[((*A pair of blood red eyes emerge from a pitch black screen*))]

"I swear it on the River Styx."

[((*The pair of blood red eyes blink once and close, returning the screen to pitch black as a very loud, inhuman, Godzilla-like roar is heard, going on for at least 8 seconds*))]

[((*The screen stops being black as the sounds of a modern day freight train fill the air — one of a 50 mph train in the U.S.A. barreling down a straight track — as the screen takes on the image of a grand, opulent hallway with torches hung high up on the extravagant, expensively decorated walls as well as lanterns and lights hanging down from the ceiling, with Colton with blood red eyes and two swords in his hands moving quickly from the background towards the foreground from the far end of the hallway, straight on at the camera, rage in his facial expression.*))]

"Welcome to the Evolution System, Monster King."

Colton Reynolds is about to face down his greatest challenge yet or so he thinks — after the ending of Book II. Little does he realize that before the end of Book III, he's about to find himself facing down an even greater challenge.

"He's dead.. I cut his head off with my sword myself. WHY IS HE STILL ALIVE..?!"

The stage is being set for a clash unlike anything the mythological world has ever seen..

"Sir! A massive army is approaching the Giants' Tower, estimated by our scouts to be at least one hundred thousand strong!"

..and at the center of all of this, the fate of the entire mythological world across all pantheons and religions will be decided by the fate of a child — tied to the fate of Colton Reynolds.

"So I have to keep this child alive and defeat Chaos Apophis Porphyrion in order to save Kayla and the others. Okay.. bring it on!"

In the process, the world will find out just how far he's willing to go to keep his reason to live alive.

"He's not like your normal demigod.. all of that power, all of the brutality he displays, he doesn't use it just to defend the Gods or the rest of us, his main reason is Kayla. After his parents died and after he had killed the Lydian Drakon which had killed them, she's the reason he still wants to breathe."

But nobody could have predicted.. what was yet to come.

"Incredible.. boy that size going that fast, he is vaporizing literally everything that stands in his way.. not even the Grandmasters slowed him down. He truly has evolved his Monster King form into something potentially.. truly unstoppable."

[((*The scene changes to a scene of Colton and Kayla kissing each other aboard the Argo II.*))]

"You don't have to push yourself like this for me."

"Kay.. if I wasn't pushing as hard as I did back there when coming out of Tartarus.. you would have died at Clytius' hands.. and I would have instantly killed myself at that point just to be with you again.. fuck the Gods and everyone else if it had come to that. I wouldn't give a shit about what your father, my father, or anyone else would have thought of me afterwards.. because all that matters is you. And as long as you live, that's the reason I have to fight — not only for you, but for everyone else."
