"Why don't we spar? We could go to the beach where falling to the ground wouldn't cause as much issues." Suhyeon suggested as the three of them blanched at him.
"Are you sure you don't want to beat my ass?" Hobin asked as Suhyeon laughed it off.
"Sorry, I just don't know if any of you are good at games to challenge in a game." Suhyeon scratched the back of his head as they simply decided to record a video of them dining together, with Ga Eul edited to be blurry as she didn't want to be recognized, with them getting a bigger boost on subscribers.
"You should learn some martial arts, not to say that you're a bad fighter, but you don't have an arsenal to speak of." Suhyeon ended up commenting on that as he looked between the three.
"What about you? We saw you fighting, you looked like you do boxing?" Snapper asked back as he was eating kimchi.
"Oh, not really, I have a really good kinetic vision, so I can copy any kind of move performed in front of me, it's admittedly kind of why I'm so good with games, since I can just see how they play and re-do it all… Granted, you have to understand where to use it, but I'm able to do so." Suhyeon commented as he scratched his chin, a subtle gesture at his talent would be easy to cultivate if he wanted to be recognized, instead of simply jumping at Gun and Goo, he could try and simply sell himself by being just that much better.
"So, have you planned your next video?" Suhyeon asked them as they looked between each other, before shaking their heads.
"Well, then learn How to Fight against Multiple Opponents," Suhyeon paused as he saw their expectant reactions.
"You saw what happened earlier with those morons I fought, and well, I don't want to sound mean, but there's a huge difference between the two of us, and well, you never know when you're put into the same kind of situation." Suhyeon continued.
"Maybe you're right, I probably would've had to do it anyways if you hadn't appeared, so it might be good to start training now." Hobin said as Suhyeon extended his hand to Hobin.
"If you want, I could come back and help you, and if I can't come here personally, I can send one of my guys to help you out." Suhyeon said.
"Oi… Why did you have to say that way? One of your guys? You sound super suspicious right now, you know that right? Almost like a gangster." Snapper waved his hand in front of his mouth as he yapped while Suhyeon shrugged.
It was true, after all.
