Chapter 22: Ambush:

Reuban's POV:

"How could you all let them get away," asks Ezekiel.

I noTticed something about him. It seems the moe he uses that book, the moe black stains he gets on his clothes. I then realized he was quiTte turning into something himself! I can't take this anymoe! I agreed to this because Delphine turned me down! All I'm doing is helping a mad man creaTte monsters and now he's turning into one! What if people find out what we've been doing? "I want out," I said.

"What," asks Ezekiel.

"This is all mad," I said, "I don't want to keep ambushing people with horrible transformaTtions! I quit! I no longer seek women! Now, I seek my freedom!"

"Backing out of our deal," asks Ezekiel, "we'll see about that!" Figue then grabbed my arms, and Ezekiel uses the book, and I was quiTte scaed...

...

Now I'm a giant whiTte face with a monstrous, abnormally large oval mouth lined with three rows of inner teeth, a set of large, round, black hollow eyes with gray-green bags under them, as well as emitting a green aua, and a smaller pink one which can only be seen on walls, floors and ceilings!

"This is what you get for backing out of our deal," says Ezekiel.
