Hey everyone, so this is a lot faster than my other updates, There's a reason for that. So I've been rereading this awesome story on AO3, it's called "Haryana and the Determination to make the Adults Deal with the Adult Problems" and it's really awesome. It's actually inspired me to write a new story, I'm a little hesitant posting it since it's a topic I've not written about before but I really like it and I have big plans, I was uninspired to write until I started the first chapter and then my inspo came back like a monster!

And it wasn't just inspiration for writing, no I've been writing songs, posting more on my gacha club youtube channel (Yes I have one, no I am not ashamed), and recording more videos for my Gaming youtube channel! I'm really energized with this story, I hope you all like it if you don't that's fine though.

Anyways, this story was interesting to write since I don't write fight scenes often (At all) so I hope I did it right? I hope things felt balanced in the fight, I didn't want to make Adriane too strong but I also didn't want to make her too weak either.

Hey, I normally don't leave reviews as my time online is normally very restricted, however I do have quite a bit of time right now, so I decided to leave one. I really like this story and have been following it for a while. I was starting to worry that you would abandon it with how little you were updating it, but I'm glad to hear you're not. As for the ChatGPT, if you use it as a tool to help you with proper grammar and sentence structure and nothing else, I say go for it. You're not using it to do the work for you, just as a form of Beta reader, which for me is fine. Please keep up the great work, I'm really enjoying this story.

curse you for leaving a Cliffhanger. they pissed off the wrong person. lol awesome job really like how you incorporated dbz and I can't wait to find out what is up with adriane's abilities.

Me: Thanks, I've had the idea of how to introduce the DBZ world into the story for years now, I knew when I wanted them to be introduced but until a few months ago I didn't know how to make Adriane join in the fight.

Onto the story!

Adriane stood in the middle of the battlefield staring at the two men before her, she knew this wouldn't be easy. In fact, this would be very difficult to pull off, she might be well trained but outside of a handful of incidents she never had to use her full powers in a fight to the death. When she trained in the time chamber with Clara there was no risk of death, she was trained into the ground but at the end of the day, Adriane knew that Clara wouldn't kill her during their training.

The little time she had to train with Superman was the same, it was just training not life or death. She knew that if she made a mistake and lost the spar then Superman wouldn't kill her, he would help her up and patently teach her what she did wrong and how she could improve.

That wasn't the case here, if she messed up, if she were too slow or too weak then she would die. She knew she couldn't brute force her way through this so she would have to outsmart Nappa.

She could already tell that unless Nappa lost Vegeta wouldn't join the fight, this was good because she had a feeling that the prince was stronger than him.

She stood on the battlefield waiting for Nappa to make the first move, she had learned from Clara that it was better to let your opponent make the first move in a fight so you can counter them better, Adriane knew that she would need every last bit of strength she had to get through this alive.

She kept her eyes on Nappa so she didn't see the surprised and thankful look of Tien behind her, he hadn't been expecting anyone to be able to intervene and pull him out of the way, least of all another Saiyan.

Nappa scowled at the young girl, his earlier surprise melting away as he smirked, "You think your eyes and some fancy words will scare us? As if, we're Saiyan elites while you're a half-breed brat with a death wish, a wish I'm willing to fulfill!" he clenched his fists, his knuckles cracking as he got ready to charge at her.

Up above Vegeta was observing the fight with an air of disinterest, 'I've never heard of there being a Saiyan and Kryptonian hybrid, it doesn't matter though, Kryptonians are well known to be weak so even if this brat is half Saiyan she's still no match for Nappa."

He let out a dark chuckle, "Don't get cocky brat, you're no match for Nappa here. Nappa, make this fast, we still have to find out where the dragon balls are."

Adriane decided to speak up, this was the best time as any to figure out what the fuck these dragon ball things are.

"What the fuck are Dragon Balls? You've mentioned them before and these guys behind me know what they are, I really hope you're not talking about actual Dragon Balls because that's gross,"

She saw Nappa's face plant in the ground and heard one of the others do the same behind her, taking a quick glance she saw that it was Krillin who immediately shot back to his feet yelling.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT DRAGON BALLS ARE? WHY ARE YOU FIGHTING THESE TWO THEN?" He screamed to the high heavens, it was clear the others were just as confused.

Adriane turned around when Vegeta spoke up next, "Yes, I have to admit I too am curious. If you do not know what the dragon balls are, then why are you fighting us?" The Prince raised an eyebrow.

"You killed some of my last remaining family when you destroyed that town," She deadpanned, "I just got them back after going my entire life without family and just as we started relaxing and enjoying ourselves you killed them while they were shopping for my birthday gifts," She glared up at the man with anger in her eyes.

Krillian winced when hearing the reason this kid was here, he couldn't imagine how that would have felt, and the kid's birthday was soon. What a hell of a way to celebrate the day you were born.

Adriane's gaze snapped back at Nappa when he let out a growl and started to charge at her, she shifted her stance like Clark and Clara had taught her and dodged out of the way at the last second, vanishing from sight. She went so fast that she caused a gust of wind that sent dust in all directions.

Nappa stood looking around for her, eyes narrowed when she appeared behind him and used a powerful energy blast to punch him with sending him flying across the battlefield and causing him to crash into a nearby cliff.

She stood there in the air staring at the mound of rocks that covered Nappa waiting for him to emerge, her hands were charged with energy. During her training, she had learned that if she formed energy around her fists she could use them as boxing gloves that enhanced her punches. If things got tough while fighting she could then use the energy as a beam to knock her opponent away.

The group of fighters that were fighting against the Saiyan's stared in shock, Gohan and Krillin were in awe. "She's so fast," Gohan whispered with wide eyes, staring at the girl who had managed to hit a solid punch on Nappa when they hadn't been able to cause a scratch.

Tien nodded in agreement, his eyes never leaving the girl who had saved him, "I've never seen anything like it, not even Goku was as fast as she is when he was her age."

Piccolo stared at the girl, his eyes narrowed, "It's not over yet, she might have got a hit on him but that's just going to make him madder," His eyes moved toward the mound of rocks as the ground started to shake.

Nappa broke out of the rock pile and glared up at her, before she could respond he lunged at her with terrifying speed, the ground under him cracked and caused a small crator as he dashed forward. He aimed a punch right at her face, Adriane dodged just in time and responded by aiming a quick kick to right under his ribs.

He caught her foot and smirked at her before spinning around several times, holding her leg tightly before throwing her at the ground. It was clear he had hoped to make her too dizzy to stop her descent by doing this but thankfully for Adriane, she managed to stop right before she would have hit the ground.

She narrowed her eyes and used her laser eyes, she managed to hit him in the shoulder, it broke through his armor and burnt his shoulder causing him to let out a surprised cry and quickly grab it in shock. He turned to glare at her before charging at her.

He punched her in the gut before she could dodge and then kicked her into the ground when she doubled over, she crashed into the ground hard enough to form a small crater around her body, Nappa landed on the edge of the crater and looked down at her with a dark smirk.

"Not bad," Nappa said, his voice full of arrogance and glee, "But it'll take a lot more than that to actually hurt me brat, if you're this weak then I can't imagine how weak your family was, maybe it's good I killed them before they could add their genes to the population."

Adriane narrowed her eyes and felt new strength fill her, how dare he, how dare he mock her family like that! He might be strong but she wouldn't give up, she jumped up and charged at Nappa, she weaved around his punches and delivered sharp jabs to to midsection and his joints. She wasn't using her full power in the jabs but she was using enough so he didn't realize she was testing him, she was trying to figure out his weak points.

No one jab hit the same place twice, each Jab was aimed at a different part of the body and soon she smirked, she got what she needed so she jumped back and glared as she caught her breath. Nappa was laughing clearly enjoying the fight more than she expected but then again she could feel the burning in her blood that lived for the thrill of battle singing too. She could feel her Saiyan heritage rise up with each punch she dodged and each jab she placed, it was a big addicting if she was being honest.

The burn in her veins, the singing in her blood, the thrill of the fight, it was all something she didn't know she was missing but she had enough presents of mind to know that she could not allow herself to get lost in it. She realized that she wasn't being overcome with the lust for battle thanks to her Kryptonian and human DNA, it was helping her keep her mind instead of giving in to the battle.

She narrowed her eyes when Nappa started taunting her.

"You've got some spirit, kid! I haven't had a fight like this in ages, if you're looking for a job I'm sure we can put in a good word with Freeza for you!" He laughed as he got ready to fight again.

"No? Well, that's a shame, we could always use more fighters," Nappa's eyes narrowed, still gleaming with the glee of the fight.

Down on the ground, the other fighters watched, unsure what to do. Nappa was so much stronger than them and this girl was holding her own against him decently.

Finally, Krillin spoke up, "We can't let her fight him alone, she might be holding her own against him now but what happens when she starts wearing down?" He stared at the girl and tried to figure out how old she was, she was too young to be in a fight like this, "She's strong, but Nappa is still stronger and too much for someone to take on alone!"

Piccolo nodded in agreement, watching the fight as it continued with narrowed eyes, "I don't like this either, but we need to wait for the right moment. If we rush in now we'll only distract this girl and get in her way."

Gohan was standing behind Piccolo and watched as the girl was punched and thrown all over the battlefield, yes she was doing the same to Nappa in return but it was clear she couldn't keep this up forever. "But we have to help her Mr. Piccolo!"

The green man looked down at Gohan, "I know kid, but we can't help her if we get in her way.

Back in the air Nappa rushed forward again, this time more aggressive, and started throwing rapid strikes. Adriane tried to dodge as many as she could but he was fast. He landed a powerful punch in her stomach, she gasped as the air was knocked from her lungs. She didn't have a chance to adjust herself or get her breath back as Nappa followed up with a brutal kick to her side, sending her crashing into a nearby cliff face, shattering it on impact.

She lay there for a moment before she groaned and pushed herself up, glaring at Nappa who was floating in the air, laughing at her pain. She reached up and wiped something from her lips, pulling her hand away she saw that it was blood. She looked back up at Nappa and clenched her hands tight.

"You sure you don't want a job?" Nappa's mocking laughter burned in her ears and she growled, she shot back up into the air and launched herself at Nappa, using energy to enhance her punches again and sent Nappa flying into the ground causing another crator in the ground.

She glared down at the Saiyan and growled out, "You talk too much for a dead man," She quickly dodged out of the way when Nappa shot back at her, she used her energy-enhanced punches to hit every weak spot she had found earlier, using her speed to dodge his

This didn't last long since Nappa finally got a lucky hit on her and caused her to be thrown into the ground next to the other fighters, she glared up at him as she wiped more blood from her lips. She silently worried that she had internal bleeding but she knew she couldn't stop fighting, there was no way she could give up.

This had started out as her getting revenge for her family being killed but it turned into needing to defend the earth from these people, she wished that there hadn't been an emergency in space that needed most of the Justice League to deal with, only a few people had been left behind to defend the earth, one of them being Batman.

She refused to call Bruce for this, as strong as he was he was still just a human and he was the last of her family left. She couldn't, no she wouldn't, lose him.

With this thought in mind she launched herself at Nappa, determination to keep her last remaining family safe fueling her, she ducked under his first punch and used the chance to deliver a sharp elbow to his jaw that she followed up with a knee to his stomach as hard as she could. Nappa grunted, clearly feeling the pain of the strike, he should since Adriane made sure to aim at where his kidneys should be.

He tried to retaliate with a heavy backhand but Adriane anticipated him trying to hit her and dodged to the side, countering with a powerful roundhouse kick to his head, the impact sent Nappa stumbling throwing his balance off temporarily.

Adriane took advantage of the opportunity and flew into the air, using energy to reinforce her fists again as she ground them down hard on his back, sending him crashing into the ground. Dust and debris flew up from the impact and for a moment all was calm.

That was until an energy blast shot out from the dust cloud, not aimed at Adriane but Tien! Adriane's eyes widened and she started shooting towards the three-eyed man but it was clear she wouldn't make it in time. The small man who looked like a doll tried to push the taller one out of the way but got stuck in the blast. The blast hit the two and caused an explosion, more dust and debris flew in every direction forcing everyone to shield their eyes, Adriane included. She kept flying towards the blast zone, horror filling her when she saw the two lying there motionless.

She started shaking as anger and pain filled her and she turned her sights back to Nappa, the group behind her let out sounds of shock and pain at the sight of their comrades lying motionless on the ground. She glared as she saw Nappa laughing at the misery he caused.

"YOU COWARD!" She screamed at him, her words caused him to stop and stare at her, "YOU COULDN'T BEAT ME SO YOU WENT AFTER SOMEONE YOU WEREN'T EVEN FIGHTING? YOU'RE A COWARD NAPPA YOU HEAR ME? HOW DARE YOU!" She screamed louder, her screams causing a sonic wave to form and hit Nappa sending him flying back.

Adriane was shaking in fury, if it wasn't clear before that this man had no honor then it was now. She glanced at the group behind her, at least it hadn't been the kid who had been killed even if he was going to need a lot of therapy as he grew up.
