So...By this point in time Glass Joe isn't the only WVBA Boxer to have reproduced, I realized as I was writing The Other Side of the Story that during the events of the Mutant Riots Don Flamenco and Carmen probably found a quiet corner to do the deed and Carmen was probably already pregnant when she begged Don Flamenco not to join a mutant hunting party...Really it probably was a survival instinct that kicked in in case the world became of 'Planet of the Mutants' thus Jose named in honor of Glass Joe doing the math since the Mutant Riots took place in July he was born in the May of that year making him only few months older than Lily

The next day Glass Joe brought Lily to the WVBA, to his surprise Don Flamenco had also brought Jose with him so the two could get to know each other, by this point the boy was six months old to Lily's four but Lily was already so much more advanced she was physically more akin to a two year old toddler in terms of mobility.

"Remember the first time Little Lirlo over and she climbed out of the pen?" Don Flamenco asked with a wry smile as he set his son down in the pen, the boy instantly smiled and laughed as Lily came over and sniffed his face "Perhaps my boy will get her to stay put...My boy! He should have all the ladies flock to him!"
"Even if those ladies are of different species?" Glass Joe asked with an eyebrow raised he was too worried to be much in the mood for jokes "Dana isn't like other Mutants, she was created specifically to be attracted to human men.

This took a bit of the wind out of the Spaniard's sails as they stopped and watched Lily take her squeaky bone toy in her mouth and give it to Jose to share it, Don Flamenco asked "So what do you think will happen to Lirlo? You think she will take after Madre?"

"We don't know…" Joe sighed "...With Dana it was the result of genetic engineering and training...The doctors said it is very likely to be passed down but they still didn't know for sure…"
Seeing just how despondent Joe was over the whole situation (Von Kaiser hadn't even shown up today, he did call saying he was going to 'rest' today everyone was worried he was taking certain medicines to essentially 'knock himself out' so he didn't potentially have an aneurysm worrying about his adopted daughter...It's bad enough fearing for the life of your spouse entirely another worrying for the life of a child! The Don decided to drop with his usual cocky self and speak from the heart.

"You're taking this far better than I would have…" Don Flamenco said as he began pacing back and forth as Joe sat forlornly at a table. "...I know those Tortugas said if they didn't go willingly they'd probably just be kidnapped by...Wooden warriors…" The Don spat "...Well I would have told them I would fight through a hundred men before they took my Carmen! And more then that...Thinking about that poor Little Pez who says she can't fight or else she'll lose her healing magic! Why does this White Ronin want someone who can't fight?"

Meanwhile for the Mutants who had been sent on a trip, since they left New York at about 9 PM, they mostly slept through the plane ride otherwise they would have noticed there was no in-flight movie when they arrived at Hawaii at 7 AM the next day they were all still very tired and mostly just shuffled onto the next plane to take them to Japan where they mostly slept some more waking up around lunchtime just as the food was arriving they arrived at a tiny Japanese Island...As the they listened to the sound of the departing aircraft...A single elderly Japanese man approached them...He did not make a sound but motioned for them to follow him through the woods, he was unarmed and wore formal robes…

So now I can begin using some material from the adventure, there is going to be at least two more days of rest and recovery before the Game of Death begins which is good because I can use it to build up what the Boxers and the Turtles are doing as it slowly becomes clear something is amiss
