Hello everyone. It's been over two years since I have touched this interesting story. I have been going on an emotional journey these past few years and only now realise that one of my biggest problems is I am afraid of ending things. So you know what? It's now my goal to go back and finish this. My magnum opus. I have to try and figure out what is actually happening in the story right now so if some characters just disappear and are never mentioned again pretend they never existed.

Castle Blox was like a constantly changing maze. No matter how many times Shrek explored it, he could never seem to figure out where anything was. The Memers had been wandering around for at least 30 seconds by now. Every hallway blended together like an egg in a HowToBasic video; Just one big pile of mush. I am not sure how that relates to hallways. Anyway, the point is they didn't know where they were nor did they know where they were going.

Cr1TiKaL, being the moistest of the gang, decided to start the dialogue in this chapter. "Shrek," he began to say in a masculine voice, "I think it is clear that we have no idea where we are going."

Shrek let out a mighty ogre roar that caused the entirety of the Castle to shake. The Memers went wide eyed as Shrek turned around with glowing green eyes.

The Ogrelord placed his hands on Cr1TiKaL's shoulders and shouted, "DO NOT QUESTION MY METHODS BOY!"

It took a moment for everyone to process what had just happened.

Cr1TiKaL locked eyes with the Ogre and said softly, "I was just saying. I never meant to anger you."

Shrek blinked rapidly before the glow disappeared from his eyes. He released his grip from The Moist Man and looked around as if he had no idea what had just happened.

"Well, that just happened," a mystified Jake Paul said.

"That also probably just alerted the entirety of the universe to our exact location," Mario pointed out.

Shrek glanced around him and lowered his stance. He shuttered with every word he spoke, "I don't know what came over me."

Rick Grimes, who seemed fixated on the ground, called out to everyone, "We need to move this way."

"What?"

Rick Grimes stood up and pointed down a hallway he was facing. "Keanu Reeves came through here not too long ago. I can smell him."

"Keanu…" Shrek gasped, "Does that mean he escaped? Or at least he tried to?"

Rick Grimes shook his head and exclaimed, "I don't know, but we need to move now. We need to move fast."

The sound of rushing footsteps from behind them caused the Memers to shut up and get a move on. Rick Grimes kept taking them through seemingly random turns. Whoever built Castle Blox was probably the same person who made the Winchester House. Wait, that was Sarah Winchester, so probably not.

The Gamers eventually made it to a large corridor that opened up into a courtyard. There was no door; The entirety of the entrance had been blown up by something. Rubble was scattered all over the ground in the hallway and the courtyard itself.

"Keep moving!"

They made their way out into the courtyard. Rick Grimes ran up the now destroyed armoury and stepped inside. At least, what was left of the inside. It's not like there was a roof or even walls. Just a floor.

"The trail, it stops here!" he yelled.

"That's not possible," Shrek claimed. "It's not like he could just teleport out of here!"

"I'm telling you that he didn't step a foot from this exact spot."

As they continued to argue, the footsteps grew louder. They did not even have a chance to try and run. Animals of every size and fries surrounded them.

Jake Paul almost laughed at what he was seeing. "Animals?" he asked with a chuckle. "I don't understand."

Several of the animals let out growls and snarls as they closed in on the Memers.

"We can't hurt them!" Mario yelled. "PETA would kill us instantly."

Suddenly, they all stopped.

"Mario?" a fox asked in perfect English.

All of the Memers turned to Mario for an explanation.

"We missed you!" a chicken shouted.

Without a second to react the animals gleefully jumped onto Mario in a dog pile. The Memers took a few steps back.

Cr1TiKaL laughed from the confusion. "I didn't know Mario was a furry."

Shrek slapped him and said, "No. Herobrine had kidnapped Mario and forced him to train an animal squad to protect the Castle. I guess he treated them well. Maybe not the raccoons."

Mario, being licked to death by every animal under the sun, shouted back, "That was more of your fault than anything."

"Wait!" Shrek suddenly shouted. "What just happened?"

Everyone looked around in a confused manner. Just then, Joe Biden appeared through a portal. "Everyone stay calm." Joe Biden looked older than a dried grape.

"Joe?" Mario questioned.

"It's been two years you morons. Herobrine set a trap that froze you in a time loop. You have been licked by animals for two years straight."

The Memers all let out a collective gasp. "That explains a lot."

"Now," Joe Biden said before anyone could continue, "Let's not forget the mission." He pulled out a gun and shot Jake Paul. With a loud thud Jake hit the floor, dead. "Jake Paul was actually not a Meme. That was a misinput on my part. You still need to find Spongebob. Luckily, I have a portal ready for you," he said as he waved his fingers around. A portal leading straight to Bikini Bottom opened. "Now finish this story before I am no longer President please."

Shrek, Thanos, Rick Grimes, Cr1TiKaL, and Mario all looked at each other before nodding. They each grabbed each other's hand and jumped through the portal. Thanos, with the help of the reality stone, made it so they could breathe underwater. They seemed to be in some kind of dark cave.

Cr1TiKaL did a triple backflip and exclaimed, "We're here!"

"Yeah, where?" Mario asked.

The Memers all carefully inspected their surroundings. Rick Grimes shined a flashlight that he apparently had down the cave. There was some kind of structure gleaming in the distance. Rick pointed this out to the others and they all slowly approached it. As they got closer they noticed a bunch of scattered lab equipment all around the place.

"Why would Joe send us here?" questioned Thanos.

Before anyone could answer, Rick called out to the others, "He's here!"

They all ran over to him to find Spongebob strapped down to a hospital bed. His appearance was nothing like the Spongebob they all knew. Parts of his body were replaced by metal, his left eye being completely robotic.

Shrek gasped, "What the snickerdoodles happened?"

A voice echoed from behind them, "I'll tell you what happened." They immediately turned around to see none other than Sandy Cheeks standing in the darkness. "Spongebob miscalculated." She approached the bed-bound Sponge. Placing one hand on his left pinky she said, "I had to rescue him from the moon after that. He barely made it out alive. The crash sent parts of his body flying around. Usually, Sponges regenerate no problem, but it seems space had some strange effects on his body."

Everyone stood in silence for a moment. Cr1TiKaL thought back to finding Keanu on the moon and how he lost Spongebob after that crash.

Shrek broke the silence soon after. "Sandy, Spongebob is the last piece of the puzzle to defeat Herobrine."

"I know," Sandy said before he could continue. "That's why I prepared him for this moment. All you need to do is awaken him." She gestured towards a switch that could only be seen with a microscope. Without hesitation, Shrek activated it.

Spongebob's eyes lit up in an instant. His body twitched rapidly as strange robotic sounds could be heard. Then, as if he had never been asleep, his body shot up. For a moment he sat perfectly still, but he soon slowly turned to inspect his surroundings. His eyes blinked carefully as he looked at everyone.

Finally, he broke the silence. "What happened?"

"Spongebob…"

"No. I don't need an explanation. I know the mission. I know my purpose." Spongebob suddenly jumped out of the bed. "We need to kill Herobrine. And we are the only ones who can do that." He turned to look at Sandy and gave her a faint smile. "Thank you, Sandy. I wish we had more time to reconnect."

Sandy let out a quick laugh, "We will have plenty of time in the near future. But for now, we have work to do." She turned around as if she had planned this the whole time and pulled a lever. A portal opened up that peered right into Castle Blox. "Well yall? Go save the world."

The Memers all gave each other a quick glance before turning to Sandy and giving her a nod. Without saying a word, they jumped into the portal. They appeared back in the courtyard of Castle Blox.

"Alright," Shrek said, "It's time to find Herobrine."

"I think I might know where he is." Mario claimed. "At the very top of the castle is a throne. No doubt in my mind that he would be sitting there waiting for us."

"Then let's go-" A blast shattered the castle wall in front of them. They all turned around to see Harry Potter, with no clothes on, pointing his wand at them.

"Enough," he said. "I have endured more than enough."

Rick Grimes stepped towards Harry, "Don't do this Harry, we can defeat Herobrine and stop him once and for all.

Harry let out a maniac laugh, "No… You don't understand how powerful he has become. Without him, this world has nothing left."

"We don't want to fight you!" Mario yelled.

Thanos raised his gauntlet and closed his fist, "And you sure don't want to fight us."

Harry seemed completely unphased, "This isn't going to go the way you think! Your master plan isn't going to stop him." He turned his wand towards Spongebob. "Just because you finally found him changes nothing!" Harry's wand began to glow.

"Stop!" they yelled.

"It's over. The world is fractured and broken. You'll see, even if you manage to defeat him, the world will never recover."

Shrek stepped in front of everyone else and exclaimed, "That doesn't mean we shouldn't try to fix things!"

Harry's wand was glowing brighter by the second. A sound reminiscent of a beam from a 2010 superhero movie began emanating from it. "It's over… ERECTUS MA-!"

All of them stood in place as Shrek prepared to take the blast. As Harry's wand grew brighter, so too did Thanos' gauntlet. Then, a bright flash overtook the courtyard. Shrek fell onto the ground, his eyes blinded and his ears ringing. As his vision slowly returned to him, he desperately searched for his fellow Memers. He quickly spotted Mario and Rick spooning each other, Spongebob disoriented but unharmed, and Cr1TiKaL standing there as if nothing happened. But he failed to find Thanos or Harry.

He pulled himself up and ran over to Spongebob. He offered the Sponge a hand and got him back on his feet. The courtyard was in ruins as if a nuclear bomb was dropped on them. Yet, none of them seemed to be in any physical pain. Rick and Mario got up right after.

"THANOS!" Shrek yelled. But he got no response. Before panic could fully set in, he finally spotted the purple grape laying still under some rubble. He ran over and removed as much debris from Thanos as he could. "Thanos?" he said again.

Thanos let out a cough before sitting up. "I did what had to be done." He twisted his arm to show Shrek the gauntlet. To the shock of both of them, all of the stones were gone. "That's impossible…"

"What happened?" asked Shrek.

"I was trying to use the stones to stop Harry, but I couldn't. Something was holding them back. I had to use all my strength, all the power of the stones… to wipe him from existence."

Shrek offered a hand to Thanos, "You did what had to be done. It was either him, or the world."

As Thanos got up he said, "Without the Infinity Stones, much of my power is lost. My greatest weapon is gone." He grabbed the gauntlet with his free hand and harshly pulled it off.

"It's fine. We the Memers reunited, we have all the power we need to defeat Herobrine."

A thunderous voice echoed throughout the courtyard, "Are you sure about that?" Shrek, Thanos, Cr1TiKaL, Mario, Rick Grimes, and Spongebob all turned towards the entrance of the castle. Standing there, without fear in his eyes (I mean he doesn't have eyes), was their greatest enemy. "You think that reuniting the Memers is going to magically defeat me?" Herobrine unsheathed his diamond sword from his back. It glowed a bright pink.

"Shrek…" Cr1TiKaL whispered to Shrek, "What do we do?"

Shrek turned to look at his comrades one last time. "We fight."
