Issue #1: Beastmaster
[You have finished the tutorial and now you have unlocked class advancement trails. These are special quests that give you perks befitting the class and the higher you advance in once class, the more you advance in others.
Also, you are being stripped of your MP bar since having a Vancian magic perk makes lesser MP reliant perks a bit redundant and useless.
You can find class trails in your quest log.
You can figure the rest out on your own.]
"So, you have no idea where your going?" Billy asked Shanna while the two of them walked through a dense forest and noticed a few dodo birds waddling past them.
"We are heading towards Lemura. The large city in the distance. It's safe there but it will still take us days get there."
"Wait. If it's days away than just how big is the city, if we can see it from this far away?"
"You'll see soon enough." Shanna replied while Billy mentally focused and summoned his quest log and saw that he had a few dungeons and dragons, themed classes available to him and decided to wait before taking any of them, since they required him to level up his skills and perform specific actions which currently aren't available to him.
"Interesting." Billy said as he was about to close the quest log before he noticed that he could accomplish one class trail while in the wilderness and he gladly accepted the quest.

"Shanna. Do you know anything about animal tracking or hunting?" Billy asked after the duo stopped to rest from the long walk they endured up to this point. He also couldn't help but notice that wearing the loin cloth of the caveman that he helped kill didn't do anything for the cold breeze that sweeps through the forest.
"Of course I do. Why do you ask?"
"Because were both getting hungry, and we've walked for a while. So, I want to try hunting for some food."
"And what will you hunt with? Magic? Your bolts barely stunned Ka-Zar and his pet." Shanna replied making Billy shrug.
"Can't argue with that, but I still want to learn. And it's not like we have anything better to do if we want to kill time." Billy replied while Shanna let out a sigh before going over the basics of animal tracking and hunting which Billy picked up easily.
He surprised himself with how quickly he memorized the details since he barely remembered game strategies back in his old life of playing things like COD or Fortnite…Damn sweats.
Billy put the new information to use as he gained some space between himself and Shanna while looking around and seeing multiple tracks littering the ground.
Billy knelt to the ground and moved as quietly and stealthily as possible before moving through a few bushes and seeing a real life Direwolf. A wolf the size of a horse and it seemed to be an albino at that.
Pure white fur with crimson eyes and blood covering its mouth as it was eating the corpse of a raptor before it raised its head and turned to look at Billy. The wolf snarled before Billy raised his hands and spoke.
"Easy big guy, I'm not here to harm or threaten you." Billy said to the wolf who tilted its head. Billy knew it couldn't talk but he could sense the animals' emotions and knew that the wolf was confused and curious. "My friend and I are heading towards a city, and we could use your help to get there and hopefully not get eaten by any wildlife."
The wolf gave Billy a silent stare before it turned its head back to its meal before it resumed eating which allowed Billy to see a few scars lining its body and the fur couldn't cover said scars.
"You must have been hurt by people, huh?" Billy asked while the wolf ate. Billy stood up and slowly got closer to the wolf. "I can understand if you don't want to be around people."
Billy was interrupted when his stomach made a rumble noise, and the wolf seemed to sense Billy's emotions as well as it raised its bloody mouth before giving Billy another stare. This time however, the wolf not only went back down to its kill, but with its powerful front paws and mouth it ripped off the right and meaty leg of the raptor before tossing it to Billy.
"Thanks. This will feed me and my friend for a while…Your welcome to join us if you want." Billy said before he picked up the hefty leg and started making his way back to Shanna while hearing heavy footsteps behind him along with the sounds of something dragging on the ground.
To say that Shanna was surprised by Billy's new follower would be an understatement, but after a lot of convincing on both sides. Billy managed to form a small team of himself, a Direwolf eating behind a tree and Shanna who built the campfire and placed the flesh of the raptor onto wooden spears to roast them in the fire's flames.

[You have gained a Direwolf companion!]
"I guess you'll need a name if you're going to be travelling with us…So, how do you feel about the name Ghost?" Billy asked the wolf who didn't seem to care. "Ghost it is."
The next morning.
Walking towards the city was necessary if a bit difficult but riding on the back of a Direwolf made the trip a lot more awesome. Ghost allowed Billy and Shanna onto his back as he ran through the fields towards the city in the distance while kicking up dust behind him.
Shanna hung onto Billy while he clung to his companion's fur as the wind slapped them in the face as the wolf ran. However, they were quickly stopped when Ghost abruptly stopped running as multiple arrows struck the ground in front of them, causing Ghost to growl and snarl.
"What the fuck. You weren't kidding. Lizardmen are real." Billy said in amazement as they were not only in a swampy part of land, but they saw the Lizardmen rise out of the deep mud with various weapons at the ready and they eerily reminded Billy of the Argonian's from Oblivion and Skyrim. Some had dorsal fins while others had horns. They are wearing armor and wield weapons fashioned from a mix of what looked like bone and insect parts.
"Halt smooth-kin. What business has you stampeding through Shell-Claw territory?" The leader of the Lizardmen said as he stepped close to Ghost and stood tall with dark green scales and blue eyes with a large dorsal fin on his head from his forehead down to the back of his neck. Lastly his armor was extremely spiky and tough looking since it is a dark coal black and made from hardened bone and insect exoskeletons that covered his strong from except for his webbed feet, head and claws as he also has a large Warhammer strapped to his back that was made of the same material as his armor.
"Were trying to make our way to Lemura and probably warn them about the crazy strong magic user that is plotting to take over the Savage Lands." Billy replied bluntly.
"We know of the caster you speak of. We sent a scouting party that way, but they've never returned. My name is Mar-Shala. Chief warrior of our tribe."
"It is nice to meet you Mar-Shala. Your scouting party freed me from the magic user at the cost of their lives. This belongs to you and your tribe." Shanna said after getting off Ghost and handed the chief warrior her sword that she had gotten as he looked at it with a sigh.
"The sword that belonged to Ore-Tooth. Fool loved the forge more than battle." Mar-Shala said before looking up at Billy. "The road from here is filled with danger. Not just from the beasts, but from an arcane storm that will come in a matter of hours. You are welcome to stay with us to wait out the storm in the meantime."
"Arcane storm?" Billy asked in confusion.
"For the past four moons, the magic of the lands has turned vile and new disasters have been unfolding. The Arcane Storm is a storm powered by dark magic that drives the beasts mad and strikes the ground with bolts of magic lightning." Mar-Shala explained.
"What do you think?" Billy asked his wolf and Shanna.
"Resting here would be best. Lizardmen are tough warriors and are more honorable than most tribes." Shanna explained while Ghost let out a low snarl, which told Billy that Ghost didn't want to travel in such a storm.
"Alright. We'll rest up with you guys for a while." Billy said with a smile before Mar-Shala and the group of Lizardmen walked the trio to their large tribal camp and it made Billy think about an extremely smaller camp of Dothraki from Game of Thrones.

"Thanks for letting me do this." Billy said to Mar-Shala who showed him to the training ring where the Lizardmen train against each other in battle. But with wooden weapons and no armor.
"Think nothing of it. But I must ask, how are you not a warrior?"
"That is a story that I can't tell because I don't know. So, let's start weapons training." Billy said before grabbing a wooden club as he jumped into the ring and started training himself against the other novice warriors.
[Your [One-Handed Weapon Mastery] skill has leveled up! Level: 10-11!]
[You have leveled up! Level: 1-2! Select which attribute you wish to enhance.

The world around Billy seemed to freeze as he saw the level up screen appear and he decided to upgrade his stamina.
[Your SP/Stamina has increased to 125/125!]
[You have gained the [Novice Fighter] perk!]
[Novice Fighter, Rank (1/2)
You have trained as a simple fighter with one-handed weapons and now all one-handed weapons deal 10% more damage and power attacks cost 5% less SP to use.]
Billy smiled at how he finally leveled up and gotten stronger before the arcane storm hit and the storm was slightly terrifying. The sky scattered with thunderous booms and crackles of thunder and lightning that struck the ground.
Ghost couldn't stop howling and animals in the distance screamed out as well all while the Lizardmen along with Billy and Shanna remained in their various tents to simply wait out the storm.
6th of April/2013
Savage Lands/Shell-Claw Territory
"Wait…You have deals and partnerships with other Lizard-kin tribes, but your still at war with them?" Billy asked Mar-Shala during what would be considered a meeting for the leaders of the tribe. Mar-Shala was the chief warrior which granted him the position of leader while the other Lizard-kin present were hunters, providers and the like.
Billy was invited as a guest since they assumed that he was in charge of the trio of himself, Ghost and Shanna…Billy smiled at Shanna's annoyance when he didn't correct them and instead went along with it.
"We trade goods, but nothing valuable or important aside from survival supplies. After the last great tribe war, our tribes have been estranged and finding common ground has been troublesome. We need someone to speak with the other tribe leaders in hopes of creating an alliance to combat this powerful dark magic that is attacking the land. The magic user you informed me about is the cause and he needs to be dealt with." Mar-Shala explained in a serious tone of voice before the Lizard-kin leader of hunting spoke.
"That magic user projected a vision of himself several days ago. He, spoke of taking over the lands for himself and that he will slaughter tribes one by one until all tribes' surrender."
"So, where do I come into this situation? You didn't invite me just to let me hear all of this." Billy said while Mar-Shala nodded his head.
"You speak the truth. You're an outsider, but throughout Lizard-kin history, outsiders have often helped improve relationships between the clans and I wish for you to be our messenger and help unite the tribes."
"Is there a timeframe were looking at?" Billy asked with a shrug of his shoulders before the Lizard-kin of silks spoke.
"Ten days."
"That isn't a lot of time. Why are you just now trying to unite?" Billy asked while Mar-Shala seemed to be saddened at the question.
"We've been trying to unite for several moons, but all our messengers keep getting attacked. A golden rule in the tribes is that an Outsider with a chief's official seal is at least guaranteed to speak with other leaders. Which is why I am asking you to aid us."
"Alright. I'll help." Billy said easily enough, which managed to catch the Lizard-kin off guard.
"Just like that?" Mar-Shala asked while Billy nodded his head.
"Yup. That wizard dude is my ticket to the outside world and despite how cool the Savage Lands are. I miss fast food." Billy said while the Lizard-kin all looked at him with confusion.
"Fast…Food?" The Lizard-kin of teaching asked with a tilted head.
"Forget I said anything. Just give me a map and point me in the right direction so I can speak with the other tribes." Billy said boldly.
"Very well." Mar-Shala agreed before the meeting adjourned and afterwards, Billy was given the seal of a claw shaped shell that hung from his loin cloth while he had been given a leather belt around his waist which holstered his newly attained wooden club. Shanna held the map while they sat on Ghosts back before the Direwolf charged ahead with Shanna's directions as they headed towards the closet Lizard-kin tribe.
Wusah POV
Being one of the Lizard-kin blessed with magic was always considered to be something to be proud of within the Spade-Tail tribe. But it seemed that magic alone wasn't enough to stop the attack that the tribe endured.
Wusah was a rare breed among her tribe. She was an albino. Her eyes crimson and her body white with weak scales. But in exchange, the Gods granted her talent with magic. Her mystical abilities are what helped keep her alive compared to the rest of her tribe as she attacked the monsters in front of her with her druidic power over nature.
Thick vines burst from the ground and impaled the strange floating demon that hovered above the corpses of her tribesmen. The monster was a gigantic eye with fleshy tentacles emerging from around its body. The monster used a single tentacle to destroy the vines as well as release a beam on condensed flames from its single eye at Wusah who barely evaded the blast as her tail was now scorched, making her wince in pain.
Her magical power was exhausted as the giant eye floated in front of her and prepared to erase her from existence. But luck seemed to be on her side this day as the monster was suddenly attacked from behind by some form of lightning that barely harmed it but caused it to ignore her and turn around to see the attacker who was another member of the Fall People.
A tribe she vaguely knew of, but she was thankful for the rescue none the less as the magic user was on the back of a Direwolf and had a female companion with him as they got off their mount and prepared for battle. The magic user had his hands shrouded with sparks while the female was wielding a spear that looked to be from the Shell-Claw tribe based on the craftsmanship.
"I hope your ready for some next level Lazic surgery, you Beholder looking bastard!" The man shouted and caused Wusah to question if he had gone mad or not.
Billy POV!
"This isn't how I expected my first real fight in this place to happen, but beggars can't be choosers." Billy said with a smile before he blasted the monster in the eye with his Sparks spell which promptly pissed off the monster as it released a beam of flames from its eye towards the trio that quickly scattered out of the way.
"Stop messing around and take this seriously." Shanna scolded while Billy never lost his smirk before he blasted the monster again.
Ghost jumped up high and bite down hard on one of the monsters' tentacles which made the monster flail its appendage in agony as purple blood coated the outside of the Direwolves mouth.
"Shanna, get underneath it and create an opening. I've got a crazy idea." Billy said while Shanna didn't argue and charged under the monster while evading its swiping attacks while Ghost had been dropped to the ground but landed on his feet with the monster losing one of its tentacles as Ghost released it from his maw and let it simply flop onto the ground while he snarled viciously at the monster.
Shanna quickly found herself underneath the monster and with a jump she thrust her spear into the monster's undercarriage before thrusting downwards, ripping a sizeable hole in the creature as it released some bizarre sound of pain as blood erupted from the wound along with small pieces of some fleshy organs before the creature knocked Ghost and Shanna back with a wide sweep of its tentacles.
"That was your last mistake, asshole!" Billy shouted as he now stood underneath the monster, showing that he moved quickly when the monster wasn't looking. Billy thrust his hands upwards and sent his sparks spell into the opened wound underneath the monster and managed to deal critical internal damage to the monster.
The outside of it was resistant to magic, but its organs weren't as the monster's body started to bubble as if it suddenly got pimples while Billy kept shocking it. The bubbles got larger and large until the monster finally popped like a fleshy balloon and exploded everywhere, leaving a lot of purple blood covering everyone and parts of the swampy ground along with a few organs and organ fragments scattered around.

"Man, that was crazy. I didn't think the thing would actually explode." Billy said with a chuckle while scratching the back of his head.
"Are you insane!" Shanna shouted in anger as she stomped her way over to Billy. "You could have gotten yourself killed and worse is that you've damaged the damn environment and ecosystem with monster gore!"
"Sorry, but I played a hunch. That thing was tough on the outside, but its insides were made of butter in terms of stability, so I figured that if you made an opening, I could slide in and kill the thing." Billy said before glancing over at Ghost who started nibbling on one of the severed tentacles. "Anyway, Ghost is cool with it."
"You are impossible!" Shanna shouted in anger while Billy kept up his carefree smile before turning towards the last standing Lizard-kin in the area.
"Hello. Sorry about the explosion thing. But would you happen to be the chief of the Spade-Tail tribe?" Billy asked the Lizard-kin who walked up to them and Billy noticed that she was splattered in blood and wore some tribalistic necklaces and bracelets along with a simple fur cloak made from a tiger's hide as the mouth of the tiger covered her head while the rest of it covered her back except for her burned tail.
"I'm the last surviving member. My name is Wusah and you have my thanks for killing that demon." Wusah explained before Billy and Shanna looked at just how many corpses and ruined tents were around them.
"Were so sorry for your loss." Shanna said while Wusah lowered her head.
"You wear a tribe seal. So, you wish to speak about something involving the tribes." Wusah said as she looked at Billy and the seal attached to his loin cloth.
"Yeah, but I think you can already guess about what we came here to discuss." Billy said in a serious voice before he started talking about the plan to unite all the tribes together.
END!
A/N: Okay another chapter done, and the game Elder Scrolls Oblivion had a cool class system that I will be taking inspiration from along with some inspiration from mods and what not.
Also, this story is taking place in the MCU which is something cool. So, stay tuned for the next exciting chapter and yes…I'm adding in a bit of DnD stuff to help the story along and give our boy some character levels.
Remember to fav, follow and review.
