Kim clapped her hands just as the first dancer took position before her. Each person danced before her and showed great improvement except for the one girl who refused to take advice. "Alright I'm very proud of most of you! You have shown incredible progress in your time with me. I hope that you all learned a few things about discipline, work ethic and technique. And I hope you all learned that you need to practice, rehearse, stretch, exercise and eat better. On your way out I have two separate packets of information for you all. One in exercise programs and stretches to do. And one is about proper eating as a dancer. Please do yourselves the favor and take them. Good luck to you all! And thank you for being my students this past week." Kim shook each persons hands as they left her studio. Paperwork in hand.
The last person left her apartment and Kim locked the door. She headed start to her room to shower and get packed. Adam would be home any minute to leave for their weekend away. Kim was in the shower when she heard Adam enter the bathroom. "Darling is it too late to join you?" Adam asked before stripping down. "Come on in. I just got in." Kim was already washing her hair when Adam stepped in behind her. "I'm so happy to be home with you. As soon as we pack let's get on the road. It's a short drive but I want as much time with you away as possible." Adam grabbed her body wash and started to wash her body for her.
"I can't wait to be away with you too. It will be nice to turn our phones off, snuggle up on the couch and just enjoy each other's company. I just want to spend time with you forever." Kim smiled feeling his hands on her body. "That's all I too. Only difference is I would prefer naked!" Adam laughed. "I never said anything about being dressed!" Kim laughed. "Good to know! Let's get finished up so we could go." Adam kissed her quickly before he finished getting washed up. They both finished up getting showered before they got dried up and dressed. They packed a few things quickly, mostly warm clothes. Then they headed off to the small lake house that Adam had rented for them.
Like Adam said it was a very short ride but it seemed like they were in a world away. It was peaceful, tranquil and covered in snow. It was almost the end of February and it was beyond cold. But the cottage had a fireplace and they would make good use of it this weekend. Adam grabbed both their bags and helped Kim to the door. He didn't want her to slip on the snow and ice. Once they entered the home they were immediately hit by the warmth of the home. "My goodness this is adorable! I love it here already." Kim looked around with wonder. "I'm glad you like it. "How about we get settled in before we start messing around." Adam led her to the bedroom showing her the bathroom along the way. Kim unpacked her things while Adam just opened his suitcase. Adam poured some champagne, got out some strawberries and put raspberries in the glasses. "Oh fancy baby!" Kim giggled taking a sip. "Okay a toast! To us! But more importantly to you, Kim. The love of my life! I know we already agreed to marry each other but I wanted to make this more official." Adam took the ring out his pocket and got down on one knee. "Kimberly Burgess I love you more than life itself. Will you please do me the incredible honor of being my wife?" Adam asked with the box open. "Oh absolutely!" Kim screamed pulling him up in to her arms. "I love you too baby! I can't wait to marry you!" Kim kissed him long and hard.
He slid the ring on to her finger as he watched tears falling down her cheeks. "Darling. I'm so happy. And I can't wait to marry you too! The sooner the better!" "Well good on the courthouse thing because that wasn't an option. What about November? The first weekend? Then we can honeymoon before I go back to work. Does that work?" Kim asked stripping her clothes and settling on the bed.
Adam stripped down as well as Kim was talking. "That works for me. What kind of wedding are you thinking?" Adam laid down and brought Kim to sit on top of him. "Nothing to big. Definitely here in Chicago. We would only have a week for a honeymoon so I'm thinking not too far of a trip. I don't want to lose 2 days of travel for a longer trip. "That sounds nice. I don't need or want anything too fancy. So this sounds perfect for us. Especially with your love of the water. Anything else you have planned?" Adam squeezed her hips encouraging her to voice whatever she was thinking. "I'm going back and forth about my retirement. I for sure want to take time off when I hit 30. But I might want to go back after we have a child. Like not right away but maybe by 32? I'm just not sure I'm done performing yet. I know it years away but I'm just not sure about that yet." She hung her head low. "Hey. Look at me." Adam lifted her chin so their eyes met. "Kim darling! That's forever away. We have plenty of time to decide about that. And if you really want to go back then we will work it out. We get a nanny for nights we both work. That's fine. I promise we will work it out. "And they will! And you will too. We will try all these things together. I told my team I'm bound and determined to give you all the childhood experiences you never had. The painting date night I saw the pure happiness. So I already knew we needed to do some of those things. And we will. But I agree having a place here will be a great place for you to relax and get the experiences you want. It's perfect for all of us. We can even let the team use it when we can't. I think it will be a great opportunity for us, for the family we are creating together." He watched her getting more excited by the minute.
"I think I owe you a very big thank you for helping make this dream come true. So I think it's shower time?" Kim winked at him smiling slyly. She got up slowly and strutted to the bathroom. Adam was quick behind her. "You never have to thank me for making a dream come true. But I will gladly take you up on your offer for shower sex."
