Her breathing was ragged, hot, and dry. Swallowing her saliva did nothing to try and appease her throat that was becoming more and more dry with each breath. Blood, not her own, matted down her once blonde hair and dripped down her face. It would've obscured her vision had she not wiped it away with her arm.

Damn four eyed bastards, even their blood is filthy, she couldn't help but think as she stared at the dark redish, green blood. She was about to wipe the blood onto something else when three figures came around a corner. They were a humanoid in shape, bipedal, two arms, and a short neck connecting their head to their shoulders. But that was where the similarities ended. For these beings had an oblong shaped head, four eyes, four nostrils, and various shades of green and tan tones for their skin.

"Batarians," she all but spat out at the sight of the only race in the Milky Way to actively, and wholly, engage in the slavery of other sentient species.

One of them spotted her and had a sneer on it's face. "Another of their females." The other two seemed to snort and began to walk toward her in a confident manner. "We can do this the easy," the same one said with his deep baritone voice. "Or the fun way." He patted a device at his side. It looked like a canister and if what she saw earlier was any indication, it was some kind of net launching tool for capturing living beings. "Either way, it'll be fun for us."

She could feel all twelve of their eyes roaming over her body as they checked her out and she couldn't help but grind her teeth together as she could practically see what thoughts ran through their heads of what they might do to her especially when they stopped to stare at her chest and rear. But the look on the Batarians face went from one of condescendence and lust to one of confusion as a grin that split her face appeared instead of the usual fear.

"You are right about one thing," a neon blue, water-like fire rose from her all over her body. "This will be fun."

"Shit! She's a Biotic!" The lead Batarian yelled as he started to go for the rigle he had on his back, the others starting to aim theirs.

"Too late!" She thrusted her arm forward as an orb of Dark Energy slammed into the lead Batarian and lifted him helplessly into the air. The orb stayed where it hit him and the blue flame-water light expanded exponentially to ensnare the two others.

"ShitShitShit!" "Put me down! Put me down!" "Someone shoot her already!" They all spoke over each other as they flailed helplessy in the air. Her eyes hardened and the cheshire grin disappeared from her face as with her still thrusted arm, she began to close her hand into a fist.

The three Batarians screamed as they all started to be pulled toward the orb of Dark Energy and slowly, they were being pulled in against each other. She didn't want to make this quick after all but she did have to rush this a bit more than what they deserved. As their bones broke and flesh tore, the screamed towards whatever gods they believed in as they begane to be compressed into an orb like mass of flesh and armor before a final crunch was heard and their screams were silenced.

The orb of what used to be Batarians just simply dropped to the dirt with a wet plopping sound and stsrted to roll a bit on some seemingly invisible slope. The bright red blood of a Human trickled out of her nose from all the Biotic powers she had used today and she couldn't help it when some exhaustion kicked in and she fell on her rear gasping for air. The girl only had one thought as she look at the destruction of what had once been her home.

Damn you Being X!
