"Jinn and Sylph..." Justice muttered as he was looking over footage of what happened the other day. "They were both associates of Drakken Joe, but they helped Demon King this time. Have they joined forces with him now? On top of that, who is this?" He looked over the footage he had of Shura. "How could have the same skill as Demon King? What is going on?"

"Sounds like you're getting more questions than answers. Don't scowl your face so much. You wouldn't want to ruin that handsome face of yours." He looked up and saw that his fellow executive, Holy, was right before him.

"Holy? What are you doing here? I wasn't told that you were coming." Justice said.

"Would have ruined the surprise if I told you. Besides, I'm not the only one who came." Holy said as she showed that Eraser and Feather joined in as well.

"This seems to be where the party is, so we thought it would be easier if we just came here." Eraser said.

"With how things are unfolding, we thought it would be best to coordinate here." Feather said.

"What about Cure? Where is he?" Justice questioned.

"He had other matters to look into, but the three of us agreed it would be best for us here." Holy said as she looked over what Justice did had. "Seems like Demon King is getting the party started, and now new and old faces are getting mixed in. What I think is the most interesting is that two characters managed to escape through there." She claimed as she brought up the moment when Shura and Ijuna escaped. "How were they able to get through there?"

"A duelist should not have that sort of authorization." Feather said. "We believed that a duelist going in through there would have brought upon their deletion or perhaps be digitized, but I doubt those two would have gone through there. They did not appear to be desperate for an escape."

"More like that was their escape route the whole time." Eraser said. "I wonder what really happens if you go through there."

"I'm not sure, but I have a feeling Demon King might." Justice said. "It seemed like he was rather eager to go after them."

"And perhaps we can use that to our benefit. After all, if those two duelists gained access, this might have something to do with one of our other wanted criminals." Holy said as she has an idea that could help them catch a few other people they've been after.

...

Shiki's Home

"Unbelievable. Leave it Labillia to make your big return about her." Rebecca said as she was surfing the web. The gang met up at Shiki's home to discuss what happened in Duel Links. "A lot of your fans were excited to see your return the other day. I just wish it was under better circumstances."

"You're saying those two escaped under the giant structure beam that runs directly under the mother platform of duel links?" Homura questioned. "What exactly is that?"

"That is actually where all the data of Duel Links flows." Weisz said. "New data material flows in and where data waste is dealt with. That beam appears to be endless, but that's because it connects all of Duel Links to the entire network that runs through the entire world."

"The whole network?! You mean like the internet and such?" Rebecca said. "That's unbelievable, but duelists aren't allowed to go there. That area is off limits. How did those two get through?"

"I'm not sure, but we must find a way to go after them." Eden said. "It's quite concerning that this Shura could use Shiki's skill. That skill was created specifically for him. I cannot figure out how he was able to learn that skill."

"But how can we go after him?" Homura questioned. "We don't know what would happen if we go in there."

"Which is why I had Weisz make a map for us and tried to see for himself." Eden said. "Were you able to get anything?"

"It wasn't easy, but I managed to hack my way in and tried to get a route." Weisz said as he showed it to them. "The inside is more complex than it looks. There's one path for new data to flow in as well as a path for wasted data to exit. Not to mention that these paths could lead to anywhere in the network. If you go in there, there's no telling where you could end up. It's possible one could even be deleted. That being said, those two must have some sort of route that helped them escape knowing no one would follow them. Luckily, it was easy for me to track. Since they were foreign to what is in there, I was able to track them down and find the path they took."

"So we can follow after them?" Shiki said.

"Well... Maybe... I managed to follow them as best as I could, but I lost them around here." Weisz said as he showed them the end of his map. "It looks like there's something there, like maybe a portal or something, and they escaped through there. I don't know what's beyond that point."

"But we're not really going through there, are we? We don't even know if our accounts will work beyond Duel Links." Rebecca said.

"I believe they might." Eden said. "Drakken Joe digitized his mind when his body became too old. He's been hiding in the network for all these years. Using your Duel Links accounts is the same thing."

"Plus, we did manage to get into Interstellar's mainframe. They might have created Duel Links, but that shouldn't have meant our avatars could get in." Weisz claimed.

"But is this really a good idea?" Homura questioned. "Can we really travel to other virtual places?"

"That's what we're going to find out." Shiki said. "Eden is pretty concerned about all of this. We've got to go after them to find out what's going on, so we have to go through there."

"I'm actually concerned about Jinn and Sylph returning. Why did they comeback to help you?" Weisz questioned. "The authorities and Interstellar are going to be after them like us since they worked with Drakken Joe. They took a big risk."

"You can ask them yourselves. They should be on their way here." Shiki said.

"What do you mean... You didn't." Weisz said as he thought Shiki did something stupid.

"Hello? Anyone here?"

"They're here!" Shiki said as he hurried out. They all couldn't believe Shiki just did what he did. Shiki made it to the front and met them in person: Jinn and Sylph. The two of them were standing right in front of them in the real world.

"Are you Demon King?" Sylph asked.

"I am, but I'm called Shiki around here. Just take a look as proof I am who I say I am." Shiki said as he showed Eden.

"Hello, Jinn and Kleene. So, we meet in person." Eden said.

"Those are just our names in Duel Links. My real name is Kleene Rutherford, and this is my brother Kris." She introduced.

"You actually gave us your name and where you live. That isn't very smart." Kris said.

"What's going on here?!" Weisz said as he and the girls showed themselves. "Shiki! How could you just tell these two where you live and who you are?!"

"Weisz is right, Shiki. That's dangerous." Rebecca said. "Especially considering that these two worked for a madman that tried to destroy us."

"They can't be all that bad considering they actually tried to help us." Shiki said. "Besides, she said there would be an open line for me to contact them. I asked Eden to send a message so that they could explain themselves."

"And you just gave away where you lived when you could have done this back in Duel Links or something?" Rebecca questioned. "Shiki, you still got a lot to learn about the dangers of being in the virtual world."

"Isn't that how I met you guys?" Shiki questioned. That part was a little tough to argue.

"Just to be clear, I couldn't care less on what became of you in that mess. The only reason I helped you was because I owed you for saving Kleene." Kris claimed. "Helping you was all her idea."

"So, why did you want to help us?" Eden questioned. Kleene wanted to answer, but it looked as if it was a sensitive subject. They moved the conversation inside where they could talk it over.

"First of all, you should understand that we're not as bad as Drakken Joe. We might have answered to him, but we didn't have much choice at the time." Kleene said. "You see, Kris and I didn't have a home. We lost both of our parents and...were out on our own. We tried to do what we could to survive."

"You lost your parents?" Rebecca said as she felt sorry for them.

"Don't give in just because they're giving us a sob story." Weisz said. "For all we know, this whole thing is just one big lie."

"You calling my sister a liar?" Kris said as he glared right at Weisz with Weisz glaring back.

"Brother, please... We didn't come here to fight." Kleene said as she got him to settle down. "It's true that we lost our parents. After that, we were living out on the streets, and it seemed like no one would really help us. That was until Drakken Joe found us."

"Drakken Joe?" Shiki questioned.

"Becoming duelists were the only way for us to try and survive. Drakken Joe found us and thought he could use us." Kleene claimed. "He gave us money and we were able to find ourselves a home, but we were indebted to him. We had to do what he said so that we could live."

"So you were in desperate times and he took advantage of that." Homura summarized.

"We didn't really like doing some of the things he had us do, but we didn't have a choice." Kleene claimed. "Although, we didn't expect that tower he constructed, or for our data to be absorbed into it. I suppose that if it wasn't for you defeating him, we wouldn't be standing here now."

"Is that why you wanted to help us? What you feel like you owe us now?" Weisz questioned.

"Well... It's more to it than that." Kleene claimed. "Back when we were living on the streets, no one would really help us. I began to think there weren't really kind people in the world. However, when you saved me from that fall, I was able to look into your eyes. It was like... It was almost like I could feel your kindness. It's like it gave me this feeling telling me that you really were a good person. After Drakken Joe was defeated, we tried to figure out what we were going to do. After everything that happened, well... I thought maybe we be better with someone like you rather than Drakken Joe." After hearing the story, it was rather sad. It sounds like Kleene wants to be a better person than how she was before, and it sounds like she thinks Shiki can help with that.

"Does that mean we can be friends?!" Shiki said as he got all happy about that.

"That's jumping to conclusions." Eden said.

'Sounds like they both had it rather hard.' Rebecca thought. 'Kleene wants to become a better person, try to leave the life she was forced to live, but I think her brother doesn't care. He's just here for her.'

"Come on. You guys aren't really going to let this sob story get to you, are you?" Weisz said as he wasn't buying into it. "It's going to take more than one good deed from someone they don't even know to show they're serious about this."

"Drakken Joe lives out in the network. Whatever happened to him?" Homura questioned.

"He's gone into hiding. We haven't heard from since you brought him down, and the Element 4 appear to be no more." Kleene claimed. "It would seem that we've disbanded."

"But the people of Interstellar or the authorities won't see it like that." Rebecca said. "Besides, we're not in a much better boat. They still don't approve of some of the things we've done like hacking into their mainframe. Interstellar might be a tech business, but they act like a government agency towards Duel Links, especially since they have worked with the authorities to capture hackers and other cyber criminals. Our actions were similar to interfering with official police work."

"Yes, but you never endangered the lives of many." Kleene said. "And we know our way around so we might be able to help you with that."

"Nah, it's fine. You don't need to convince me." Shiki said. "If you want to help us out, I'm all for it. In fact, maybe you can help us right now."

"Shiki, you're not seriously thinking of letting them come along with us, are you?!" Weisz said.

"It's all going to be fine, Weisz. Besides, we might need the extra help." Shiki said, but Weisz didn't like this at all. "Now, let us fill you in so that we can get to work." He said as he welcomed the Rutherford siblings into their group.

...

Duel Links

Demon King and the others logged themselves back into Duel Links so they can get to work. Once they filled in the Rutherford siblings on what was going on, they all dove in and went after them. The only one to stay behind was Weisz.

"So, you're going after this Shura because you think he might be up to no good?" Sylph questioned as they all road on their own duel board to where they have to go.

"We don't know what he's up to, but he sure did go through a lot of trouble just to lure Demon King out." Aoneko said. "That's why we're going to venture into the network and see what lies beyond Duel Links."

"I don't know about this. I don't like the idea of you going into such a dangerous place." Jinn claimed.

"Thanks for the concern." Demon King said.

"I was talking to my sister. I couldn't careless about what happens to the rest of you." Jinn said. "The only reason I'm here is to make sure my sister stays protected."

"You don't have to worry too much about me." Sylph said.

"Hey! Can you all hear me?!" Weisz called as he was able to establish a connection with them. "I'm all set on my end. I can guide you all through where we lost those two. However, it's going to be tough to keep contact once you enter the data highway, and might even be impossible once you reached the end point. There's no telling where you will go."

"In other words, we have to be careful." Aoneko said.

"That might be tougher than we think." Kyubi said as she found they were being followed. All of them took a look and saw that Holy was there with her riding on her own duel board.

"I knew you wouldn't be able to stay away." Holy said.

"Who are you?" Demon King questioned.

"You can call me Holy. I'm part of Interstellar. I believe you might know my equal business associate: Justice." Holy said.

"She's friends with Justice?" Demon King said.

"Justice was a highly ranked official of Interstellar, and she's saying she's on the same level as him." Aoneko said.

"Since you've done a rather impressive job of avoiding our resources, the rest of the higher-ups and I decided to take matters into our own hands." Holy claimed.

"We don't have time for someone like her. We must focus on our mission." Eden said.

"We better do something to shake her." Demon King said. "We have to make it down below Duel Links."

"I'll hold her off. The rest of you keep going." Kyubi said.

"Are you sure?" Aoneko questioned. "It might be better if we stick together."

"I'll catch up with the rest of you. Just keep going." Kyubi said as she pulled back and tried to get in Holy's way. She was on the verge of crashing until Holy pulled out of the way.

"Hey! You're proving men are right that women can't drive when you do that!" Holy said.

"If you really want to take someone on, I'll be more than glad to do so." Kyubi offered. "I'm always looking forward to a new challenge to hone my skills." Holy turned to the others, but saw they were all making their escape.

"Very well. I suppose you'll do just fine. You're the one named Kyubi, aren't you?" Holy said. "Taking you down will work just fine for me, and I would so love to have some fun rather than going back behind a boring desk. Don't think I'm just a pretty face." Holy took Kyubi's challenge and the two of them flew off for it.

"Let's speed duel!"
