Isaiahwas inthe library looking for the idealbook. He was in the same section for the past ten minutes and whispered to himself, "Man, what do I need to get? I'm so confused." He walked around the bookcasehoping to find an answer. "Oh… hi Isaiah. What are you doing here?" The boy looked down to see Antonia through the bookshelf. "Oh, I'm looking for some books for my history class. What are you in here for?" She walked around to get a better view of him. He thought she was the most beautiful girl in the whole school. She wore a baggy jacket with the NINE INCH NAILS logo on the back. Underneath was a tight striped black and brown crop top. She had the black cargo parts with lots of buckles and zippers going down the sides. Her large cross necklace and hair clips completed the look. "I'm just here studying with Donna. Care to join us? We're just listening to our own music but keeping each other company." She smiled at him and softened her expression. Antonia thought Isaiah always dressed nicely. He always smelled good and was captivated by his dark brown eyes. "Yeah, that's cool. I just need to check out the books I need, and I'll find you guys." She nodded her head and smiled. "Alright cool. Oh! By the way, your shoes are killer! I love a good color block." She turned around to return to Donna. Isaiah loved the way she spoke and thought he just needed to muster up the courage to ask her out beaming with excitement as she approached Donna. "Is your boyfriend coming over to us?" Donna had a mischievous face as she whispered to the girl. "Ugh. He is not my boyfriend." Antonia's ears began to feel warm. "Hey. It's really obvious that you have a crush on him. You should ask him to hang out." The goth gasped. "Ewwwww. No way mate! The guy is supposed to ask the girl out! Do I look desperate to you?" Donna, joking, shrugged which earned her a mean look from her friend. She cackled and got poked with a pencil. "Hey! Don't stab me with that thing!" Antonia went back to her work which she had no issues completing. Isaiah then joined them and sat next to Antonia at the table. He looked over to what she was doing and said, "Oh Pre-Cal was pretty easy for me. The rest of the stuff is going to be easy once you get the hang of it." Antonia looked at her paper and then softened her voice. "Umm... I actually have a test tomorrow, but I don't know if I am doing all this workright. Can you look it over for me?" She batted her eyes at the boy, and he put his history journal back into his backpack. "Yeah, sure. We can go over the questions you need help with, and I can show you how to solve them." Isaiah was instantlyready to helpAntonia and Donna wanted to laugh. She knew that Isaiah was this cool guy with a calm attitude but got anxious once Antonia was around. The two spent the next hour going over the test materials and discussing how to solve the problems. Donna wanted to purposely interrupt their study session but knew she would get lectured from both of them for "ruining the moment" knowing they had interest ineach other. Donna then got up to throw away some scrap pieces of paper and the two were then by themselves. "Hey, off topic but have you gone to Snowflake yet?" The goth stopped her work and looked at him. "No, I don't know what that is?" Isaiah shifted his position in his chair to get closer to Antonia. "It's a frozen yogurt place like Menchie's. It's owned by these two blonde ladies that opened over the summer." He leaned in towards her hoping she would catch on to what he was about to say. "Never heard of Menchie's. But I mean that's pretty cool. But I try to stay away from dairy. From time to time, I go on vegan or vegetarian diets." She began to put her things away in her backpack. "Oh… well is there any place around here that you like to go to often?" He returned to his position back against the chair waiting for her response. "Umm no not really. I usually just eat at home. I honestly like to try new foods, but I have to be in the mood." Then goth then caught on to what Isaiah was trying to accomplish then slowed her movements. "I do like to cheat my diet a little and go to Sonic every now and then. It's only when their corndogs are on sale." He then leaned close to the girl and a blush creeped on her cheeks. "Do you actually want to go to Sonic right now? They released some new pretzel twists and they're pretty cool." She turned the other way to hide her excitement as she zipped up her backpack. "Yeah sure that would be cool. I'll tell Donna that I'll be heading out with you then."
