Main Jaldi yeh story khatm karke new story start karungi.
Daya: Kuch gadbad zaroor hai aur mujhe pata lagana hoga.
Then his eyes fell on a masked man, who was secretly watching them.
Daya: Hey ruko, kon ho tum.
The man starts running, Daya also starts chasing him but suddenly he disappears.
Daya: Kon ho sakta hai wo?
Just then someone placed a hand on his shoulder, he immediately held that hand and when he looked back, his wife was there
Shreya: Kya kar rhe ho?
Daya: Oh tum ho.
Shreya: Kya hua? Abhijeet sir se baat krne aaye the na? Hui baat?
Daya: Nhi, wo baat hi nhi karna chahta humse.
Shreya: Bahut naraz hain wo.
Daya: Nhi shreya, kuch toh ajeeb hai. I mean wo forensic lab main bhi kaavi ajeeb behave kr raha tha aur abhi bhi khud ko sameer bata raha tha.
Shreya: Sameer? Yeh kon hai?? Yeh naam pehle suna hai kya aapne?
Daya: Nhi. Pr pata lagana hoga kuch toh hai jo bahut ajeeb hai aur hume hamare abhi se door kr raha hai.
Shreya: Yeh sab ghar chalkr sochte hain. Bahut time ho gya hai chaliye.
Daya: Haan.
Next morning, Purvi came early to the bureau.
Abhi sat at his desk, engrossed in his files. His intense focus was almost palpable.
Purvi's face lit up with a warm smile as she approached him.
Purvi: Good Morning Sir.
She expected a response, but Abhi merely looked up, his eyes locking onto hers for a fleeting moment before returning to his files.
Undeterred, Purvi placed a chocolate on the edge of his desk, next to his coffee cup.
Purvi: aapke liye laayi hu lijiye.
Abhi's expression remained stoic, but his eyes flickered to the chocolate.
Suddenly, his demeanor shifted.
Abhi: Chocolates!
A childlike excitement crept into his voice. Abhi's eyes sparkled, and his face transformed into a youthful, mischievous grin. Purvi was taken aback by the sudden change.
Abhi unwrapped the chocolate.
Abhi: Good Morning.
Purvi: Morning sir.
Abhi: Sir? Tum mujhe jeet bula sakti ho.
Purvi's eyes widened, unsure how to react.
Purvi: O..okay!
Jeet's eyes sparkled as he pulled a chair beside him.
Abhi: Betho yahan.
Purvi's hesitation dissipated as she sat down, her smile growing wider.
Jeet began to chatter excitedly, sharing stories. Purvi listened attentively, her eyes shining with amusement.
As she sat beside him, Purvi's thoughts drifted to Abhijeet, the man she had secretly admired from some days.
Purvi's heart skipped a beat as Jeet's hand brushed against hers, his touch innocent and carefree. She felt a flutter in her chest, her secret crush on Abhi intensifying.
As Jeet continued to talk, Purvi found herself captivated by the contrast between Abhi's serious demeanor and Jeet's playful nature.
Abhi: Tumhara favorite cartoon konsa hai?
Purvi: Cartoon? Bachpan mai dekhti thi bahut..
Purvi's laughter escaped, and she shared her childhood favorite. Jeet squealed in delight, launching into an animated discussion.
Time flew as they chatted, Purvi's initial confusion replaced by a deepening connection.
As Jeet continued to chat, his eyelids began to droop, and his words slurred. Purvi's eyes widened in surprise as he rested his head on the desk, fast asleep.
She couldn't help but smile at the sudden turn of events. This was a side of Abhi she never knew existed.
Purvi's fingers twitched with the urge to touch him. She hesitated for a moment before gently ruffling his hair.
Jeet's peaceful expression deepened, and he snuggled into the touch.
Purvi's heart swelled with affection. She had never been this close to Abhi before.
Purvi: Aapka bhi samjh nhi aata kabhi itna ignore karte hain kabhi itni friendship dikhate hain. Shayad inhe kaam ke time baatein karna pasand nhi.
Just as she was savoring the moment, a car honk outside broke the silence.
Reality dawned on Purvi – the bureau would soon bustle with arriving colleagues. She gently shook Jeet's shoulder.
Purvi: Jeet uthiye, Sab aate hi honge iss waqt sona sahi nhi. Acp sir daantenge.
Jeet's eyes fluttered open, confusion etched on his face.
As awareness returned, Abhi's expression transformed, and he sat up straight.
Abhi: What the hell are you doing here haa??
Purvi's smile faltered, unsure how to react. His eyes were not sparkling anymore. Instead it were black to red and rageful.
Purvi: J..jeet kya hua.?
Abhi: Jeet nhi, Sameer hu mai samjhi aur tum mere saath kya kar rhi ho?
Purvi: Ac...actually..
Abhi: Actually what?? You ungrateful b*tch. Tum pakka abhijeet ka peeche kr rhi ho.. I'm warning you! Stay away from him! Got it?
He spat harshly and went away. she was teary, and not so soon she was silently crying, she was so hurt.
The CID bureau buzzed with activity, but Purvi's focus remained on her work, her eyes avoiding Abhijeet.
Now, as the day drew to a close, Purvi packed her belongings, eager to escape the tension.
As she walked towards the door, Abhi stepped in front of her, blocking her path.
Purvi: k..kya kar rhe ho aa..aap?
She couldn't manage but stuttered out as she was so scared. She backed away a bit, fear visible in her eyes.
He frowned and looked down sadly.
Abhi: kya maine tu..tumhe bhi chot phunchayi?? Ab tum meri dost nhi rhi??
His voice was soft.
Purvi: jeet?
He looked up and smiled slightly.
Abhi: Yes pookie.
She blushed slightly.
Abhi: Kya tum mujhse dosti nhi rakhogi??
Purvi: kisne kaha?? Hum toh bhut ache dost hain aur aapse dosti todkr mai itna acha dost kyu khoungi bhala?
He suddenly smiled cheekily, hugging her. She was startled a bit but she knew he has a clingy personality sometimes. She giggled, he pulled out.
Abhi: Thankyou soo much purvi! i love you so much!!
She looked at him shocked, he was smiling widely. She smiled back too, ignoring thousands of butterflies that erupted in her stomach.
Abhi: Kya tum mujhse naraz ho?
Purvi: Haan thodi si.
Abhi: I'm sorry, tum jo bologi main karunga. You are my only friend, don't be angry at me.
Purvi: saath main chai peene chaloge toh naraz nahi rahungi.
Abhi: Thek hai chalunga.
At the cozy café, they settled into a quiet corner, sipping their steaming cups.
Abhi: Kya hum date pe aaye hain?
Purvi chuckled, and her face turned bright red.
Purvi: May.. bee..
As they chatted, Purvi's gaze drifted around the café. Suddenly, she sensed being watched.
Her eyes locked onto a figure by the window – a man wearing a mask, goggles, and a cap.
Purvi's instincts kicked in. She tried to rise, but Abhi's hand grasped hers, holding her back.
Abhi: kahan jaa rahi ho?
Purvi: Wo actually wahan koi hai.
Abhi: Kon hai?
Purvi: Pta nhi shayad wo hum par nazar rakhe hue hai, kal jab hum lunch kar rhe the maine tab bhi use dekha tha.
Abhi: Chai peene aaya hoga wo bhi.
Purvi: Lekin--
Abhi's grip on her hand remained, his touch sending shivers down her spine.
Abhi: Chai piyo thandi ho jayegi.
Purvi nodded, her mind racing with questions.
Who was the masked man? And why was he watching them?
As they finished their tea, Purvi's gaze drifted back to the spot where the masked man had stood.
But he was gone. She shrugged, chiding herself for being paranoid.
Just then, her phone rang.
On call.
Purvi: Haan maa?
Mom: Kahan ho beta? Kitna time ho gaya aayi nhi?
Purvi: Maa main wo sir ke saath hu thodi der main aati hu.
Mom: Bata deti na hum chinta kar rhe the, tere papa bhi puch rahe the.
Purvi: Aati hun kuch der mai. Bye.
Purvi glanced at Abhi, who was watching her with interest.
Purvi: Sir hume ghar chalna chahiye.
Abhi nodded. As they stepped out of the café, Purvi scanned the surrounding area, but the masked man was nowhere to be seen.
Their walk to the parking lot was silent, Purvi's mind shifting between the masked man.
As they strolled to the parking lot, Purvi felt a sense of ease with Abhi. But her tranquility was short-lived.
The sound of a car door closing made her turn. Abhi still stood near the stairs.
Confusion gripped Purvi. If Abhijeet was there, who was in the car? She tried to peek inside, but the tinted windows obscured her view.
Suddenly, she saw Abhi holding his head. She went to him and kept a hand on his arm.
Purvi: Sir, are you okay?
Abhi: Don't touch me. How many times do I have to tell you Han?
Abhi growled, his eyes shining.
Purvi: Sir main bas..
Abhi: Get lost.
Purvi recoiled, stunned by his sudden change. She hadn't expected this harshness, especially after their warm tea date.
Without a word, Purvi turned and walked towards the main gate, her heart heavy.
Abhi sat in his car, massaging his temples as another headache struck.
Abhi: Yeh achank se firse sar dard kyun hone laga.
As he glanced in the rearview mirror, his heart sank. The masked man sat on the back seat, his eyes fixed on Abhi.
Abhi: Tum..
Abhi spun around, but before he could react, the masked man sprayed a substance in his face.
Abhi's world darkened, his consciousness slipping away.
The masked man moved to the front seat, struggling to undo Abhi's seatbelt. Just as he grasped the buckle, a knock on the window shattered the silence.
Purvi's knock on the window shattered the tense silence. The masked man's eyes darted towards her, his grip on the seatbelt tightening.
But as Purvi's worried face peered into the car, the masked man's confidence faltered. He slowly slipped out of the car, disappearing into the shadows.
Purvi's heart raced as she opened the door, her eyes locking onto Abhijeet's slumped figure. She pulling his limp body towards her.
Purvi: sir, uthiye sir please aankhein kholiye.
Abhi's head lolled to one side, his eyes were closed. Purvi's hands trembled as she gently shook him.
Purvi's anxiety grew, She instantly pulled out her phone and dialed Daya's number.
On Call.
Purvi: Hello.
Daya: Haan purvi?
Purvi: Sir aap bureau aajaiye please.
Daya: Sab thek hai na?
Purvi: Abhijeet sir behosh ho gaye hain.
Daya: KYA? Kaise?
Purvi: Pta nahi sir, wo car main toh bethe the pr jab 15 minute tak na bahar nikle na car chalayi toh dekhne aayi aur dekha toh behosh the.
Daya: Main aa raha hun tum wahin ruko.
Purvi: Yes sir.
Call ended.
She glanced around, ensuring they were alone. The parking lot's dim lighting and deserted atmosphere made her uneasy.
Purvi: Abhijeet sir, please wake up.
She whispered, shaking him gently. Purvi's grip on her phone tightened, her eyes fixed on Abhijeet's pale face.
Soon daya and shreya arrived and the took him to hospital.
