A/N: Okay so here, I am introducing new but familiar characters who aren't part of the MCU officially.
As Cindy Moon was watching the recorded news, she looked annoyed. "I should've known the Enforcers were in over their heads".
She closed the laptop and checked her watch. "Time for me to ask for a little assistance from the company's supporter".
Then a message popped up from her right-hand man. A picture of an important cube made out of powerful energy. "Perfect".
At K.I.P.P High, Nilima was taking down notes in class. She had the shivering feeling of someone staring at her. She tried to focus but wondering who was staring at her seemed more fun than listening to a history lesson about a bunch of old presidents from past eras.
The teacher was interrupted by the school counselor who asked him for a quick favor. As they both walked out of the classroom, closing the door, everyone started talking to each other. Nilima may have overheard Kevin talking to Gwen. "Nilima feels alone, okay, I'll ask her". Gwen just kept saying no to his idea.
Kevin stood up and walked to the girl. "Hey, Nilima right?" He smiled with a welcoming charm. Nilima gushed, then smiled nervously.
"Uh…yes! I'm her—me—she! Nice to meet you", she cursed in Bangla after realizing they had already met and introduced themselves.
"I hope you are coping well here. If you hadn't made any friends yet, feel free to talk to me any time okay?"
The desi girl whispered a thank you before one classmate announced that the teacher was returning.
Gwen kept staring at the new girl until she straightened her posture and widened her eyes (something she did when spider senses was concerningly loud). She stood up and cleared her throat. "I have to use the bathroom".
Mr. Connors scowled. "Gwen, this is the second period. Lunch time is right after this lesson. Now sit and take notes".
"But uh…my 'time of the month' just started right now!"
Everyone turned their heads to Gwen with disgusted and annoyed faces. Mr. Conners was the most concerned. "Fine, you may be excused", he sighed. Gwen ran, but before she reached the door, her teacher called firmly. "Miss Stacy, I doubt your outfit has any pockets. Shouldn't you take your school bag with you?"
"Uh, right!"
Venom was already at the scene of a disaster, he hesitated to take action in rescuing civilians trapped in a burning apartment building. It was a bit difficult as the entire building was engulfed in one of his only two weaknesses.
That was when some unidentified object fell from the sky and crashed through the rooftop of the burning building. At inhuman speed the zipped back and forth as it placed all the citizens trapped in the fire onto the road where the police and fire department were parked.
Then this force somehow sucked in all the smoke and flame in the building, until it looked like the building was fine with burnt marks. Then the force flew out and hovered before Venom and the police officers. It revealed itself to be a man…in some yellow outfit similar to Superman. He had long blonde hair and gently landed before the crowd.
"Fear not citizens! Your saviour has finally arrived to rid the world of villainy once and for all", He spoke in a cheesy stereotypical saviour tone. There were three seconds of silence until some officers were laughing, then immediately shushed after a higher-ranked officer glared at them.
"Cool, some tacky version of Superman saved us", one of the rescued citizens gasped.
"Who the hell are you?!" Venom glared. He couldn't believe this individual just appeared out of nowhere without permission.
"I understand that you are amazed and impressed by the scene of me doing my duty—"
"Can you get to the part where you tell us who you are!" Venom interrupted while tapping his foot with impatience.
"I am the true hero of this world, I am Sentury!"
Everyone stared with an awkward pause. Venom started laughing. Some officers were annoyed by that. "Why is he laughing? Doesn't he also talk like that?"
Venom snapped his neck to the two officers at that comment. "I DO NOT TALK LIKE I'M FROM THE NINETEEN FIFTIES!"
"Strange creature, anything but pretty, do not worry, you will no longer need to be this city's saviour while I am here".
"WHAT—HOW—"
"Did this happen?" Marc asked with disbelief, Steven Grant was proud of himself. "Marc, since we are sperheroes we should use it to our advantage".
"Since when did you agree to capitalize?"
"Since we no longer work at the museum".
"Makes sense. Didn't think we'd go along with this, just as long as we are masked during our sessions", Marc Spectre lectured. "Wait, why am I being the mother hen? That should be your side of our dynamic".
Steven just glared at his reflection who gave a smug look at annoying him. Then there was a ring at the door. "Show time", he took one look at himself as Mr. Knight with mask one and went to give someone an interview to be his secretary.
At the boardroom of the office Marc/Steven rented to begin a superhero freelance service, was a young woman who was texting on her phone.
"Hello Miss Bennet! Good to finally meet you!"
The woman just raised an eyebrow then rolled her eyes. "Dude, I don't know why I have to play pretend when you already gave me the job, we already know each other".
"You don't know my real name", He pointed. Reese (the young woman) sighed. It was true, she found the secret identity rule a bit irritating sometimes.
"True, but you still gave me a job right after you saved me from vampires".
"Okay, so you do what you see secretaries do all the time on the Telly, but accurately. Don't be lazy, and if you see someone coming in with a gun then alert me right away".
"You watch a lot of TV I see…"
Mr. Knight chuckled, "It's either that or sleeping peacefully".
"Eh?"
One hour Later
Reese was in her reception desk, getting bored as things were slow. She decided to call her boss. "Knight, how come business is slow?"
"Right now is far too early, and I made sure flyers were all over town. I even did a freaking television add! Wait…three seconds…two seconds…and…" He dragged. There was a knock at the door. A man came in, handsome with long dark hair and gothic clothes.
"Hello? Do you have want to see Mr. Knight?" Reese asked. The man eyed the girl then nodded. "Yes, I am".
She called her employer on the phone. "Knight, there is a goth man who wants to see you".
"That was informal for an office secretary…" The man scowled
"It's my first day here".
He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. The woman pointed at the door five feet from her desk. He walked in. As he did he whistled at the masked man.
"Sorry lad, I know I'm attractive but I'm married".
"…I was whistling at your suit".
"Suuure he was…", Marc retorted.
"Can I sit down?".
"Well of course! So what services would you like me to do? SUPER services like beating up bad people or rescuing someone who was kidnapped. Anything mercenary related".
"Mercenary? I thought the flyer said you were a hero".
"It depends on who is a mercenary with a moral code. Now tell me what you need me for".
"I have a very important job to do at San Francisco BUT I can't go there as there's a monster terrorizing it".
"A monster? What kind?"
"Extraterrestrial. Though I hope that won't be a problem for you to handle".
Mr. Knight rubbed his chin and hummed in thought, "Never faced an alien before…what do you know about it?"
"It's a literal maneater, goes for the head. It's impossible for a regular person to stop. Nobody could stop it from eating my girlfriend".
Jesus Christ
"Is there anything else I should know?"
"I've studied, I think he avoids places with loud speakers".
"…Does this monster have a name?"
"Lethal Protector".
Mr. Knight snorted a chuckle at that. "What kind of name is that?"
"I know, it's stupid. So, will you help me?"
"Of course, Mr…"
"Morbius, Michael Morbius".
