"Wait, there's such a thing as a skateboarding team at school. Why didn't anybody tell me this before." Branchie heard Casey say. They were in the Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters auditorium as it was a schoolwide assembly which hadmade Casey bored until she saw the skateboarding team making her excited.

"I am Groot, I am Groot." Branchie told her. "Yeah, I should try out as I love skateboarding." Casey told her as they were leaving the auditorium seeing her sign up astounding Branchie knowing her parents and Rocket woud be proud too.

"Yeah, as they were badgering me about joining a club or society." Casey replied heading to class.

Later that afternoon, she was at the skate park doing stunts blowingoff steam after school and Branchie was at basketball practice unaware the captain of the skateboarding team was watching her impressed but knew she'd signed up for tryohts this morning after that assembly but saw her ,leavibgthe skate park.

Roxy and Rocket Senior were relieved seeing her home a bit later but in a good mood surprising them as normally, she was tired unaware of what had happened at school seeing her eating cookies to boost her energyafter skateboarding which her folks knew about and sometimes checked her for owies which embarrassed her s9metimes so wasn't telling them about the skateboardibg team or trying out fir it, as they'd make a big deal oht of it so had sworn Branchie t9 secrecy until she made the team.

Later, Branchie came home but after having a shower, was doing homework's only was surprised by Rocket asjing if she knew what was going on with Casey making the teenaged female sapling shrug her shoulders going to get something to eat as Casey and theothers had dinner only she knew they were curious about why Casey was being secretive about what she was up to involving the skateboarding team.

"Today's the day, skateboarding tryouts and can do this, but will tell my folks if I make the team." Casey said getting ready getting ready for the day making Branchie get it hugging her. It was a few days later and theday of tryoyts for the skateboarding team making the female-kit excited yet nervoys having toast surprising her folks and Rocket unaware of what was happening as both youngsters left for school making Rocket decide to tail them as his parents were concerned aboht Casey seeing her going to the skate park duringfree period seeing the skateboarding team realisibg what was going on.

"That's pretty impressive and she'll get on the team, as skateboarding helps calm her down like art but mom and dad will be happy she's participating in school social stuff." he told himself unaware Branchie was there and had seen him sensing what he was doing here.. "Mom and Papa Marshmallow were cobcerned aboht ohr girl so I wasmaking sure she wasn't getting into anything dangerous." he admitted hiding behind a bush seeing Casey paw-bumping noticing Branchie looking at the bush Rocket was hidibg behind confused making Rocket hope she didn't bust him.

"Cone on Branchie we should getback before we're late." she said leaving relieving Rocket
