Just Another Weekend
In the realm, the author was setting up per usual, ensuring that all was absolutely tidy. Then, the author hears the shutter doors open before the Warners enter.
"Hey." All three said in unison.
"Hey, guys." guardian1989 greets. "Pizza and sodas are already prepared."
The Warners see the refreshments on the table, while Wakko licked his lips before they zip to get their share. Suddenly, the doors open once again, revealing a certain merc with a mouth.
"Yo, what's up, everyone?!" Deadpool greets as he walks in with his thumbs up.
"Hey." the author simply said.
The merc noticed it as he ranted.
"Seriously?! Why is it that the canine trio over there," he points to the Warners. "Get the welcome wagon every time, and yet, I get no respect from you?"
"Eh, that's because we made a deal with him and number boy." Yakko stated before turning around.
Deadpool narrowed his eyes under his mask before shifting his attention towards the author and asked.
"Dude, may I, please, make my own frequent cameos in your realm?"
The author was silent for a second before he said with a slight shrug.
"All you had to do was ask."
Deadpool was bewildered at the answer.
"Say what?"
"Yeah. I mean, danifan3000 asked to make frequent cameos in my realm for my other crossover, and I granted his request." guardian1989 said. "Even number boy asked me to assist in sealing a deal with the Warners back there." the author gestured to the Warner siblings. "And I granted his request as well."
"So, you mean to tell me if I asked, I wouldn't constantly get shot by those infernal tranq guns of yours, get booted out, AND I would stick around to see the entire chapter?!" the merc asks in surprise.
"I think the word, duh, comes to mind." Dot snarked.
"What she said." Wakko comments.
One can imagine an anime style tick mark pop on the glaring merc's forehead at the revelation. With that, Deadpool just shrugged it off as he asked.
"So, where do I sit?"
Using his foot, the author maneuvers his chair as he said.
"Here. You can use mine until I fashion one for you."
"Aw, that's real nice of you, buddy." Deadpool said.
Suddenly, a bell rings before a pleasant scent assaults the merc's nose in a good way, as he asked.
"Ooh! Do I smell...?"
"Chimichangas? Yeah." guardian1989 said as he walked to the shutter doors.
After paying the delivery boy, the author brings the bag to the merc as he drooled in his mask from the sight and smell of his favorite food.
"Chimichangas! Come to Wade!"
The host had to stiffle a chuckle before he got some of his own share of pizza and sodas before taking a seat on one of the spare chairs.
"Well, it's about time that I get to stick around for the whole chapter." Deadpool comments wirh his mouthful.
"Yeah, Wade." guardian1989 said as he hands over a napkin. "It is."
As the merc grabbed a soda can, the author flicks the lights as the story resumes with a new chapter.
Days have passed, and it was now Friday; Friday night, to be more specific. It was currently dark in the city.
With Danny, he was able to finish his homework despite math being a difficult subject for him. He was currently in a video chat with Sam and Tucker through his computer.
"So, you're saying your new school is the opposite of Casper High?!" Tucker asked in disbelief.
"You better believe it, Tuck." Danny said in response. "Middleton High would instantly put Casper High to shame. Especially since my new teacher, Mr. Barkin would make Dash cower."
Two days ago, Danny saw a jock bullying a student before Mr. Barkin intervened, and the bully received a week's worth of detention as a result.
"That'll be a sight to behold." Sam said with a smirk.
"Not to mention, I've made a few new friends." Danny comments.
"That was fast." Tucker said with surprise.
"Do tell." Sam beckoned.
"Well, for starters, the first person I've met is a girl." Danny comments, not noticing Sam's expression turn into a scowl. "A head cheerleader at that."
"Really? Who?" Tucker asked with piqued interests.
"Does the name Kim Possible ring any bells?" Danny asked rhetorically.
"You mean that world-famous heroine who is also head cheerleader of Middleton High?!" Tucker asked in absolute shock. "That Kim Possible?!"
Sam narrowed her eyes in annoyance as she asked.
"You're seriously not buying into that fake news, are you?"
"Actually, Sam, it's more real than you think." Danny states. "I know because I've witnessed it first hand."
The goth girl had her focus on something else as she asked, completely appalled.
"Danny? Of all the new people to meet and befriend, it had to be a cheerleader?!"
"Sam, Kim's not like Paulina or the others at Casper High." Danny said, trying to reason with her. "She's actually pretty nice, as are the other cheerleaders at Middleton High," he glanced upward as added offhandedly, "Except for one." Danny refocused on the screen. "If I am able to introduce you guys to her, just give her a chance."
Sam rolled her eyes as she said.
"Yeah. When pigs learn to fly!"
Tucker decided to quickly change the subject as he said.
"Anyways, dude, since we have a free weekend, we plan on coming to visit you in Middleton tomorrow. Up for it?"
Danny had a look of regret as he said.
"I'd like that, but I already made plans for tomorrow."
"Say what?" Sam asked in confusion.
"You're already booked?" Tucker asked equally confused.
Danny nervously rubbed the back of his head as he said in response.
"Yeah. You see, I... sort of asked Kim out and..."
"She said, "Yes," right?" Sam asked in annoyance.
Right about the ghost boy was about to answer, the goth girl interrupts him by saying.
"Whatever. I'll see you guys later."
As Sam logged off, Tucker said to Danny
"Give her time, dude. You and I both know how stubborn she is."
"Yeah." Danny replied, knowingly. "If only she could just see that not all cheerleaders are like Paulina or the others at Casper High."
"Well," Tucker shrugged. "Perhaps, Sam and I can visit next weekend."
"I'll keep you posted." Danny said.
"Later, dude." Tucker said before logging off.
Danny logs off before shutting down his computer.
"I don't understand." he lamented. "Why is Sam still under the belief that all cheerleaders are like Paulina and the rest of them?" Danny lied on his bed. "I mean, Kim is cool and all, even if she's a bit braggy, but she's the polar opposite of Paulina, from what I've seen."
Meanwhile, in Amity Park, Sam was in her room, seething with rage. She looked like she recently slammed her fists onto her dresser.
"I can't believe this!" she rants. "How could Danny be so idiotic to fall for a cheerleader?!" Sam takes a seat on the side of her bed. "I don't care what everyone else thinks. All cheerleaders are the same."
The goth was silent for a while, lost in her thoughts. With the revelation that her best friend, who moved to Middleton, is now booked for the weekend, she and Tucker won't be able to pay him a visit.
Or could they...?
Sam grabs her cellphone and speed dials Tucker's number. After about 5 seconds of waiting, she hears his voice on the other line.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Tuck." Sam greets. "Cancel your plans for tomorrow. We're going on a little trip."
"Oh, boo hoo." Deadpool comments before wiggling his fingers to play music. "Let me play a sad song for Sam on the world's smallest violin."
"Spongebob reference?" guardian1989 asks with a raised eyebrow.
"That, and I really did get the world's smallest violin." Deadpool holds out his hand. "See?"
The author squints at Wade's hand before he sees a very small object on the palm.
"Oh."
"Anywho, let's get back to the story." Deadpool flicked the switch.
The next day, it almost high noon as Danny finished breakfast before he washed up and took what he may need, including the Fenton Thermos, just in case. The ghost boy walks into the lab downstairs to see his parents working on a new project
"Later, guys. I'm going out."
"Later, son." Jack said.
"Be safe out there." Maddie said.
"I'll be all right." Danny assured.
As Danny was leaving, he saw Jazz at the kitchen when he was approaching the front door. She had a smirk on her face before she said to him in a teasing manner.
"Have a good time with your girlfriend."
"Jazz, Kim's not my girlfriend." Danny said in denial. "At least, not yet anyway."
The Fenton girl heard what her younger brother said offhandedly as she said.
"The fact you admitted "not yet" proves that she will be, eventually."
Danny rolled his eyes as he said.
"Whatever, Jazz. I'll see you later."
Once the ghost boy stepped out the door, he gets to the sidewalk before hearing the very voice that he found very appealing to him since his first day at Middleton High.
"Danny?"
Turning to the source, the ghost boy sees Kim who was just as surprised to see him as he was with her.
"Hey Kim." he greets.
"This is where you live?" Kim asked in curiosity.
Danny blushed as he said in response.
"Yeah... this is it."
"Spankin. Looks like we live near one another." Kim comments before looking at the large station on the roof. "Although, I'm not sure what that is."
"That would be the Ops Center." Danny said as he and Kim began to walk out of the neighborhood. "My parents built it as a sort of base. Long story."
Meanwhile, at the Middleton Train Station, two teens who Danny knew were stepping out into the city.
"Sam, this isn't how I wanted to spend my weekend." Tucker said. "Besides, Danny said he was booked, so finding him is like finding a needle in a haystack."
"Doesn't mean we won't be able to coincidentally drop in on him." Sam said with a scowl.
Primarily, Sam was determined to see the very cheerleader who the goth believed has already begun to corrupt her friend and give her a piece of her mind. All the while, Tucker got out his PDA as he said.
"If I didn't bring this with me, we'd be lost."
"Come on, Tucker!" Sam said as she grabbed Tucker's arm.
In the city, Kim was giving Danny a tour of her hometown as they were in the parking lot of a certain store that only the redhead is familiar with.
"Right here is the Smarty Mart." she says. "This convenient store is where Ron first met Rufus."
"Wow. Middleton sure is a lot bigger than Amity Park." Danny comments with impression.
"I'll bet." Kim said.
Suddenly, Danny's stomach made a low growl as he nervously chuckled.
"Sorry. I guess my late breakfast wore off too soon."
Kim simply smiled before she said.
"Come on. I want to show you a good place we can go to."
The redhead gently grasps Danny's hand, making him blush before she leads him to her ideal destination.
Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Sam and Tucker were walking around as they looked left and right, trying to locate their friend.
"I don't know about you, Tuck, but Kim sure is making us go on a wild goose chase." Sam comments bitterly.
"Sam? Maybe it's because Danny said he was going to be booked." Tucker said with emphasis. "And he didn't tell us where he would be!"
"Come on! Let's keep looking!" Sam said with a scowl.
Tucker rolled his eyes as he droned.
"And to think I'd be at the Nasty Burger right about now."
"Damn! Sam sure got pretty jealous, so quickly!" Deadpool comments after swallowing a chimichanga.
"Yeah. Must be a new record." guardian1989 said in response before taking a drink of soda.
Eventually, Danny and Kim reached the destination that the redhead wanted to show him; the very place where he fought the Lunch Lady ghost after his relocation to Middleton.
"You know, the name Bueno Nacho may sound like Good Nacho, but I got a feeling that it sounds bad." Danny said. "And I'm a C-student."
"Well, it is a popular place here in Middleton." Kim states.
"I'll bet." Danny glanced away. "However, my friend Tucker warned me not to eat from there, but never said why."
"Well, he has his own opinion, I guess." Kim said with a shrug.
"Perhaps." Danny said after nodding.
Kim leads Danny inside the restaurant. The ghost boy sees Ron at a table eating what appeared to be a taco at a distance. The blonde boy saw them enter as he waved while calling wirh his mouthful.
"KP! Danny!"
The two approach Ron as he swallowed the food in his mouth.
"I didn't expect to see you here, Ron." Danny commemts.
"I can say the same, dude." Ron said in response.
"Come on, I'll show you the menu they have here." Kim offered.
In the city, Sam and Tucker were having no luck finding Danny. The goth girl and the techno-geek were getting frustrated, but for different reasons.
"Where could Danny be?!" Sam pondered angrily.
"Sam, can we take a break and get something to eat?" Tucker complained. "I'm getting hungry!"
Suddemly, a citizen saw the two teens as he asked.
"Excuse me. Are you two looking for Kim Possible?"
"Uh... yeah." Sam fibs, realizing that if they find Kim, they would find Danny.
"Last I saw her, she was leading some boy with black hair." the individual informed.
"Which way did they go?" Tucker asked.
The informant points to a direction as the two teens look before the goth girl gave her thanks before pulling Tucker by the arm to lead him in the direction they were given.
Back at Bueno Nacho, Danny and Kim take a seat at the same table where Ron was, as the former eyes the food on his tray.
"The naco?" Danny asks, having a bad feeling in his gut.
"It's basically a taco with nachos in it." Kim explained.
"And nature's perfect food." Ron proudly declared. "Good choice, dude. Classic combo."
"Uh huh." Rufus squeaked in agreement.
Danny glances around to see that no one, not even the manager, made any complaints about the naked mole rat being present in the restaurant as he said.
"I'm actually surprised that Rufus is allowed to be in here."
Ron shrugged as he said.
"We're regulars. We eat here all the time."
"All the time?! As in 24/7?!" Danny sees Ron and Rufus nod their heads. "Do you live here or something?!"
Ron scoffed before he said.
"I wish." he focused on Danny's naco. "What are you waiting for, dude? Give it a try."
Danny picked up the naco as he eyed it suspiciously. Ron and Rufus watched in anticipation as the ghost boy slowly took a bite and chewed the food. He makes a face of disgust that only Kim recognized while her best friend was completely oblivious as she watched Danny swallow it with much difficulty.
"So that's why Tucker warned me." he thought in realization and disgust.
"Are you okay?" Kim asked in concern.
"Of course, he's cool." Ron said with pride. "Danny just had his first naco."
Rufus squealed in delight before he took a dive into Ron's second naco that remained untouched and devoured it from the inside. All the while, Danny had a nervous look, as he said with hesitation.
"Yeah... it's... really something."
Suddenly, Ron felt his stomach rumble before he said.
"If you'll excuse me, I need to use the men's room."
Once Ron left the table, Danny waited until he was out of earshot. After he heard the door close, the ghost boy placed the naco back onto the tray and pushed it away from him.
"Ugh..."
"Didn't like it, huh?" Kim asked.
"No." Danny said in response. "Now I know why Tucker warned me of this place."
Rufis popped his head out of the naco before he angrily makes his way towards the ghost boy.
"I won't lie to you, Kim. It tasted... awful." Danny said with honesty. "The tortilla was bland, the meat felt undercooked and the sauce tasted stale."
The redhead noticed movement in front of Danny instantly.
"Uh oh!"
Danny looks down to see a glaring Rufus shaking his paw angrily while squeaking at him as if he was ranting at the boy.
"Rufus likes this place as much as Ron, doesn't he?" he asks.
"Yes, he does." Kim said with a nod.
Danny turns to Rufus with a nervous smile.
"Look, Rufus. Sorry about what I said." He says. "Please, don't tell Ron, and I'll let you have this."
Rufus looks at Danny's naco before he squeaks while shaking his head.
"Uh, uh!"
Rufus turned his back on Danny with his paws crossed. However, temptation got to the little rodent as he looked back at the food before looking at Danny. Rufus turns around to face Danny before he nods while squeaking.
"Okay."
The ghost boy watches Rufus dive into the naco and starts to eat it from the inside while making a mess on the table.
"Wow. I guess Rufus can't resist food from this place."
"Come on. There's more of Middleton that I want to show you." Kim said as she got up. "We'll stop by Cow and Chow on the way."
Five minutes after the two teens left, Sam and Tucker approached the area. However, the techno-geek saw the establishment as he groaned in disgust.
"Oh no. Not there!"
"What's with you?" Sam asked with a raised eyebrow.
"That place serves the nastiest food ever." Tucker complained. "I tried it once and..." he shuddered. "I had to run to the bathroom all day!"
Sam rolled her eyes before she said.
"We're here to find Danny, remember? He could be inside."
"I hope he isn't, for his sake." Tucker looks at his PDA. "Good thing there's a place called Cow and Chow nearby."
"Come on!" Sam grabbed Tucker's arm and literally pulled him.
As the two teens approach the entrance, Sam sees Ron walk to a table and allows Rufus to crawl onto his arm. The goth girl was turning red with rage when she saw Rufus eating the leftover food. Right when the blonde boy left the restaurant...
"YOU!"
Ron sees Sam glaring angrily as she rants
"How dare you let that poor little animal eat all that junk food!"
"Hey! Rufus loves this stuff!" Ron retorted, offended.
"Yeah!" Rufus squeaked in agreement.
"And nobody calls Bueno Nacho junk food!" Ron declared while pointing his finger and arm up into the sky.
Tucker rolled his eyes with a scoff before he critically said.
"Yeah, you're right. Garbage is a better word for this place."
Ron heard Tucker as anger rose in him. He glared at the techno-geek hard as he demanded
"What did you just say?!"
Sam noticed as her eyes widened in fear while she said.
"Uh oh..."
Rufus did the same thing as he squeaked.
"Uh oh..."
"Boy. Tucker doesn't know when to keep his big mouth shut.' Deadpool comments.
"No, he does not." guardian1989 said in response.
"Hm... it'll be funny if Sam tried it and spit it out before dissing Bueno Nacho." The merc comments.
"Watch and see."
Danny and Kim were currently the mall that was fully repaired. Earlier, the redhead took him to Cow and Chow for lunch. When Danny ordered a hamburger, he finished it completely, indicating that he found that more appetizing than the food at Bueno Nacho.
"I'm surprised that you mentioned Ron enjoying that JP Bearymore's Pizza Party-torium." he comments with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah. So do my brothers." Kim said. "I prefer not to linger there."
Danny simply nods as he and Kim continue to walk. Suddenly, Kim noticed an advertisement sign near the entrance of Club Banana that made her gasp with excitement.
"Oh my gosh! The new jackets are finally in!"
Danny follows Kim inside the store despite the latter rushing in to try on one of the new clothing. He sees the redhead inspecting one of the jackets as he smiles.
"The cold doesn't kick in for another few months."
Kim shrugged as she said.
"I like to prepare early sometimes."
Then, both teens hear a familiar voice.
"Hey, girl!"
"Monique!"
Danny sees Monique there as well. Also, he saw that the African girl was working for the store, as he said in surprise.
"Hey. I didn't expect to see you here."
"Well, I work here." Monique said with a shrug. "But it's nice to friendly faces once in a great while."
Danny nods as he said.
"I can imagine."
Kim was the only one who noticed a subtle tone in his voice as she placed the jacket back on the shelf before she asked.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah. It's just that... I miss seeing my friends Sam and Tucker." Danny admits.
"You mean your two friends from Amity Park?" Kim sees Danny nod. "I'm sorry."
Danny just shrugged it off as he said.
"It's okay." He glanced away. "Even though they're far away, I'm pretty sure they miss me, too, and they're probably finding new ways to occupy themselves."
Kim mulled it over before she suggested.
"Perhaps we can visit your old hometown on a weekend."
Danny smiled as he said.
"Sure. I'll take you there."
What the ghost boy didn't realize was that his friends were closer than he thought.
At Bueno Nacho, Tucker and Ron were standing close as they weakly slapped one another like kindergarteners in a playground.
"Take back what you said!" Ron demanded.
"Never!" Tucker ranted in defiance.
"TAKE IT BACK!"
"NO!"
Sam just sat on one of the outside benches with an annoyed look on her face while watching their childish fight.
"Sometimes, I feel like I'm the only adult here." she bemoaned.
Recently, Sam ordered a chimirito without the meat or cheese due to her vegetarian diet. She takes a bite to try it out before she says to herself.
"I don't know why Tuck makes a fuss about this."
Unfortunately, Sam was going to eat her words. Her stomach begins to rumble with bubbling sounds that were loud and gross. Her face made a pained expression before Sam's eyes widened in an uh oh manner as she bent over slightly. Suddenly, the goth bolts to the interior of the restaurant while dropping the food as she yells.
"BATHROOM!"
Rufus just stares at the bitten chimirito before he started to finish it off while watching the entertainment in the form of Tucker and Ron continuing their childish fight.
"TAKE IT BACK!"
"FORGET IT!"
"Damn, dude. That was brutal for Sam." Deadpool comments. "But very funny."
The author just shrugged before he said.
"Hey, you got what you asked, right?"
"True." the merc said in response.
The two teens were in a different part of the city. Danny noticed how silent Kim was as he commented to her.
"You're quiet. Is something wrong?"
"Oh, nothing. It's no big." Kim fibbed.
However, the redhead saw Danny raise an eyebrow in suspicion, which told her that he wasn't buying it before she lost her smile and confessed.
"Okay, I'll admit it." Kim looks at Danny in the eyes as they stop walking. "Honestly, I am enjoying spending time with you. I wish we could date more often, but there's just one problem."
"What problem?" Danny asked in curiosity.
"My dad." Kim admits before looking at Danny again. "He... doesn't know about you, let alone me meeting you here. Only my mom does. Not only is my dad embarrassing, but he's totally against me dating."
Danny was silent as Kim continued to explain.
"I mean, I even heard one time say, and I quote him." she deepens her voice. "Well, at least Kimmie is out there fighting bad guys instead of spending time with some boy, unquote."
Danny was surprised at Kim's reason before he asked.
"Is... is that why we aren't..."
Danny paused, completely nervous before Kim asked.
"Aren't what?"
"Aren't... you know, a couple officially?" Danny finished hesitantly.
Kim looked away with a blush before she said in response.
"Well, Danny, I know it's a bit too soon, but..." Kim paused for a second. "I actually like you, but I don't feel right about being in a relationship behind my dad's back."
"It's okay, Kim. I understand." Danny assured. "You're worried about how your dad will take it."
"Yeah, and..." Kim slightly looks away. "Well... I honestly didn't think I'd meet a guy like you. Now, it's... all new to me."
"Just like how it's new to me." Danny said. "In more ways than one."
Danny and Kim were silent as they looked in each other's eyes. It was as if their own bodies were on autopilot as they slowly leaned towards one another. Right when they were about to share their first kiss, the teens hear the sound of turbine engines approaching fast. Instantly, they snapped back to reality as Kim bemoaned.
"Not again..."
They look up to see the same hovercraft piloted by the very same villains that the ghost boy has previously encountered. Kim glared at the two before she asked in annoyance.
"Can't find anything better to do, can you?"
"Aw, but it's so much fun breaking you, Kimmie." Shego snarked before glancing at Danny. "As well as your little boyfriend."
Both teens were startled as they blushed.
"He's not my..."
"She's not my..."
"We're not officially..."
"Not yet, anyway."
Kim caught the last words as she asked Danny.
"Wait, not yet...?"
"Well," Danny scratched the back of his head. "I-I-I thought that maybe... later on, we could..." he said nervously.
As Kim blushed while smiling at him, Dr. Drakken rolled his eyes as he said.
"Whatever. Shego! Attack!"
"With pleasure!" Shego smiled while stretching her arms and fingers.
The female mercenary leaped at the two with her hands glowing with her powers. However, when the villainess was in range, Kim countered with a jump kick as she knocked her opponent thirty feet away before preparing herself to fight.
"Danny! Go!" Kim beckons. "I can handle this!"
Danny was hesitant at first. However, he nodded in response before running away as Shego got up and readied for battle.
The thing was, Danny wasn't running away. Instead, he was going to a hiding place. While Kim and Shego were busy fighting, Danny looked to see that the coast was clear for him to transform.
"I'm going ghost!"
Back at the fight, Dr. Drakken pulls out another blaster and aims it at Kim. However, a ghost ray blasts it out of his hands. The good doctor turns to see the assailant.
"Hey, moron! Didn't your mother ever tell you not to play with guns?!"
Drakken was shocked to see who it was.
"You again?!"
Kim and Shego see the ghost boy before the latter grinned as she said.
"Sorry, Kimmie. I'll get back to you."
Shego leaped towards Danny. This tine, the ghost boy didn't have a chance to dodge her before the female.merc tackled him to the ground.
"Gotcha now!"
"Sorry, but in a way, I'm already taken."
Danny phased into the ground, much to Shego's surprise. As she got up to look around, an invisible fist delivers an uppercut, which knocked her towards Kim. The redhead delivered a roundhouse kick to Shego's back as the woman was knocked into a tree. Once Danny turned visible, Kim saw him as she said.
"Thanks."
"No problem."
Suddenly, as Shego was getting up, Danny's ghost sense went off.
"Uh oh."
Those who were present saw it.
"Whoa, creepy." Shego comments, completely weirded out.
"What was that?" Kim asked in curiosity.
"Let's just say, I'm about more bad company." Danny said with worry.
Suddenly, they hear the roar of missiles as Danny and Kim look to see them. Danny quickly embraced Kim before turning intangible as the projectiles flew through them harmlessly. As they turned solid, Danny saw Skulker. For the others, it was first time seeing a robotic ghost with a black shirt, pants, and flaming green mohawk.
"Ghost child! Did you really think that by changing habitats, you can escape me?!"
Kim rose an eyebrow as she asked.
"Who or what is that?"
"That would be Skulker." Danny said in response. "He's a ghost hunter who's after my pelt on a constant basis."
Shego made a disgusted look as she said.
"Okay. That is disgusting."
As Skulker readied his weapons, Danny glanced at Kim as he said.
"I'll handle Skulker."
"I'll take Shego."
Both teens nod before they take on their specific opponents. While Kim and Shego were fighting one another, Danny was dodging Skulker's weaponry before he countered with a ghost ray, destroying his opponent's missile launchers.
"Seriously, Skulker?! You never learn, do you?" Danny grimaced in annoyance.
"I will never stop until your pelt is on my wall!" Skulker declared.
Danny rolled his eyes before seeing Skulker reconfigure his arm into an energy weapon. The ghost boy narrowly dodged it when the hunter fired an electric bolt. The energy projectile sailed towards its new target; Drakken's hovercraft.
The blue scientist lets out a terrified yelp before he jumps out of the vehicle and into a tree. As the projectile destroyed the hovercraft, Drakken fell through the tree before he managed to cling onto a branch for dear life.
"Nice try, Skulker! I think you need to get your targeting system recalibrated." Danny taunted.
Skulker growled before he charged at Danny. The ghost boy dodged him before he used his cryomancy to form a snowball and flung it at him. The hunter didn't react in time as the snowball struck him, encasing him in ice. The weight of the ice caused Skulker to fall. While Kim and Shego were busy fighting, they looked to see a frozen Skulker falling onto the ground. The ghost's cyber armor shattered into pieces, revealing his true form.
Shego was at a loss for words as she rubbed her eyes and slapped herself to ensure she wasn't seeing things.
"That's what Skulker really looks like?" she asked in disbelief.
"And this is what my fist really looks like."
Shego didn't have time to dodge Kim as the redhead knocked her out with a single punch while Danny sealed Skulker into the Fenton Thermos.
"You okay?" Danny asked out of concern.
"No big." Kim said in response.
The two hear Drakken growl before they see him shaking his fist as he yelled.
"KIM POSSIBLE! DANNY PHANTOM! YOU TWO THINK YOU'RE ALL THAT! BUT YOU'RE NOT!"
"Does he always say that?" Danny asked.
"Believe me, he does." Kim said in annoyance.
Soon, Danny flies away as Kim tries to call out to him.
"Wait!"
Danny was invisible as he returned to his hiding spot before he transformed back. He saw Kim looking around before he approached her.
"Kim?"
Kim turned to see Danny, completely relieved that he was unharmed. The redhead failed to notice the Fenton Thermos concealed in his back pocket as she said.
"I'm glad you're okay."
"As am I."
Minutes later, the police were taking away Drakken and Shego. Suddenly, the teens hear tires screeching as they look to the source. Then, a vehicle screeched to a stop; one that Danny recognized as he groaned in embarrassment.
"Oh no."
Suddenly, Jack and Maddie, armed with Fenton Bazookas, jumped out of the FFAV, ready to fire.
"Where is it?!" Jack demands as he looks around.
"Where is that ghost?!" Maddie demanded as she looked around as well.
For Kim, it was the first time seeing Danny's parents. The man she assumed was his father was a big man in an orange and black HAZMAT suit while his mother who had short, auburn hair under the hood and goggles, donned a blue and black HAZMAT suit. Then, she noticed Danny facepalm as he whined in embarrassment.
"Mom! Dad!"
Jack and Maddie stop to see their son with someone that neither of them recognized. They lowered their weapons as Kim asked Danny.
"I'm guessing they're your parents?"
"Yeah." he bemoaned. "That's my family."
The Fentons approach, as Jack said.
"Sorry about that, son. Didn't know you had company."
"And who might you be?" Maddie asked.
"Kim Possible."
"Nice to meet you, Kim. I'm Jack Fenton." Jack said as he shook Kim's hand. "This is my beloved wife, Maddie."
"Nice to meet you, young lady." Maddie said as she shook Kim's hand.
"Nice to meet you, too." Kim said.
Maddie turned to her husband as she said.
"Come on, honey. We'll look elsewhere."
"But Maddie, didn't you say that we..." Jack began.
Suddenly, Maddie grabbed Jack by the ear and pulled him towards the FFAV as she said.
"I said, come on."
Jack mewed in pain before he finally got the message as he followed his wife into the vehicle and drove off. Danny breathed a sigh of relief as he said.
"Sorry you had to meet them that way."
"It's no big." Kim assured. "I see they've got their quirks, but they seem like nice people."
Danny was surprised that Kim didn't have any negative comments on his family as he thought.
"Wow. Kim doesn't think my parents are weird."
"Besides," she looks at the departing police vehicles. "I'm sorry about them butting in again."
Danny shrugged as he said.
"Hey, I came from a city haunted by ghosts. So, I can get used to them."
Kim rose an eyebrow with a smirk as she said.
"Just as I'm getting used to the ghosts haunting Middleton now."
Danny rubbed the back of his head as he had a nervous grin
"I guess so."
Suddenly, Kim had a smile as she approached Danny before she pressed her lips against his. The ghost boy was surprised as his eyes widened before they closed as he and Kim embraced one another while sharing their first kiss. Once they broke apart, Danny blushed as he said.
"Not that I'm complaining, but what was that for?"
It was Kim's turn to blush as she said.
"Well, in all honesty, I like you. You're cool, fun, and honest."
Her answer made Danny smile, but deep down, he felt bad for a certain matter...
His secret
It was late afternoon as Sam and Tucker were getting onboard the train, heading back to Amity Park.
"Well, we lost them." Sam glared at Tucker. "Way to go, you moron."
"Me?! What did I do?!" Tucker demanded.
"You had to pick a fight with that guy back at the restaurant, that's what." Sam retorted.
"Hey, if anyone is a moron, it's you, Sam." Tucker countered.
"Excuse me?" Sam asked with her hand on her hip.
"I told you for, probably the thousandth time, that Danny was booked, but no. You didn't want to listen." Tucker waved his arms in exaggeration.
Sam glared at Tucker once more before she groaned and clutched her stomach. The African boy noticed as he asked.
"You ate something from Bueno Nacho, didn't you?"
As they took a seat, Sam groaned.
"I don't know if that burrito I ate will make it through my system." Sam bent over slightly. "Note to self: Never eat there, again."
"Well, Sam, I hate to say I told you so, but..." Tucker began.
"Shut up, Tucker." Sam grimaced in annoyance.
Omce the train began to move, Sam felt her bowels bubbling as she groaned.
"Not again!"
As she bolts to the restroom, Tucker yells out to her.
"I told you so!"
"Wow. I would feel sorry for Sam, if she wasn't so.."
"Infuriating. Trying to enforce her ways into others?" guardian1989 asked.
"I was going to say judgey, but that'll do." Deadpool said in response.
The author nodded in response as he took another sip of his beverage.
Danny and Kim were walking in the neighborhood as the sun began to set in the horizon.
"You know, Kim, other than those bozos showing up, it felt great spending time with you." Danny said.
"I can say the same." Kim said in agreement.
"And thanks for the tour." Danny said in gratitude.
"It's no big." Kim shrugged it off.
Eventually, they reached Danny's house as they both glanced at the Ops Center that's built over the roof.
"I guess this is my stop." Danny said with a blush. "I'll... see you at school on Monday, then?"
"Please, and thank you." Kim said with a smile. "I hope we can do this more often."
"I'd like that." Danny said.
After Kim kissed Danny's cheek, she departed to her own house while the latter walked into his home. Once he finished showering, Danny lay on his bed as he thought.
"Man. I didn't think a cheerleader actually likes me."
However, another thought crossed his mind.
"She calls me honest, but I'm hiding my secret from her."
Meanwhile, Kim was in her own room as she thought.
"What am I going to tell my dad about Danny?"
It was Monday as school was about to begin in 30 minutes at Middleton High. Danny, Jazz, and Kim see Ron in his locker.
"Hey, Ron." Kim greets.
"Hey guys."
Danny noticed the depressed tone as he asked.
"Did something happen?"
"Well, over the weekend, there were these punks badmouthing Bueno Nacho." Ron said. "And well,... we fought."
"Really?" Kim asked.
"Yeah. The police escorted those kids to the train station and me back home. So, I'm grounded, but..." Ron grabs Danny by the shirt. "I'm banned from Bueno Nacho for a week!" The blonde screamed the latter part.
"Uh huh." Rufus squeaked.
"Ron, calm down, dude." Danny frees himself from Ron's grip. "It's not like you're going to die of starvation."
"He's got a point, Ron." Kim adds. "So, not the drama."
All the while, Jazz had her thoughts as she pondered.
"Hmm. I wonder if... No. It couldn't be Sam and Tucker. They're not liable to start a fight, are they?"
Suddenly, the warning bell rang as everyone bolt to class. With the trio, they took their seat before Mr. Barkin entered the classroom to take over in teaching. With Kim, she subtly casts a look at Danny; a look that only Rufus noticed as he rose an eyebrow, metaphorically speaking.
"Huh...?" he squeaked.
And done. Stay tuned for the next chapter where Danny officially goes on his first mission with Kim as a backup sidekick.
"The lights reactivate as Deadpool stood up to stretch.
"Well, I got to say that it feels great to see the full chapter for this." he said. "I'm guessing the next will be based on the episode, Naked Genius?"
"Yeah. Sorry about the times that you've been..." the author was about to say.
Deadpool waved it off as he said.
"Eh, I'll let bygones. Besides, I'm the one who intruded without asking to start."
As the merc was leaving, the Warners were leaving as well while the host said
"I'll have your chair ready by the start of the next chapter in my other crossover."
"Look forward to seeing that."
Once the guests leave, the host turns to the audience, getting ready to turn off the lights in his realm.
"Til next time."
DarkShadowGames451: Thanks for the review. As for the Fentons meeting the Possibles, that will come soon.
Lisa-Katagiri: Thank you. I appreciate the offer, but polite pass. I have my own drawing software and equipment to make digital arts of my own.
Guest99: That's an interesting proposition.
YuukiHiro98: No worries. I might rrcreate my old stories, but I'm not so sure yet. Plus, you need to be up to date with the latest chapters in my other crossover.
Blake: Thank you.
Rock1030: Yes, they both find their new school is the polar opposite of their old one.
Pokemon Fan 1991: Thank you.
Erick-Genryusai: Well, I might revive my old story.
danifan3000: 1. Yes, it is ironic how Bonnie is still on the team and has friends despite her attitude. I've seen those parts myself. Got to love the irony.
2. Danny will probably notice the rhyming names once he first officially meets Kim's family and then Bonnie's.
Guest: I might, but I need to see the entire series first. Furthermore, I already have a crossover with Danny Phantom and another Marvel series, X-Men: Evolution.
DJ Rodriguez: Thank you. I hope you will like this one.
Jebest4781: Thank you. You'll see when I post the next chapter.
Fiction Realm: I'm saving something similar to that for later. Be patient, my friend.
iamshinydragonmist: Hey, practice makes perfect. Trust me, I know. Just brainstorm ideas and go along with it. Even if you don't succeed, you can always try again. I wish you luck, my friend.
Don't forget to read and review
