In the main town of Gravesfield, the Hexside Squad had arrived and they stood in front of a 'magic shop'.
"First stop, the Magic Circle." Amity said before they entered.
While Willow, Gus and Skara were looking around, Amity, Vee and Boscha stood at the counter and the pink-haired Witch showed the scroll map to the shopkeeper in hopes that she'd know what it meant. The shopkeeper then looked up at something that made her narrow her eyes.
"Hey!" The shopkeeper yelled, causing Amity, Vee and Boscha to quickly follow her gaze.
Willow, Gus and Skara were playing around with some of the shopping items as the Plant Witch girl poked someone with a Devil's trident prop and Skara jumpscared Gus with a skeleton mask. The Hexside Squad quickly ran out of the Magic Circle as the shopkeeper angrily shook her fist at them, only for Willow to hand over a snail coin to pay for the Devil's trident. The group walked through the park as Willow and Gus stopped to look at a pair of statues of Gravesfield's legendary Witch Hunter brothers, Caleb and Phillip Wittebane. The two of them felt a familiar feeling about the Philip statue and looked at each other, not knowing what to say about it. Soon, the Hexside Squad arrived at the library as Willow showed the librarian the scroll map and she took a closer look. On the other side, Amity stood at some file drawers as she touched them and bowed to them, believing they were alive like the lockers from her school. When they didn't do anything, Amity held out a piece of candy to the drawers before a little girl approached them and simply opened one up, making Amity yelp in shock. This gained the attention of everyone else in the library and Amity blushed in embarrassment before tripping down when attempting to flee, causing Skara and Boscha to quickly drag her away. After leaving the library, the Hexside were now at the zoo and they nervously looked at each other before bravely linking their arms and entering the giraffes exhibit. The Witches stood in front of one of the monstrous beasts that once roamed their world and Gus bowed at it before showing the scroll map to the giraffe.
"Here's hoping it won't eat our souls." Boscha whispered timidly.
But instead of doing just that, the giraffe simply stared ahead with a very dull expression. Gus looked at the others and they simply shrugged at the fact the giraffes weren't the deadly beasts they believed them to be before they began walking away, but Willow decided to quickly take a picture. However, this proved to be a big mistake as the flash from the camera startled the giraffe and it screeched at the Hexside Squad with its horrific monster face, causing them to scream in terror. After escaping, the Hexside Squad sat down at a table as Gus brought them some nachos to eat.
"I'm definitely having some nightmares tonight." Skara whimpered while shivering fearfully.
"I don't blame our ancestors for banishing those guys. Yeesh." Gus added, still a bit spooked before he and the others noticed a father, his two sons and daughter nearby.
"Dad, can we go to the bird hall?" One of the boys asked while his brother slept on their father's shoulders.
"Haha, in a minute. How about we eat first?" The father suggested.
"Yeah!" The children cheered as Amity, Willow, Gus, Skara and Boscha became a bit depressed from watching, missing their own families back at the Boiling Isles.
Vee noticed how depressed her friends were looking and she let out a sigh of defeat and closed her eyes, knowing she had to go to the one place she feared in the Human Realm.
"I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but…I think I know where to go next." Vee said in a scared and reluctant tone.

The Hexside Squad soon appeared at the Gravesfield Historical Society as it sported a large paper over the sign that said 'under new management' and they all walked up to it, except for Vee as she hesitantly stayed where she stood with a worried expression. Willow and Skara noticed this and approached their Basilisk friend.
"You can wait here if it's too scary, Vee. Luz told us about that creepy witch hunter wannabe." Willow said.
"If he even tries to kidnap you, I'll punch him in the jaw and kick him in the lower parts." Skara assured with a firm look.
"It's okay. We've faced down Decepticons, zombie Cybertronians, mercenaries, Predacons and an evil robotic god living in the center of Earth." Vee assured confidently. "I can do this!"
Without a second thought, Vee kicked through the entrance with a determined yell and prepared to face Jacob…only to see Masha sitting at the entrance table and became surprised.
"Masha? You're not Jacob." Vee said as the others entered behind her.
"We can all thank goddess for that. He was reported missing after that whole 'meteor shower' incident that happened a few days ago." Masha replied. "My gut tells me he got flattened by one of those giant rocks."
"That would be a good thing." Boscha said in agreement.
"I work part time here now. Say, it's been a long time since we've seen each other." Masha told Vee, who slightly blushed in response. "Where's that awesome race car you ride around in?"
"Uh…I had to give it away to somebody who needed it way more than I did." Vee replied while grinning nervously.
"Cool. I hope they're treating it well." Masha said with a smile. "So, you here for a tour around the place?"
"We're actually here to ask about this old puzzle." Amity answered as she showed the old scroll map to Masha. "Do you know how to decode it?"
"Ooh, a rebus." Masha said interestingly, taking the scroll for a closer look. "They dug up a bunch of these in old Gravesfield."
"I doubt any of them were Cybertronian." Skara whispered jokingly.
"This is a rebus?" Gus asked confusingly, thinking it was only a simple scroll.
"Yeah! It's like a riddle where pictures and symbols make up a word. Like, come here." Masha said, pointing to a H symbol on the rebus. "What do you think they were trying to say?"
"Chop off an ear!" Gus stated while pulling on his hat, focused on the ear symbol next to it.
"No. See the H that comes first?" Masha asked. "Then combine that with the ear and maybe it means 'hear', like, to listen. Or 'here' as in a place. Maybe something is waiting somewhere?"
"As in something that can make portals to other worlds?" Boscha questioned hopefully.
Before Masha could reply, a phone started ringing in the staff room and she knew she needed to take the call.
"I'll be right back." Masha said before entering the staff room, leaving the Hexside Squad to look at the symbol themselves.
"If this is a portal door, then what about these?" Amity questioned, looking at the bottom symbols. "A ribbon and…tanning a hide?"
"Maybe something with a clean pride likes to wear ribbons?" Skara guesses.
"I don't think so. That ribbon is tied together." Willow said while pointing at said symbol.
"Next to that hand with a cut." Gus added.
"You don't think…" Willow started to say.
"This is leading us to…" Gus said.
"Tie tan's…blood?" Amity asked while reading the symbol carefully.
"Wait a minute! That translates to-" Boscha started.
"Titan's blood!" Amity, Willow, Gus and Skara finished in surprise.
"It's like you're reading each other's minds!" Vee told the four of them, holding her head in shock. "You must have been friends forever!"
Hearing this made Amity, Willow, Gus and Skara look away from each other in awkwardness, while Boscha simply stared at them with a bit of remorse in her look.
"It wasn't always like this." Amity admitted.
"Some of it was kinda the other way around." Skara added.
"These past few months have been weird and insane, especially with everything we went through after meeting the Autobots." Willow said with a small smile before she pulled out a scrapbook and showed many photos of her, her friends and the Autobots doing lots of fun things together. "But look at all the new memories we have now."
Amity took the scrapbook from the Plant Witch girl and flipped to a page of her and Luz having many romantic moments with each other before she then found a single photo of the entire Hexside Squad grouped together.
"It's been nice to finally spend some time together." Willow commented as she then turned to Boscha. "Even with the one person I used to despise the most."
Boscha was surprised by what she said and gave a slight smile back to her.
"The feeling's kinda mutual." The triclops Witch replied.
"Yeah." Amity agreed, hugging the scrapbook to her chest. "I can't wait to show everyone at home."
"Maybe the scrapbook could use one more?" Vee suggested as Willow handed her camera and they all huddled together.
"Aw, come here, Vee!" Willow said happily, placing her arm around the Basilisk girl.
"Everyone say 'giraffes are still terrifying'!" Gus stated.
"And pizza is the best human food!" Skara added before Vee took a picture with all of them laughing, while Boscha only giggled a little bit by herself.
But when Vee took a look at the photo, she noticed a large map of Gravesfield in its old days behind them and gasped surprisingly, turning around and rushing to the picture while taking the rebus from Amity.
"Hey, that map of Old Gravesfield looks exactly like this." Vee said, showing how similar the markings on the rebus where to the map. "Do you think it's a map to a stains of Titan's Blood?"
"Probably." Boscha replied.
"With that, we could actually create a portal." Willow remarked.
"Guess we didn't need to wait for Smokey and the other Bots, after all." Skara admitted with a smile.
"I can't wait to tell Luz!" Amity stated excitedly, pulling out the pamphlet for the Haunted Hayride from her pocket and showing it to the others. "And I know just how to surprise her."

At her mother's vet clinic, Luz was seen sitting at a table in the waiting room with Stringbean laying next to her for company. The Hispanic girl drew some animal sketches on her notebook while hearing some dogs and cats in the distance.
"Alright, Stringbean, see if you can shift into any of these animals here." Luz told her Palisman, showing her the animal sketches.
Stringbean hissed in response and she started shapeshifting into the form of a bird, a spider, an octopus, a stag beetle and a platypus before she finally returned to her original form. Luz simply laughed at the shapeshifting stunts her Palisman did.
"You sure can make a boring day at the vet a good one, Beans." Luz commented kindly. "Really wish Eda and King could see you now."
Stringbean could see Luz becoming a bit depressed after mentioning her two closest friends from the Boiling Isles and she snuggled against the Hispanic girl's cheek, causing her to smile from her Palisman's comfort. Camila then entered the room in her usual veterinarian outfit.
"How are you two doing in here?" Camila asked.
"Just fine, Mama." Luz replied.
"Good. I'm ready to lock up." Camila said before she walked away.
Luz sat up from the table and opened her backpack up to signal Stringbean to fly inside it, which is what her Palisman instantly did. The Hispanic girl then placed her notebook away and was about to follow her mother to the exit, until she felt her phone vibrating in her pocket and she quickly answered it.
"Hello?" Luz asked.
"Hey, kid. Hope this isn't a bad time." Fowler's voice said from the other side of the call.
"Fowler? I wasn't expecting a call from you at this time." Luz admitted to the special agent.
"Well, I thought I'd let you know that I'm on my way to your town right now with a big surprise." Fowler replied.
"You are? That sounds pretty good." Luz said with a smile. "What's his big surprise of yours?"
"You're gonna have to wait 'till tonight. I don't wanna exactly spoil the whole thing." Fowler told her.
"Okay then, I'll see you at Halloween night." Luz said before she hung up and walked to where her mother was waiting.
(Linebreak)
Fowler heard the call ending on his phone and placed it back in his jacket's pocket before looking ahead to see that he and the Autobots were stuck in a large traffic jam on the road, making him sigh.
"Should've taken the alternate route back there." Fowler said annoyingly.
"If I wasn't in vehicle mode, I'd be stomping through every one of these stinkin' human drivers!" Ironhide stated in frustration.
"Not a good idea, Ironhide." Bumblebee replied.
"We can't risk being exposed to so many humans at once." Elita instructed.
"Then I guess it's a good thing Grimlock and his Dino gang are taking a stroll through that woods over there." Jazz said, gesturing his side mirror to a big woods on the left side of the road. "People would really get attracted by a bunch of prehistoric bots."
"I can still hear you in here, Jazz!" Grimlock called on the communicator.
"Yeah, just keep your opinions about us to yourself!" Swoop added in offence.
"My bad." Jazz muttered awkwardly.
"At least we have the easy part of moving freely up here." Jetfire quipped as he and Dreadwing flew above the roadway in the sky.
"How many more miles do we have to drive to get to Gravesfield?" Arcee asked.
"Not far now. We just have to drive past the upcoming roundabout on the roadway to the left and Gravesfield will be just ahead." Ratchet informed. "At best, we'll arrive by the very next day."
"Sounds nice. The sooner we get to spooky town, the sooner we can tell the kids about what Optimus saw in his visions." Wheeljack said.
"Well, there's really no rush in getting to this little human town." Knock Out proclaimed. "This so-called threat you're all talking about probably won't show up for a long time."
"You might not care about those kids, but they mean a lot to us!" Bulkhead retorted firmly.
"Just keep your mouth shut and stay on course, Knock Out. We can always ditch you for the Cons to later pick up." Smokescreen threatened.
"Okay, okay! I'm keeping shut!" Knock Out replied timidly.
The traffic started moving again and the Autobots immediately drove along with it.
"Looks like we're back on track." Cliffjumper said.
"I just hope we'll get to Gravesfield in time." Arcee admitted in worridness.
"We will, Arcee. Our young friends will be safe once we arrive." Optimus reassured.
"What if the Cons followed you all the way back here?" Fowler asked.
"Then we will be prepared for them." Ultra Magnus said.

Meanwhile, Hunter was in the basement and anxiously tapping his foot on the floor while sitting on the couch next to Flapjack.
"I can't believe one of them's still here. I thought they were all gone!" Hunter stated in a panic. "Bee and the other Bots aren't even here, so how are we gonna fight against this Decepticon?!"
Flapjack tweeted loudly at the blonde Witch boy and this made him calm down, sighing calmly.
"Sorry I lost my cool. I'm just worried that the war could still be happening." Hunter said before he heard Camila's park outside and he picked up Flapjack, putting him in a cage for safety. "Don't worry, Flap. If the Cons are still on Earth, me and the others will keep you safe from them."
Hunter then walked away to exit the basement as Flapjack kept chirping at him, almost as if he knew something else was going on with the Cybertronian he saw in the forest. Outside, Luz and Camila exited the car and went towards the house, where Hunter opened the front door to step out. Camila placed a kind hand on Hunter's shoulder when she passed him and Stringbean followed the Hispanic woman into the house, while Luz stopped in front of her blonde Witch friend when she noticed his concerned look.
"Hunter, what's wrong?" Luz asked.
"I think I saw…a Decepticon." Hunter said grimly, making Luz gasp in shock and worridness.
(Linebreak)
Later, Luz and Hunter were making their way through the forest as the blonde Witch boy was holding a rake.
"Are you saw a Con in the forest? I thought we defeated most of them on the Nemesis and the Autobots imprisoned the rest?" Luz recalled, wanting to be absolutely sure about Hunter's claim.
"Yeah, I'm sure. It was as big as a Cybertronian and made the right metal noises." Hunter replied.
"Well, it's gonna be a bit tough to beat this one without any of the Autobots by our side." Luz admitted. "We could wait for the others if you-"
"No! We both have to take care of this Con ourselves. I just…have a familiar feeling about this one." Hunter interrupted as he felt nervous on the inside. "Uh! Titan, I hate this! I was never nervous inside as the Golden Guard."
Luz noticed a pair of masks the gang that were blown next to them by the wind and they resembled Hooty and King respectively. The Noceda girl picked up the owl mask and placed it on her face.
"Then how about we bring back some of that masked confidence, huh?" Luz suggested, making a spooky noise with her mask and Hunter smiled in response.
After he put on the King mask, Hunter and Luz kept making their way through the forest cautiously while being very cautious about their surroundings. Just then, the two of them heard some movement from their far left side and they immediately turned to where it came from, charging straight through some bushes with their Glyph deck and rake held up respectively as Luz made sure to keep a spare Energon shard in her pocket.
"Alright, Decepti-creep, what's about to happen should be relatively painless, if you just do what we say." Hunter called firmly.
"That's right! So come out with your hands behind your ugly, metal head!" Luz ordered. "We don't care if you're Starscream, Shockwave or even Knock Out!"
Luz and Hunter searched the area as they stopped forward a bit and then they saw a large shadowy figure move quickly ahead of them. The two teens rushed ahead to chase the large figure and they moved behind some bushes and trees for any sign of their target, but they found no Decepticon at all. But then, the sound of a twig snapping made Luz and Hunter gasp in fright as they saw it came from the front of an open pathway, prompting them them to go down it to see if the Decepticon that Hunter saw was there. When they reached the pathway's end, Luz and Hunter then saw a nearby bush rustling very roughly and they stared intently at it, thinking the Decepticon could be behind it before the two of them slowly moved to the bush with their weapons ready. Once they got close enough, Luz reached her hand towards the bush and moved away some parts of it, revealing that behind it was a small white rabbit and it hopped right past Luz and Hunter as they were slightly surprised by this.
"Oh, thank goodness." Luz said, sighing in relief. "It's just one of Mother Nature's children."
"No one's out here. I guess it was just in my head." Hunter admitted softly as Luz removed her mask.
"Well, can't blame you for so attached to past events. I've been wishing every day for the Autobots to come back." Luz replied with a small smile.
"Yeah, I miss them as well. You know, I just wanna make sure everyone's safe." Hunter said, looking away a bit.
"Same. And that includes you, too." Luz commented, playfully punching him in the arm in a soft way.
"What?" Hunter asked in a slightly surprised tone.
"Yeah. Gonna make sure you're safe too, Hunter. You're family now." Luz said. "Bumblebee did and felt the exact same way."
"Oh." Hunter muttered in embarrassment, looking away with a light chuckle.
But soon, his chuckles turned into soft sobs as he started letting out tears of joy into his mask, making Luz look at him in concern and put him in for a shoulder hug. Hunter eventually removed his mask to show his teary face.
"Ah, this mask is pretty gross now." Hunter admitted as they both shared a short laugh and then began walking back to the Noceda residence.
"Let's get back before anyone worries." Luz said.
"Yeah. Everything's okay." Hunter replied, more calmer now. "There's no more Decepticons on Earth. We don't need to worry about anything else, now."
But as the two teens left the forest, they didn't notice a large figure with glowing light-blue eyes showed up from behind some trees and watched them leave in a very scary way.

Later, Luz and Hunter arrived back at the Noceda residence and they entered the living room, which was where the others were.
"Hey, we're back! Hehe. And we bought some, uh, cars." Hunter lied incorrectly, causing Luz to lightly nudge him.
"Human vehicles aren't as awesome as an Autobot." Boscha replied in a non-interested way as she and the others were going through some Halloween materials.
"Luz! We're designing our costumes for the Haunted Hayride!" Amity stated in excitement, although Vee had decided to stay at the house.
"Guess what I've got planned?" Gus asked Hunter before he put on a makeshift headset from Cosmic Frontier. "I'm gonna be Captain Avery and you're…"
The illusionist Witch boy handed Hunter a toy box device in his palm and Hunter gasped joyfully at it.
"Chief Engineer O'Bailey?" Hunter asked, taking the toy device and squealing in happiness.
"And that's not all." Gus added as he turned his attention to Skara. "For you, Skara, I've decided to have you be…"
Gus then held up a green Cosmic Frontier costume and a pair of toy technological shades, making Skara gain a very excited look.
"No way! Lieutenant Garcia, Captain Avery's most popular love interest?!" Skara asked joyfully before bringing Gus in for a big hug, making him blush. "Thanks so much, Gus!"
"Heh. Anytime." Gus replied with a nervous grin.
"I totally ship 'em." Luz whispered, smirking mischievously.
Camila quickly drank her tea in a worried way when she saw the Cosmic Frontier items the Witches were using for their costumes.
"How do you know about Cosmic Frontier?" Camila asked in a very nervous tone.
"From the books in your basement." Hunter answered.
"Oh, haha! Funny how things just show up in basements, right? Without you hiding or putting them there." Camila said, grinning in a strange way before letting out a nervous laugh. "Life sure is full of surprises!"
The others simply stared at the Hispanic woman suspiciously from how she started acting.
"Cool! Humans freak out just like us." Gus said with a smile.
"It'll be fun. We wanna experience your weird human traditions." Willow said before putting a pair of fake fangs in her mouth. "Mwah-ha-ha-ha-ha."
"I'm just doing this to keep myself from being bored." Boscha proclaimed simply.
"And I thought you and I could take inspiration from…" Amity started saying before she turned on the TV, showing a movie of her and Luz's favourite witch fiction show. "Good Witch Azura the Movie 2: The Betrayanning!"
The movie started to play as it showed Azura shielding her love interest, Hecate, from a magical blast.
"Hecate, I'll protect you!" Azura vowed as she fired a magic beam at their enemy, who deflected it.
"Give her over , Azura! It's for your own good." The female villain said with a smirk.
"Never!" Azura said defiantly.
"I could be the Hecate to your Azura." Amity told her girlfriend, approaching her with a hand-drawn picture of them dressed as their respective characters. "What do you think?"
"Oh, wow. Yeah, let's do it!" Luz stated as they both shared a hug, while the Hispanic girl continued watching the movie.
"Why do you keep trying, Azura? After all the pain and mistakes you've caused for the ones who care about you, you're still so pitifully heroic and fine." The female villain said with a grin.
"It's because I've met some great warriors from another world who helped me realise that the mistakes of my past don't matter, Villainous Lucy! It is what I choose to do now by still doing the right thing!" Azura retorted firmly, making Luz gain a soft look as this same scene reminded her of how her fateful meeting with the Autobots helped her out.

In the nighttime sky, the Decepticon spaceship was flying above the clouds and Starscream was currently addressing all the other Decepticons on their current mission.
"So, we're going after the Autobots' magic pets?" Breakdown asked.
"I would've thought we'd be going straight after those Auto-jerks after what their yellow scout did to Lord Megatron." Wildrider said.
"We will make him pay for previously attempting to end our master's life, but don't any of you think it would be better to make the Autobots suffer more by destroying their little friends?" Starscream asked, smiling in a sinister way.
"Scream's got a good point, for once." Dropkick admitted with a chuckle.
"We'll flatten all of those little organics before the Autobots can show up to save them." Skywarp sneered.
"We're gonna wanna get information about how to get into their Boiling Isles world, first." Thundercracker replied.
"I just wish we still had Soundwave with us." Wildrider said with a frown. "We never found out what became of him after the battle on the Nemesis."
"The Autobots most likely terminated him and shot his body into the vastness of space." Shatter theorised.
"That doesn't matter. Soundwave was always silently annoying." Sharpshot scoffed.
"We can finish the job without him. Him. Him." Kickback added with a sick laugh.
"And Lord Megatron? Do we go through with this mission without him?" Skywarp questioned.
"Unfortunately, Shockwave hasn't given me an update on his current condition." Starscream shrugged casually. "It may be a long time before our master ever becomes fully functional again."
"Still, he wouldn't like it if we charged into a battle without his leadership." Shatter proclaimed.
"It's not like he's gonna show up to take command this very moment, Shatter." Breakdown retorted.
Just then, the door beside the Decepticons opened up and Shockwave walked out of it.
"I apologise for my late arrival to this briefing, but I have new information on our master's condition." Shockwave said.
"And how is he right now, Shockwave?" Starscream asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Is he hooked up to a bunch of life support cables?" Sharpshot questioned.
"Not at all. Our master has now become fully active, but his altered body by Unicron's left me with little choice but to make a few modifications." Shockwave answered before he gestured to the dark end of the corridor he walked out of.
The Decepticons turned their attention to the darkened corridor as they began hearing some footsteps and a pair of purple eyes shined out before the familiar figure of Megatron stepped out, now looking much more different than before. While he still had his signature face with sharp teeth, his helmet piece was now purple with some curved horns that made it look like a crown, his arm cannon was coloured bright-orange and a bit more thinner, the rest of his gladiator armor was now a bright-purple colour and he has a pair of futuristic tank rail tracks on the backsides of his bottom legs.
"Master? Is that…really you?" Breakdown asked as he and the others were very shocked by their leader's new look.
"You're looking even more scarier than before." Dropkick complemented.
"How does this new body feel?" Thundercracker questioned.
"It feels…powerful." Megatron replied deviously, clenching his left hand firmly. "Not only is Dark Energon coursing through me, but this new form is a true upgrade compared to my previous weaker one."
"We're truly glad that you're back with us, master." Starscream said humbly. "Now we can exact revenge on the Autobots by targeting their Witch friends at their current positions."
"Yes. I still have a score to settle with Prime and his followers, and Unicron shall not stop me this time." Megatron declared, stepping forward. "Decepticons, prepare yourselves for when we arrive. Soon, we shall show this pitiful planet and the Autobots that the Decepticons are not finished yet."
"Understood, Lord Megatron." Shatter said with a nod.
"No. Do not call me Megatron anymore." Megatron replied while scowling, much to his minions' surprise. "That was a name I used in a more inferior body. But with this new appearance I have been given, I shall now be reborn with a new name."
"The point you make is quite logical, my liege." Shockwave agreed.
"And what exactly would your new name?" Starscream asked in curiosity. "Something close to your previous one?"
"As a matter of fact, Starscream, yes." The Decepticon leader replied before his eyes illuminated purple energy. "From now on, I am…Galvatron."

Back at the Noceda residence, Luz was once again laying in her bed and staring up at the ceiling as she was unable to sleep. The Hispanic girl turned to Amity sleeping on the other side on the floor and smiled at her before she thought back to the day she unintentionally got herself into a road chase alongside Arcee, met the rest of the Autobots the day after and had many fun or life-threatening adventures with them afterwards. With all of their support, Luz was able to recover from her gloomy emotional self-doubting self, but she felt a bit lost now that the Autobots were back on Cybertron. Deciding she needed to get a few things off her chest with herself, Luz got out of bed and got her nearby laptop before going downstairs and into the kitchen with it. She sat down at a table and opened up her laptop, which showed an image of her and Amity happily in the background before Luz activated the camera's live camera.
"Dear diary, the past few months I've had were very crazy and lots of fun at the same time. At the beginning, I felt like all my mistakes in the Boiling Isles for just wanting to learn magic and no longer be an outcast made me feel like a terrible person. Especially after I got my friends stuck here." Luz said with a slight frown before blighting up a bit. "But after I got the chance to meet Optimus Prime and his Autobot team, I started feeling better inside. Optimus and Arcee told me that mistakes aren't something that deems you as bad, but they're used to help us improve and be better than before. I've had so much great times with the Autobots and I owe a lot to them."
After she began thinking of how the Autobots departed to Cybertron to rebuild it, Luz started to become a bit depressed as she truly did miss them.
"But now that they're gone, I'm starting to feel lost again. I don't know what to do without Optimus, Arcee or any of them." Luz admitted before letting out a sigh. "And now…I don't know which of the people I care about I want to stay with. It's a decision I'm gonna have to make on my own."

The next day as the sun began to set, Halloween night had begun and all the young residents of Gravesfield were out in their costumes and trick-or-treating their way through every street. The main attraction as at the Haunted Hayride in the middle of town, where Camila drove her car into and parked in the middle of the festival before Luz and her friends stepped out in their Halloween costumes. Luz was dressed as Azura, Amity was dressed as Hecate, Willow was dressed as a bat creature with horns and a tail, Gus was dressed as Captain Avery, Hunter was dressed as Chief Engineer O'Bailey, Skara was dressed as Lieutenant Garcia and Boscha was dressed as pirate captain with a black pirate's hat covering her third eye. Luz turned to her mother as she was still in the driver's seat.
"Make sure to help Vee with the trick-or-treaters. You know they can be…demanding." Luz said, shivering from the thought of all those greedy kids.
"Luz, are you okay?" Camila asked as she noticed the tired expression on her daughter's face. "You don't look so well."
"I just had a lot of things on my mind last knight, I couldn't sleep." Luz replied assuringly as she turned to her friends gathering with each other, while Amity secretly looked back at her.
"Alright, we'll keep the puzzle a secret until the time is right." Amity whispered to the others. "And then, we'll tell her about the Titan Blood!"
"Oh, I'm loving this plan!" Skara said excitedly as she and her friends smiled.
But then, Hunter began to hear some strange and familiar laughter in the distance and turned to an eerie distant path into the forest, seeing nothing there.
"Did you hear that?" Hunter asked Flapjack worriedly as his Palisman stood on his shoulder and shook his head in response. "Hey, it's okay. It's probably just in my head again. Nestle down, Flapjack."
The red bird Palisman chirped before he shifted into his still form and Hunter placed him inside his costume. But when he turned away, the same light-blue eyes from before appeared in the forest's darkness and watched Hunter as Luz approached her friends and Amity placed her hands on her shoulders.
"We're gonna have the best night, and we might even have a surprise for you." Amity said in excitement.
"Is it a reunion with our old Autobot buddies?" Luz asked jokingly.
"As great as that would be, not really. You'll just have to wait." Amity replied.
"Enough talk, nerds. Let's get this weird human tradition started!" Boscha stated, prompting the Hexside Squad to walk towards the main festival.
They all strolled through the many attraction booths, shop shacks and many more spooky activity sights. Eventually, the Hexside Squad came up to an outside theatre play of Gravesfield's old times during the witchcraft era in front of an old building.
"I hath seen the Mrs Smith consorting with spirits unpure!" The prosecutor announced while pointing at the woman in a cage, accused of witchcraft.
"Is this true, Mrs Smith?" The judge questioned.
"Nay, tis a fool lie! Inquisitor Jones is tarring me a demon's valet so as to take mine fields!" Mrs Smith protested while gripping the cage bars.
"Demon lies!" Jones retorted with a glare.
"This is what humans did years ago? Accuse themselves of being Witches like us?" Boscha asked, unimpressed. "They're even dumber than I thought."
"I'm right here." Luz replied, frowning offensively.
"Your honour, I do object!" Gus stated, rushing onto the set to get himself involved. "It is Inquisitor Jones who's in league with the dark forces!"
"Kid, come on. This is my spotlight." Jones said in annoyance, only to be ignored.
"Behold!" Gus said to the audience before he generated a spell circle with his finger and teared away Jones' pants to reveal that his legs were that of a demon's, along with a devil tail.
Jones was freaked out by his demon legs and ran away screaming in terror, causing the audience to cheer for Gus while Mrs Smith gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Oh, she did not just do that." Skara whispered while glaring at the caged woman, feeling a tinge of jealousy.
"Are you jealous right now, Skara?" Amity asked with a sly smile.
"Uh, no! Why in Titan's name would I be jealous of Gus looking like a Halloween star?" Skara questioned in denial.
"I mean about his 'other reward'." Amity told her.
"It's not like that. We're never gonna be like you and Luz, end of story." Skara declared with her arms crossed.
"They'll hit it off one day." Willow whispered, causing her friends to snicker in response.
After the theatre play was finished, the Hexside Squad arrived at the true Haunted Hayride attraction and they got onto the wagon with Masha waiting for them on it, dressed as a witch. Luz held onto Amity's hand as they all took their seats.
"I hope you're all prepared for a truly scary ride." Masha told the Hexside Squad.
"Make us cry! Make us cry!" Willow and Gus chanted.
"I've been on school field trips that were more horrifying. Just try to scare me." Boscha said with a cocky smile.
"Oh, I will. Because there's nothing scarier than knowledge." Masha whispered in a very spooky way.
"Boo! Just lie to me!" Gus called out disappointingly.
"This is a let down!" Skara added before the tractor carrying the wagon started to drive.
"Let me tell you the eeriest unsolved mystery of Gravesfield. The tale of the Brothers Wittebane." Masha announced eerily, making he group gain very unsettling looks as that last name was quite familiar to most of them.
"Wittebane? Isn't that Belos?" Amity asked in a quiet tone.
"Still couldn't believe he was a psycho human the whole time." Boscha whispered.
A bright light appeared on the right side of the ride and the Hexside Squas turned to see a wooden display of two flat cardboard puppet figures that resembled a pair of young men travelling through ancient Gravesfield.
"The year is 1613. Two orphaned brothers arrive in Gravesfield. Their names? Philip…" Masha explained as Luz and Hunter had a flashback about the genocidal madman that was Philip Wittebane, AKA Belos. "And Caleb."
"Oh no." Hunter muttered worriedly as Luz had the same expression, while the two boys she met in school before were controlling the whole show.
"Caleb did his best to take care of his younger brother. They tried to fit in with this town, and it's unsavoury practices. They became witch hunters." Masha continued as cardboard pitchfork and torches were shown in a red light. "Local lore suggests that the Brothers Wittebane met a real witch from another world. Her name was Evelyn."
The Hexside Squad got a look at a wooden picture of the Witch the supernatural girl was talking about from above.
"And the older brother was spirited away. She dazzled him with magic and visions of a strange yet beautiful place. They used a secret code to travel between worlds." Masha said, with more cardboard props displaying the whole story to the Hexside Squad. "Philip set off to save his brother and bring the witch to justice. But neither were ever seen again! Maybe Philip saved Caleb, and they went on to lead peaceful lives. Or maybe he's still chasing his brother, caught in a cycle of horror and strife!"
Luz and all her friends gasped frightfully once they heard this as Boscha began to slightly sweat a tiny bit from this spooky tale.
"Okay, we all get it." Boscha mumbled as Masha placed her flashlight away.
"Sounds like big bro got a hot witch girlfriend and little bro got upset." Masha quipped as they all arrived back where they started. "But, that's just me."
As Luz and Hunter got down from the wagon, Amity, Willow, Gus, Skara and Boscha exchanged looks of concern as they wondered what truly happened with Caleb and Evelyn after Philip/Belos pursued them.
"A story about two brotherly people wanting to just do some good and one of them ends up turning really evil." Willow commented while rubbing her arm.
"That definitely sounds familiar." Amity added, remembering how Optimus and Megatron used to be close brother figures before they ended up becoming sworn enemies in the war for Cybertron.
Just then, Hunter heard the same unsettling laughter from before and he turned to the forest entrance to see a pair of light blue eyes coming from a very large figure and they were all too familiar to him, making the blonde Witch boy become stunned in fear. Once the glowing eyes were gone, Hunter quickly turned to Luz and grabbed her by the arm.
"Luz!" Hunter whispered as he urgently dragged her to the other side of the wagon, startling the Hispanic girl.
"What's going on?" Luz questioned.
"It's him." Hunter replied in a panicked state.
"Wait, you mean…Belos?" Luz asked, her eyes widening in total shock. "Not a Decepticon?"
"Yeah, he's here! I-I saw him instead of any Cybertronian, this time." Hunter proclaimed worriedly. "It wasn't in my head after all. You believe me, right?"
"Well, how can you be sure? What would he be doing here?" Luz questioned as Hunter began to rub his chin in thought.
"…Titan Blood." Hunter realised, causing Luz to look at him with a suspicious look as the blonde Witch boy realised he slipped out the secret surprise he and the others planned. "I'm not supposed to tell you. But the secret code that guide mentioned? It's a puzzle, a rebus we found in the shack. Amity thinks it leads to Titan Blood!"
"Titan Blood? Puzzles? Amity? Why didn't anyone say anything?" Luz asked, a bit hurt by her own friends keeping this info a secret from her.
"You and your mom do so much for us. We wanted to something for you, and she's gonna surprise you with it tonight." Hunter replied, taking off his fake headgear.
"That is so…sweet." Luz said while cringing and sweating nervously as she has been hiding a big secret from her friends, too.
Luz and Hunter peeked out from behind the tractor to see their friends moving along, until Amity noticed their absence.
"Hey, where are Luz and Hunter?" Amity asked.
"No idea." Boscha shrugged.
"We need to find the Titan Blood first. Just to make sure." Luz said quietly. "I don't wanna freak anyone out yet, wether it's Belos or a Con."
"You don't believe me yet, do you? Fine. I'll prove he's here." Hunter replied with a frown before he opened up his costume a bit. "Flapjack."
His red one-eyed bird Palisman flew out of his costume to face him.
"Can you get the rebus?" Hunter asked, causing Flapjack to give a reluctant look. "Come on, do it for me so we can get the Titan Blood and stop Belos from using it for whatever he wants. Pretty please?"
Knowing he couldn't resist his owner's pleading face, Flapjack let out a tweet of defeat and he flew over to Amity before carefully grabbing the rebus scroll from her pocket and flying back to Luz and Hunter.
"Good work." Hunter said, taking the rebus and allowing his Palisman to fly back into his costume.
Seeing the others too distracted with looking for them, Luz and Hunter ran straight into the forest to find the Titan Blood and hopefully keep it out of Belos' hands.

Meanwhile at the entrance to Gravesfield, the Autobots had finally arrived in their vehicle mode and they parked in front of the town's stone entrance as Fowler stepped out of Optimus' driver seat.
"Well, this is it. The spooky Connecticut town site of Gravesfield." Fowler said. "And on Halloween, of all days. You Bots sure picked some time to visit it."
"We're here to warn the kids about Optimus' vision, Fowler." Bulkhead reminded. "We don't have time for sightseeing."
"We've gotta find out where they are right now. They could be anywhere in the town." Bumblebee said.
"It's a good thing we have eyes in the sky, then." Arcee replied.
"Jetfire, Dreadwing, do either of you have a visual of Luz and her friends?" Optimus asked on his com-link.
"We're seeing plenty of humans on the surface, Optimus, but none of them are our Witch allies." Jetfire informed as he and Dreadwing flew circles around the town. "It could take some time."
"We don't have a lot of time, Jetfire." Elita replied. "We must locate the children before this grave threat makes itself known to them."
"Kinda hard to do that since they're in such a big crowd." Knock Out muttered to himself.
As the two flyers kept looking, Dreadwing managed to spot some movement coming from within the Gravesfield forest and he was able to see past the tree gaps that it was Luz and Hunter.
"I've managed to spot Luz and Hunter!" Dreadwing stated. "They're currently moving through the area's forest at a quick pace!"
"Why would Luz and Hunter be rushing through a bunch of trees?" Wheeljack questioned.
"No clue, but we've gotta catch up to them and find the others." Cliffjumper said.
"I'll go to Camila at her place. She's gonna wanna know about all this, too." Fowler told the Autobots.
"Very well, Agent Fowler. We will make our way towards Luz and Hunter's position." Optimus replied. "Camila may know where the rest currently are, so be sure to have her go to them first. We need everyone united to face this threat."
"Not that it'll matter when I'm through with this so-called threat." Grimlock proclaimed, growling lowly.
"I'm on it, Prime. Just make sure you all get to the two kids in the forest in time." Fowler instructed before he rushed ahead to where he knew the Noceda residence was.
"Is this the part where we start rolling out?" Jazz asked.
"You bet your slaggin' processor it is." Ironhide replied with a chuckle.
"I think it's best if we can around the other way." Snarl said, referring to himself and tan Dinobots.
"Good thinking, Snarl. We'll meet up with the rest of you in that forest." Grimlock stated before he and his team rushed away to the other side of Gravesfield.
"Autobots, let us move forward!" Optimus announced, prompting him and his teammates to drive straight into Gravesfield in order to make it to the forest and intercept their friends.

At the Noceda residence, Camila switched off the TV as Vee had fallen asleep on the couch and picked up Luz's laptop nearby while Stringbean was currently fast asleep upstairs. When she started walking, Camila accidentally tripped on a bat and nearly fell over, but managed to steady herself and sighed in relief as the laptop ended up flipping up and turned on.
"So, we moved." A younger Luz said on a recording with a slightly unhappy look, causing Camila to watch it. "Mom says it's because the house isn't 'pretty enough', but I think it's because there's a better hospital for dad nearby. 'Cause…let's be honest, this house ain't that much prettier."
Camila sat down at on the couch to watch a few more recordings and the next one started to play, showing Luz in a very depressed state of being.
"I think this might be the worst week ever." Luz said to the recording sadly, causing Camila to also become sad as she knew her daughter was referring to the passing of their husband/father.
As tears began forming in her eyes, young Luz then showed a Good Witch Azura book to the laptop's camera.
"But…dad left me this book. I can't wait to read it." Luz said with a small smile before the video fast forward to show Luz happier than before and her room filled with Good Witch Azura items. "I loved it! I loved it so much! Ahaha!"
On the next video, Luz was shown to now be a middle child and was holding a plastic sword from her favourite fiction series.
"Look what I got at the convention." Luz said, striking a pose with her sword before getting a crazy idea in her head. "I'm gonna cut my hair with it."
After that video, the next one was showing Luz's hair being a chopped-up mess.
"Ugh, that was a bad idea!" Luz cried out in agony, making Camila smile to herself.
In the very next video that takes place a few days before Luz ventured into the Boiling Isles, Luz stood in her most common attire with a few of her items in hand.
"Mom saw my report card. 'Mija, if you just applied yourself'. But I am applying myself! My baseball stitches are so small, they're practically invisible. And I can read and write witch tongue in five different dialects. Also, I can sit so perfectly still that woodland creatures come and sit on me."
The Hispanic girl ran off to get a chair and quickly placed it in front of her desk before sitting completely still in it. A single spider lowered down onto Luz's head.
"But I guess none of this is gonna matter on the SATs. It's been really rough for mom since the funeral." Luz said softly, walking back up to her laptop's recorder. "So, I'm gonna wow my teacher's face off with this book report! Mom, you won't have to worry about me ever again."
Once the video was over, a slightly depressed Camila was about to close the laptop before the final video started playing, which earned her attention.
"I don't know what to do without Optimus, Arcee or any of them. And now…I don't know which of the people I care about I want to stay with." Luz in the present time said with a depressed expression, showing that she truly missed her Autobot friends. "It's a decision I'm gonna have to make on my own. But no matter which one I end up making, I know it'll end up with some sad feelings."
Camila became very concerned when she saw this video as she knew Luz was torn between who she really wants to live with and then gained determined look to show she needed to help her daughter. But then, she heard some loud knocking on the front door and Vee instantly woke up with a frightful gasp when she heard it.
"I'm awake! Is the house on fire?!" Vee asked alarmingly.
"No, Vee, it's probably just another trick-or-treater." Camila replied as she walked up to the door and opened it, seeing that the knocker was Agent Fowler. "Oh, Fowler. I wasn't expecting a special agent to do some trick-or-treating today."
"I ain't exactly here for some candy, Mrs Noceda. I'm here to look for the kids." Fowler replied with a look of concern.
"I'm here, Agent Fowler." Vee said, showing up behind Camila.
"What about Luz and her friends?" Fowler asked.
"They all went to the Haunted Hayride." Camila answered. "Is something wrong?"
"No time to explain. We've gotta catch up to them, right now." Fowler proclaimed urgently, making Camila and Vee share concerned glances.

In the Gravesfield forest, Luz and Hunter were rushing through the tree-infested area as the blonde Witch boy was holding the rebus to follow its directions. Just then, Hunter heard some loud metal footsteps and he looked ahead to see a very large figure with Belos' glowing eyes moving away into the foggy distance.
"There!" Hunter shouted, running straight to where he saw the figure.
"Hunter!" Luz called out as her friend vanished, causing her to quickly chase after him and became lost in the fog. "Hunter!"
After getting no response, Luz groaned to herself while also being lost in thought.
"Think, think! Hunter is following the rebus to the Titan's Blood. But how can we find the blood without him?" Luz questioned, clenching her head. "Come on, you can do this. Why did I have to leave Stringbean back home?"
That was when Luz had an idea appear into her mind and she brought out a Light Glyph from her bag.
"Let's hope this'll work without the usual stuff." Luz said to herself before tapping on the Glyph, making a ball of light emit from it. "Glyphs aren't just powered by Energon. They're powered by the magic of the isles, by the Titan itself! The closer I am to the Titan Blood, the stronger the Glyphs become. Exactly like Energon."
Luz then began walking down the forest pathway and kept emitting balls of light from her many Light Glyphs along the way.

At the Haunted Hayride site, the rest of the Hexside Squad had noticed that Luz and Hunter were missing and they looked around for their two friends.
"Luz? Hunter?" Willow called out as they all regrouped.
"Did you find them?" Amity asked in concern.
"Calm down. They probably just went to buy some more cars." Gus reassured.
"I can't believe you actually bought that." Boscha replied, shaking her head in annoyance.
"Well wherever they are, I'm sure they're completely fine." Skara said.
"Yeah, yeah. You're right. I just-I wanted to show Luz the rebus." Amity admitted as she reached to her pocket, only to find out the rebus wasn't in it. "Huh? Wait, where did it go?"
Just then, the Hexside Squad heard a nearby car parking and they turned to see Camila, Vee, Stringbean and Fowler exiting the vehicle as Willow removed her costume's hood.
"Kids, have you seen Luz?" Camila asked. "And has she, um, said anything weird?"
"She and Hunter just vanished into thin air." Boscha answered with a shrug.
"What're you doing here, Agent Fowler?" Willow asked the special agent.
"Kinda came here to look for you kids, but this ain't the time for you to know the whole story." Fowler replied urgently. "We've gotta Luz and the blonde kid."
"Boom! Find my phone." Vee announced while showing the app on her phone, having located Luz's phone.

After they managed to manoeuvre their way through the town, the Autobots came up to a different entrance into the forest and they all transformed once they saw no one else was nearby.
"Okay, this is where we saw Luz and Hunter running through." Jetfire said.
"Hunter was last seen standing in front of a small island surrounded by a ring of water and Luz was headed to his position." Dreadwing informed.
"I don't know what they're doing in the forest, but we really need to get to them." Arcee declared.
"Took the words right outta my mouth, Cee." Jazz said in agreement.
"You think Grim and his team made it to them, yet?" Bumblebee asked hopefully.
"While that may be unlikely, they should still be moving to Luz's position as we are." Ultra Magnus replied.
"And Fowler should already be with the others by now." Bulkhead added.
"In that case, let's just focus on helping little miss witch and scar-face." Seaspray stated with a determined look.
"And we will, no matter what. Autobots, let's move." Optimus ordered as they then rushed into the forest to look for Luz and Hunter.
"I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this." Ironhide admitted in concern.
"I think we all are, big fella." Knock Out replied. "And it's not just me with all these branches threatening to scratch my finish."

Meanwhile, the Dinobots were currently charging through the forest as Grimlock used his sword to cut down all the trees in his way.
"Grim, maybe you oughta take it easy with the tree chopping. You'll probably end up attracting some attention to us." Swoop told her leader.
"It's the fastest way to get through this stupid forest." Grimlock retorted.
"Well if we get caught by some humans, it's going to be your fault." Slug said quietly before Snarl spotted something on the left.
"Hey! Look over there!" Snarl stated, pointing at what he saw.
The other Dinobots looked to where he pointed and they saw the Mercenaries' old Cybertronian ship in the same place they saw it in before, meaning that the people of Gravesfield still haven't found out about it.
"Seriously? That pile of junk is still here?" Sludge questioned in disbelief.
"These humans are more oblivious than I thought." Grimlock scoffed.
"Say, maybe there's something still inside that ship we can put to good use?" Swoop suggested with a smile.
"You mean like one of those super weapons that Prime and his team discovered on Earth?" Slug asked.
"Exactly." Swoop replied.
"Well, I guess it is worth taking a look inside." Grimlock said simply. "Whatever is in that ship had better be very good."
"I'm sure we'll find some mice treasures that Lockdown has kept for himself." Snarl said.
"You said it, Snarl." Swoop agreed before they all made their way towards Lockdown's ship, hopping to find a very useful item inside.

Luz was still running down the forest pathway, but came to a halt in front of a large circling lake that had a sign saying the water was deep. She looked around and saw Hunter standing alone in front of the lake.
"Hunter?" Luz asked, earning his attention as he turned to the Hispanic girl. "Are you okay? Did you see Belos?"
"I thought I did. I could see his eyes and a large shadow, but…there's nothing." Hunter admitted, showing a slightly concerned look. "Still, the Titan Blood should be just ahead. We should take a look across the lake."
"Good idea." Luz agreed before she brought out an Ice Glyph and placed it on the ground, creating an ice bridge that led to a small island with a stone gate on it.
Luz and Hunter made their way across the bridge and they looked around the island to see a few graves on it, but no sign of the Titan Blood.
"No sign of the blood. We should look around this place for it." Hunter told his Hispanic friend.
"Good idea. All this Belos talk has me on edge." Luz admitted as the two of them began steadying the island for any Titan Blood. "But I hate to ruin Amity's surprise. I really appreciate that everyone wanted to do this. You guys are great friends, just like the Autobots."
"Too true." Hunter replied kindly, not noticing the pair of glowing light blue eyes appear in the distance behind them. "Any sign of the blood yet?"
"Not yet." Luz answered, reaching into her small pouch. "I just have to-"
But then, the two of them started to hear some faint tweeting nearby and Hunter reached into his costume and brought out Flapjack, who was currently shivering in terror about something.
"Flapjack? Why do you look so scared?" Luz asked worriedly.
"I think he's sensing something bad nearby. Or…someone." Hunter replied, his face becoming filled with nervousness.
Just then, a loud metallic thud was felt from behind and Luz and Hunter froze up in fear once they felt it.
"Luz. Hunter." A distorted and very familiar voice said as the two of them quickly turned around to see a Cybertronian figure with glowing blue eyes slowly walking to them, with a pair of horns growing out of his head. "Didn't you use an Ice Glyph to get here? Your magic is working, Luz."
"No…i-it can't be." Hunter stuttered fearfully before he and Luz started to hear their friends, Camila and Hunter calling for them in the distance.
"I really think we-" Luz began to say as she and Hunter attempted to run off, only to bump into something metallic and fell back.
A large Cybertronian hand that was covered in dark-green goo then grabbed the two of the while Flapjack flew back at a safe distance and Luz and Hunter gasped in utter shock as they were lifted to Lockdown's face, only his eyes were light-blue, his face had a slimy trail across it and a pair of horns were growing out the sides of his head. The rest of his body had some green goo marks, too.
"I saw you. Glyphs do work here." 'Lockdown' said with a smirk, mainly to Luz.
"Belos." Hunter whispered with a completely terrified look.
"You…You survived!" Luz gasped in horror.
"I did, and I mostly have your new mechanical companions to thank for it." Belos replied, smiling smugly. "I've been watching all of you interact with those robotic demons for a while now and their bodies have shown to be slightly superior than our own. I only needed a special sort of energy to properly takeover them. Fortunately, I happened to find it in the form of those strange blue crystals."
"You got your hands on Energon?!" Hunter asked in disbelief.
"Of course I did, Hunter. I managed to acquire it from those disgraceful tech-obsessed terrorists after I helped them in using the Glyph Magic." Belos answered.
"You're the one who showed Silas how to use my Glyphs!" Luz realised.
"Sharp as ever, Luz. But once they gave me the means of controlling these living machines, I no longer needed them. Just like I no longer need you." Belos proclaimed before he violently tossed Luz and Hunter onto the ground.
Bringing out Lockdown's hook hand, Belos brought it down to where Luz and Hunter were and they jumped back, causing the hook to pierce into the ground. Luz's hat and wig ended up falling off as Flapjack flew to them.
"Flap, stay close!" Hunter stated, bringing his Palisman onto his shoulder.
After removing his hook, Belos dug his slimy hand into the ground and he pulled out a small vile containing a blue liquid substance that was Titan Blood.
"Ah, there you are." Belos said while smirking in satisfaction.
Luz slammed an Ice Glyph onto the ground and it sprouted an ice piece that knocked the Titan Blood vile out of Belos' hand. The Titan Blood rolled across the ground as Luz then fired a Fire and Plant Glyph at her old enemy, which struck him on the arms and left a few damage marks on them. However, Belos simply shook off the attacks like they were nothing.
"I suppose I was right. These atrocious machine bodies really are durable against your attacks." Belos said mockingly before noticing Hunter standing in his place while shivering in fear. "And look at you, Hunter. Frozen in your place like a terrified lamb in the slaughterhouse. What? Too afraid to face me?"
Just then, the rest of the Hexside Squad, Camila and Fowler arrived from the other side of the lake behind Luz and Hunter and noticed the battle they were in.
"Hey, is that Lockdown?" Skara asked in surprise.
"Something's wrong." Gus replied, narrowing his eyes at 'Lockdown'.
"Yeah. He's looking unusual and different at the same time." Willow added.
"Guess we're too late." Fowler muttered.
"As always, Belos, you're an absolute hypocrite." Luz scowled in anger.
"I'm merely speaking from my thoughts. I mean, a race of gigantic machines that can change into this century's vehicle and claiming they have emotions and life forces like us humans? It's simply sickening and ridiculous. They're just as deserving of death as the Witches. But if you had never interacted with them in the first place, I never would have found a new weapon to use." Belos replied with a smirk. "You see, this is why you're so useful to me, Luz. You're so desperate to help people…you even helped me meet the Collector."
"What?" Amity asked shockingly as she and the others overheard this.
"Helped him meet the Collector?" Boscha repeated.
"I didn't mean to. I thought I was doing something good!" Luz stated sadly as Stringbean quickly floated up to her owner for a comforting nuzzle, while Hunter looked at her sympathetically.
"You did do something good. I was able to find a much better vessel than the lost cause in front me." Belos replied, grinning sinisterly as Hunter flinched from his words. "Because of you and these walking pieces of metal, I can finish my work as a witch hunter. Starting with THEM!"
Belos launched his slimy arm towards the others on the other side and Amity quickly swatted it away with her Witch staff before she, Willow, Gus, Skara and Boscha road on their respective staffs and they all flew around Belos to try confusing him. Belos avoided some incoming attacks from Amity, Gus and Boscha as he tried slaying them with his hook and long slime arm respectively.
"Hey, Belos! Remember me?" Gus asked tauntingly, creating a bunch of illusions of himself.
Belos shouted out angrily as he swatted away the illusions and Willow grabbed his slime arm, while Boscha tossed a pair of yellow potions to Belos' legs and they exploded into some durable foam that trapped him where he stood.
"I might not be a big fan of Lockdown, but even he doesn't deserve to be your puppet!" Vee stated as she jumped onto the ice bridge started draining the Energon inside of Belos' Cybertronian body.
Just as he started to get a bit weakened, Belos growled in annoyance and attempted to attack Vee with his hook.
"Vee, watch out!" Amity called as she quickly pulled the Basilisk girl away on her staff, causing Belos' hook to destroy the ice bridge.
Skara unleashed a sonic whistle that made Belos cover his ears in pain before Belos knocked through some of Gus' illusions and smacked him and the rest of the Hexside Squad away. Stringbean formed into her staff form and Luz acted quickly by shooting a purple magic beam at Belos, who crosses his arms to shield himself and was blasted back by the beam. Although sustaining a good deal of damage with a few pieces of his arm blasted off, Belos instantly regranted from his wounds and narrowed his eyes at Luz.
"I swear, Belos, you're not getting back to the Boiling Isles!" Luz declared, gripping her staff tightly.
"Don't make promises you can't keep." Belos replied before he charged at Luz with his hook.
Luz managed to avoid the incoming attack and she used her staff's energy to block more of Belos' assaults while also dealing some damage to him when he was open. Luz soon managed to look back and noticed Hunter standing where he was in total fear as Flapjack was tweeting at him in concern.
"Hunter, don't stand there! We need you to help us fight!" Luz called out desperately before she was knocked away by Belos' arm.
Amity used her Abomination magic to sprout out some muck from within the lake and it fused with the shattered ice to form a new bridge, which Luz safely landed on. Belos then turned to Hunter and slowly approached him, making Hunter step back a bit in terror.
"What's the matter, 'nephew'? Too scared to face the demons of your past?" Belos asked mockingly.
"I…I-I…" Hunter stuttered, too scared to actually say anything.
Flapjack could sense that his owner was too terrified to face that madman who's haunted him for many days and he flew straight up to Belos in an effort to defend Hunter.
"Flap, wait!" Hunter called as his Palisman started pecking on Belos' horns.
The monstrous witch hunter simply narrowed his eyes annoyingly at the red bird Palisman before he grabbed him in his hand, causing everyone to gasp in shock and worry as Belos smirked from seeing this while holding Flapjack in his grip.
"That's right. You wouldn't want me harming your precious Palisman, would you?" Belos asked, thinking back to the so-called 'evil' witch his former brother figure fell in love with. "Oh, but then again, I don't care what you want. Goodbye, Evelyn."
Belos then aimed his hook directly towards Flapjack and prepared to stab it through him, which made the Hexside Squad, Camila and Fowler very horrified.
"No!" Hunter yelled.
But suddenly, a blaster shot was fired from out of the forest and it hit Belos on the back, making him yell in pain and release Flapjack as he flew back to Hunter, who held him very closely.
"What was that?!" Belos questioned in shock, glaring where the blaster shot came from.
An engine noise was heard within the forest and a familiar yellow and black car drove out, leaping out the lake water and transforming into Bumblebee as he delivered a swift punch to Belos' face. The monstrous witch hunter crashed against the stone gate as Bumblebee stood tall with a glare.
"About time." Fowler said the Hexside Squad and Camila were very shocked to see the yellow Autobot.
"Bee?!" Hunter asked astonishingly.
"Good to see you again, Hunter." Bumblebee said, turning to smile at his old Witch friend.
"You're…really here!" Luz exclaimed, smiling in joy.
"Like I said before, we'd just be a Space Bridge away if you ever needed us." Bumblebee replied.
"Wait, did you say we?" Camila questioned.
That was when Optimus and all the Autobots drove out of the forest and they all transformed, landing onto the island in front of their human/witch allies.
"Cliff!" Amity called out happily.
"Bulkhead!" Willow remarked.
"Jackie!" Gus added in joy.
"You're all here!" Vee stated, smiling happily.
"Of course. Ain't no way we'd come over to save your backs." Jazz replied kindly.
"Especially when you're up against a freaky punk like this." Ironhide added, glaring directly at Belos.
"All of you, stay behind us. We'll take it from here." Arcee told the Hexside Squad, Camila and Fowler.
"Don't need to tell us twice." Boscha replied.
Belos immediately recovered and he looked up to see the Autobots glaring straight at him, making him gain a scowl of hatred.
"So, all of you infernal machines have finally decided to show yourselves to me. Such a perfect coincidence." Belos said.
"And you must be the one known as Belos." Optimus replied with a firm look.
"Man, you're just as ugly in person even when you're looking like Lockdown." Smokescreen quipped.
"What's the matter, horn-head? Too afraid to show your real monster mug?" Wheeljack asked mockingly.
"I've simply found that your metal-filled bodies are more useful when they're in my possession. And not only will I now get to exterminate all those vile witches when I return to their home, I'll get to slay all of you as well." Belos proclaimed, smirking in evilness.
"Stronger beings than you have already tried to best us, and they failed." Elita told him.
"You're just another big bad that'll always end up loosing, no matter what." Bulkhead added, bringing out his wrecking ball.
"Oh, I'm much more than what you machines think." Belos sneered before he charged at the Autobots.
"Autobots, attack!" Optimus ordered, shifting his hand into a blade and clashing it against Belos' hook.
Bulkhead and Wheeljack attempted to attack Belos from both sides and the monstrous witch hunter used his slimy arm to grab Wheeljack and then slam him into Bulkhead, making them both crash down. Optimus punched Belos back while he was distracted and then he swiped his blade across his torso before Bumblebee and Cliffjumper fired multiple shots from their blasters at Belos. Arcee jumped over Optimus and struck Belos multiple times with her wrist blades, while Jazz used his energy grapple to drag him across the ground and right into Smokescreen as he delivered a side kick to Belos. Just as Belos recovered and prepared to use his slimy arm, Knock Out suddenly cut it off with his Buzzsaw and made Belos yell out painfully before Ratchet delivered a blade jab that left a big cut mark on Belos.
"Wait, Knock Out's helping you guys?!" Skara asked in disbelief.
"Yeah! Turns out, he really did wanna join us!" Jazz replied.
As Belos started to regrow his arm, Elita delivered a round kick to his torso and struck him five times with her speedy fists before Ultra Magnus delivered a powerful blow then sent Belos flying.
"Where is Grimlock and his team?!" Ultra Magnus asked, noticing the absence of the Dinobots.
"Don't know, don't care! We get this chump all to ourselves!" Ironhide stated, shooting Belos with his cannons at close range.
Wheeljack swiftly got behind Belos and kicked him three times on his back, launching him towards Bulkhead as the dark green Wrecker then pounded Belos with his wrecking ball. Belos angrily snarled as he started clashing with Bulkhead and Wheeljack's weapons, until Seaspray grabbed him by the shoulder with one of his sickles.
"You mess with the Wreckers, then you mess with me!" Seaspray stated, tossing Belos onto the ground and then kicking him away.
Jetfire flew at Belos from the left and he delivered a powerful jab to the monstrous witch Hunter before attempting to swing his foot down on him. Belos uses his arms to block Jetfire's drop kick attack, but the Aerialbot ignited his foot's thruster in Belos' face and it blew him away, allowing Dreadwing to swipe his sword onto his torso's left side. Belos soon found himself being ganged up by Optimus and his team as the Hexside Squad looked on with big smiles, thinking their Cybertronians friends would be able to take down their oldest foe.
"Man, they sure know how to kick some evil butt." Gus remarked.
"Last chance to give up now, Belos." Bumblebee declared with a glare.
"Yeah, you're obviously no good at battling against us." Smokescreen boasted.
"You have plotted to destroy an innocent species for the last time, Belos. Surrender or face the consequences of your genocidal actions." Optimus ordered sternly.
"There is nothing innocent about those witches! And I shall be no consequences for the justice I'll deliver to them or all of you!" Belos shouted.
"Luz was right. You are a hypocrite." Arcee insulted.
Belos snarled in pure anger as he then shot his slimy arm at the Autobots and smacked away Bumblebee, Cliffjumper and Jazz. Arcee and Wheeljack attempted to strike Belos with their respective blades, only for Belos to block them with his hook and he tossed them into a pile of graves. Smokescreen fired his blaster at Belos and the monstrous witch hunter blocked the shots with his hook, making his other arm bring out a familiar launcher and shoot a net that trapped Smokescreen.
"What was that about me not being good in a battle?" Belos asked with a devious smile.
Seaspray, Ironhide and Dreadwing were about to attack the monstrous witch hunter, but Optimus placed his hand in front of them as a sign to stop.
"Tend to the others and our comrades. I shall handle this." Optimus proclaimed, stepping forward to face Belos. "If you seek to end any lives on this night, Belos, you may attempt at ending mine if you dare."
"Nothing would please me more than to do just that." Belos sneered.
"Kick his slimy backside, big guy!" Boscha called out.
Optimus then shifted his hand into a blaster and fired three shots at Belos, who used his hook to deflect all the shots and swiped it towards the Autobot leader. Optimus managed to avoid the hook's sharp end and he struck Belos with six powerful punches before kneeing him in the chest and sent him flying with a big uppercut. Belos crashed against the island ground as Optimus brought out his mini gun and aimed it at the monstrous witch hunter.
"It is over, Belos." Optimus proclaimed.
"Listen to Optimus, you jerk! You can't win against him!" Luz shouted firmly.
"Let's agree to disagree!" Belos retorted before he suddenly shot his slimy arm at Optimus and it pierced through his right shoulder.
Optimus gasped painfully from the stabbing injury he received and backed away while placing a hand over his wound. Everyone gasped shockingly from seeing Optimus get terrible damaged by Belos as Ultra Magnus and Elita rushed up to the Autobot leader, grabbing him by his sides to help him stand.
"We've got you, sir." Ultra Magnus assured.
"Optimus, are you okay?" Elita asked in great concern.
"I…I believe so." Optimus groaned.
"None of you will be fine for much longer." Belos replied, standing up and approaching the Autobots and Hexside Squad to end them.
When he noticed the Titan Blood vial by his feet, Belos picked it up again and held the blood in his hand.
"I still have what I need, and it's only fitting I make sure none of you attempt to follow me back to where my mission began." Belos said with a smirk.
"You're not gonna take us down, freak show!" Bulkhead stated as he and the others stood strong in defiance.
"You might've been able to overwhelm me and my friends back in your little den, but we've got even more strength with the Autobots on our side!" Luz declared.
"To be fair, I recently just joined you guys." Knock Out said.
Hunter could only stare silently at how brave his friends were facing against Belos and realised all that he's done was stay back from the fighting in terror. Finally knowing that it was time for him to face his demons, Hunter put on a very determined glare as Flapjack flew up to his owner once he sensed his courage returning and shifted into his staff form for Hunter to hold.
"Look at you all. So full of hope that makes you believe you can actually stop me. But, I'm afraid that it won't be enough to save any of you." Belos told his enemies, smirking sinisterly. "And now, all I want is for you all…to be gone!"
The monstrous witch hunter bared his hook again to attack and the Autobots and Hexside Squad braced themselves, only for Hunter to suddenly flash ahead with his signature ability and he smacked Belos' hook before he instantly flashed down to Belos' legs and used a golden energy strike from his staff to make him fall back. The vial of Titan Blood rested in Belos' open palm as Hunter landed back on the ground and he glared directly at the monstrous witch hunter, while his friends watched in surprise from the distance.
"Hunter…" Bumblebee whispered, shocked and impressed by what his Witch friend did as he marched right up to Belos.
"You know what I'd like, Belos? I'd like to leave the Emperor's Coven and never step foot in that throne room again. I'd like to study wild magic and learn how to carve Palisman." Hunter declared firmly, snatching the Titan Blood vial from his former uncle and approaching the lake with it. "I'd like to attend Hexside as a regular student and play Flyer Derby with my friends! I'd like to be a big help in rebuilding Cybertron with my Autobot friends and always make them feel welcomed on my home! And most of all…I'd like to make sure you never hurt anyone AGAIN!"
Reeling his hand back, Hunter tossed the vial of Titan Blood into the lake and Belos' glowing eyes widened from seeing this.
"NO!" Belos yelled furiously before standing up and charging straight forward.
Bumblebee, Arcee, Bulkhead, Jazz and Ironhide attempted to stop him, but Belos managed to power through them by smashing them away with his slimy arm and hook. Belos then slammed his slimy hand into Hunter with all his strength and he was sent flying back to his friends.
"Hunter!" Bumblebee called worriedly, quickly catching bus Witch friend.
Belos dived straight into the lake and he managed to grab the Titan Blood vial, but then he slowly lost consciousness and began sinking down the lake as the Auto-Hex team saw this from above.
"I got him!" Jazz stated before he shot his energy grapple into the lake.
The energy grapple managed to hook onto Belos' Cybertronian body and Jazz pulled him out of the lake, allowing Optimus to settle him down on the bridge they stood on.
"How is he?" Skara asked.
"I'm not sure." Ratchet answered while using his scanner on the unresponsive body of Lockdown. "There aren't any life signs coming from Belos or Lockdown, at the moment."
But then, all the dark-green slime that was on Lockdown's body started leaving the Cybertronian bounty hunter as he screamed in agony. The Autobots, Hexside Squad, Camila and Fowler looked behind in shock to see the slime form into Belos' true monstrous form.
"Caleb, you would stab me in the back?!" Belos questioned while furiously glaring at Hunter, who was guarded by Bumblebee and Ironhide.
"You did it to him first." Luz retorted spitefully.
"Now that you don't have a trusty Cybertronian body, you're just a pile of freaky mud that needs to be wiped away." Wheeljack declared, pointing one of his swords at Belos.
"Ignorant machine! I won't be stopped by any of you!" Belos yelled before he knocked away most of the Autobots away with a swing from his arm.
"Guys, no!" Luz called out worriedly as she and her friends rushed to check on their Autobot friends.
Seeing his chance, Belos rushed towards the stone gate with the Titan Blood vial still in his hand and he slammed it onto the top part of the gate, causing the Titan Blood to stain over it and some of it dripped onto the ground. Suddenly, the Titan Blood started to generate some magical energy around the center of the stone gate and it then formed into a swirling magical portal. The Autobots, Hexside Squad, Camila and Fowler looked at the magic portal in stunned silence as they knew it definitely wasn't a Ground Bridge or Space Bridge.
"This is for the good of your souls! You'll thank me later! And the next time we meet, I will have something very special in store for all of you!" Belos called before he slowly stepped into the portal and vanished on the other side, with the entire heroic group not noticing a familiar purple glowing crystal that was lodged into his slimy back.
"…That's the Belos you kids have been fighting this whole time?!" Camila asked astonishingly after a small moment of silence.
"I had no idea he could look like that." Boscha admitted.
"It's definitely the ugliest mug I've ever seen." Fowler remarked.
"You okay, Hunter?" Bumblebee asked, kneeling towards the blonde Witch boy.
"I'll survive. Thanks for the catch, Bee." Hunter replied as Flapjack transformed into his original form and tweeted kindly at the yellow Autobot.
"No problem. I'm just glad we managed to get here in time." Bumblebee said with a smile.
"We're all glad you guys came back." Amity admitted kindly.
"Hey, you kids already did a lot of helping with us, so we had to return the favour." Cliffjumper replied.
"Yeah. Things might have gone a little badder if you weren't here." Gus said, smiling awkwardly.
"Let's not think about that, kid." Ironhide replied.
"You sure gave that Belos creep a piece of your mind." Smokescreen complemented.
"Especially you, Hunter." Luz added, smiling at said Witch boy. "Not too bad for a Grimwalker of all people."
"Wait, what?" Wheeljack asked in confusion, making Luz's eyes widen in surprise as she realised she just unintentionally revealed Hunter's secret identity.
"Grimwalker?" Willow questioned.
"You know what? That's a little something we can speak about in a not-so awkward moment." Knock Out admitted. "Anyone okay with that?"
"Yeah. Whatever a Grimwalker is, I'd like to know at a different time." Jazz agreed.
"So, what made all of you come back here?" Boscha asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Optimus had some visions that showed all of you in big danger." Arcee answered.
"They must've been pretty serious then." Amity said.
"You might say that." Jetfire replied in agreement.
"So, what about this one?" Dreadwing asked, gesturing to Lockdown's unresponsive body.
Ratchet did another scan on the body of Lockdown and the results showed a single flatline on Ratchet's holographic arm screen.
"Lockdown is showing zero readings of being online. Belos must have drained all of his life energy while possessing him." Ratchet said solemnly.
"So…he's dead?" Vee asked.
"It would appear so." Elita answered.
"Then there is only thing left to do." Optimus said as he then approached Lockdown's body and picked it up before softly placing it into the lake, letting it sink down to the bottom. "May Lockdown find peace in the Well of all Sparks."
"Well, it's not like anyone will miss him." Gus admitted.
Just then, the gang began to hear some thunderous footsteps and they turned to the other side of the forest to see the Dinobots charging straight out and arriving on the island.
"Alright, we're here!" Grimlock announced. "What did we miss?"
"Pretty much everything, bug guy." Seaspray replied with his arms crossed.
"Where were you guys while we were taking on a slime-made human psycho?" Bulkhead questioned.
"Uh…we kinda got lost." Swoop replied nervously.
"This forest was a bit big to navigate through." Slug added.
"Well, you could've gotten here sooner." Knock Out commented with a frown.
"The important part of this is that we managed to drive Belos away and no lives were lost." Optimus reassured.
"Accept for Lockdown." Cliffjumper whispered.
"So, does that portal lead to where I think it leads?" Bumblebee questioned as he gestured to the magic portal ahead.
"Yeah. To the Boiling Isles in the demon realm." Willow answered while staring silently at the portal with her friends.
"Your home world." Smokescreen said.
"Well I'll be Obama's uncle." Fowler commented, amazed by what he heard and saw.
"Um, Luz? What did Belos mean when he said you helped him meet the Collector?" Amity asked with a slight frown. "I mean, that was a lie, right?"
"No way something like that could be true." Wheeljack added.
Luz began to feel a bit uneasy as she could instantly tell her friends and mother were very curious to know what she's been keeping from them. The Hispanic girl then turned her attention to Optimus and Arcee since she was closest to them, hoping they would have an answer.
"Just be honest, Luz. Don't be afraid." Arcee told her softly, with Optimus nodding in agreement as Luz let out a sigh and walked ahead.
"It's true, guys. I'm the reason Belos was able to find the Collector and gain everything he needed for his so-called Day of Unity plan." Luz told everyone softly, with Stringbean floating next to her in comfort. "I walked into this time pool and then I met him. Belos, of Philip as he called himself back then, and I showed him how to use a Light spell. That's how he was able to find the Collector and set everything in motion. I'm sorry, everyone."
"Well, that's a lot of baggage for a single human to carry." Knock Out quipped, only for Arcee to elbow him in the gut.
"And you decided to keep your mouth shut about this because…" Ironhide started to ask.
"Because I was scared. I thought most of you would hate me for it. But after all those days we had hanging with each other with missions that involved beating up Decepticons, searching for hidden super weapons and restoring Cybertron, I actually managed to bury all those feelings in me since there was a lot more important stuff going on." Luz replied softly before she then stopped in front of the magic portal. "Listen, I still have to make things right back at the Boiling Isles by stopping Belos and the Collector and making sure everyone else is safe. If any of you want to come with me, that'd be nice. But if the rest of you don't wanna forgive me for what I did, then I'll-"
"Take your Mama to the demon realm!" Camila finished, placing an arm around her daughter.
"Count us in, too!" Jazz stated in enthusiasm as Luz stepped back from the portal in surprise.
"What?!" Luz asked shockingly, not expecting everyone to be okay with her revelation.
"I couldn't hate you, Luz." Amity assured, pulling her girlfriend in for a hug. "The fact that you still stand up for us means enough for me."
"After all the awesome times we had together while kicking Decepticon tailpipes, you seriously think we'd get mad at you for getting tricked by some lunatic?" Smokescreen asked.
"Holding grudges is something we don't tend to do." Ratchet added.
"Besides, Belos was the one who did most of the genocidal work, so I'm just pointing all my anger at him instead of you." Boscha said, smiling casually.
"Mija, now that I've seen what you've been up against before the Decepticons, there is no way I'm letting you go back alone." Camila declared firmly. "It is our duty to help your friends get back to their families."
"The female native is correct. This is something we must all face and accomplish together." Ultra Magnus announced.
"Especially if it means I get to tear apart this Belos." Grimlock said while cracking his robotic knuckles.
"You're all really forgiving me like nothing?" Luz asked in a stunned tone.
"Is that a rhetorical question?" Cliffjumper questioned jokingly. "Because if not, then you already know the answer."
"We all came back to you for a reason, Luz." Bumblebee proclaimed with a kind smile.
"You were tricked. That's what Belos does, he tricks people. But if it weren't you, it would have been someone else and then there'd be no one left to fight back." Hunter said, staring Luz straight in her eyes. "So let's do that. Let's fight back. What do you say?"
"Yeah. I'm definitely in." Luz answered while smiling gratefully.
"That's what we wanted to hear." Skara remarked before everyone noticed the magic portal slowly beginning to fade away.
"Looks like the portal's starting to bail on us." Ironhide said.
"Autobots, friends, the time has come for all of us to perform one final task to ensure the freedom of our worlds." Optimus told his friends. "No matter what dangers we may face, we shall always face them as one."
"We're with you to the end, Optimus." Ratchet assured.
"Same with you, Luz." Gus added.
Hunter was the first one to step towards the portal as he took a very deep breath and turned to Flapjack.
"Time to go home, Flap." Hunter said to his Palisman, who chirped in response as Bumblebee stood next to them. "Hope you're ready to be in my world, Bee."
"I'm ready for anything, Hunter. Let's do this." Bumblebee replied before they then walked into the portal.
"Goodbye, Human Realm! Thank you for showing me your secrets." Gus called as he, Willow, Bulkhead and Wheeljack walked up next. "I hope to see you again."
"You'll definitely get that chance soon, buddy." Wheeljack told his Witch friend as the two of them stepped through.
"Thanks for the memories. We'll be back after we get some revenge." Willow said while waving to the world she's been living in for quite a while.
"Don't count me out, Willow. Let's do this." Bulkhead said, holding his fist down to the Plant Witch girl. "Wrecker style?"
"Wrecker style." Willow agreed as they did a fist bump.
The two of them stepped into the portal after Gus and Wheeljack as the next ones to approach it were Skara and Smokescreen.
"This is gonna be the second other world I've ever visited." Smokescreen said with an excited smile. "Is there anything I've gotta know about?"
"You'll see when we get there, Smokey." Skara replied before they both entered the portal, prompting Boscha and Seaspray to be next in line.
"You can tell me that you missed me. I won't gossip about it." Seaspray told the Triclops witch.
"Things have just been a little boring without you Autobots, that's all." Boscha answered, shooting a slight smile at her Autobot friend.
"Good." Seaspray chuckled before they both walked through.
Amity and Cliffjumper were next as the Abomination Witch girl stood next to her girlfriend.
"Luz, I know things are scary and I don't know what the future holds. But it would be so cool if you were a part of that." Amity said sincerely. "But no more hiding, okay? We're all in this together, as one."
"Yeah, I know. See you on the other side." Luz replied with a smile. "Promise."
"If I get to meet your twin sibs, I hope they'll be telling me a lot of fun stories about your childhood, mittens." Cliffjumper quipped, making Amity turn red in embarrassment.
"Don't you dare, Cliff!" Amity retorted as she managed to let out some laughs.
Cliffjumper shared a chuckle with his Witch friend before the two of them entered the portal. Ultra Magnus, Elita, Ironhide, Jetfire, Dreadwing and Knock Out were the next ones to approach the portal.
"Let's move out, soldiers." Ultra Magnus instructed.
"And remember, we don't know what to expect in the Boiling Isles." Elita reminded. "Be sure to stay on guard."
"Whatever tries to attack us, we'll take it down." Ironhide reassured, charging his cannons.
"But if I end up getting taken offline, make sure my finish is looking good at my memorial." Knock Out said, a bit timid.
"You're always welcome to remain here, Knock Out." Dreadwing said as they all entered the portal, prompting Knock Out to immediately follow them out of worridness of being alone.
"You wanna tag along, kid?" Jazz asked Vee, who looked away slightly.
"I don't think I'm ready." Vee admitted.
"Hey, you're a super tough girl and I'll always be next to you. You did manage to stand up to Predaking of all bots." Jazz reassured. "What do you say?"
"…I guess you're right. I've already faced a lot of dangerous things on Earth, so going back to the Boiling Isles wouldn't be very bad." Vee said, smiling with newfound confidence.
"Atta girl. Let's get a move on." Jazz encouraged before they both entered the portal.
"You're gonna wanna need this." Fowler said as he handed a bat to Camila.
"Thank you, Agent Fowler." Camila replied. "Are you coming, too?"
"I got assigned to Prime and his team for a reason. Figured that means going wherever they go, which includes a magical wonderland." Fowler admitted. "Besides, I've called a few friends to watch over your house while we're gone."
"Well, I'm sure you can handle it." Camila told him.
"Here's hoping." Fowler quipped before he walked into the portal.
"This is what you've always been working towards, Luz." Arcee said, bending down to her human friend and placing a supportive hand on her back. "I promise, we'll stop Belos, free the Boiling Isles from the Collector and make everything good again."
"I know we will, Arcee. We've certainly beated worse before." Luz replied.
"No kidding. Still, we've got your back." Arcee told her kindly as she and Camila approached the portal.
"Make sure you don't leave unprepared." Camila said before she handed Luz her costume's hat. "A good witch always has to have her hat."
When Arcee and Camila walked into the portal, Optimus then stood right next to Luz as Stringbean changed into her staff form and the Hispanic girl held her.
"Thanks so much for coming back, Optimus. I missed you, and the rest." Luz told the Autobot leader gratefully.
"As I have grown to miss you and your friends, Luz." Optimus replied. "You have all done great things to help us in our mission to end the Cybertronian war and bring Cybertron back to life. It's only fair that we return the favour by saving the world that you have all been attached to for so long."
"That makes sense. We'll definitely show Belos and the Collector what we can do when we're fighting together." Luz declared, holding her hand out. "Till all are one."
"Indeed. Till all are one." Optimus agreed as the two of them shook hands and then entered the magic portal, leaving only the Dinobots left.
"So, should we tell them about what we found on Lockdown's ship?" Swoop questioned.
"Not yet." Grimlock said before he reached to his back and then brought out a strange Cybertronian object, which had a pinkish-red glowing orb in the center of four thin metal right triangles. "It's better to leave it until we really need to use it."
"Whatever you say, Grim. I just wish we knew what that thing could do." Snarl replied.
"I honestly couldn't care. If Lockdown wanted to keep it, then it must be something very important." Sludge proclaimed.
"Let's just go to this magic world and help Prime and his little friends smash some more maniacs." Grimlock instructed before the Dinobots then made their way into the magic portal.
But just then, a familiar Cybertronian ship arrived over the area and it landed in front of the island before the hatch opened up and Galvatron and his Decepticons stepped out.
"This is where you detected the Autobot signals?" Galvatron questioned, looking around and seeing no signs of the Autobots or their allies.
"We're certain, master. The scanners weren't faulty." Thundercracker assured.
"Then how come the Autobots and their pets aren't here?" Shatter asked with a frown.
"Uh, I think it might have something to do with that." Wildrider answered as he pointed to the magic portal, causing the other Decepticons to look at it as well.
"What in the name of the Allspark is that?" Starscream asked in awe.
"It's so bright. Bright. Bright." Kickback whispered.
"This anomaly appears to possess different properties compared to that of a Space Bridge, but they match the same energy signature to that of the Witch's magic abilities." Shockwave said as he used a device on his arm to scan the portal. "Lord Galvatron, I believe that this may be a gateway into…the Boiling Isles."
"Seriously? The home world of those little witch pets?" Breakdown asked in surprise.
"I can't believe the Autobots managed to find a way there before we did." Skywarp commented.
"A path towards the world of magic, right in front of is." Galvatron said in a very amazed expression before smirking. "After all this time, Prime has actually given us a way to a new world for us to claim."
"This is truly brilliant for all of us, Lord Galvatron." Starscream agreed. "Shall we walk through, then?"
"Indeed, Starscream." Galvatron replied. "Decepticons, follow me to a world of unlimited new power."
"A logical course of action, my liege." Shockwave said.
"Time to check this magic world out and crush all the insects living on it." Dropkick sneered.
"Along with those stupid Bots." Sharpshot added with a snarl.
The Decepticons then started walking straight through the magic portal one by one as Galvatron was the last one.
"It is time for this war to be fought on brand new territory." Galvatron said to himself, walking into the magic portal.
Suddenly, the Predacons landed on the island just as Megatron was gone and they transformed into their robot forms.
"I can sense them. The Autobots and Decepticons were just here." Predaking proclaimed as he and his Predacon followers turned their attention to the portal in front of them. "They had to have entered that unusual entrance."
"What even is that?" Darksteel asked with a confused look.
"More importantly, where does this strange portal lead to?" Ripclaw questioned.
"Just as long as it leads to our prey, I couldn't really be bothered." SkyLynx replied simply.
"We'll follow you if you're willing to enter a new area, Predaking." Backbite assured his leader.
"Then let us see what kind of new world we shall claim for our mighty race." Predaking declared, scowling firmly as he the other four Predacons entered the portal.
Just as it seemed that there was no one left, Unicron's purple energy form showed up on the island and he glared at the portal in front of him.
"So, the followers of Primus have retreated to a different world?" Unicron questioned, narrowing his eyes dangerously as he still had a lot of hate left in him from his previous defeat. "Then whatever primitive world they have gone to, it shall be eradicated and wiped out in the of chaos! Vengeance shall be mine!"
Unicron's energy form then shot itself into the magic portal as it slowly began to fade away. The entire area then changed into a familiar grey and shady atmosphere as it was shown that standing in front of the portal from the Shadowzone was none than Soundwave. The communication Decepticon stared at where the Autobots, Hexside Squad, Decepticons, Predacons and Unicron had gone through and he used his screen face to scan the entire magic portal before he then slowly stepped into it and ended up vanishing on the other side. The magic portal then closed up as all the Cybertronian groups and the Hexside Squad were on route to the Boiling Isles, where they final confrontation would take place.
Author's Note: Sorry this took so long to make. I've been very busy with other things lately since I've been back at college these past few days. You can likely expect a few other chapters to arrive later than usual, too.
Be sure to leave a review of what you thought :)
