"Something a bit intimate..." Sara repeated his words back to him, as if to confirm that what she heard was right.

"Yes. You will come to my room every evening and do those... those things you just told me you can do. In return, you get the amenities that you asked for. Plus, freedom to roam around the castle... with Kokushibo or... that weird Shadow guy. Is it a deal then?" He backed slightly and offered his hand for a handshake.

Making a deal with a demon was not on Sara's bucket list, but there she was. Making a deal with the King of Demons himself. She internally shrugged.Listen, whatever gets me a damn room, she thought to herself.

"We have a deal then, Mr. Demon King, Sir" Sara nodded and shook his hand, smiling calmly in an attempt to conceal her absolute disgust and terror.

Satisfied, Kibutsuji shook her hand for a short while, his lips forming a malicious smirk. "Actually, I have had everything prepared for you ever since you arrived"

"You WHAT"

"Indeed, I just wanted to test you-"

"YOU SON OF A B-"

Kibutsuji covered Sara's mouth, still smiling deviously. "Watch it. Know your place."

Sara uncovered her own mouth by pushing his hand away. "You son of a branch. That's what I was going to say, who are you taking me for, you red-eyed... cat-eyed... pale-ass... whatever"

He slightly raised an eyebrow. He was not even mad, he was just amused. He had never seen anyone act so unhinged towards him. Not even when he was a pathetic weak, sickly human. He started feeling a slight spark of excitement inside of him. Overall, he hated change, but this boredom-curing novelty was interesting to say the least.

"Listen up, buttercup. I'll see you in your room tonight and I'll wash your hair until it shines brighter than the FUCKING SUN. Then, I'll take care of your wavy hair because someone CLEARLY has not informed himself on how to do it properly despite being an OLD man."

He was taken aback by the sudden disrespect. "Wow, I-"

"Ever heard of skincare? Because we're gonna make some GOD DAMN face masks tonight!"

"Fantastic, I-"

"Have you even seen your face? It's giving DULL and we want it to be giving GLAZED."

He looked at her, perplexed. "Now, this is just-"

She interrupted him for the thousandth time "I'm asking Kokushibo to bring everything!"

"HUMAN! LISTEN TO ME!" Kibutsuji's potent voice echoed through the room. Sara, startled, stopped in her tracks and went quiet. After the sudden silence, the demon cleared his throat. "You can't know when night time is because you don't have the sunlight to guide you."

Sara stood there, dumbfounded. "Wha"

"...you knew that, right?" he whispered.

"...yes?" she whispered back.

"...is it daytime or night time?" he asked, in a whisper again.

"It's daytime" she whispered the answer.

Muzan got closed to her ear and gently breathed in. "Human..." he whispered. "You are WRONG! Your perception of time is EXTREMELY OFF!"

Sara pushed him off. "DUDE, DON'T YELL IN MY EAR, THE FUCK!"

Muzan laughed loudly and stepped back clapping his hands. "You're so fucking DUMB! How could you fall for that!"

Now it was Sara's turn to feel anger. She massaged her own ear. "You loud-ass BRANCH"

He laughed louder and replied. "You dumb-ass BRANCH"

Sara's anger vanished from her body in a split second. "Is this like our thing now? Calling each other a branch?"

Muzan spoke, with a malicious smile plastered all over his face. "I mean, would you rather have me call you a bitc-"

"Branch is good. Branch is great. Let's call each other a branch from now on"

"Won't you call me Master?"

"I would rather die."

Kibutsuji scoffed. "Whatever, branch. I was not expecting much from your smooth brain anyway" He rolled his eyes at her response.

"Whatever that means" Truly, she did not understand what Muzan meant.

"This insult is too advanced for an anatomy-ignorant peasant such as yourself"

"Listen, how am I supposed to know when to go to your room then?" Sara looked at him, absolutely dumbfounded once more.

"THAT, my little branchy human, is what I wanted to tell you before you broke into a monologue. If only you weren't getting so sassy and branchy with me, I could have actually told you" He crossed his arms, feigning offense.

"Right..." Sara remembered that he was trying to tell her something, yet she kept on talking and never allowed him to get a single word in the conversation.

Kibutsuji handed her a strange wrist-worn bracelet-looking device and tied it carefully on her wrist. "This is a demonic device of my own creation. I made it with my own cells, so that every time I need you, I will know where you are. It will let you know when night time arrives."

Sara did not understand a single word he said, but assumed she'd get the situation soon enough.

The device suddenly spoke on its own. "It's night time! It's night time!".

"Oh" Sara understood now. Kibutsuji could create weird stuff that spoke on its own and he would use it to annoy the crap out of her.

"Well, you heard it. It's night time, let's head to my room".

The demon walked in front of her, hoping she would follow. And following she did, she really wished to FINALLY have a room of her own. They walked in silence for a few minutes, with Muzan walking a couple meters ahead of her at all times. Finally, they reached a red-colored door. Kibutsuji opened the door, revealing a big traditional room with a desk and plenty of manuscripts, organised in different shelves.

"Wow..." Sara was left open-mouthed, which stroked Muzan's ego further.

"I know, it's very aesthetically pleasing"

"I didn't think you would read" Sara was in fact not fazed by the room in the slightest. Rather, she was impressed by the large amount of manuscripts present.

"What do you think I do 90% of my free time? You also have to consider the fact that I don't really sleep, so my days are very long" He opened a drawer as he spoke.

"I don't know, causing terror and making more demons are your most known activities" She declared, bluntly. .

"Yet those are the ones I spend the least time on" From the drawer, Kibutsuji brought out what seemed like a sleeping robe and handed it to Sara. "Now go wash yourself again and wear this. After you're done, come here to fulfil our deal"

Sara's eyes sparked with joy. "Finally! Something other than what I've been wearing for a week!" She ran out of Muzan's room and headed to the bathroom where she had been bathing the whole week.

Finally, finally, finally.

After a good bath and some clean clothes, Sara was overjoyed.

Ifinally feel like a person again!

She yawned in relaxation, but remembered that she had to go back to her captor's room to wash and style his hair.

She wondered about Muzan's hair length choice. Usually, men wore their hair long, up in a reverse knot or a ponytail. But he kept it short and manageable. It was completely against the current fashion trends. It didn't even reach his shoulders. The longest part of his hair, which was the back, just barely touched the highest part of the neck area of his kimono. The front part barely went below his ear.

Does this guy have no sense of taste?Sara thought to herself.

"Alright... Thankfully his hair is short..." She mumbled while drying her own hair. "He has wavy hair as well, so it should be easy... I'll treat it just like mine but shorter."

She just wanted to get it over with. Being alone in a strange man's room was unsettling. No... it was even worse than that. It wasn't a strange man, it was the man that ordered her kidnapping... Heck, he was not even a man, he was a demon.

Yeah... she really wanted it to be quick and painless. She was so scared of what that guy could possibly do... especially considering his suggestive behaviour from not that long ago.

"Wow... I'm screwed, aren't I?"

Well, seems like not only does he have bad taste considering they're in the Sengoku period, but he's also pretty weird.

Who would have thought? Why do you think he's acting so weird?

Anyway, thank you for reading! And see you next Mondayyyy!
