A bit of a ramble. I've become sceptical of the choices being made by my country regarding Eurovision. I think the whole thing is orchestrated from the first to the last step. Do you want to know why? Because the last time, it was actually and truly decided here what song in 1991, it looked something like this.

The nation of Serbia takes up some fruits. She peels the banana, orange, kiwi and apple, and chops them all up with a large knife. Her assistant is there watching the news with a worried expression.

"My nation, the Yugoslavian house is in shambles. Your fellow nations are turning against you. It does not seem like you will get out of this alive."

Serbia calmly continues to prepare her fruit salad. She drizzles some homemade honey over the finely cut fruit pieces and picks up a fork.

"What's on the agenda for today?" the nation says quietly.

"Um... the Eurovision contest. But I don't think you should waste your energy on that now when..."

"It's fine. Let me see the contestants", Serbia says calmly sitting down and piercing a piece of fruit.

Her elderly, experiences assistant sighs, showing her a piece of paper. "If you want my advice, we should probably go with something sombre. A ballad or something low tempo." Serbia raised her lip and eyebrow.

"La, la, la, la, la la, la

Brazil!

Meni ne treba Brazil!

Samo rumba, cha cha cha

Takvu igru voilm ja!"

A thin woman with long blond hair sang while dancers in flamboyant costumes did Latin dances on a bright stage.

A very catchy and upbeat song, played even today. The final result was 1 point, second to last place.

Serbia watches everything unravel from backstage, with her hands crosses, looking and feeling done. "The whole thing is rigged. I don't want to play anymore", she says and walks away.
