Hello everyone. Sorry for disappearing, I had a lot going on in my family life. After so long I am back to my hobbies and this is number one on my list. I hope all of you are doing well. Thank you so much for still being here and reading the story. I can't wait for your reaction for the next chapter I am currently working on.

Only the crew left to keep the cruise moving were aware of the fast movements of the water crashing against the cruise slowly continuing its way through the endless water. For the rest, the sound was blocked off by the thick wall of their beautiful rooms that was especially designed to block any sounds. The clock pointing out the few hours left before sunrise, the staff working to clean up all the mess left from last night were the only ones to notice it. The double pay they get for the night shifts has made it a bit tolerable to be picking up after the rich kids that, unlike expected, haven't trashed the swimming pool that would have required more work. Everything else, even some of the broken chairs had replacements that would be out and arranged perfectly before the first guest even woke up. Not a single guest awake to see all the work being done, most wouldn't expect the first person to wake up to be the one in the most luxurious room.

The blanket thrown away from her body would be pulled in the same direction, to the corner she expected to lock herself in but wouldn't be able to. The edge of the bed she dragged her body too, she would slip and fall at the corner. That wasn't supposed to happen. Her head banging against the bedside table behind her, Jandi's wide awake eyes were quickly ordered to adjust to the darkness of the room and figure out where she was. Her arms wrapped around her legs, which she pulled up to her chest, her shaking body would reach another level of anxiety as the room she was in didn't feel like her home. Danger. Danger. The smell, the softness of the blanket her hands had touched, even the furniture she had forced her back against had felt different. Her heavy breathing, her body ready to attack or be attacked had focused on one task as her eyes scan the room. Where was she?

" ." Her quick breathing was no match to her fast heartbeat that was pumping all the blood she would need in case she had to do whatever to save herself from whatever she had gotten herself into. Her bravery that masks all the fear every inch of her body was processing, there was no need to fight as her eyes concluded wherever she was safe. Nobody in the room, that was the first task of her eyes that were still looking around. There was no dangerous stranger around. Actually there was no one around. Nobody but her in the big room and she was quickly reminded of why she was in the luxury room as she continued taking the needed breaths to calm herself. Her shaking arms still wrapped around her knees, pressed against her rapidly beating chest, her eyes would turn to the glass wall in front. The small body hidden at the corner by the bedside table, her eyes weren't used to such a sight as she was forced to zoom in on the reflection of herself. Her tiny frame hidden, her eyes couldn't help but take note of the pathetic state of her frightened body she had minimized to the corner.

The thick glass of the window darkened by the automatic sensor, the reflection of the room she was in was as clear as it gets as her frightened eyes take a few more seconds to reassure her that she was in the room Jihoo had booked for her, which she had double locked before she went to sleep. She was safe. She was okay. The assurance would take a few minutes before it started calming her disturbed breathing. Her eyes, now allowed to blink, would stay on her own reflection as her right hand would leave her knee to grab the necklace she always hides behind whatever she wears. The small charm in the middle, her shaking right hand would hold it for dear life as her mind quickly recalls the nightmare that had woken her peacefully sleeping body so suddenly. The hallucination that still felt real, it was quick as it returned.

" Hey kid you can't be in here" the loud sounds of the men chasing her, at least this time around they weren't faceless. The white gowns they were wearing, if not for that, the hospital hallway they were chasing her in, was the only clue she needed to know where she was and why her memories of it were as vivid as it could be. The lovely smell and soft fabric of the blanket she was under, it was baffling why it had sent her back to one of the worst days of her life. The fingers of her right hand squeezing the charm of her necklace tighter; she closed her eyes that needed a few seconds to try and get the images that were still clouding her consciousness out of her mind. Her tightly shut lips she would now open; it was also now when she recognized the taste of her own blood that had filled her mouth. The blood she would swallow along with the oxygen she was inhaling for dear life, just the thought of blood had helped the clear memories she was trying to get rid of to take over again.

Blinking at her own reflection, her frightened body was brought back into the hospital hallway. Transported back in time, her eyes frozen with fear were slow as they looked down to her tiny hands that were covered in the thick blood that had covered not just her hands but the dress she had on. The dress her mom had forced her to wear as they rushed out of the house. The dresses she hated wearing as a kid, this one was the worst. The light pink dress covered with flowers, only she would recognize it even when covered with blood and ripped apart to pieces. Her own blood decorating the dress that was barely hanging over her body: her memory would go further as it recalls the day her mom had bought it for her from the street market that was selling them for 75% off. Her photographic memory that would become one of her best tools, even back then it was excellent as it paints the perfect picture of the crowded open market her mom had dragged her to in the middle of Winter. Her mom that used to claim it was smart to buy clothes off seasons, Jandi didn't need to ask why they were buying summer dresses on the coldest day of the year. Her mom's bargaining gets louder and louder as the construction site behind them starts its loud noises. It was a faded memory, but she recalls glancing up to the construction notice sign at all the stores she used to enjoy visiting. The notice that had decorated the whole market, the logo she would recognize anywhere was saved in the back of her memory. What wasn't saved was the vendor's broken voice sharing with them why he was selling everything and moving.

But even the sweet memory of that day wouldn't be able to turn her focus from the now blood covered dress her eyes would look up from. Her head turned back, the two men in hospital gowns still chasing her down the hallway were getting closer. Their big steps felt like mini earthquakes, shaking the ground she was running on, the only thing she could do was run away. Why? Nobody knows but her body that was having a panic episode was only set on just running away. That was until she would turn to where she was running to when a set of arms lifted her tiny body up from the floor that had kept her grounded. Before her frantic body trying to get away from the man's grip had even gotten a strong hold of his arm she was getting ready to bite, she would feel the sharp end of the needle that was pierced through her arm.

The rapid beating of her heart that would calm down as a result of whatever they had introduced to her bloodstream, it would take a few minutes before she completely lost consciousness. Her tiny teeth she had forced into the arm of the hospital security holding her whole body in his arm, the two nurses by his side were helping as they held her leg that was kicking to free themselves and continue running. The two men she was running away from, her eyes would turn to find out how they have become scribbled siluets as her view starts getting dizzy.

" I told you to keep her in the emergency room"

" I did. She must have escaped"

" Who is she?"

All the voices mixing together to create one background sound, her consciousness she was losing slowly had made sure to record all of it so it could become a memory that would haunt her whenever it wanted to.

" It's the girl from the accident."

" Oh the accident on the news?"

" Yes.
" Oh, I thought everybody in the car was pronounced dead. "

" All the adults were, she survived. Can you please pay attention? I told you to keep her sedated and on the bed"

" She has to stay on that bed until child and family services send a case worker to figure out what we need to do."

" Shouldn't we tell her what happened?"

" Wait until family services get here and let them figure out everything."

" Shouldn't we inform her family members"

" The police said they were checking the family records to find somebody to contact. Family services take care of that. If there is no family member, it's an adoption center or the orphanage. Now can you make sure she stays on the bed until they get here."

" You know, they were saying the accident looks suspicious but who would want to do that to some poor laundry workers"

" Why would it look suspicious? The police report is already done and they said its an accident"

" How is the police report done already? The bodies aren't even

" Can you just focus on your job?"

The voices going in and out weren't necessary for her child mind that was already in shock to accept what had happened. None of it felt real. Everything since she heard the loud bang against the car she was sitting in the back of; everything else since that moment had felt unreal. As though her consciousness was out of her body and frozen in time, not even the endless cuts across her body from the shattered glass they had pulled her body from. Not even the large cut at the side of her stomach, which not even the nurses had noticed since they didn't even bother to undress the child they were ready to presume was also dead, was processed by her mind that had stopped processing any and every pain. The loud sounds of the machines they would plug her to, none of it had felt real as her blood and tear filled eyes scan around the adults swarming her. All she saw were scary faces hidden behind surgical masks. The words they were shouting at her not reaching her ears that had stopped working since the loud bang; her body ordered to fight the strangers would do so until they forced her body to lose all its power. Thinking they had time, that was where they left her sedated body while they rushed to other emergencies.

The trance-like state she was in, it would only take a single memory of the loud bang for her body to wake up and jump off the emergency bed. The emergency room she would sneak around, it didn't take much to find what she was looking for. The blurred view of the blood covered bodies just laying there, that was her last memory of the day before she lost consciousness seconds later. Almost a decade later, sitting at the foot of the bed, her body was still fragile and easily weakened even by the mere thought of that day as it had forced her to shrink even smaller at the corner of the bed. The lonely tears begging to escape her eyes, her tongue would be tortured to help keep them caged. She can't let them fall. She had to do whatever to keep them imprisoned. That was the only way she had learned to survive and stay sane. Letting even a tiny bit of the agony reach the surface was unacceptable as it would only open the flood gates to the dark voices that could whisper for her to end it all. The fight against her own pain, the energy it requires was too much as it weakened her body that was already too exhausted.

The memory still ruling over all her thoughts, even the shower she decided to take couldn't help ease any of the anxiety that had kept her body from functioning properly. How she had dragged her body to the shower, she wouldn't be able to recall. All she remembers was how it hurts. It aches to even breathe let alone watch a movie. The water attacking her body sitting at the corner of the shower, the tears fighting to be freed were still caged as she was only left with one other choice to win over them. Too shut down. To completely turn into the robot she was often referred to as. To completely dissociate from it all. That was her only option unless she wanted to unleash what she had always been afraid to even think about.

It was better to just shut down, and by the time she left the bathroom none of the things she was doing was being registered as her mind runs on just doing things that won't be stored in any memory. The sweat pants she put on, the hoodie that would follow it wasn't its match but it didn't matter. Eventhougth she wasn't even remotely concerned about it, Grey sweatpants and black hoodie was a look. The flip flops she slid her feet into, she would return to the bedroom that was scary quiet. Unlike her neighborhood that had some sounds even in the middle of the night; night on the cruise was filled with silence. Pure silence that was beyond scary to be alone. She can't be alone. She couldn't be alone, left with only her dark thoughts inching ever closer to convince her to end it all. Her room she left to find some semblance of another human being, she would find a few staff members that were cleaning the VIP floor her room was on. A short distance away from the rooms, the Lounge area was the perfect place to be around the shadows of those working.

The couch set by the massive window facing the dark water; she found the ideal place and would waste hours sitting by it while watching the dark water that wouldn't take much to start whispering to her. Her eyes stuck on the blurred view of her own reflection amidst the moving water, the clock would move on while her thoughts were thousands of miles away. Every human emotion she had to lock behind her drained heart, there was no tear even available as her thoughts flowed to the nightmare that had terrorized her sleep. The small escape she had hoped she would get on this vacation, who would expect it to be a gateway that would take her to the core of her despair. Her lifeless eyes mindlessly blinking at the moving water, it wouldn't take much before the movement of the water pulls her away from where she was. Her body that would love to sink to the bottom of the endless water, the desire to do so was a charming thought that was planted deeper with every minute she was wasting staring at it.

What would happen if she just jumped into the dark water?

Would it hurt to let the water fill her lungs and float down to the deepest end of the earth?

The movement of the waves that have their own melody, as always, would mimic the sound of the person she would do anything to see and hear from again. Even a whisper. Just a whisper she would beg for and she would be granted as the ocean gives into her deepest desire.

" Do you miss me?" The faint sound was a trigger even for her frozen heart that didn't know what to do with the sting that would take over it. The tight tug at her heart, the pain signals spreading from it were worse as they took over her trembling body that didn't have anybody or anything to hold onto.

" Are you living well?" the voice would ask before the first tear escapes her eyes that had stopped blinking. The salty drops trailing down her face, there was no sound to accompany them. There was no movement either. Her frozen body would stay motionless as the tears rolled down to reach her hoodie.

Past the blurred view of her eyes, the ocean was now able to whisk her away to a foreign place where all the voices she kept in the deepest vaults of her heart were now her companions. The voices that had promised to take her to the ones she misses the most, were louder than ever as they whisper for her to give in. To hear their plea about joining the ones she lost. To a place where she could rest with no worry. Where she could be free from all the pain and anger. If she was wasting her life for them, why not just join them? What does she even have to live for? Apart from the small moments with flickering emotions that would never stick longer than moments, what else was there but despair. What was there to live for?

" Come to me" the voice of the moving water fading away would whisphere as it had somehow become in charge of the tug at her heart it was physically pulling towards it. But even when worn out, the little fire burning inside would win as the quest for revenge silences all other voices. The desire to spill the blood of those that had taken so much from her was still greater than the wish to stop living. A reminder of the only reason she was still living for. That was when she was brought back to reality. Where she was. What she was doing. All of it had come back to her now. Whatever had helped snap her back to reality, she wasn't sure why it had waited until then. Her tears were made aware that all of a sudden, the trail they had left over her face would be wiped aggressively with the sleeves of her hoodie she covered her shaking hands with.

Why was this happening?

Why today of all days?

The emotions she keeps caged, she was the only one aware of what could happen if they take over. Year after year, she had masked all of it behind anger and rage. Wrapped up in her own misery, she had forgotten about all the other emotions that lie right underneath her subconsciousness and could easily make her lose the control she thinks she has. The softest mattress, that felt like a cloud, that had helped her dreams to float away to something that would ruin her for days; if she was smart she would recognize this was just the first sign of her tired heart that was reaching a point of no return.

The blinking of her eyes increased, even when she disassociated from reality her calculating mind was quick to bring up the last time she lost control of her emotions. And the one before it. One instigated with rage the other with shock; she would have to get better at lying to herself to not accept what was the common thread. The rage burning her skin before she struck that boy with the chair, her senseless body was reminded of the arms that had wrapped around her to save her from adding one more soul to the ones she had sent to hell. The same arms that were wrapped around her when her body had gone into shock seconds before her tears would take over. The discomforthing thought, her mind would be left in a daze as her eyes finally leave the water and turn right to find the person sitting at the other end of the couch.

Her eyes slowly blinking needed minutes to question if this was real or if her hallucinations are getting good at imaging people. Her neck that had slowly turned only her head his way, she was ready to doubt her vision of the person whose face she didn't need to see to know who it was. The long hair covering the left profile of his face in her view and the cigarette he was blowing were enough. If not those, the all black look she scanned was it. His crossed long legs, the slouched way he sits... her observation would be pulled back to his face as his left hand brings his cigarette to his lips. It was him. It definitely was him but was he really sitting there or had she finally lost her mind? Her eyes would blink as they prepared for an answer as his face turned her way.

His left hand moving away from his lips would be sent to brush away his hair as he slowly turned her way. Those eyes she chooses to perceive as mischievous, the way they look at her was the only proof she needed to realize this was real. He really was sitting there. The white smoke he would blow out clouding her view of him, her mind that was in its own world had forgotten about what she was doing as her eyes zoomed in on his moving lips and the smoke he was blowing.

" You didn't hear me when I said hi so I just" his words weren't registering as her eyes slowly rose to observe the rest of his face. His moving jaw most claim should get him a modeling contract, her eyes would be distracted away from it as they trail down his neck. Quickly, her head would slowly turn all her attention back to the water. The water that has had her whole attention, it was odd how it didn't look as dark or as intimidating as before. Those two things were given to the only person in the Lounge area with her. Crazy how, now was also when she was made aware of his scent that was diluted with the champagne that had rained over his hair last night. The cigarette added to the strong alcohol smell, she really must have been lost in her own world not to recognize his presence.

" You seemed lost in your thoughts." His raspy voice would drag her eyes back to him. The cigarette she saw him place in between his lips, her body that had shut down for hours wasn't able to recognize the permission the anger hidden behind was asking to take over as her eyes, without a command, scan his neck again before returning back to the water. The oxygen she had been breathing, now she was made aware of how it needed to match the high demand of the blood that was starting to flow to every inch of her body that was frozen still for hours.

" Are you okay? " This question would get a response as he notices the tiny smirk at the corner of her lips. The blue shadow of the moon on her face, how pale she had looked, had added to her eyes that would sharpen their gaze as her fingers assumed the position into a fist. The night wind attacking her face would be blamed for her hair flying as she kept her focus on him. The sight he had wasted all day thinking about, somehow it didn't feel good to witness it now. Like a robot, he had witnessed her sitting there staring at the water looking like she wasn't even breathing. His choice not to disturb her peace and just sit by her side, it wasn't even surprising how just sitting by her side was able to calm his anxiety that had dragged him out of the bed he had to crawl away from. Her silence he was never bothered by, somehow it felt different when she stares at him like this. What could she be thinking about? There was nothing he wouldn't do to get the answer to that question. By now, it was already starting to bother him how much he didn't know much about the girl who was harder to figure out than all the puzzles his grandpa used to make him play. Her confusing behavior, a new one was added as he had caught her sitting there staring at the darkness.

" Why are you here?" She broke the silence, letting her voice become his next clue about something being off about her.

" I couldn't sleep" His response was fast as he blew the white smoke away. Her eyes that hadn't left him, even when they looked soulless, he adored staring at them. How could he not?

It was also better to focus on them than staring at her whole face that could get his intoxicated mind to want to do something he was not allowed to even think about. Of all the things he had sat there imagining he could do if he was allowed to, it was odd how the embrace he would have loved to give her to keep her warm was changed to completely something else the moment her eyes started staring at him in that way they do. There were other ways to keep her warm and he knows the alcohol still mixed in with his blood wouldn't be to blame for his thoughts that could run wild. It would be the pills. They were to blame for the crazy night he doesn't remember too. His heart that woke him up by forcing him to recognize the piercing pain it was feeling, all he recalled was his eyes waking up to the number of people in the bed he jumped away from. His knees hitting the carpet under the bed, his hands would be sent to the piercing pain at his chest while his legs crawl away from the bed. The room that would slowly start closing in, he doesn't even recall how he had dragged himself out of the room. His zigzagged steps in the hallway, it would take a staff member to even lead him to a bathroom. His naked chest he recalls holding to calm his rapid heartbeat, he wasn't even sure if the staff member had also gotten him the pants and shoes or just the hoodie that had the cruise mark on it. The dehydrated feeling that was worse than his fast beating heart, it was odd how the emotion that would take over him the moment he fully woke up was guilt. The cause of it he would find as he chose to stay up and walk to the lounge to find the person that has had all his thoughts. If he was forced to be honest, he would easily confess the tight hug he had been thinking about wasn't to keep her warm as much as it was to remind him what it felt like to feel another human's warmth. Her embrace he would do anything to get, he had wasted the time he had sat next to her realizing there wouldn't be no turning back from that.

" Something is bothering you isn't it?" he asked a few seconds later as he tried to look for it but couldn't find any reaction let alone a response to his questions. The only thing moving was the wind that was brushing both their hair to the right. The cold air that had now reached his skin, his body was made aware of the coldness of the night. And at that moment his eyes did a quick scan of her to conclude she wasn't wearing enough layers to be sitting out here. Does she ever get cold? The question of his would lead him to another one. Why does she always wear baggy clothes? Lost in his thoughts, Junpyo wasn't ready for what was to come as Jandi started speaking while keeping her eyes on the water.

" Do you remember when your friend made me sit by his feet and peel his apple?" Jandi's calm voice would reach his eager ears that would have done anything to hear her talk about anything. The soft tone of her voice was able to quickly drift their memories back to the room she was talking about. Even Though as soft as they could be, her words were scarier and caused more damage than any amount of yelling she could have shape of her eyes that had started to shift, even the color of her face was shifting as a warmer tone of red stars coloring her face.

" He even made me hold the ashtray on my head while he smoked." His eyes glued on her had caught the small smirk that escaped her lips.

" You were sitting there, at the corner, watching him do that" the crack of her voice, neither that nor the distant look in her eyes was able to mask what she really felt about that day as the needle she was holding at his chest pierced deeper than ever. His right hand sent to his hair would do what it could to brush all his hair away while his left would bring the cigarette to his lips.

" Watching him humiliate me" her words cutting through his skin, she had decided that wasn't enough as her eyes finally started lighting the fire they were known for. The honey brown color of her eyes he adores, unlucky for her this boy had stared at them long enough to notice the cloudy vision of theirs she was trying to hide. What her anger masks, who would have thought could instantly cause the soreness all over his body that was already worn out..

" Did you care about what was bothering me back then? Hidden behind the long sleeves of the hoodie she had on her hands were the first to wake up from the daze her body was in. Her eyes slowly turned back to the water, it was better to keep them on the horizon. Right when the water meets the sky and where the faded orange color of the sun rays would come from soon.

" Or you care now because you want something from me'

" I don't want anything from you" his low whisper, the defeated tone of his voice was matched with the look in his eyes. His shaking hands sent to his head had found the perfect hiding place as they buried themselves in his thick hair. The room he had run away from , maybe it would have been a better idea to have stayed in there, locked in with his anxiety that was still lingering around and now has started itching.

" We all want something" her response came with a smirk. The ocean that had kept her company till had most of her attention as it helps her stay motionless despite the harsh memory she has brought up. Was it humiliating? The word she never used, it was a new emotion to feel compared to how she used to claim she never cared. It was all a means to a gain.

" What do you want then?" his whole attention turned her way, he asked. The look in his eyes that had shifted with the tone of his question, it would take only a second of staring into those eyes to force her to only be aware of him and nothing else around them. Not even her breathing was she aware of as she recognizes the sudden shift. Somehow he doesn't look as fierce as he usually does, nor does he look as shadows that had appeared were now highlighting the dark circles under his eyes along with the pale tone of his skin that somehow looks almost sickly. His disheveled cloth, now was when she really took note of his shaking hands he would fold to hide away from her view. But it was no use as his left leg moving at a rhythm was noted. Something was wrong with him, at least that was clear enough for her to recognize and the second she did the fire fueled voice would take charge to remind her what she wasn't allowed to do. Not even a second wasted to let the human side of her feel what the sight before her was causing, her body was instantly commanded to let the voice lead. That was what she knew best anyway.

" I want you to disappear." she stated her wish as her shrap eyes glued to him waited for a reaction. A reaction filled with anger was what she expected but that wasn't what she got as the voice that was supposed to help her out of the mess it caused disappeared from her side at the sight of his murky eyes that wouldn't even blink as they start getting filled with the salted water they haven't felt in years. The dark iris of his eyes that now look diluted with water, Jandi had no choice but to follow them to the depth of what she had caused instantly. Every blink of his pulling her closer to his body it was odd how it felt like she was sitting right next to him. Right by his side, close enough to feel the warmth of his body she had turned cold.

" Would that really make you happy?" his raspy voice reaching the softest tone she has heard it in, he asked. Her off-track eyes forced to stay on his face, which if not for her mind playing tricks on her looked hurt, Jandi would swallow the air she breathed in along with the answer she didn't have for his question. His mournful eyes, it was easy to recognize the look as one that mimics a puppy; a tortured puppy that could pull the strings of any beating heart. And it had done so as even the emotionless girl that had wasted the night sitting like a robot fell prey to it. The odd feeling she wouldn't know what to do with, every second was making it worse as she just sits there and stares right back at him. Watching him in silence as he takes a deep breath before turning his doleful eyes back her way.

" I can do that for you" the half smile he gave her would be caught in slow motion as Jandi's whole attention would pause at the way he had whispered the words. His hair he kept brushing as he sighed, Jandi's eyes would ask for one more view of his face she couldn't decode as she was used to. Thankfully she would be granted her wish as he turned her way. Her confused eyes following him as he stood up, she wasn't sure why she was bothered by what was going on as she followed his shaking hands he would place behind him. As though he was a criminal found guilty and had just received his punishment, he would hold his neck down as he started taking slow steps away from her while still facing her.

" I really just wanted to get to know you" that raspy voice with the soft tone was too much even for the coldest of hearts to hear.

" and maybe let you get to know me. That's it." his shaking voice was adding to her delima as his eyes that were sneaking a glance her way were making everything worse with every glance. Her thumb that started scratching at her skin, it was all thanks to the downhearted smile of his she would get a sneak off before he turned around. What the water filled eye of his was able to do was new as she sits in silence while he turns his back her way and starts walking away. Both his hands sent to his head he was squeezing, she wasn't sure why every step of his was forcing her to be alarmed by the distance between them. She doesn't care! Biting her teeth, she would force her attention back to the water. The nail of her thumb digging deeper, the right one would draw blood as she forced her eyes to stay on the water and not glance at the subject they wanted to follow to make sure ... to make sure if he was okay?

Why should she care?

Why would he be hurt by what she said? ...but he did look hurt.

The questions she was battling with would be paused as she heard a loud bang and turned her eyes to the direction of the sound. At the right corner of the lounge, she would notice the door that was left open. The cold air gushing in, her eyes would follow the light of the balcony as the tall figure took more steps towards the rail that wasn't further away. Her eyes that would follow his every step, even from this far it was easy to recognize the bazaar walk of his. Her zoomed in eyes lifting away from his legs would rest on his right hand that was placed on his chest while his left tapped at his head. His hands would leave his body once he got to the rail. Even her thumb scratching would pause as she watched his shaking hands help him up the rail he would climb easily. The black figure standing on the last metal rod would be gone in a second as her ears pick on the loud splash seconds later.

What just happened? Her eyes would fail to even blink and let the second pass. Frozen in time, Jandi needed seconds to realize what had just happened. Her eyes staring at the empty balcony and the rail she had seen him climb before disappearing out of view, her eyes would keep sending the message to her frozen brain again and again.

Did he just? The question wasn't fully formed as her body jumped away from the couch and started rushing to the open door. Her frozen legs that had sat crossed for hours, the pain signal they were sending wasn't recognized as they were forced to increase her speed to the limit. The rush taking over was new as it requires her heart to fuel her body that would need as much blood as possible as she runs past the door at maximum speed. The freezing air she was welcomed by, neither that nor the slippery balcony was able to slow down her quick steps to the rail. The only thought crossing her mind, her hands would grasp the cold rail she saw him climb. Her eyes swiftly looking down would find the beautiful waves of the dark water she had been staring at for hours. Her fastned breaths, it was instant as the slipper she had on would be left behind while her legs got hold of the rail she would climb before throwing herself off the last one. One deep breath in and her whole body would leave the real as it aims for the darkness below. Her perfectly angled hands that would help break the impact of the cold water waiting for her, the last thing she would witness in the light would be the red lights of the cruise guard that was turned on by one of the staff members that had seen her Jump off.

The freezing water that straight away crossed the boundary of her cloth to reach her skin was aiding her body that was trained to handle any pain and just focus on her task. Her hands pushing the water away from her as her body sinks deeper, it was the task of her eyes to find any clue. The cold oxygen that had filled her lungs, she was aware of exactly how many seconds she had before she ran out but that wasn't her worry as her trained body utilizes her amazing swimming skills to sink deeper. Her frantic heartbeat that she blamed on the swimming; she knew that wasn't the cause but the body she was looking for but couldn't find. Every millisecond making the difference between death and life, it was odd how she would shut her mind from even hypothesizing that this could be the end for the boy she had claimed she would love to kill.

The sudden bright light above, the light hitting the water coming to her aid as she focuses all her attention. The frightening speed of her eyes looking around, the first sign of her anxiety would hit as her lungs tight up signaling the lack of oxygen.

" I can do that for you" his raspy voice would echo through the water around her.

" Would that really make you happy" this one would cause the first sting across her freezing cold body that would be ordered to shut in order to protect itself. The water she had been fantasizing about being under, it was odd how it was starting to feel scary the moment she recognized how there was nothing but it around her. The warning her lung had started sending, her frantic turns this way and that way weren't helping. Her legs that would need to swim up would intently be commanded to stay there as her eyes scan one more time. Left. Right. There was nothing around her. Right one more time and her eyes would find something floating up. Increasing her speed towards the object she would find the box of the cigarette he loved smoking so much. The wet box squeezed in her left hand she would force herself to dive deeper following the direction of the box. Less than a few strokes away she would find the body floating down.

His long hair spread around his head like a halo, his resting body had looked oddly angelic. Maybe it was the darkness of the water that was only broken by the artificial lights from the cruise, even the color of his skin had looked majestic as his closed eyes for once weren't the central point of his beautiful face. The beat of her heart that would lose its rhythm at the sight would be ordered to use every drop of blood it has to get her to his side as fast as possible. Somehow the warning of her lungs would be silenced as they fuel her body with all the oxygen it would need to increase its speed. The tall body, her aim would be his chest she would wrap her arms around before she starts pulling the body while swimming up. Her right arm wrapped around his upper chest, she would use every energy she had to lift the heavy body that was unconscious.

The small light she could see was her goal, as she tightened her grip at his shoulder that was starting to slip away. Her left hand swimming up, her right would pull him closer to her as she wraps her hand right under his arm to stop him from sliding down. Her only goal being reaching the light, her body that would have easily freaked out wasn't even fully functioning to recognize the closeness of his body that was held against her. Especially his face she was holding against her chest. Every beat of her heart, his right ear could hear if he was conscious, the feeling of his face held against her was something she would recognize hours from now. For now all that mattered was getting his body out of the water. Lucky for her, the alarm was sent to wake up the safeguard team that was being lowered by a boat. The whole cruise was on a stand still as even the captain joined the team at the bottom balcony, waiting to see if the emergency team in the water were successful in their search. Lucky for them they wouldn't have to wait long as they see the bodies come out of the water.

The one person the staff had told them he saw jump , all were shocked to see two and one to be a girl. The girl that seemed to have been the one to save the other, they would all witness as she pushed the body over to the boat before taking the hand of the guard that would help her to join him on the boat. The first deep breath she would take of the cold air, her hands that were eager to shake from the cold weren't even given a chance as they pushed the guy who was doing first aid. His gentle hands slightly pushing down on Junpyo's chest were useless as she crossed her anxious fingers before she used the perfect amount of force necessary to push down on the body that was laying there.

. The rhythm of her push was matched to her rapid breathing as her eyes rested on his face that looked as pale as one could get. The soulless color of skin she has seen before, her hands would leave his chest to come to his neck she would prop before sending her mouth that had taken in a deep breath to give all of its' oxygen to the lifeless body in her hands. The contact of their lips would immediately make her aware of the coldness of his body that was abnormal. Her lips parted away from his, her hands would be intertwined again as she started pushing down on his chest; Now with a bit more force than before. The itching feeling at her skin, the distraught would get a hold of her body as her hands would return to his neck and she would try giving him all the oxygen she had. Her eyes on him, she would slowly raise her body to watch no sign of movement on the body. The image of the sly smile of his she hates so much, the second strike at her heart would ruin the rhythm of her anxious hand that would return to his chest she would use all her force to push down on.

One. two. The trembling fingers of her would open up as they moved to his neck. Her right hand tilting his head back, her left would close his nose as she again attempts supplying his lungs with the oxygen it would need to bring him back to life. Her lips slowly moved away as her right hand moved to the side of his neck to check for any pulse. The ten seconds she had to wait before doing another compressions, her eyes filled with the salty water of the ocean would stay on his motionless face. The softness of his hair she was touching, it was odd how different he looked when it was all washed away from his face. The long lashes of his closed eyes, the beauty marks below the right one, the prominent cheekbones of his that hide the dimples that appear with every smile of his... it would require deep analysis why his face would cause the third sting of the day as the moon disappearing from view lights it up perfectly.

"Come on" her whisper would come as her left hand would move away from his neck as she brought her face to rest on his chest. There was no movement, no breathing. Rather than turning to compressions her hands would return to their position as she brings her lips to his. Her eyes closed, she would focus on her breathing as she gave him all the oxygen she had breathed in. Her lungs emptied out, she would part their lips to bring her head back to his chest. Her right ear placed right by his heart, again she would close her eyes as letting the darkness focused her frantic body from giving into the panic that was around the corner.

"Cough. Cough" the sounds of his cough would alarm her ears as she immediately lifted her head away from his chest. Her hands rushing to his neck, her whole body would be brought closer to him as she helped tilt his head to help him cough out the water. Her right hand holding the side of his neck, while her left stays on his chest, her eyes would move to his chest moving up and down quickly before returning to his face turned to the side. Her off rhythm breathing that would match his, it would take it longer than ever to regulate. Her eyes on the body she needed to make sure was alive and could breathe properly, all her attention was still on him and not on the three men around them, watching carefully.

" Huh" the first deep breath she would take for herself, she would move her left hand away from his chest and send it to her side. Her right hand she was planning to remove from him next, her eyes would return to it when she wasn't able to. What her eyes found was his right hand holding hers hostage against his neck. The pale hand softly holding hers, she couldn't shake the coldness of it. His hand was able to encapsulate her hands against his neck, it was odd how warm it felt the second his fingers started gently moving across her skin. The soft caress of his hand, it was a quiet request to return her hand back to his neck which she didn't protest.

All the coughing done, Jandi's eyes couldn't explain why they had waited in anticipation as the slow movement of his lashes would become her focus as his eyes opened up to be welcomed by hers. The light in his eyes, why his face had a sudden glow was odd. " Hi" the movement of his lips accompanied by the softestes and sensual sounding "hi" she has ever heard, her eyes couldn't help but take note of the small smile that would bring out the adorable right dimple of his that was like an arrow and had hit it's quick movement of her eyes that could be considered a flutter, her right hand would be quickly removed from his side as her body would be ordered to move away as soon as possible. His head thrown on the ground, she would quickly stand up and head away to the other side of the small rescue boat.

" Here" the blanket one of the staff would hand her, she would snatch it as she sat down on the other side of the boat that would start being lifted. Her back to the boy all the staff members had started helping, her eyes would stay on the water as she took deep breaths. The blanket wrapped around her cold body, the shiver it had just felt was blamed on the freezing water they were leaving behind as the boat started being lifted back to the cruise. Her rapid heart beating she would try to hide by wrapping her arms around her, there was no way to hide it from herself as everything that happened since he jumped down from the balcony gets replayed in slow motion. Did that just happen?, the question she would ask again and again, her mind was busy trying to understand what happened even as they were back on the cruise and led to be cared for by the two medical staff on duty.

The medical staff by Junpyo's side; she was okay with ignoring what was going on with the boy they asked to lay down on the bed on the corner. The change of cloth she would be handed by the staff, he would also direct her to the room attached. Without a hesitation, she snatched the cloth and headed to the bathroom. The moment her hands peeled off the wet cloth away from her body was when she finally noticed how cold her body was. Her goal being returning back to her room, she quickly put on the tshirt and the tracksuit with the Cruise Ship logo on. The wet cloth in her hands, she was a bit curious how it had taken them less time than her to undress and dress Junpyo who was now in a different long sleeve shirt. Her eyes as quickly as they noticed the change of cloth would be directed to focus on something else. Returning to the bed the nurse told her to sit on, she would only give a small bow to the staff that would take the wet cloth away from her hands. The nurse returning to her, Jandi was okay with playing along as she gets checked for any injury. She was okay with all of it except being asked to sit there for at least half an hour before heading back to her room. The argument she was going to start with the older nurses wasn't welcomed by the nurse who would leave her to head to the one they needed to attend to.

" Are you on any medication?" the younger nurse preparing the IV bags would ask as Jandi's eyes involuntarily go to Junpyo laying on the bed.

" I think so" his left hand brushing his wet hair away, Junpyo responded.

" What does that mean?" The older nurse giving the younger nurse a sign to pause asked.

" I think I took anxiety meds when I woke up"

" When was that?"

" Maybe an hour ago"

" Anything else?"

" I don't know"

" I can't give you painkillers without knowing what is in your system"

" I drank a lot last night" his glance Jandi's way had gotten the older nurse to also glance at Jandi.

" If you want some privacy I can get her "

" I don't know what I took but probably ecstasy" he cut the nurse as he placed his right hand on his head and closed his eyes. Jandi's eyes that hadn't left him would zoom in on his face. His shaking right hand holding his head, she was finally given an example of the drugs he takes. The effect of the drug he mentioned she was well aware of, she could even guess why he might have taken it.

" You can give him the IV I prepared" the old nurse would start inspecting his head he was holding while the younger started preparing his arm.

The tylenol she was given to take with a bottle of water, Jandi would force her eyes to not even glance at the bed on her right side and to keep her attention on the big window, in front of them. If she had to wait, she had to make sure she kept her attention on the window and window dark sky she had been staring at all night, it was finally time for it to disappear as the sun started coloring the sky. Her body that wasn't given any moment to process what happened would take the time now as it slowly places her back in the water she was thinking about sinking into. The cold water she was floating in, it had felt nothing like she had imagined it would. Her thoughts drifting her away, she would return back to her robot state she would be in longer than one would expect.

" You drifted off again" his soft tone would draw her attention back to the room. Ignoring him, the first thing she took note of was the Iv plugged to his right arm.

" Are you okay?" he would add as Jandi slowly raises her eyes back to him then quickly scans the room. The emergency room they were alone in, her eyes would return back to the window and the sun at the horizon. What is going on with her today? She asked as she sent her hands, that need to hold onto something, to wrap the blanket on her shoulder tighter. Why can't she seem to keep her mind from zoning out today? The question would continue as she recalls the pain killer the nurse had given her for her headache before reminding her to stay in the room for at least an hour just in case. That was, Jandi glanced at the clock on the wall, only 15 minutes ago. Has she sat there, staring at the window in silence for 15 minutes?.

" Where do you go ?" This question would get her full attention to turn his way as Junpyo takes the opportunity to note how the look on her face was the same as the one he saw earlier. Lost.

" I was just thinking" hiding her hands underneath the blanket she responded.

" What were you thinking about ?"

" Why somebody with anxiety and suicidal thoughts would drink and take Ecstasy" the conversation she wanted to direct away from her, she had thought this would be a good one.

" You were thinking about me?" the blink of her eyes had to slow down to take in the smile that appeared on his face as he glanced her way. The dimple on his right side appearing for a second was demanding her attention and had gotten it before her eyes took note of how he had also slightly turned his head her way as he asked. He looks different when he lays down. Or was it the white tshirt and his wet hair as he lay down on the white blanket.

" Ten minutes is a lot of time to drift off thinking about someone you hate, isn't it?" he would add as his smile gets bigger by every second her annoyed looking eyes stay on him.

" What were you thinking about me?" he asked as he turned his head her little movement had only added to her dilemma as his whole face came into view highlighting both adorable dimples.

" There is something seriously wrong with you" her sharpened eyes would find the horizon to be their target as she sent her hands to be hidden by the blanket and to fight with each other.

" I thought you knew that already" his remark wouldn't get any response from the girl who would return back to staring at the window.

" I took them because I was angry and I make bad decisions when am angry"

" What do you have to be angry about?"

" You wouldn't understand" his whisper was only for himself as he gave his eyes the permission they needed to slowly scan the girl that way a short distance away from him. Sitting on top of the bed, covered in the red blanket and watching the sun rise with him. His first night on the cruise and here he was spending it next to her while watching the sun rise? Everything else that happened before this minute would be a headache for later as he lets his eyes wander off. The wet hair sticking to her neck, that wasn't the only reason why she looked as tempting as ever. It was the fact that she had risked her life to save him. Something that would require deep analysis and maybe even the help of his therapist to fully understand. Her desidane for him he has been doubting thanks to her eyes that tell him a different story, his crazy mind was taking the risk it shouldn't as it aids his captured heart's wish for the impossible.

" Were you really thinking about me?" minutes later, he broke the silence.

" Probably not" he verbalized the answer he got from her eyes that turned his way. Even in his wildest fantasies she wouldn't waste ten minutes thinking about him. That was too wild to even imagine possible.

" Why did you save me?" softly, the most important question Jandi has been asking herself would be asked as his eager eyes wait for her response.

" I thought you wanted me gone"

" Did you really want to die?" her razor-sharp eyes followed the question as they turned to him. She might not know much about suicidal people but she knew enough that digging into it right now might not be the best option.

" I don't know." His wandering eyes looking for a sign would quickly find it in her eyes as they decided she was still a safe space for him.

" Sometimes it doesn't sound bad" he whispered as he sent his eyes to the window she had been staring at. His left hand sent to the bedside, he would raise the headrest slightly so he could get a comfortable view of the horizon that was being colored a breathtaking shade of orange and yellow.

" When did you start feeling like that? She asked as her curious eyes turned to him to find his amused ones.

" If you don't mind me asking" she added while turning back to the horizon. Did her question seem intrusive?

" Long time ago"

" Did the incident have anything to do with it?" her follow up question was quick.

" last time you said you get nightmares from it and I .."

" And you, why couldn't you sleep?" he interrupted with his own question. If she wanted answers, she was going to have to answer some of his questions. That was their rule and he was ready to remind her if his eyes weren't doing a good job of telling her why he was asking.

" I had a nightmare" her arms crossed, she quickly moved her eyes to the horizon.

" About what?"

" something that doesn't concern you"

" But my nightmares concern you?"As her eyes , increasing in size, glance his way , his lips pared for a smile.

" I am just trying to understand why you're so destructive" her hands moving under the blanket, Junpyo was reading it as her being uncomfortable about the topic but he would add more to her dilemma as he spoke.

" and I am just trying to understand why you're so angry and maybe who hurt you" his eyes would stay on her even as her startled eyes only stayed on his for a second before turning to the horizon. The clue he was looking for, he would find it in her right hand that was sent to brush her hair and the way her shoulders would slouch down as she started shrinking her body closer.

The silence would return between them for a few minutes.

" It didn't start right after the incident."

" It started years later and it has been getting worse by the day" he would be the one to break the silence as he chose to be the one to share first.

" Doesn't ecstasy make it worse?" her soft question would reach his side before her eyes that glanced his way.

" It does. But it's fun"

" Did you have fun last night?" the way her hands stopped moving, actually everything had stopped moving by the time she finished her question and her eyes waited for an answer. No. Her eyes were demanding an answer.

" Does it look like I had fun?"

" Champagne showers, making out with random girls..."

" I didn't sleep with them" again, he had interrupted her before she finished her long sentence.

" I didn't ask"

" I know. I just wanted you to know" his eyes he couldn't keep on her were moved to his right hand and the Iv plugged into it.

" You can do whatever with whomever."

" I am not doing anything with anyone."

" I don't care" the shift of her voice came with her body she had slightly moved to turn his way.

" Huh," his smile wasn't seen in a positive light by the already annoyed girl who didn't like the way his eyes were looking at her.

" What?" her arms crossed, she asked.

" I don't want to do anything with any of them." his smile still present, he whispered as his eyes that had turned playful wonder why she can't seem to read between the lines. Was she really that dense to not get what he was saying? And why was that making her even more adorable?

" I really don't care."

" I know you don't. I just want you to know."

" I" she held back her own words as she quickly adjusted her seat to face the window. The small smiles of his she could see in her peripheral view, every second of this topic was forcing her fingers to fight against each other.

" I wasn't making out with them either" his eyes eagerly waiting for her reaction, he spoke softly.

" That was Woobin that you saw, in case you were wondering" he would as he noticed the anger in her eyes that were warning him to stop talking.

" I wasn't wondering"

" But you came up to the roof past midnight to see what we were doing?" the smile he was holding back by biting his lower lip, at this point he had already accepted how miserable he was to find her so cute when she acts like this. Just learning of how she had come up to the party to check on them was warming his cold body faster than the heater that was turned all the way up.

" I didn't co" she silenced herself before anything more problematice came out of her lips.

" He was wearing my jacket, maybe that was why you mistook him for me" The crazy mind of this was working overtime to convince him maybe, just maybe she might have come up to check on him. Or even worse to check on what he was doing. Would that be too crazy to imagine? What would he do if that was true? What would he do if the girl he couldn't stop thinking about even with alcohol, drugs and models by his side, cared about him enough to check on him? If she ever got angry he was around other girls? That was too much. That was too much even to imagine. If that ever happened, he might lose his mind with happiness that couldn't be contained.

" Nobody has gotten that close to me in a while" he would add as he sent his head back to the headrest. Her legs he saw her adjust, the sudden movements of her body was odd as he kept his eyes on studying her every move.

" Well nobody until about minutes ago" he would add as he expected her wide open eyes to come his way.

" Who would have thought you would"

" I was trying to save your life" she interrupted as her right hand sent to pick the pillow behind her as quick as it grabbed it and aimed it at his head. Her body she leaned his way was used to let her right arm aim correctly as she started attacking him with the pillow.

" and not ki" she kept attacking.

" It's okay." he raised his left hand to hide his face from the pillow she would continue to use to attack him with.

" You can say the word," he added in between his laugh.

" You're a jerk" the pillow she would raise to strike again would be paused as she caught the laugh of his hidden behind his arms he was holding up for defense. The endearing sounds of his soft laughter, the twinkle in his eyes hidden away, the glow appearing on his face he was trying hard to hide from the soft pillow she had aimed at him. All of it was new. The sun rays reflecting off the window and hitting his face, the enchanting rays were blamed for the sight in front of her that would require her to admire without even blinking. Shut it all down. Instantly, her whole body was ordered and she quickly leaned her body back. The pillow returned to be placed behind her, her eyes were also quickly back to the window. Her hands busy adjusting the blanket over shoulders, her mind would require more seconds to realize what had just happened.

" Does that mean I won't be allowed to mention it in front of Jihoo" his left hand sent to fix his hair, Junpyo would leave her even more baffled and with her mouth hanging open about what he was implying.

" Why were you awake?" his smile slowly fading away he asked the question that had been bothering him which he was sure she knew to answer if she wanted him to keep what happened to himself. The answer would come minutes later; after the beautiful sunrise helped her mind drift away.

" I had a nightmare" maybe it was the medicine she took, maybe it was the emotionless state she had been in since she woke up, maybe it was all the odd things that have been happening since she jumped into that water to save him that made it so easy to whisper out the honest answer to his question.

" about what?"

" people I lost" this one took several seconds to say out loud. Her eyes blinking at the horizon, it would be analyzed later why it had felt so easy to say it out loud now of all times.

" Your parents?"

'" I read about them in your file" the three pages of the background report he still had sitting on his desk, he recalls every detail of her life he had read about.

" Do you miss them?" he added, still doubting if it was an appropriate question to ask.

" It happened too long ago" the volume of her voice getting lower by every answer was a clue.

" Were you close?"

" Who isn't close with their parents" finally she glanced his way.
" I haven't seen my parents in months. My dad probably since new years" his small smile was used to ease the tension of the topic he had brought up.

" you and your family are weird"

" I am not weird. I don't think I could be away even for a day if I had a child"

" What?" his smile growing bigger, he asked.

" Nothing. Just imagining you as a father" his smile was reciprocated but hidden by her face she turned to the window.

" You're imaging me in a lot of scenarios today" he added, his words fading her smile but making his bigger.
" I swear" her right hand was quick to pull up the pillow and threaten him as he raised his left hand to his defense and hid his smile with his lower lip biting.

" Did you grow up with family after"

" Orphanage" how calmly she was sharing was beyond surprising and had left Junpyo stunned. It was to the point what she was saying wasn't even fully registering.

" You don't have to feel bad for me." glancing his way, she added.

" I" his stutter was found to be amusing as Jandi waited for what he would say. His downcasted eyes staring at her, it was easy to tell what he felt about even the snippet of her past she was telling him which he should know if he has read her file.

" You don't look good when you're sad" her eyes glancing his way she would say something she would quickly regret.

" This is why I tell you to stop digging. You won't find anything fun" her arms crossed, she found a distraction for herself.

" Joining a gang or being an escort is nothing for somebody like me"

" I know you're not an escort so stop with that" his quick dismissal would come with a proof.

" I offered you money on so many occasions and you have declined it everytime"

" We both know you're not doing any of this for money" both his hands sent to his head, he squeezed. The headache that required he sit in silence for a while, Jandi was okay with that as well as both returned to watching the sun rise.

" So if being sad doesn't look good on me, what does?" the silence he broke, he had leaned her way knowing he would get a reaction out of her.

" You" the pillow behind her picked up and now in both hands would be sent to land against his face; he wasn't quick enough to hide. Her hands being raised to land a couple more hits stopped half way when she heard his plea.

" The IV" he would shout to get her attention about the IV that had been pulled out.

" Omg" dropping the pillow Jandi would grab the IV that was resting on the bed.

" The nurse"

" Just put it in" Junpyo adjusting his seating would place his right arm down so she could easily put it back in. Without thinking much about it, Jandi would bring herself to sit on the bed and rest his arm on his leg to bring it closer to her view. The proximity between their bodies not being her issue for now, she focused on her task as she adjusted his hand while bringing the needle closer. What she wasn't paying attention to, Junpyo was doing it for the both of them as he took note of the softness of her left hand that was holding his right arm in place. Finally she was sitting by his side. Close enough he could smell her. Close enough to be reminded of how small she really was when she sits next to him. Her randomly cut hair resting at her shoulder, Junpyo continued to scan the girl next to him starting from there. The tracksuit she hadn't zipped to the top had left her neck exposed. The visible veins at the side of her neck that look so inviting, his eyes would follow it up to her chin. Her left hand that would brush her hair behind her ear would give him a better view of her face he has gotten used to studying. Which was even more adorable when she was focused and talking herself through the steps of what she was doing.

" This might sting" without looking up, she whispered as she started to insert. Her moving lips, his eyes would quickly find amusing before being distracted by her neck again. His left hand that grabbed a handful of the blanket and squeezed was a reaction to the thought that crossed his mind. Wild thoughts he was willing to let run free for once. One would guess it would be her lips but it was her neck that had his whole body reacting to it. To taste the glowing skin of hers, the desire ruling over his wild thoughts was already convincing him nothing would come close to how it would feel to leave his mark there, right at the nape where her wet hair was stuck to her neck.

" It's in" her smile was the only celebration for accomplishing the simple task. Her left hand returned his arm to rest on the bed, only her right hand still holding the tape over the Iv would stay on his arm as her eyes glanced up when she didn't hear anything from him. What she found waiting for her would eliminate all thought. The clock counting the seconds was the only thing in motion as her eyes fighting to not understand what was going on stayed glued to his that were holding her hostage. The tension she has been ignoring all night, it was impossible to do. The invisible force that was around her body, there was no ignoring it as starts taking over her body she couldn't closeness of their bodies, how his thighs hers were brushing against hers as she sat next to his leg was recognized instantly now. But more dangerous was the energy emanating from the body she has been warned to stay away from at every chance. The white shirt that wasn't doing much to mask the body it was hiding, his necklace that was atop of his slow moving chest, lucky for her she would be distracted away from it as her eyes would be forced to only focus on his dark ones.

" Why did you save me?" the first alarm she had missed, the second would be missed as the raspy slow voice hits her ears that would take their time enjoying the seductive sound before sending the questions to her mind that needed to prepare an answer. Did he always sound like this? If he did, would anyone mind hearing him talk nonstop?

" Should I have left you to die" her response was slow as it came with nothing else. No movement, not even an attempt to move away from the body she could feel heating up with every second she wasted sitting next to it. The lifeless body she had held close to her heart, in the deep water, it was a different story now as it was sitting there as powerful and as intimidating as it was before.

" It was easier when I thought you hated me" His eyes slowly scanning her face weren't attempting to hide anything as every desire was broadcasted in plain view. Let alone attempt to hide any of it, the look of his eyes were deeping as they lowered their focus to her neck.

" What am I going to do now?" his words couldn't reach her mind. The only message she received were the ones his eyes were sending as they followed the wet hair from her neck, up her jaw and eventually got to her eyes. Why every inch of where his longing eyes had scanned was starting to warm up was frightening as Jandi wasn't even given a choice to let the tantalizing feeling that had started at her neck branch out.

" I still hate you" her voice would evaporate as his right hand, resting by her arm, moved closer to place his thumb on her skin. The beat of her heart she could hear as though it was out of her body, nothing would have prepared her for the ant-like sting she felt across her body as his cold thumb brushed against her skin. The tender carese would leave both stunned. Her eyes that had forgotten how to blink wouldn't miss the slow movement of his lips as he pulled the lower one in to bite it. His merciless teeth were causing pain as they stayed on his lips that were starting to itch for every second they weren't getting what they wanted. His own dilemma he can't address, who would have expected it to be worse as the girl he expected to run away from him by now was still sitting there. Still by his side, looking at him with those endearing eyes. She wasn't running away as she always does. Or threatening to kill him, if not beat him to death.

" You should leave before I do something" . The force of his hoarse voice, the anger behind it wasn't aimed at her but himself. Her arm she would snatch away, Jandi wouldn't waste a second as she ran out of the room leaving him behind.
