AU. Beast Boy never met the other Titans on that fateful day in Jump City after a chance encounter with another who tricked him into pursuing a different path towards being a hero. Now, years later, when the Titans and Beast Boy finally cross paths, Beast Boy isn't the hero he wanted to be, and inexplicably, a certain empath is determined to help him find out exactly who he is.

4. Quick Update

Hey yo, author here! Just giving a small update. This ain't a chapter, and I'll be deleting this once the next one goes up, but I know I've been gone for a minute. After my last story, I said I was gonna take a break and then ploughed ahead, but after getting what I had planned for this story down and then finding myself writing the next chapter...and then re-writing...and re-writing it again, found myself realising I needed some time away, just to chill/get some more concrete ideas down and all in all, just a breather from ff (Pack Mentality was a lot lol). However, I'm back, feeling good, and have started writing the next chapter and I'm actually happy with it so far! So yea, haven't gone anywhere and updates on the way, just needed a detox and felt it right to give an update.
